My husband and I had Valentine's dinner at the lodge. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. We didn't fancy the red velvet cake but the cinnamon apple bread pudding was a win.

I had the most amazing experience at The Lodge! Their manager Natara gave my coworker and I the most welcoming experience ever! The service was impeccable, the food was full of flavor, its presentation even better and the atmosphere fits the name. Ryan was our bartender and he was very attentive to us. I’m sure to be a regular customer this summer!

We enjoyed our last meal at the Lodge and decided to come back for Burger Night. The burgers were delicious. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The Million dollar bacon took our burgers to the next level. We will be back and next we want to try Pasta night! 🥰

Great to have a nicer place in Pasadena. Had the short ribs and they were cooked to perfection. All of the dishes were spot on. Compliments to the Chef. Thanks for a great dinner. The prices reflect the portions and the quality.

Food was amazing. The braised beef short ribs pulled apart with a fork. The apple cinnamon bread pudding was delicious. Server was attentive and friendly.

Last evening an old friend and I visited The Lodge in Pasadena for the first time. Beautiful first impression! We sat at the bar and Olivia our bartender was a wealth of information; everything from the history of the building to information on its sister stores in Annapolis and Gambrills. We both ordered the house Cab and it must’ve been good because we had a couple each. My partner chose Crab Dip (served with naan chips) for starters and we nearly licked the bowl. We were hungry! For dinner we jumped on the braised beef short ribs with colorful roasted vegetables along with butter whipped potatoes and fried onions atop. Everything you could want! The other entree was a special for the evening; surf & turf with lobster tail and accompanying filet served with scalloped potatoes and steamed seasonal asparagus. The servings were hearty and a doggy bag came home because who wants to waste that feast! Lovely presentation and atmosphere with friendly, knowledgeable service will keep people coming back. Nice touch with Richard the Bar Manager checking in to see how things were going. Excellent, Richard, excellent 👌🏼

Our Sunday brunch experience was delightful and 100% worth the money. It was my first time here and we came as a group of 6. Our reservation process was easy, the seating was ample, the environment was beautiful. I'm happy to say that we got far more value than what we paid. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the portions were appropriate. The staff was awesome. Our waitress, Heaven, was a complete gem. She was fun, engaging, full of life, and a legitimate reason to come back! the spread was great too! So many places focus on breakfast items when it comes to brunch but the lodge handles lunch and breakfast so very well. The raw bar was amazing the mimosas were awesome! We heard that the dinner menu is great and we cannot wait to come back! I will recommend this place to anyone and happily bring family here. Absolutely amazing.

Every thing was super yummy! Had the Chesapeake Pasta & Snake Bite Pasta. Both were excellent. I loved the rolls with the chive butter. Amanda was an excellent server and on the ball and even answered all my crazy questions! My only slight complaint would be the fried lobster tail was a tad chewy. We will be back!

It was our first time at The Lodge and definitely won't be our last. We walked in and were greeted by Richard. He gave us a tour of the place. It's beautiful inside and out! We went to the back patio where we chose to sit at a table with a fire, and it was perfect. Our server Colleen greeted us and gave us water when we sat down. She explained what the popular dishes are and told us about their specials. We started with the crab dip, which was incredible. We got the Chesapeake Pasta and Braised Short Rib and both were absolutely delicious. We each had dessert - peanut butter pie and the flourless chocolate torte and they were fantastic. We will certainly be back! Thank you for a lovely evening!

If you're seeking an exceptional dining experience in Pasadena, look no further than The Lodge. This upscale rustic restaurant offers a warm, cozy atmosphere paired with a menu that highlights locally sourced, farm-fresh ingredients. They excel in delivering a diverse range of dishes that cater to various palates. My husband ate the French Onion Soup with Shrimp & Grits and I had the Mediterranean Salad with Vegetable Risotto… on top of that, we both ordered the Snakbite Pasta because surprise, Wednesday is half off pasta day- we had to try it! We asked to be sat on the patio and we chose the couch directly in front of the fireplace- super romantic and beautiful. Our server, Sarah, was SPECTACULAR. She made date night over the top amazing. Her knowledge on the menu and personality added tremendously to our experience. We will ask for her again next time (we will be back soon)! The other wait staff, including the manager, were all extremely pleasant as well. We felt like family. The overall charm of this gem exceeded our expectations for a Pasadena restaurant.

It was my first time in The Lodge and I had a great experience. The pizza was delicious and the drinks amazing. I loved they have happy hour even on weekends. I hope they get a lot of customers so they stay around longer.

Stephanie was an awesome server! She gave great recommendations on our lunch as well as told us all about their specials for the day. She was very friendly and personable. The facilities was extremely clean and all of the servers that were on the first shift was pretty awesome! Overall great dining experience. My dish was flavorful and my daughter stated her crab cakes were pretty tasty. Wish I had photos, sorry!

We have visited The Lodge several times since it opened. We are extremely happy to have the Lodge so close. We meet friends for Happy Hour and stay for dinner. The bar is comfortable and inviting, a wonderful seating area with a fireplace. We have always been pleased with the food. It is obvious the chef takes the time to make every plate special and ensures a quality meal. The staff is always pleasant and friendly, completing the fine dining experience.

Service by Amanda on Thanksgiving was awesome!! The place was packed, but she made sure to keep our drinks coming without having us wait. Loved the buffet, and the decorations were very nice. 🦃😎

Extremely grateful for this new local restaurant and addition to the amazing Lakeshore community! The service by Grace was awesome, she really looked out for me with my dairy allergy and recommended a great espresso martini which I throughly enjoyed. I adored their Gathering Hour specials. I sat at the bar after work and was able to relax in peace. I’d love to see more options for appetizers or small bites. However, amazing ambiance and I look forward to seeing how this restaurant continues to evolve and flourish.

We came here tonight 29 December 2025 to try out somewhere new for our date night. Our server was awesome, I just didn't catch his name. We started out with some biscuits that were so good and honestly if I had more of them, they would have given Texas Roadhouse a run for their money. We got the crab dip as an appetizer which was lit on fire in front of us and was very good with the dippers it gets served with. I got the fish sandwich with the lemon parsley potatoes and it was a solid 9/10, docking one point because i wish the portion size was a little bigger. My fiance got the butcher of the week that was a ribeye over rice which was good, just a tad salty. We finished out with the sorbet which I really enjoyed. I definitely think we will be returning!

Our experiences at the Lodge Restaurant in Pasadena have exceeded our expectations. The staff/servers are polite, welcoming and very helpful. John welcomed us and spoke with us about special upcoming dining events that we plan to try. The menu items we've chosen were all very good. The lodge theme decor is beautiful and classy. We have reservations for Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve that we're looking to!

What a great way to spend Thanksgiving! Huge thanks to Amanda, she was wonderful and made sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed! We have spent multiple holidays here so highly recommend. Happy Thanksgiving!

We planned a small teacher back to school happy hour and everything was fantastic from start to finish. Joell the GM was great at communicating with scheduling and planning. Sabrina was our server and was very attentive and friendly. She stayed on top of beverages and clearing the table when we were ready for entrees. The food coming out of the kitchen from Chef Rob was great! Quick and delicious. We sat on the back patio and were relaxed and enjoyed our time. We already have chatted about returning in the fall. Great job Lodge Pasadena!

Amanda was amazing!!! We ordered plenty of drinks and she was on it. Grabbed us everything we needed in such a timely manner. Food was amazing as always. Drinks are always great. Will definitely be back and ask for her again. Some of the best service I have ever had at any restaurant.

Service was great! Staff is friendly and engaged. Our server, Hailey was a delight! The boast farm to table here, but it's obvious not all that way, as expected some of the children items like chicken tenders were obviously not local farm delivered. I had lamb and there was no reason to believe it wasn't! Overall the entrees were very good! Crab dip was good and arrived on fire! Atmosphere is very good! Will visit again.for sure!

Enjoyed the lodge feel. Waitress was very accommodating. We're a little picky so gave the food a 4. Overall good experience would recommend trying.

I though it was gona be a more fancy place but it was more casual. We dressed up but we saw people show up in te shirts and shorts so we felt over dressed. Could of been our fault. Drinks great. Salmon on the small size. Front desk was amazing. Our server was great.

Nice remodel! Excellent service, food was great. Small portion size on the calamari... For the price ($20+) I expected more. It was delicious, though, truly top notch. Scallops were perfect. The shrimp and grits flavorful. Wine choices were adequate for dinner.

The ambiance is amazing. The look is refreshing and brings hope to upscaling Pasadena. Rustic, sophisticated, serious hunter log cabin vibes with comical notes of dapper animals in stoic mural paintings. Our Waitress (Stephanie) was terrific, and we were told she was also the Bartender, so to have the great service we did is commendable. With no reservations, we walked in feeling underdressed at first, but we're quickly made at ease with others in the back dressed the same way; maybe that's why we were seated back there. Haha, thank you! I would suggest anyone going, to be dressed upscale casual up to business, and then, of course for special events, go all out! So now you may be wondering why the 4 stars opposed to 5... The food is always my heaviest weighted category. As you see in the pictures, the food is beautifully presented and portioned. The price is slightly high, but I'm only talking about a couple of dollars for the non-Happy Hour drinks and main dishes, nothing to break the bank though. However, everyone's food came out piping hot except my dish. Being one of the more expensive items on the menu (Bone-in braised lamb), I would have expected it to be the same as the others, if not somehow better. The taste was great, but the temperature was like it had been sitting on the pass for a while. The inside was warm, but the surface was slightly cool. Please don't let that last part sway you from going, this place has real potential and I bet something happened outside of the norm to cause my dish to be cool. To end on a high note, that drink was absolutely amazing; one or two more cherries would be nice. Added the Kid's menu, post decorations from our kiddo of course.

I'm glad I got a reservation they were packed. It's great what they did inside. It looks incredible. The menu was great to see, not your standard Pasadena Fare. We ordered the MD Crab and fried lobster appetizers, not a huge fan of the lobster, and there was not much taste. On the other hand, I got the braised lamb....... incredible seriously, great. My wife got the Crab Cakes, I am assuming they were broiled with a bread crust? It did not seem to have much flavor. Overall, for the cost, I was not impressed overall, but I will be back.

Ok, first of all....the bear. If you want to give your paying guests a "lodge" experience, you fell short for this patron. It felt juvenile and frat-like. The food was ok. The drinks were ok. I expected a better beer menu. The outside did have a working fireplace, which was the best part of the entire experience. I probably would not return, nor recommend.

Party of 6 crammed in a wall table, with reservations. The soft drinks were from a can! I most definitely expect fountain soft drinks. The biscuits were brought out after our food. The whipped buttered potatos tasted like instant. The fries were very good. They forgot my tomato on my burger. And the chicken pot pie we sent back.

Went for lunch on Valentine's Day. They didn't seem too busy but we choose to sit in the bar area to watch the Olympics. Good was pretty good but just had a burger. But they seemed like they didn't have enough help and it was very slow service.

I have been here before and enjoyed the menu items however, tonight was not a good experience. My husband had the Chesapeake pasta dish and said it was very good. Our server, Torrie, was amazing. She gave us great information, was sweet as could be and polite as well. I ordered the Salmon over mashed potatoes. When the Salmon arrived, I picked up a bite from one side and it was very raw. I tried the other side and the middle and it was just as raw. I called Torrie over and she took it back to the kitchen. A woman, possibly manager came over and said she saw what I was talking about but did let me know that everything they make is sushi grade. I explained that I don't eat sushi with raw fish, and she understood. Another server came over and brought me a new Salmon. When I took the first piece, it was definitely cooked well however it was drowning in salt. I was sad at the thought but would not order anything else. The Lodge was nice enough to take the meal off of my bill but I am slightly concerned that returned items are frowned upon by the chef.

I don’t usually leave a review unless its either really good or really bad. The service was ok. We had a big table so I can understand a little frustration from a server and don’t want to hold it over her head but she did make it obvious at certain points that she didn’t enjoy having a big table. The food was terrible. I ordered the Chesapeake Pasta and it had zero flavor. I mean I think they just added some heavy cream to the top of the pasta to make the cream sauce and left out any kind of seasoning. My husbands steak had a gray ish color to it. The Mac and cheese also tasted like nothing - just a little salt could go a long way. My husband asked for his coke refilled and they charged him for each refill but he took it to the front where they said refills should be free. Anyways just wanted to leave a little recommendation to season the food sometimes. For that price we should have enjoyed our food.

Last night was our third time at The Lodge, and unfortunately I’m not sure we’ll be back. Our first visit during the soft opening was phenomenal. We had the prime rib, the lamb shank, great artisan drinks, and wonderful service. The place was packed and the atmosphere was elevated and exciting. When we returned a couple months later with friends, we still enjoyed the food (the short rib pizza was great) and figured the quiet mid-week crowd was just an off night. We went again last night though, and were really disappointed to see how much has changed. The elevated dishes we loved (the lamb and prime rib) are gone, and the menu now leans heavily toward handhelds and more casual options. We even made a reservation because OpenTable showed limited times, but when we arrived, the lobby and host stand were empty. We had to flag someone down to be seated in a half-full restaurant, waited for a table to be cleaned, and then waited (for a strangely long time considering how slow it was) for a server to come over. The drinks we ordered were excellent, but the experience and limited menu felt so different from what we were expecting, we left without ordering food and went somewhere else. I’m not sure what The Lodge is trying to be now. Adjusting based on feedback makes sense, but shifting the entire environment to something more casual and sports-centered feels odd, especially considering they’re now essentially offering the same type of food that The Greene Turtle did in the same space (and who, it has to be said, didn’t survive there). When we first came, the prices were higher than expected, but the elevated menu and overall experience were worth it since it was something you used to have to leave town for, and it filled a gap locally. Without that, there’s nothing that really sets The Lodge apart anymore, and I’m not sure why someone would choose this menu over the many comparable (and more affordable) options nearby. I understand the goal of being more relevant to the area, but it feels like they lost what made the restaurant special in the first place. I really hope they find their footing again.

First off, our server Kristlynn was excellent! She was attentive and friendly. When it comes to the food, I ordered the Branzino and Brussels sprouts. The first order of branzino was a bit undercooked, it wasn’t the bloodline of the fish— the meat in the middle was clear. When they recooked the meal, it was flaky and perfect except now it was beyond salty. Also… it’s hard to eat Brussels sprouts when it is drowning in sauce and bacon bits. It was not appetizing at all. Did not finish both meals :/

M
Marlene Sawyer

I think we had a waitress-in-training, although the two who serviced us never said so. I hope service improves as we had very long wait times till they reappeared! Meals were subpar…crab cakes tasted like they were store bought and full of bread (where’s the crab meat?) Lasagna noodles were not cooked and crunched. Come on Lodge, you can do better…there’s a whole lot of competition serving Excellent meals in Pasadena… don’t disappoint us!

Visited the Lodge to celebrate my father's birthday on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was not very busy. Food was fine, but I am not in a hurry to return for several reasons. My mom received the wrong order. To be fair to the wait staff, the waitress did take it off the bill and they expedited the correct order, but we had already waited so long for the food that another 10 minutes was excessive. The vegetables that came with my meal were cold. I asked for them to be reheated and they came back warm, but still cool in the center. It was not a busy night and the food took a very long time to come out. We also waited a very long time for the check and for to go boxes and had to ask other wait staff, not our regular waitress, for the check. The waitress was not able to answer many questions about the menu or beverages. She was not able to name any draft beers, which is really the bare minimum of service at an upscale restaurant. There is a credit card surcharge at this restaurant, which is becoming more common at restaurants, but they also charge the credit card surcharge when you use their gift cards AND they charge the processing fee when you buy the gift cards. How much more money do they expect to squeeze out of their customers? Their receipts are also misleading. The line item for "subtotal" also includes the sales tax and the liquor tax. A true subtotal does not include tax. This can be misleading to customers and can inflate the tip when the service is...not great. To summarize...food was fine, service was not great, business practices seem shady. All in all, no need to return here. Go to Two Rivers or Stoney Creek Inn instead.

Dined in with 5 others on Wednesday evening around 6:30, everyone including our server was very welcoming and the ambiance is gorgeous.Didn’t really start having any problems until we came to ordering. My mom was trying to order a cocktail because they all sounded super yummy but she just didn’t know which one would be the right one for her.I work in the service industry and usually that is an opportunity to upsell your table, and maybe teach the guest something they never knew for the future.instead she was very cold and short with her answers which threw her and the rest of the table off.she orders an irish coffee just for her to come to the table 30 minutes after it was ordered saying you don’t have it.she would come and grab things or set things on the table reaching over us before using her voice. gratuity was added obviously for being a bigger party, but if the manager was checking on tables while they were eating instead of after their visit, we probably wouldn’t have left as upset last night. Will definitely come back to try the bar area because the food and the master of pumpkins cocktail was yummy!!

We usually love burger night. Something was up last night. Both our burgers were so salty that we could not finish and enjoy them. Very disappointing. We had 2 different burgers so it wasn't sauce. It was in the meat prep. We let the waiter know when we paid so that he could share this w the kitchen

This place prides itself on Farm to table first of all. The atmosphere is fine, inviting place. We started with the charbroiled Brussels sprouts, very good. Entrees, snake bite pasta and braised short rib. They have four different offerings on the menu for the short rib, so you would think great. NOT! Short rib tasted like a pot roast that sat all day on crockpot water. Mashed potatoes served with it, bland and boring. The diced squash was a huge miss. Snake bite pasta tasted like jarred sauce and shrimp was frozen for sure, chicken was definitely from a bag and the sausage was probably sourced from Costco. The pasta was no doubt frozen and or bagged. Not to mention the wife bit down on what looked like small pieces of bone in the short rib/pot roast, and when we told the waiter this, he just said “oh” and asked if we wanted boxes. Hell if that would have happened at Texas Roadhouse they would have taken the meal off the bill and gave you a gift card. Unfortunately this place is not somewhere we would ever go again. If you want to go to a nice place in this area, go to Two Rivers and you wont be disappointed. Final note; meal was $120, with 1 glass of wine, 1 beer and the Brussel sprout appetizer.

G
Gary Rice

How you not have a soda gun and offer free refills? With these prices are you kidding me? They offer you canned Coke products (can wasnt even cold) over ice. The complimentary water wasnt even cold and didnt have ice. The Blackwell Barn and Lodge in gambrills (same parent company) does all of this so it makes no sense. If it wasnt for corporate greed this place would be fine. Luckily our waitress was super nice and let us know before hand and also shared our sentiments at how ridiculous it was. The bar doesn't even have a soda gun they use cans also, so if you order a jack and coke you run the risk of getting a half opened one thats flat because no ones ordered one in awhile. Corporate change your ways youre definitely making money, quit being greedy.

The Lodge Pasadena looked like a neat place. So we decided to check it out. As we first walked in, it was a party easy to get in with my chair. After we entered, we stood at the hosted stand to be seated. We were waiting for someone for a couple of minutes, and nobody came around, so we started looking around (you can't see the restaurant from the hostess stand). After clearly being avoided, by the staff (bar tender, hostess, waitress) We said something to a waitress back by the kitchen folding silverware about getting seated, another waitress was quick to tell us they were closed. We had gotten there a little after 8:45pm or so and went looking for someone after waiting 5min or so and found the waitress 10 till 9pm (waitress that told us they were closed) after i had came up and said you're closed? she had proceeded to say the restaurant was open till 10pm but the kitchen closes at 9pm by this time it was 8:58pm and told us if we could pick something in the next minutes or two we could get some food (we have not even seen a menu or even came close to being seated yet) I obviously said no thank you and left. Not a good look The Lodge Pasadena

Was super excited to try this place, but left disappointed. The food , New York strip , buffalo pizza and children’s pasta came out ice cold after about an hour wait. We dined with a toddler who was forced to eat cold pasta and our waitress only checked up on us maybe twice. Just a terrible experience , with terrible service. Oh, and the table wasn’t cleaned and we sat with dirty dishes in I’ll we left ( approx 25 minutes ) after we finished. Do better “lodge “. Environment is cozy and love the fireplace, establishment has a lot of potential.

Visited this location for the first time in which it was predominantly of a specific group that was dining in and upon walking in we were looked at by the other guest as if we did not belong. Our waiter was amazing as well as the manger. Food service was extremely slow for removing used plates and the wait time for our entrees. The food was ok. We unfortunately won’t come back to this location.

g

Very disappointing after we sat down it took our waiter 20 minutes to get to our table we ordered our drinks and our food at the same time. A full hour went by before our waiter came back up and our food arrived. And when my food did arrive my steak was colder then room temperature. I then asked for a manager five times and no one had came up. Finally waved down a manager told them our issue and he said he would be right back. He never came back. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her burger but my steak was cold as if it was sitting for longer than 40 minutes before being served. Finally as we were about to walk out due to poor service I waved another manager down. She was more understanding and did comp our dinner, so we are thankful for that however we will not be returning due to absolutely poor service from wait staff and from managers. It is very unfortunate because it was our first time and we were very excited to try the lodge out. We will not be returning

First time trying The Lodge tonight! Unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. We had made a reservation, but still had a little bit of a wait (it happens). Our server took about 15 minutes to greet us and we ordered drinks and food all in one go. Our drinks came and it was a bit weird that they were canned sodas, considering how high end this restaurant seems. It was clear there was a kitchen issue as no one was getting food. Our server seemed to be purposefully avoiding us and turning her head as she walked by so we couldn’t flag her down. Other tables were offered bread while they waited. We flagged down a manager and he said he’d get bread and check on our food (he then disappeared for the rest of the evening). Our server was very dismissive when we expressed being disappointed our food took 58 minutes to get to us. My husbands steak was cold to the touch when it arrived. Thankfully, my burger was very good. We asked to speak to someone 2-3 times and were treated like we were bothering our server. She said they took too many reservations and they couldn’t handle the volume. It should be noted we were being kind and trying to show we were understanding of things happening we just didn’t want to pay almost $40 for a cold uneaten steak. After about 30 minutes a woman walked over identifying herself as a manager asking how things were. We told her our story and she expressed regret and frustrations. Honestly, if she had come talk to us before I think we’d be feeling very differently as we leave. She was awesome and did her best to make things right. I’m sad because I think this place would have been really good, there was just no communication and our server probably shouldn’t be in the service industry.

We were really looking forward to coming back after our visit in May — the food was amazing then! Unfortunately, this visit was a big letdown. The braised short rib was dry, the crab dip was bland, and the lasagna was honestly disappointing — it was sweet instead of savory, lacked seasoning, and the noodles were all different sizes and textures, which made it feel uneven and thrown together. Our server was friendly but didn’t check in after bringing the food, so we never had a chance to mention the issues or ask for anything else. Not sure if there’s a new chef or if it was just an off night, but the food quality was nowhere near what we experienced before. I really hope things turn around, because our first visit was fantastic.

We were a party of four that was supposed to be six. After being seated at 5:00 p.m., two people did not show up. We were told—not asked—to move to another table, even though the dining room was mostly empty, with only three tables seated at the time. We all ordered the burger specials and were offered a choice of pink or no pink for the cook. After 45 minutes, our burgers arrived, and all of them were well done. Two were missing the eggs, and one had onions that were not edible. By the time the eggs were brought out, we were halfway finished with our burgers. The additional onions were also not edible. We also ordered an onion ring tower. This was the best part of our meal. This should have been an easy meal to get right. You’ve got to do better than this, Lodge. We were very disappointed.
