One of my favorite places to get Pho. Overall, their food is great. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. I would recommend this place.
We almost didn’t come because of the reviews but glad we did! Pho and orange chicken were delicious. Our server volunteered some of his favorites and was prompt, professional and courteous. We came before the rush and did not have to wait long for our food; this place will definitely be our Pho place to visit!
Great food, great service! You have to try the calamari, it's excellent! And be sure to order the jasmine tea in the pot. It has the leaves in it, don't let that discourage you, the leaves settle on the bottom of the cup and are not an issue. The tea has a wonderful jasmine flavor.
Sunday 12pm, an elderly lady was waiting to be seated, I waited about 3 min before she stormed out. A waiter sat us at a table 2 min after that and communicated with us. We ordered (we already knew what we wanted as a party of 3) and food was out within 15 min! 1 Brisket Pho & 2 Combo Pho. Service is with a smile and we felt that our needs were met. Amazing food and great service along with a nice price for THE BEST PHO
Amazing authentic taste and flavor! I got the tom yum soup with a side of white rice and mango salad spicy level medium on both and they knocked it out the park. Amazing customer service and selection of food. Definitely will be coming back to try other dishes as this was my first experience and I was very pleased.
Great food! I love a place that doesn't shy away from flavor. We got the spring rolls with fried tofu, and they were some of the best I've had. We also got the cashew chicken and Laotian-style larb, which were both excellent. The service was great too. Our server was really nice! We'll definitely be back
Straight up LEGIT! From DTLA. We need a place like this in LA! 1) Taste: delicious. Been to many Thai restaurants. Some too sweet, some too salty, etc. Hit and miss. This place has the food dialed in just right. 2) Portions: get your money's worth and then some! 3) Service: friendly. Try the papaya salad. 🔥👍
Good pho place....their combination pho is very tasteful and good. We've been to several pho restaurants they don't taste great as this pho here. Highly recommended here. Kind a salty and pricey as well. Overall, good experience, atmosphere, highly recommended. A++++++ most likely to visit again.
Great place to eat!! I love everything in their menu! If you are into cuisine from all over Asia, then you'll love the food here!! I highly highly recommend the Thai boat noodles, pad khee mao, papaya salad, and pad thai! The servers all had great attitudes and loved that they were all smiling and seemed happy. Will be back.
The restaurant is very spacious and relatively clean. We went during late lunch on a Saturday and we (family of 5) were seated immediately. The service was all right. The servings were a very good portion for the price. One kid's fried noodle was enough to feed all 3 of my kids. The pad see ew was tasty, and my wife enjoyed the seafood fried rice. They also serve a variety of other Asian noodle dishes such as Japanese (yakisoba), Vietnamese (pho), and Filipino (pancit). Will definitely be back with the family to try the other dishes.
I've been visiting this place for a few years, and I've always been satisfied. The service is friendly, though it’s a bit on the slow side. Their beef pho is consistently flavorful, but the star of show is definitely their made in house chili oil, it's the best I've ever tasted that I can’t find anywhere near as good. Overall, it's a fantastic spot, though it tends to get quite busy during the dinner rush.
I most enjoyed the Cashew Chicken. The ingredients in the Vegetable Spring rolls and other dishes seemed fresh and were tasty. Apparently take out from here is popular as there was a steady stream of people picking up food. The restaurant is pretty nice for a restaurant in this category with some wear showing on tables and chairs. I agree with others that this is on the expensive side for this style of food but I thought that was reflected in the quality ingredients.
I went on high recommendations of a co worker. This was not my favorite and my friend did not like it at all. We all have different likes and dislikes. We had beef and broccoli. I have had better beef and broccoli. The one thing I appreciated was the exchange a salad for the rice. Yes, a small upcharge which was fine. The salad was fresh and I added a spritz of sweet and sour dressing, but it was a stand alone and did not need anything. The wait staff was patient and hard working. The menu item we wanted was out, which is understandable. Maybe, I will go again with my co-worker and they can help me with my selection. I do enjoy trying new things.
Ordered Spring rolls and received 2 cut in half ($12). The Pad Thai ($16) was plain and tasted a bit too sweet, like from a packet and not "homemade" & it usually comes with some color (vegetable). The chicken and seafood Pho (each $14 for small) was just ok. The Orange Chicken ($16) was good with a nice crunch and sauce, comes with rice). Spent $79 before tip. Overall: overpriced for ok food.
The food was decent but extremely overpriced for the quality. The atmosphere was very old and not well kept. I understand that the economy is tough but cleanliness is close to godliness especially where food establishments are concerned. I would have liked to been made aware that the broth had different options as beef and seafood are not a great combo. Our water was not refreshed regularly for such an empty restaurant. I am a bit disappointed in this overall experience.
We have come here several times through the years, even when it was known as Noodleland. We haven't gone since over a year and decided to check it out. Ordered my usual, Boat Noodles. I gotta say I wasn't happy with it. Tasted like I was eating pho and surprisingly what was in it, looked like pho too. So maybe if you want pho, order pho but that's not what I wanted. Boat Noodles have definitely changed. Prices are rather expensive. Goi Cuon (fresh spring rolls) for 2 is $11.99...Yeah nope. Service was okay, I guess.
Unfortunately ordering to-go means ordering uncooked, disassembled groceries instead of an actual meal. Not to mention the extreme health violation of serving raw meat on top of cooked/ready to eat food. I wish I brought the whole order back and got a refund. I don't even have a bowl to put this in to eat. I was asked for my phone number, and yet it was not used for the purpose of reciept or notifying me my order was ready so I guess my information is now signed up for marketing without my consent as well.
