Habit, Burger and grill was a unique place for my wife and I to stop at. We are over the road truck drivers waiting to pick up a load and we were craving a burger. We thought about going to In-N-Out but we also know that is traditional fast food. We decided to go to habit Burger due to good reviews on their food. The food that we received was fresh and moderately hot. It really wasn't much difference compared to your other Burger chains except for the fact of the avocado fries. Now those were something special. The service was lackluster for someone who just takes your order and then throws your food on the counter and calls your name. The restaurant itself was moderately clean with limited noise. The restaurant was set in a strange area. Near office buildings and next to a noodle place. The only complaint we have is the bathroom was absolutely disgusting in the restroom. My wife went in there and was absolutely appalled by the mess that was on the floor and elsewhere in the bathroom. Habit Burger that's one thing that you need to address and keep up with because that's a huge turn off to a customer. It makes you wonder what your kitchen looks like.

Took 18mins from order to get my food, place didn't seem to be busy but food is not coming out fast. Saw one of the staff handling sweet potatoes fries with no gloves

Habit makes a very disappointing veggie burger, which is a premade, frozen patty, not made in house, comes out super greasy, an unfortunate veggie burger that was dripping in oil and lacking freshness. If I wanted a premade mass produced gross frozen veggie patty, I could go to the supermarket and make it myself.

Used to love this place. Don’t even get one small ranch with an order of fries. Paid for one and only got a small. I totally get having to pay for an extra. The music so soooo loud couldn’t even have a conversation. Most likely won’t go back.

Did not complete order correctly....hire folks that understand English. WON'T BUY AGAIN. Can't even contact anyone for refund just send a email that doesn't correct time wasted for lunch and now have no food.

Habit used to be a great place to eat now its horrible salads are no longer tossed dry chicken sandwich is now a typical sandwich a lady at the cash register seems like she hates her job and if you want xtra ranch is $.65 for 2 Oz cup lol last time i visit habit in oxnard

Ordered a plain cheeseburger, no ketchup for my kid and it showed up with ketchup. She took it from me and threw it directly in the trash which just seems so wasteful rather than just letting us keep it in case someone wanted to eat it. Trust that I did not fiendishly plan for the burger to be made with ketchup just to scam the store out of a free burger... why toss it in the garbage rather than seeing if one of us would eat it? We had spent more than $50 total for 3 adults and 2 kids, so it's not like we only ordered one thing secretly hoping it would be wrong so we could get a free second thing. When we finally got a remade burger, it came out looking like this with a very unappetizing bun. My own burger was also made incorrectly but I didn't bother sending it back, and the other food was not up to taste standards of other Habit locations we've been to.

Ordered two double chars with cheese for take-out. Was eating my burger at home and chewed on something that was not edible. Took out a piece of some sort of packaging paper from the inside of my burger that was blackened. At first I thought it was an onion but I know it was not food because two of its edges were perfectly cut to a corner. Imagine eating your burger happily then come to find such a thing in your food. It ruined my experience. Will not be returning to this establishment for a long while. I don’t know what else might have been inside that thing. Bleh.

What happened to this place?! Who is running the kitchen?! Maybe they thought I would add dressing to my salad and not notice it was bad?! My salad has no dressing, why is it greasy, slimmy and yellow?!
