Avis sur Three Amigos Restaurant Newbury Park
A popular spot for Mid-sized burrito's. I stick with the "Veggie". Usually in High demand with the residents who live in the area. Very clean and food is ready in 15 minutes. Parking is first come first serve..due to many stores and health club. I'm picky about my Veggie Burrito's .. .. Take my word.. you will want to visit here..if it's only once.
Food was delicious and prices were average for the area. We ordered a burrito, nachos, and flan - all 3 were excellent.
Can’t get enough of the grilled fish 🐠 tacos!, huge portions of mahi
Pretty good tostada salad. If this place had a beer license, it would be a gold mine.
Excellent food. Highly recommend the Supreme burrito Enchilado style!
Been coming here for 10 years. I think I had a mediocre burrito just one time. Consistently great quality. Way better than the chains that wanna be Mexican.
The steak was chard broiled and it gave it a great taste. We had Carne asada, tostada salad with carne asada and a vegetarian burrito. It was fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit again even though we don’t live around.
Excellent Mexican food. The carne asada torta is my go-to order. Make sure to pack salsa at the salsa station if you order take out. They won’t pack it for you which is ok.
"Very quickly I have ordered a Burrito 🌯🌯 or two from this location a few times since the"Covid -19/Coronavirus " Lock 🔐 down. When I am in the area... seeing friends. We will pick a place to order takeout... I don't eat meat 🍖🥓. So I prefer a Burrito 🌯 with"🍚 Rice, veggies 🧅🥒 🥬 🥕 🫑🌶️.. add 🍅 🍤. The burrito's here are really big. Not like " Taco Bell 🔔" .. Then again every Mexican 🌮🌯 Restaurant can decide on the portions. I included some pictures. The restaurant is always tidy and very organized. There are tables and chairs outside,as well as the restaurant. No bathroom.. This location is very popular with High School 🎓🎒📚🧃👟👟 kid's. The local residents enjoy it as well. They have an area..for sauces in bin's. With a protective covering. Utensils are plastic, drink dispenser .. The ordering, paying and cooking is done 👍 in an organized fashion. I do recommend this place.. should you ever end up in Newbury Park CA. Parking 🅿️ is rather difficult due to a gym. It must be really popular with the natives. .. don't forget to tip.
We call in to pick up food here for takeout, for dinner in the evenings. I order their 3 amigos burrito which is top notch in my book when it comes to value, portion-size, and taste. Service is quick as well and so far there's not been any issues with our orders.
Now that my wife and I are retired we have been away for months at a time, but every time we are back in Newbury Park, our "Home", we always go to 3 Amigos, since is one of our favorite places to get great Mexican food. Good Mexican food is pretty much none existent in the East Coast, not even So Florida. This little fast food, family owned, restaurant has awesome Mexican food. Being coming to their Newbury Park location since we moved here some 10 yrs ago, and to their location on Avenida De Los Árboles in Thousand Oaks before then, all together over 25 yrs. Highly recommend 👌 this place, if you like authentic Mexican food without the thrill of a sit down restaurant.
Three Amigos is an excellent restaurant. The food here is very authentic and the salsa bar is very precise when it comes to actual Mexican food. The chicken quesadilla is arguably the greatest Mexican dish I have ever had when it comes fast-food. It tastes amazing, and the mild salsa goes great with it. The stuff that comes with it is also freshly made and they don't make it until you order it! The ambience is fantastic, and the drinks are excellent! I highly recommend this place!
I’ve been going to this place since I was in high school and that was over 10 years ago. I’m happy they are still in business and going strong. The nachos are always a classic and a favorite of mine. Additionally the salads are good too. Yesterday I tried the 3 amigos burrito with my beans on the side and I added pico. It was delicious. It has peppers, carnitas, guacamole, rice and beans. The flavor of the pork was so good and the burrito had good proportion and filling ratios. My fiance got the same thing but with steak and “enchilada” style which comes wet . We both devoured about half and saved half for later. We will definitely be back !
Hard shell carnitas tacos were great, my favorite! Flavor and quality were fabulous, and love the fresh salsa bar, great selections. For fellow midwesterners, just giving feedback: sauce labeled hot is equivalent to medium-mild sauce. Forgot to take a photo, will post one on my next visit.
Well, not really for amazing quality. It's just a dependable local dive with Google food. The salsas tend toward the hot side. Even the mild. We're a fan of the Gorditas, as their beef is really good. Stop by! It's worth a visit.
Their 3 Amigos burrito is one of my favorites along with their steak quesadillas. However, if you order the quesadilla for example and ask for extra guacamole they’ll charge you extra and put a giant heap of shredded lettuce and maybe half a tablespoon on top of that (the “extra” and even the normal amount has shrunk significantly over the years). Which in my opinion ruins it because then I’m just picking lettuce out of what little they give you. To 3 Amigos, you’re not fooling anyone, and this isn’t a one off incident. I’m not generally one to complain… but they’ve been doing it for years and so I feel I need to warn people about it. I get that prices have increased on all grocery items lately… but don’t charge me more and give me less. I received (maybe) a tablespoon and a half and a tiny smidge of sour cream. I love this place otherwise… but this shady practice really leaves a bad taste in my mouth and makes me less inclined to go there. If you want to charge more for guacamole, it makes sense. But don’t charge me extra and pretend to be giving more when you’re not. And to be clear, in the image I attached, I mixed the sour cream and quac together to try to salvage what little they give.
Howww is this place rated 4.5 stars?! Very mediocre Mexican food, they don’t have refried beans, the horchata comes from a watered-down machine, the taquitos seem like they are from a freezer & don’t even come with guacamole. The meat & cheese is very low quality. Have tried to give them a few tries because they are so close by but the food just isn’t great at all. I feel like we wasted money & a meal that could have been enjoyed someplace else. Only giving two stars because I feel bad giving 1 star.
Pretty hard to imagine worse Mexican food. $13 burritos that were mediocre in every way imaginable: lacking meat, flavor, salt, texture, and authenticity. You can go almost anywhere else and get better food for this price, including some fast food joints. This was our second time here and we won’t be back again.
Their food is always good but unfortunately, the lady who was working the counter today was biased. I saw a customer before me who was eating a burrito ask for a side of sour cream and the lady working the counter quickly and gladly gave it to her. I, having also ordered a burrito, tried to follow suit and also asked for a side of sour cream. The lady behind the counter immediately tells me that she would need to ring me up for it. This confused me greatly because I literally saw someone before ask for one and not get rung up…. the only difference is that she was eating there and I was taking my burrito to go? Could that be the reason? I think an explanation would be much preferred. I genuinely hope it was not race driven as the person who asked for sour cream before me was white and I am not.
Ordered Chicken fajitas. Hardly any chicken in fajita plate. Mostly vegetables. Onions and peppers. Also went to there wed site to get there menu prices. Upon ordering for pickup, I found out that there prices on there site were about $3.50+ less than what they changed me. All of there prices on there web site menu were no where near what they charge in person.
