Traditional Chinese bar/restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious, practically cooked to order. The place is an old bar that retains its tavern feel but with Chinese decor. The service is quick and efficient. I recommend saving room for dessert and trying the fried walnuts with honey 👌🏻. The white spring roll and the eggplant were a real find.

To say the service is wonderful is an understatement. The food is high quality; it doesn't leave you feeling greasy or stuffed immediately. The portions are a good size, allowing you to order several things without feeling overly full, and you certainly won't leave anything on your plate. I would definitely go back, and I encourage you to visit if you haven't already. Just be sure to call ahead; it's small and usually busy.

In a city with a severe lack of international cuisine, Bar Goroabe is a welcome standout. While it looks like any corner local bar, it is a fabulous Chinese restaurant. The names of the dishes are mostly made up since there is often no Spanish equivalant word; therefore, ask for recommendations and be pleasantly surprised. The ingredients in the food are fresh tasting--nothing tastes like it is purchased from a distributer. The service is impeccable. It is hard for me to give 5 stars to a Chinese restaurant but we can't resist going back over and over again.

Buena comida china en un bar de toda la vida de Pamplona. A mí personalmente no me apasiona pero encuentro que tiene un poco mejor calidad que otros. Un descubrimiento para ir de vez en cuando. Ojo con las cantidades: si pides muchos platos y te llenas, es comida más pesada de digerir.

En cuanto a la comida, he de decir que todo lo que pedimos estaba muy bueno. Desde hace varios años preparan comida China tradicional muy sabrosa. Pedimos sopa de la casa con fideos, verduras y ternera, rollizos blancos rellenos de verduras, pollo frito con verduras y ere nenas Chinas. Por otro lado, la comida es muy aceitosa y cuesta digerirlo todo. El restaurante, en general está bastante dejado. Tiene detalles de apañaos mal hechos. Está sucio y decadente. Como experiencia mola mucho pero no volvería. El trato fue muy bueno. Son muy amables y simpáticos.

The Asian food was very good, the Western food quite mediocre. The service we received seemed to lack both time and enthusiasm. The menu was poorly described, lacking ingredients. The rice was golden. We ordered four different types of rice, and the waitress described them all as containing everything. Either they were unmotivated or having a bad day.

We ordered, as we usually do, to take out. Our favorites were 3-delight rice, wok-fried beef with potatoes, and the house roll (which isn't fried). They have many other delicious dishes. We've also eaten there a few times. The place is simple, but the service is always very pleasant.

I was brought here by a very good friend of mine, we both lived in China above 7Y and we can definitely say that flavour remind us to China. Staff very friendly and attentive, a bit pricey but the rest is Ok. We do recommend this place.

Fuimos porque nos dijeron que era el mejor chino de pamplona...ni de lejos es el mejor. La comida estaba bien, pero varios platos muy grasientos y sin sabor. Que decir del sitio...un bar bastante cutre y con suciedad por todas las esquinas. No creo que volvamos ninguno de los 12 que fuimos.

The food tastes good, but it has SO MUCH oil… it's excessive. It's even more noticeable when it's delivered in Tupperware containers; you can see an incredible amount of oil. It's a shame because it tastes good, but it's very heavy and unpleasant.

Review by a disillusioned young woman: The experience was quite bad from the start. Upon arrival, the person in charge didn't even speak to me, completely ignoring me. I had to wait quite a while without anyone from the establishment bothering to attend to me, until finally that same person, who had previously ignored me, appeared to give me the order I had come to pick up. As for the food, it simply wasn't up to par. The spring roll was acceptable, but the rest was Asian food "for Europeans," lacking any kind of authentic Chinese flavor. Between the poor service and the mediocre quality of the dishes, this place doesn't deserve another chance. I don't recommend it.
