It was my first time visiting Applebee's, and in my opinion, I got a very good impression of the place. The food was excellent, the service was quite fast, and I felt like they were attentive to my needs the whole time. The atmosphere was very calm and pleasant, and the place is spacious. I don't know if I happened to go on a special day for them, but if this place is always like this, they deserve my 5 stars and more.

The Applebee’s in Clifton service is unmatched! The managers Marina and Emily are amazing and attentive to their guest. I’ve never experience service like this in any other Applebees. Not to mention the food is amazing!!!

The food here was excellent and the service was wonderful. Great spot to grab a bite to eat before the movies. It’s right near the AMC Clifton. We got the Chicken Alfredo pasta and Cajun salmon and both were made perfectly. I also love the full rack of ribs here and the southwest chicken salad.

Hey, absolutely had a blast here last night. My family and I went out for my birthday and it was a really good time. It was on a Friday night with seven people. We were seated immediately so that was great, I know it's not always going to be like that but I definitely appreciated it. Our server was beyond excellent, super friendly and super funny. Really swell guy. Our food was perfect as well, we got everything that we had ordered and some more. Everyone enjoyed their meal. So that was delightful. The prices were fair too, could have been better but unfortunately not much we can do about that. But we spent about $170 on food and non-alcoholic drinks for seven people. Five adults and two kids. The atmosphere was very nice. Nothing abruptive. Our table and seats were clean too. Just for reference, we all got burgers and a chicken sandwich. The burgers were from the 2 for 26 menu and chicken sandwich was something separate. Food was excellent and are good portion sizes for the adults. French fries are delicious. It is very easy to get to this Applebee's location. It is right off the highway in Rt3. However, parking was a bit difficult and the entrance to the restaurant needs to be much clearer/visible. Otherwise, I definitely recommend this location.

I love Applebees Grill and Bar in Clifton. I stop in there once in a while in the afternoons for appetizers and drinks. I love the artichoke cheese dip with chips. My fave. Large bar, great bartenders, good service and chill atmosphere. Plenty of great seating areas and large screens for watching sports. Go and have great food and a fun lively time. Singles, couples, families, it’s all good. There is an outdoor covered seating area as well. A great place to relax and have good eats. Also it is across from the AMC Movie Theatre so it's great for after movie or before movie eats. Lots of free parking.

The welcoming atmosphere made it a perfect spot for a casual night out with friends.The service was exceptional. I have eaten here many times and have no complaints. The food is delicious and affordable. There are also combo options to choose from. The wait for the food was never too long. The serving staff are happy to help and never had a problem taking my order. It's in a great location right next to the movie theatre as well. Recommend.

All I can say is 2for$25! I saw the commercial in the morning my wife who really isn't a fan of Applebee's said the hell with it let's go try it. We were pleasantly surprised. The food arrived in a timely manner HOT full of flavor the drinks were flavorful and not watered down and our server Douglas constantly checked on us. Our bill was less than $42. After a hockey game my friends and I went to the Clifton applebees. It was the only thing open in the area. The waiter at this location was fantastic, attentive to our needs and did a great job at bringing the food out in a timely manner. The food was cooked perfect. This location had a 20 minute wait time to get a table. I have never been to an applebees with a wait, but it was worth the wait. Based on the staff that seated us to waiter this location deserves a great review.

Applebees was pretty good. Our waiter was very attentive, constantly asking if we needed anything. My bacon cheeseburger was great! The fries are shoestring and were super hot out of the fryer! They also had the skin on them, could a been fresh cut! The spinach artichoke dip was good but the chips were kinda stale. The atmosphere is awesome, staff is great. Plenty of TVs to watch sports! I’ll be back!

Not gonna lie here. I never ate or ever visited at an applebees in 26 years of my life. However I saw the new OM cheeseburger on social media. It looked scrumptious and decided to order it. Supposedly, the cheese is supposed to submerged and sandwiched between the fries and the cheeseburger from the bottom of the tray. Creating a cheese pull when you pick up your burger. But as it seemed like when I unxboxed my tray. It was just an burger cut in half and the fries came In a separate container. And they also gave me a cold glob of cheese mix as also in a small separate. Which unfornately I had to microwave at my own domicile just so I can put on my burger. Even though the burger was good to say the least, You would probably be better off spending your 12 dollars on mcdonald's instead. Nice staff though by the way.

Waited close to 15 nins for 2 waters. Alot of teens more interested gossiping at the hostess stand. Server never checked on us. Never came back. Good thing we were able to pay at the table.. 5 ppl standing at hostess station as we left.and it was like we were invisible. The food was on point though!

OK place. Staff can be hit or miss. Food is OK given it's pricing. Usually packed on the weekends. My only issue was a rude Spanish old lady who always kept seating us in a 2 seat table as opposed to a nice booth. Place wasn't even packed. She did this on two different visits. Why?

Only stayed because we were so hungry. Very dirty feeling walking in. Waitresses looked really sloppy. Had to wait a good 10 minutes for someone to come over. Could tell who the manager was. Was dressed very well. Surprised the place looked and felt like that. Especially how the waitresses looked. Sorry, but for the money and the experience I would rather go elsewhere where.

I haven't been here in probably 7 years cuz its just always mediocre. I love the chicken wonton tacos though so I figured I'd come get those. It's a Tuesday night pretty empty parking lot and it's 7 pm. I asked for a booth and there's so many available. The person seating says they are for larger parties even tho the ones occupied have 2 people in them. We are 2 people he says they've been here since the morning.... what.... its 7 pm. So we end up settling for this tiny little table in the darkest area of the restaurant. I enjoy a dim light but the lights might as well be off cuz I have to use my flashlight to see this menu even with my glasses on. Then the host walks 2 people over to the booth that I asked for amd then 4 more times while we were there which is weird and rude as hell. Anyways.... come back for what?? First time at this location. We were a party of 14 who had called before to ask if we could still be seated since it was around 11:30pm and they closed at 1am. They told us we could so we arrived at around 12 am and right off the bat the greater was very rude to all of us. She was an older woman with glasses. She told us to sit down while she gets the table ready. Then comes back and tell us “hurry up”. It was in such a rude disrespectful tone we were all taken aback. It really ruined the mood but the servers were fast and very patient with such a big table. Overall don’t think we will come back after this horrible experience.

The food was terrible. We ordered two steaks medium well. The steaks arrived , completely burned on the outside. And not cooked at all on the inside. When i cut the steaks, blood ran out all over my plate. I complained to the manager. Who simply did not care. This was the worst meal i have ever had in a restaurant.

My friend and I placed a to-go order late at night. After ordering two classic bacon cheeseburgers and drinks, we were subjected to hostile behavior from several female employees, including verbal insults in Spanish as we were leaving. I overheard one of them say “que se vetan y nunca regresan” behind our backs, so I calmly approached her outside and asked if there was an issue. Rather than de-escalate, she ignored me, smirked, and dismissed me with a hand gesture. When we opened our to-go bag, we discovered disturbing drawings and inappropriate writing inside the bag (photos attached). One of my friends consumed food from this first bag before we realized what was written, and she later became ill with nausea the next day. We immediately reported this to the assistant manager, Martin, who refunded our order, remade our food himself, and admitted that the first bag might have been tampered with. He also advised us not to eat from it. This was not only humiliating but also a serious food safety concern. Tampering with a customer’s food poses a public health risk and is completely unacceptable.

On Saturday I went with my mom to eat we used to go a lot because we liked the food very much we order our favorite salad (oriental salad) and we found an insect on the salad. Never coming back again. The Manager was not as generous as he should have been, he just came and apologized and only said that they were going to eliminate the salad and we still had to pay for the rest of the food we ordered that we didn't even finish it. I work in a warehouse that sells vegetables and the insect that was in the salad is the same that appears in the vegetables here which indicates that they do not wash the vegetables they cut.

Came here just for dessert. We ordered two lava cakes, and in the picture attached, is how the server brought them to us. The girl that served us was nice and polite, but certainly not attentive. We waited approximately 10 min before someone even came over to the table, and this was at 930, so its not like it was dinner rush. It was nice to have the option to pay online with the QR code on the table, definitely eliminated extra minutes waiting on someone to come back to the table. We like applebees, but definitely was not a pleasant experience, this time.
