From the moment we arrived at the chef’s counter at NAMI, the experience felt truly elevated. The staff was exceptionally polished—warm, gracious, and effortlessly attentive—making us feel welcomed and well cared for from start to finish. Every detail was handled with intention, and the service was consistently impeccable. The atmosphere at the chef’s counter is refined yet inviting, striking the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. A true standout—and we can’t wait to return.
This was our first time at Nami and it was fan-freaking-tastic. The menu is so innovative and the flavors are so unique and delicious. We loved every single thing we ate. The chicken wings, hamachi and tuna maki were standouts. Our server Edwin D was fantastic. He was kind, attentive and engaging. Such a fabulous experience!
Nami Restaurant in Orlando is an absolute must, especially if you can get a seat at the chef’s counter. The chef’s counter experience was hands down the highlight of our visit and unlike anything else we’ve done in the area. It felt less like a typical dinner and more like a live performance paired with incredible food. Watching the chefs work up close was both entertaining and impressive. Every dish was prepared with precision, creativity, and a lot of personality. The chefs interacted with guests, explained what they were making, and added humor and energy throughout the night, which made the whole experience feel fun, relaxed, and personal. It truly felt like dinner and a show all in one. Of course, the food was outstanding. Each course was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You could tell a lot of thought went into every detail, from the ingredients to the plating. Nothing felt rushed, and each dish built on the last, making the entire meal feel intentional and special. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Orlando—not just a good meal—Nami’s chef’s counter delivers. It’s perfect for a date night, celebration, or anyone who enjoys great food with a little excitement. We’d absolutely do it again.
From the moment we arrived at NAMI, the experience was exceptional. The staff is overwhelmingly polite, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcomed immediately. Every detail of our visit was handled with care, and the service was consistently top-notch. The atmosphere at NAMI is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal or special occasion. The team’s professionalism and genuine hospitality stood out, making the entire experience memorable. From start to finish, NAMI exceeds expectations. If you’re in Orlando and want outstanding service, delicious food, and a welcoming environment, NAMI is a must-visit. We can’t wait to return!
The service was amazing from the moment we walked in, the hostesses were very nice and everyone kept congratulating me on my birthday (servers, food runners, bussers) meaning everyone was on top of the tables 👏🏽 Food was good, the steak was not medium rare was more medium well but we didn’t want to make a deal out of it. Cocktails were absolutely delicious. Thank you ☺️
This place is exquisite from start to finish. The food was amazingly delicious. Each dish was presented so creatively and was so tasty. The service was impeccable. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about each entree and they would time each of the entrees coming out in a way that it wouldn’t overwhelm and overcrowd the table and we can eat in peace. We had caviar, oysters, lobster fried rice, sushi and so much more. I highly recommend visiting this place for an. The atmosphere was inviting and dimly lit, sexy and unique. Amazing experience all around 👌🏽
Amazing amazing service!! The ambiance and the food were Perfection. The manager Annie went above and beyond for us. We were celebrating our engagement. So they made sure we felt celebrated. We will definitely be back with friends!! ♥️
10/10 service by Pablo! He recommended the perfect drinks and food. We went for our anniversary celebration and the staff all wished us and made us feel very special with a cute note too! The atmosphere was gorgeous and the food was even better. 100% will go back for the lobster donuts, lamb chops and hamachi.
Omg. The ambiance was absolutely amazing. The waiter is so sweet and attentive. The food (I had the lamb chops and my girlfriend had the ribeye) was delicious. But the icing on the cake was the lobster donuts 🥰 The price was worth it as it was on the pricey side. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
My husband and I visited for their Magical Dining menu, and the entire experience was exceptional! Every dish was flavorful, generously portioned, and beautifully presented. Our server was not only attentive but also a joy to chat with, adding a personal touch to the evening. The ambiance of the restaurant was vibrant and inviting. Perfect for a night out. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
Amazing venue that feels intimate and moody. The experience was wonderful and the food was incredibly delicious and full of flavor yet light. The staff were absolutely fabulous. I immediately ordered their Mandarin cocktail, and their tuna crudo appetizer. I then ordered their robata salmon as my main meal. For dessert, I opted for the banana dessert which is infused with rum and coconut. I would highly recommend anyone in the area who's looking for delicious Japanese cuisine. You will not be disappointed.
This was our first time dining at the Chef’s Counter with Chef Jason and Sous Chef Kyle, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Each course was not only delicious but also came with Chef Jason’s personal stories and insights into what inspired the dish, which made the evening both entertaining and meaningful. The entire team was attentive, accommodating, and incredibly welcoming. Chef Jason made the night feel personable and fun — we never felt like just guests, but part of the experience itself. I also want to mention our server, Katrina, who was wonderful throughout the night. She was warm, attentive, and really added to the overall experience. We highly recommend Chef Jason, Sous Chef Kyle, Katrina, and the entire team for anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience.
My boyfriend & I came here last night for our 3 year anniversary. The food and service was absolutely amazing. The staff was so attentive and friendly to us. The food was so delicious and we already looking forward to coming back into to town for Nami. 10/10!
My date and I enjoyed our experience very much. The food was fantastic and the service was very considerate. I recommend sharing at least 3-4 dishes. The sea bass was great but had an unusual texture. The meat was stringy rather than tender. (that's my only complaint) A must for Orlando Locals!
Great intimate vibe, friendly and attentive staff, amazing tasty dishes! Had a dinner date at the bar - we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you Savannnah, David, and Mali - you all are great and appreciated !!!
I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this review… From the moment we arrived at Nami, the experience was flawless. Even though we showed up 20 minutes early, we were seated right away. I had mentioned ahead of time that it was my wife’s birthday, and every staff member who passed by wished her a happy birthday. It was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for the evening. Our server, Mario, was outstanding. His calm demeanor, deep knowledge of the menu, and genuine hospitality made the night unforgettable. He walked us through each section, gave recommendations, and made the whole process feel effortless. Choosing dishes at a place like this can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Mario made it easy—and every single suggestion he gave was spot on. We started with the cucumber salad and the lobster donuts. The salad looked exactly like the photos online, and the sauce was phenomenal. The lobster donuts were light, savory, and absolutely delicious—one of the highlights of the night. Next, we tried the oysters and hamachi. The yellowtail was incredibly fresh, with a truffle ponzu sauce so good I could have sipped it from the bowl. The oysters, sourced from Washington, were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were so good, I had to order a second round before our entrées arrived. For the main course, we shared the salmon and a 3oz cut of A5 steak. The salmon was cooked perfectly, tender enough to fall apart with a fork, and paired beautifully with the red ponzu sauce. The A5 steak was everything you’d expect—rich, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Served with an A5 demi-glace, it was a flawless pairing that showcased the care and skill behind the dish. Even though we were full, we couldn’t resist dessert. We ordered the tropical fruit vacherin and the hot chocolate fondant. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The vacherin had fresh mango that made it bright and refreshing, while the chocolate fondant was decadent, with a molten center and a layer of matcha cream that balanced it perfectly. To top it off, the staff surprised my wife with extra ice cream and a candle to celebrate her birthday—a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot. Overall, the entire evening was perfect from start to finish. The food, the service, the attention to detail—everything exceeded our expectations. A huge thank-you to the entire team, and especially to Mario, for making this such a memorable experience!
Absolutely decadent. It was our first time here celebrating, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Bryanna, was amazing she explained everything perfectly and was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The soft ambient lighting set the perfect mood for our date night celebration. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, from the servers to those delivering the food, and we even had a lovely conversation with the young lady who cleared our table. We'll definitely be back might try the chef's counter or the regular dining room next time to explore more of the menu. Not pictured, the Midori Sour I drank it was superb.

A beautiful and exquisite experience. Service was amazing and the food even better. So many great dishes. We tri d the Orlando magical dining menu and myself along with two friends, got to try a lot of different dishes. I tried the Nami nuggets (to their version of chicken nuggets) thinking I would likely think they're just ok. Boy was I wrong! Get the Nami nuggets. For dinner I had the pork katsu. Very nicely done. The appetizer they bring as an extra fish was out of this world. The flavors, especially for the h seaweed krisps was spot on. Now aim anxious to try their chefs table dining experience
Outstanding. A true NYC vibe. No windows, dark, perfect volume of great background music. We had around 10 dishes for 3 of us. Outstanding food. Most dishes were a 5. The complementary pre meal snack was among the top hits. The deboned wings, bacon, oysters, ribeye and tuna were top Choices. Nami is a must try! My only criticism is that the steak sat in the window too long. It was only warm. That’s a big deal at a place like this and for the price. Overall, excellent.
Great intimate vibe, friendly and attentive staff, amazing tasty dishes! Had a dinner date at the bar - we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you Savannnah, David, and Mali - you all are great and appreciated !!!
I had the pleasure of attending the Chef's Counter dining experience with Chef Jason and Sommelier David, and celebrating their 100th seating of the Chef's Counter! The service was impeccable, the food was amazing, and the conversations were sincere. Will definitely be back again and looking forward to Chef's next creations and David's wine pairings.
Dining at Lake Nona's Nami for their "Chef's Tasting Experience" was an unforgettable journey of culinary excellence and heartwarming hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the modern ambiance set the stage for what was to be an extraordinary evening. The culinary journey curated by Executive Chef Jason B, Chef Jonathan F, and Sous Chef Caytano was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a masterpiece, blending innovative techniques with the freshest ingredients, creating flavors that danced on the palate in perfect harmony. The creativity and attention to detail in every course reflected their passion and mastery in the culinary arts. Equally impressive was the knowledge and charm of their Sommelier, David. His selections perfectly complemented each dish, enhancing the dining experience with his rich understanding of wine pairings. His ability to weave the story behind each wine into our evening added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. The team's commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of our experience. The service was impeccable, striking a perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. It's rare to find a place where the quality of food, service, and atmosphere all converge so beautifully. I left Nami with a sense of gratitude, not just for the amazing meal, but for the entire experience. It's a testament to the skill and dedication of everyone involved. Lake Nona's Nami is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary destination that is not to be missed. The "Chef's Tasting Experience" is a must-try for anyone seeking a truly exceptional dining experience.
Made reservation on OpenTable, it is located in the wave hotel, you can valet infront of the hotel or drive to the back and there is also valet right outside of the restaurant. If you did go through the front entrance of the hotel (you can also self park at the parking garage for free, short walk). Go through the lobby, outside to your right, follow the koi fish on the floor! Beautiful doors open to the restaurant, the staff are so friendly! We were promptly seated and wow it's pretty inside! It's dark and atmosphere is really cool. Not a big place. Our waiter Tyler was fantastic! Always on top of it. You got really nice place setting with a towelette! Start off with some rice paper crackers and dip. We started with a couple of cocktails, blush (kind of like a lychee martini) and mandarin (similar to manhattan). Both pretty good. For apps we did the lobster donuts (soft and delicious), and the hamachi (fresh and melts in your mouth). For entree we went for the lamb chops (came with a side of potato salad), my hubby really enjoyed this, he loved it. I got the sea bass, it was perfect! We also shared a side of the mushroom rice, also good. Dessert we went for the golden rocher, my gosh, heaven! Amazing!!!! We paired our dessert with espresso. Perfect new year eve evening! Can't wait to return.
What an outstanding dining experience we had last night! I really wa as it sure what time by with some of the reviews on here, but I can tell you that this is now one of our favorite restaurants in Orlando! Unique decor and beautiful trees surrounding the restaurant. Our server Jan Carlos and assistant server Carlos were superstars! They had great recommendations of food pairing, as well as being super friendly, professional, and very attentive. Service was top notch. The food was a mix of amazing flavors, and the presentation of each dish, exquisite! Chef Jason and his team did a phenomenal job with each dish, as we truly enjoyed every bite. Our favorites were the octopus, the wagyu and the rice and mushrooms. For the wines, our sommelier David made some fantastic recommendations, as every wine we tried was delicious and paired well with each course. David even went above and beyond by having the chef make us a custom bite; Pork belly bao bun with a twist. That was a very nice and special gesture! Overall, yes, it is on the expensive side, but we'll worth it. The atmosphere was really laid-back, and for a second, we forgot we were still in Orlando. Phenomenal food, and outstanding customer service, we will definitely be back again in the near future!
We went there for magical dining this time. This place is very pretty. It is inside of the wave hotel by lake Nona. After or before dinner, u can also go enjoy the beautiful art garden there. The service, is by far the best besides disney. It is a nice team work. Our server is super nice! Very knowledgeable! Up-sale is right at the point but too pushy. The food are delicious. The sesame tofu is very smooth. I don’t drink, so I had mocktail amarath. It tasted like ume chi-hai. I enjoyed it. Chicken nuggets had katsu breading, very crunch. Hamachi roll is delightful. The tuna is a little too sweet for my taste, but my husband enjoyed it very much. Salmon sauce is good, presentation is beautiful. The lettuce is the highlight. However, I wish the meat could be m instead of welldone. I think salmon tastes best with soft flesh and crunchy skin. The lamb is great, paired with Japanese style potato salad. Chocolate is super! Dark chocolate, Volcano style, matcha ice cream. Perfect match. Dojima roll has the passionfruit and mango topping, a little on the sweet side, for me. But the sorbet is very refreshing. The fruits give it an acidic and sweet balance. Enjoyed everything. Will come back with friends
The food was a work of art in itself! I am very impressed by the service. No where else does the staff change your plates after every meal. Our server and the restaurant staff made sure our table was squeaky clean after every meal. Truly impressed by the amount of detail put into this restaurant in terms of food, cleanliness, and service.
My partner and I visited for our anniversary dinner tonight and we had an incredible experience. The service was welcoming, friendly and attentive (thank you, Kat!). The cocktails were fantastic - the cedar and the Mandarin were exceptional and my partner enjoyed the umber highball. We did the pre fixe menu and it did not disappoint. The portions were generous and the food was phenomenal without exception. We especially enjoyed the oysters and the ribeye. Coffee with our dessert was a lovely ending to a very filling and fulfilling meal. Our hearts are full. This was a special occasion dinner for us for sure, but we would love to come back to try the other menus and the Chef's Counter and the bar, as well. We highly recommend!!
Overall a nice experience. From the start, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Descriptions of all the dishes and drinks were helpful. We chose not to do the prefix menu so we could expand our options. Most of the food is quite small and almost Tapas style so be ready to order multiple things per person. Cucumber Salad - very refreshing light and in a tasty sauce. Shareable but small. Octopus- served on 2 skewers. Probably one of the best I've tasted. Cooked to perfection. Wagyu skewers - delicious! Lamb chops - this along with the Octopus and wages skewers were our favorites! Served with a cold potato salad. Hamachi maki - not my cup of tea and a bit too fishy for me. Lacking in taste. Dessert: can't go wrong. Everything was delicious Drinks: try the Moss and also the passion fruit mocktail!
Incredible dining experience! Food, drinks, service, ambiance- all a 10/10. It’s a vibe. I won’t be surprised when it receives a Michelin star, as it is definitely at that level. We enjoyed many of the small plates, and our stand outs were the wagyu, bacon, oysters, and nami nuggets. The golden rocher dessert is heavenly and pairs perfectly with an espresso martini. This is our new date night spot and we can’t wait to return. Looking forward to trying Omakase next. What a great addition to Orlando and the Nonahood.
Celebrating my birthday at Nami Restaurant was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the team went above and beyond to make every detail feel special. The dishes were exquisitely prepared and bursting with flavor, and the desserts were simply divine. Exceptional service, warm ambiance, and mouthwatering cuisine thank you, Nami, for making my celebration truly unforgettable!
My husband and I have been here multiple times now and it’s always a first-class experience at Nami. You won’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Each item is expertly curated for presentation and taste. Perfect for a date night, business dinner, or night out with good friends.
Nami @ LNGCC Tasting Review At Nami's ephemeral pop-up at Lake Nona Country Club, Chef's oysters arrive bathed in silken crème fraîche and crowned with glistening caviar, a fleeting moment of oceanic decadence that lingers well beyond its consumption. The miniature lobster roll—a study in restraint and luxury—delivers sweet, succulent meat nestled in butter-kissed brioche that practically demands to be enjoyed alongside selections from Vivian Lewis's impeccably curated wine collection. The spicy cucumber salad provides a palate-cleansing counterpoint of crisp texture and gentle heat, completing a triumvirate of dishes that transforms a country club tasting into a necessary pilgrimage for serious epicures.
Loved this place. Super cute atmosphere. Very romantic setting so great for a date night! Food was delish. Small plates so you can try many things. Our server knew the menu very well and recommended some good things. The pizza was one of my favorite smaller plates. Octopus was amazing as well.
Nami you never seem to disappoint me! time and time again you seem to perfect yourself and give us the ultimate experience! i think ive had everything on the menu and i haven’t had anything i didn’t like. the lamb chops are one of my favorites but the king crab will forever hold my heart. always always always start with the cucumber salad and bacon. i can’t wait to come back and enjoy another sensational meal!
YALLL 😤 I came with family for my boyfriend’s birthday March 1st and it was the single most fun, delicious, unique restaurant experience I’ve had in my entire life no exaggeration. Crumbs were snatched off the table before anyone could blink, empty plates removed and waters filled faster than my head could turn, servers trained with extensive knowledge of every menu item and its origins. We were served by ✨Brianna✨who was so incredibly helpful, informative, and bubbly I know found myself taking mental notes of her work performance to use at my job where I serve as well! Each customer was made to feel like royalty ♥️ absolutely worth saving your pennies for🥰
Incredible. One of the most fabulous and mind blowing dining experiences I’ve had in a while. And definitely in Orlando. From beginning to end the whole dinner was top tier. The atmosphere was vibrant and sexy but also quiet and aesthetically pleasing. The food was unbelievable. Even the complimentary “pallet cleanser” brought out before the meal was delicious. The tuna pizza and oysters are a must. To die for. And the king crab fried rice with the soy cured egg yolk was hands down the best fried rice I have EVER eaten. The service was fantastic as well. Server and server assistant was there every step of the way with the best guidance, information and recommendations. I cannot recommend Nami enough!!! 5 stars.
I dined here to celebrate my birthday on November 28. My friend chose this place for us to have dinner. And I’m being specific because I hope the proper people get their credit. Understand that when you come here, the experience starts with the young man at valet who greeted me and told me happy birthday. That was a great sign for me. From then on the hostess, our server Katrina, all of the other support staff, the manager and the chef made my experience a 1 million out of 10. They exceeded my expectations. Not only was the food amazing, but the literal service was nothing short of excellent. I have experienced fine dining from several establishments in my life, this restaurant is what others try to pretend to be. It’s not about being pretentious, it’s about being inviting and enjoyable. The food was delicious, the dessert was amazing. Everything was absolutely fabulous and I will be back, especially for the lobster donut.
Our chef’s counter experience at Nami was extraordinary. Chef Jason memorized each of our names, making us feel immediately welcomed. Over a 21-dish meal that spanned three hours, we didn’t just eat, we journeyed. Chef Jason explained every dish’s story, each surpassing the last. The ingredients were top-tier, the craftsmanship impeccable. Beyond the exquisite food, the hospitality was simply above and beyond—warm, attentive, and genuine. Though it comes with a premium price tag, this experience was worth every moment. Nami doesn’t just serve food, it crafts memories and one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.
We had the most incredible dining experience at Nami! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the music perfectly complemented the vibe of the restaurant. Our server, Laura, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. The food was outstanding, with each plate offering a unique and refreshing burst of umami flavors. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. To top it off, we were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff surprised us with a special treat, which was such a thoughtful touch and truly made our evening unforgettable. Nami exceeded all of our expectations, and we will definitely be back for another memorable meal. Highly recommend!
Nami translates to beauty. And Nami at The Wave Hotel in Lake Nona understands this. The restaurant is Top Tier. We were celebrating our anniversary and from the time we arrived, all the staff helped us celebrate as well. As per our usual routine, we ordered way too much food. The end of the meal had 3 desserts on our table. Our server was amazing. He took the time to go over the entire menu and explain in detail what was special about each item. The level of attentiveness from the entire team was incredible. This will be an event we will remember and cherish for a long time.
Nami was an unbelievable experience from start to finish! If you’re hesitating, wait no longer because this is a true experience. This was a culinary delight in every aspect. From the moment you arrive at the complementary valet, you are treated very kindly and friendly. As soon as you enter into the beautiful restaurant, you are treated as if you are royalty. The specialty cocktail menu is curated with unique pairings and is a true delight. We tried many of the different entrées and small bites and were very pleased with everything. The lobster donuts were amazing. The cucumber salad was fantastic. The sea bass was delicious. Each Item was phenomenal. They also have a great wine selection as well. Upon our next return, we want to do the chefs table pairing which is $225 per person for a 20 course taste experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a true gym in every single way!! Each moment of the night was absolutely perfect and delicious and a true culinary experience that should not be missed!
Nami is an absolute must! Coming from DC, I couldn’t have chosen a better spot for dinner. The food was top tier, the ambiance flawless, and the service outstanding. The hostesses were warm and set a welcoming tone. David, the bartender, was exceptional, polite, attentive, and truly memorable (he deserves 5 stars on his own)! The owner even personally checked in to ensure everything was perfect. I sat next to two gracious, ladies who added so much joy to my birthday dinner. Every dish was exquisite and absolutely worth it. This place is an easy choice for any occasion!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Dining Experience Beyond Words – Thank You, Nami! We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my husband’s birthday at Nami, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of incredible. We walked in with our 8-month-old, unsure if we’d even be seated due to the elegant, adult-focused atmosphere. But instead of being turned away, we were welcomed with kindness and open arms. Miguel, our server, went above and beyond—attentive, sweet, personable, and incredibly thoughtful. He made us feel like family. Melissa, one of the hosts, was equally lovely. Another team member (whose name we sadly didn’t catch) gifted our baby a little rubber ducky—which we named Nami because the gesture meant so much. Now let’s talk about the food: every dish recommended by Miguel was absolute perfection. The ingredients, presentation, and flavors were expertly crafted—the chef is truly a master. Even our baby couldn’t get enough! The service, food, and atmosphere were all exceptional. A 5-star rating honestly doesn’t feel like enough. We’re beyond grateful for how we were treated and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Nami, for making this a night to remember. 💛
I had an amazing dining experience at Nami restaurant! The food was absolutely outstanding— the lamb chops, wagyu, and chocolate lava cake were the best I’ve ever had. Each dish was beautifully presented, showcasing both creativity and attention to detail. I also had a mojito, and it was simply perfect. The service was exceptional, with the waiter ensuring everything was flawless throughout the evening. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, making the experience even more memorable. I can’t wait to come back and try the chef’s table experience!
Drove over from Cocoa Beach for this... So worth it even on a stormy evening! Michelin star chef Freddy Money has created a super cool food led experience, with amazing staff, cool tunes and a beautiful environment. It was Yelps best New Restaurant in Orlando 2024, Top 15 Best New Restaurants in America 2024, Top 3 Best New Restaurants South 2024. We’d definitely go back. We had Wagu tartare, chicken mousse stuffed flat yakitori wings, Nami Nuggets (Husband says best chicken nuggets ever), lamb chops, katsu pork, asparagus and cauliflower. And what a dessert.. think massive Ferraro Rocher.. AMAzing cocktails and Laura, our server, was perfection. We’ll be back. 😍
We decided to try Nami because it was on magical dining and ultimately opted to go off of the pre fixe menu because everything looked so good. The oysters, lamb chops, octopus, and oysters were our favorites and the hot chocolate fondant dessert was absolutely mind blowing. The atmosphere and service were the cherries on top. Pablo was fun and refreshing with great advice on what to order and he was able to pace the courses we had time to enjoy each of the items we ordered. We will be back for sure!
Nami is another level of dining. The beautiful atmosphere combined with the exceptional depth of flavor in each dish is completely unmatched. Every single dish presented to us was perfection, with different textures and flavors that complimented each other. If you want to further develop your pallet and experience food in its art form, Nami is the place for you. But the best part of our experience had to be our server, Cal. Cal was informative about every, single thing known to Nami from the flavor profiles of the food to the garnishes of our cocktails. He made our dining experience so much more enjoyable with his knowledge, friendly personality, timing of our presented dishes, and his overall charisma. As first timers, my boyfriend said that we will no longer accept any other server unless it is Cal. Thank you, Nami and Cal, for the amazing experience!
Nami has a sexy vibe with the low lighting, upbeat house music and tantalizing food options. Our server, Pablo, was knowledgeable on all courses providing a descriptive tale of our food journey. Extensive wine, cocktail and saki options. Highly recommend the blush cocktail. Edamame and Nami Maki’s set the tone for the dinner. Interesting tidbit that many menu items are frequently overnighted in from Japan. Chilean Sea bass was delicate yet had a rich butter flavor. The crisp thin crunch topping was unexpected. The meal highlight was the A5 snow Wagyu with Demi glaze. Only suggestion would be that they could offer more sushi options in main dining room, however, there is a sushi counter in separate area of restaurant. 10/10 experience!
Nami is a gem in the city of Orlando! I am amazed by the culinary level at this place; there is a spectacular vibe that you can feel the moment you walk in. The food leaves you speechless from the very first bite. Their oysters are the best I have ever tasted in my life. This is already my third time visiting and I plan to keep coming back. Congratulations to the team; our server, Pablo, was excellent!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nami, an exceptional Asian fusion restaurant, that left me utterly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a delightful evening. The hospitality at Nami is truly commendable. Our server, Katrina, played a significant role in making our dining experience memorable. She went above and beyond to guide us through the extensive menu. Her enthusiasm and knowledge about the dishes added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. To our surprise and delight, they generously treated us with complimentary desserts and drinks to celebrate our anniversary. It was a thoughtful gesture that added a touch of sweetness to our special day, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to customer satisfaction. Now, let's talk about the food – a true highlight of our evening. The appetizers were nothing short of extraordinary. The Edamame, in particular, stood out as the best I've ever had in Florida. The Bacon and Lobster Donuts were a unique and delectable treat that I highly recommend. The signature cocktails - Mandarin and Blush were personal favorites, each sip delivering a perfect blend of flavors that complemented the dishes impeccably. In conclusion, Nami exceeded all expectations, offering a dining experience that will linger in my memory. Whether you're a fan of Asian fusion cuisine or simply looking for a top-notch dining experience, Nami is a must-visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning for another culinary adventure.
Came to Nami with my husband to celebrate our fourth year wedding anniversary. I can certainly say that this has been one of the most unique experiences we have had. Starting from the greetings when we walked in, to the atmosphere and service provided by Pablo was beyond great. They even had a signed card with best wishes due to our anniversary, a personal touch that meant a lot. The food was incredibly delicious, we opened our paladar to dishes we have not tried in the past thanks to the guidance of our server. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend adding this restaurant to your list as they will make your evening one to remember!
A great first experience at Nami, and surely not to be our last! A great Japanese themed resturant with flavor fusions from the world. Everything we had was well made and very tasty. On top of that the service was EXTREMELY good and rivals several well known resturants I have been to. Can definitely recommend the King Crab and the Matcha chocolate lava cake dessert. Definitely two stand outs for us. Thanks Nami! Hope to return soon.
Wow. Everything was awesome! I really enjoyed the look and vibe of the restaurant. The lighting was cool, the music was funky. Just sitting there was really enjoyable. Now for the food... When you go, you have to have the tuna pizza. It was so good, I thought about getting one for dessert. The king crab, the fried rice, the cucumber salad, the lobster donuts! Man oh man you can't go wrong! The staff were friendly, the drinks were delicious. Top marks for sure. My wife and I already have plans to go back. Make sure you make a reservation.
This felt like concierge service. I highly recommend reservations in advance. I reserved a Friday night dinner on a Monday. From check in to leaving, the service was exceptional. I really was in awe of the interior design and atmosphere. The specialty cocktails IMO were amazing and different. I enjoy trying new and different things. The waiters truly waited on you. Our glasses were never empty and dirty plates were picked up immediately. I love how they tried to preserve some of the Japanese culture including the cleansing of hands before eating. The menu had many different options from vegetables, different kinds of meat including lamb, beef, chicken and beautiful selections of seafood including tuna, salmon, sea bass, halibut. Everything was flavorful and presented well. The deserts were also amazing. Highly recommend for the top notch customer service and dining experience. The restaurant is NOT inside the wave hotel but on the exterior adjacent to it. Currently they are offering complimentary valet.
Where to begin! Nami is setting the bar for orlando luxury dining! We were originally booked for Bacan but so happy I changed to Nami. All of the food was so delicious and our server CHRIS was beyond amazing! He explained everything on the menu thoroughly and made connections and conversations with us! We even had multiple allergies and restrictions but he was sure to say what to stay clear of. The staff is so well trained and it enhanced our experience. There is a dedicated waiter to remove soiled dishes to keep table clean and “the waves” flowing!! It was on the high end but worth it! I can remember dishes and not by looking at my photos which is hard for other restaurants to compete with. The Asparagus, chicken nuggets, mushroom rice, lamb, everything was delicious and flavorful, There was not one selection I wouldn’t get again. The Chilean sea bass blew my mind and I would secure that again in a heartbeat, it was cooked to perfection and everything paired well! The golden rocher dessert was perfect indulgence. I was celebrating my birthday and they definitely made me feel special and made my experience 10/10.
10/10 customer service, food, and atmosphere. The staff went absolutely above and beyond on my girlfriend and I’s anniversary. This isn’t a typical sit-down restaurant - this is in every sense of the word an EXPERIENCE. Sitting beneath the cherry blossom trees in a dimmed-light setting, you’re immediately greeted with nothing but the best hospitality someone could ask for. Our server went over the detailed menu, highlighting his recommended dishes - all of which ended up being extremely flavorful, unique, and beautifully presented. I will definitely be back!!!
The ambience was exquisite, however the Service exceeded my expectations. Annie and Edwin were remarkable & truly left a magical first impression. Every course offering was bespoke. I truly enjoyed the lamb chops, and a handcrafted Lychee Martini. The flavors were robust & delightful.
Everyone was amazing! Havent had such good quality food before. My personal favorite dish was the Yakatori Chicken Wings they were very juicy. Our Server, Pablo was very attentive to our needs and was very knowledgeable on the menu and suggestions. I will definitely be coming back here!
A time was had at Nami! I had one of the best girls night out that I’ve had in awhile. ✨ From beginning to end, the experience was phenomenal. We started off waiting at the bar and ordered our first set of drinks (the Blush—highly recommended for its smooth delicious taste). The bartender was attentive, funny and kind and unbothered by our cheeriness, which I loved. The vibes were all there. Music wasn’t so high that you couldn’t hear the person next to you, the lights were dimmed, but there was still enough brightness that you could revel in a good selfie and the spaciousness felt just about right because you weren’t on top of others having dinner. When we sat at our table the real fun began. Our waiter, Tyler, was phenomenal. Not only did he answer every single question we had (there were plenty) but he also gave us top notch recommendations that did NOT fail us. Everything we had was absolutely beyond amazing! Hats off to the chef because I’ve never had such mind blowing food and I’m a huge foodie! Tyler also indulged in all of our jokes and made some himself. Love a good waiter with a personality! The sushi was excellent, highly recommend the yellowtail, tuna and salmon. The Nami nuggets were incredibly flavorful! The Tuna Pizza was a DELIGHT. The salmon was soft and juicy and not a single piece was left on my plate. The ribeye had this exquisite taste and the sea bass was so tender. Oof! What a treat. We practically had half the menu and we do not regret a single thing! Dessert was also wonderful and there’s something beautiful about still having room for a sweet treat. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Nami because it’s worth the spend. The experience was top notch and I will be recommending it to all of my friends visiting Orlando!
I Candice recently celebrated my birthday at Nami in Orlando, and it was truly a fine dining experience at its best! Every dish was a masterpiece. I enjoyed the Chilean sea bass, paired with a rich 5-medley mushroom rice and tender, oversized asparagus draped in hollandaise sauce. My wife had the most flavorful, tender lamb chops, complemented by an elegant potato salad that was almost too beautiful to eat. For dessert, we were treated to a complimentary popcorn-flavored ice cream with candied popcorn and a miso whiskey-glazed caramel drizzle—a delightful and unique surprise. We also ordered the chocolate molten lava cake, perfectly dusted with matcha and served alongside chocolate crumbs and a creamy black sesame seed ice cream. The atmosphere was warm and moody, creating the perfect setting for a special evening. Nami exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an elevated dining experience in Orlando!
We had an amazing experience with the chef tasting menu. Typically I’m not one for fine dining - but they did the chefs tasting in a way that felt really intimate and personal. We were able to chat with the chef repeatedly through the meal and watch them prepare each course. Highly recommend.
It was our first time visiting for magical dining. We actually arrived an hour earlier than our scheduled reservation and they seated us immediately. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was superb! Katrina, our server provided detailed explanations of the menu and gave great recommendations. Even before we entered, Peter, the valet, welcomed us like we were old friends. He recommended Ana’s Cosmo, which was divine. The meal came in “waves” and each wave seemed interchangeable and complemented the previous one. We wanted for nothing the entire evening. Christopher, the general manager, was attentive and made us feel at home. Overall, it was a lovely evening and we will definitely return—only next time we will book a room at the Wave Hotel and make it a proper staycation.
Ok. So I had totally given up on the Wave and their best attempts at fine dining experiences. But Nami just made me a believer. Food: Exquisite Aesthetic: gorgeous. If you're an "architect nerd" check out the lighting & shadows. From the entry way through the restaurant they use shadows to set the vibe, and it's beautiful. Service: 5 star. If you were ever a server you appreciate the Details! They know the menu, they crumb the table, they change your place settings in between courses. Super Intentional. Amanda made our night, ask for her.
From the moment you pull up in valet , to being greeted by staff as you’re walking up , to the atmosphere , music , waiter’s & sommelier introducing themselves and guiding you in this amazing experience you’re about to have is so refreshing and elegant . Reservations open 7 days in advance only . This is my second time here and the experience was even better than the first . Edwin & Katrina were our waiters; they were attentive , knowledgeable, patient , super kind and very accommodating. They memorized our names and made my sister in law feel very special as it was her birthday . The unique designs will have you in awe, the music makes you feel inspired & the food will have you questioning how something so beautifully presented can taste so delicious. We opted in having multiple plates to share and try out as many things as we could . And they didn’t disappoint!
Undoubtedly, one of the best restaurants in Orlando. Incredible ambiance and delectable food. Highly recommend the Lobster, the Oysters and the Golden Rocher. There are plenty food options and will definitely go back to try more dishes. Had a wonderful experience celebrating grandma’s nameday thanks to Ally!💫We’ll never forget your kindness and grace! Thank you for making our night so special! 🥹✨🥂🩷🥰
Great restaurant! We came here for dinner after drinks at The Nectar Room -- no tables were available but we were able to get seats at the bar with no wait. Great upscale and relaxed vibe and very friendly service from the staff. Food and drinks were great -- highly recommend the bacon and Cedar from the cocktail menu!
Nami is 10/10 fantastic. All of the food was amazingly prepared and delicious. I don’t usually like seafood but honestly enjoyed the octopus and lobster donuts! The service matches the food in quality and attention. Matt and Kyle took care of every whim we had and didn’t even know we had. We will be coming back here again and again.
Blew my mind! What an amazing experience! Cal took such great care of us and guided us through the journey at Nami. He was so sweet to help us celebrate together and took good care of our 8 year old son! The food was beyond amazing! I literally don’t have words for how good the oysters and unagi were! Everything was perfect and had the perfect balance together. It was so nice to meet Chef Jason too! Thanks for coming over and checking on us. Congratulations on your amazing menu and restaurant! This meal at Nami will go into my permanent memory as one of the best meals of my life.
We chose Nami’s chef counter experience to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday, and it was truly unforgettable. Every dish was carefully crafted and absolutely incredible—thoughtful, beautiful, and bursting with flavor. But what made the night truly special was the care and attention the chef showed my daughter, making her feel seen, celebrated, and genuinely cherished. Watching her smile and feel so honored in that moment meant everything to us. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a meaningful experience and a beautiful memory we will treasure forever. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had.
We did the Chefs Counter with the base level wine pairing. It was absolutely incredible. We've done fancy prefix Chef menus many times and many restaurants (including Michelin stars), and this was definitively the best. Each plate had depths of flavor, but each was light and fun and unique. For instance, my wife and I are not fans of foie gras, but their happy foie was a perfect balance of flavors and textures that put a different take on it and made it delicious. Every plate was insanely good, and with 18 plates plus other things coming our way, we left full and happy. The staff and chefs were super nice and fun, David the sommelier was really cool and knowledgeable. We will definitely be doing this chef experience again, and most chef experiences we do are a one-and-done just to try it type of thing, this one is a must-do and must-do-again.
We had such an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. What really made the night special was Chef JB coming out to introduce himself. That personal touch meant so much and shows how much he cares about his guests. Pablo and Annie provided outstanding service. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. We will definitely be back!
This is the first time I visited this location, by reservation only. It requires formal attire. The food is very decent but a bit overpriced. The service is pretty good from valets to waiters. Nice atmosphere and hotel environment. I really love the deserts. The chicken nuggets were surprisingly good.

Food: As a complimentary appetizer we had crispy tofu with a flavorful dipping sauce. We ordered the tuna pizza which was delicious and the salmon hand rolls were ok. For our entree we had the BBQ Eel donburi and it was our main reason to come here. The eel was very tender with no bones, a great combination with the rice and cucumbers. The only criticism about this dish was the saltiness. Finally, for dessert we had the panna cotta and golden rocher. Both had fun and interactive introductions with great flavors. Service was excellent, Lauren was very friendly and attentive. The other servers made sure our waters were filled, table was clean and empty dishes were taken. The dining room was visually pleasing. Dimly lit with red Japanese maple trees among a wavy structure. The club music was off-putting and didn’t match the vibe for this Japanese based cuisine.
Overall its a gorgeous restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere and good food. Our servers and the restaurant manager were very kind and provided great recommendations and service. Only reason i am giving the service a 3 star is due to the one of the Host girls up front. She was rude when we checked in for our reservation and she was definitely not having a good day so it gave our evening a very distasteful start for a restaurant of this caliber.
So, okay, atmosphere is amazing. And staff is great! I would say first two is phenomenal! But. I didn't understand why is there such a hype about food. It's good food for sure, but I wouldn't call it something great or amazing. So, for me it's good place for sure, but if I need great food-ill go to other places. Again, thanks for AMAZING staff and service!

I went for dinner with my partner and the food was delicious but the service was extremely disappointing. We had 2 magical dining dinners and everything was delicious. The spicy tuna maki and tuna crudo were amazing. The salmon was raw which was unexpected but very flavorful. Now as for the service, our waiter Tyler did not take care of us at all. He was not personable and never checked on us to see how we were enjoying the food or drinks. He was dry and quick and I did not enjoy his service at all. The bad service did ruin the meal a bit but I tried to ignore it and enjoy the delicious food as much as I could. Definitely will be returning to try more menu items but I’m hoping the service will be better.

Id love to give them 5.Stars but our second visit there to get their ribeye steak fell flat or horribly wrong.. We were hoping for the same delicious steak.. but looks like they have a new cook possibly?? Steak had ZERO salt and was over 70% fat.. Im not sure how the chef missed sprinkling salt on my steak. 0_O I like to pay more because I EXPECT more.. Please pay attention to your food prep.. I told the server but he looked confused 😕 and asked if I wanted cooked longer..??? Im a cook, so I do expect some seasoning, so I asked the young male table helper to fetch me some salt. He kindly brought it a tiny bowl over of salt but to my surprise I also.had the "Bad" cut over 70% Fatty 😞...... NOTHING like oir 1st dinner here.. Even the Chilean sea bass had bits of blubber fat in it or.mabe it was under cooked.. My husband Bday dinner was not Up To Par... as I hoped it would be.. :( He requested me to cook the steak next year. With that said our check was close to $400 cause we like food.. and we Still plan on going back for the "good service"..becasue Peace of mind/ service is not an option.. the food is.
Went on 2/25/25, three diners. The place is ok, nothing spectacular, just ok. Table arrangement is a bit awkward for servers. All three of us did the prix fixe (I’m sure it has a different name, but that’s basically what it is), you get 3 waves plus dessert, for $75, good price, right? Not really. See, you get a taste of three dishes for both waves 1 and 2, but the entree, as it was explained to us, first very poorly by our waiter, then very sketchily by the manager, for that third wave all three of us had to share one entree, which ended up being a single uninspired medium sized ribeye (plus sides), for which they charged us an extra $60, for an expensive “premium protein”, I guess. I’d never seen that, you usually get your entree choice if each of you is paying for your full menu plus surcharge. Later, I overheard the waiter for the table next to us explain how it wasn’t a good value for groups to order that option because of this “rule”. If I had gone a la carte maybe I’d be happy, but sadly, that was my experience. Some dishes were pretty good, thus the 2 stars, but I’m not coming back and I can’t recommend. Much better places to visit without all that nonsense.
I would rate 0 if I could. I chose Nami while I was in Orlando with my girlfriend, to celebrate our new engagement. I chose them specifically because they stayed open until 11pm on Thursday which was also Thanksgiving. I reached out to verify too. After several communications with the restaurant, confirming the reservation, we were excited about our evening. After communicating that we would be 20 minutes late, 9:20pm, the "manager" called to tell us that they decided to close early. It completely ruined our engagement celebration. I understand not wanting to stay open if it's slow, and a holiday, but don't confirm multiple times and then go back on your word. Thumbs way down!!!
We went to this restaurant for our anniversary, and they knew it, they even congratulated us when we arrived, which was a nice touch. It was me, my husband, and our son. I ordered my meal, but my husband’s dish didn’t come for about half an hour. By the time it finally arrived, I was already full. My husband ended up eating part of my food while waiting, and by then neither of us had much appetite left. We told them we didn’t want the food anymore, but they said it was “almost ready.” Ten minutes later, it still hadn’t come. When we repeated that we didn’t want it, they insisted on boxing it up for us but really, who wants to eat steak reheated the next day? Later, they sent us a $50 gift card as an apology, but honestly, that didn’t feel right. I would’ve preferred a sincere apology or at least for them to take the uneaten food off the bill, instead of offering a gift card to make us come back. The service was also poor. Our waiter barely checked on us, and my husband had to ask three times for his drink, finally getting help from other servers. For such a well-known restaurant, the service was shockingly inattentive. As for the food, it was overly sweet. I could literally taste sugar in my dish. Overall, the food was just okay, definitely not worth the hype or the price. We left disappointed and regretted choosing this place for our anniversary.
