Their food went downhill about a year or two ago I went there today and it was actually pretty damn good wasn't greasy or slimy cooked perfectly and decides were as good as they usually are I don't know what changed but I would recommend it once again. I had the dinner for two three quite large breasts and two chicken legs two sodas and two sides$16 not bad at all it is quite a bit of food

The colonel never let's me down. I've been enjoying his eleven herbs and spices since I was a young child and I even was employed by KFC as a teenager. The food is consistent and I find it to be quite delicious. There are a number of tasty morsels on the menu and plenty of affordable offers. I have yet to meet someone who dislikes KFC and though some may say another restaurant has better fried chicken I do not agree. When it comes to tasty, mouth watering, juicy, flavorful, delicious fried chicken KFC is the only place for me.

very clean, well maintained place. extra bonus for having a drive thru which is always good for a quick grab and go situations. the staff was somewhat slow but I was in no hurry so that was not an issue. fried chicken and biscuits were both fresh, not stale like some places.

The sides were decent but I went there for the chicken. Update 4/30/24: I saw their commercial for for 8 pieces (dark meat) chicken for $10 and gave them another try. Still terrible, chicken had all the skin practically ripped off and looked like a total mess. I asked for some ketchup for the large fries and they gave me 2 packets and said they were out of plates and napkins. Needless to say they have not improved. Update 12/23/25 I just wanted to update this location in Pearl River, food and service has gone up recently, chicken was fresh and fried as I remembered and the workers were friendly and helpful. I don't know if it's under new management since my last review but I've visited twice within this month and both times the food was excellent. I'm modifying my review from my two visits around December 2025.

I got my food through the drive-thru so the only thing I can comment on was the service from the drive-thru and the food. I like the food at KFC and it was good when I got it. There was only one person ahead of me but it took more time for me to get up to pay than it should have. That's my only complaint.

We ordered dine-in, but our food was served in a delivery bag. When we asked for plates, we were told there were none available. We ended up eating our food on a napkin.

Drive through can't get order right. And we aren't talking about a huge complex order and I ordered VERY clearly. I've had to hit this same place fairly often because of work, and they mess up my order about half the time lately. Usually it's the same person..

When did this place become so funky? Food area dirty looking, the young kids on their phones while preparing your order also when is it normal to ask for fresh chicken and not yesterday's☢ current workers needs to be replaced.

Charged us for 2 famous bowls and only gave us one. Did not realize until already home. Called number displayed on google and says line is busy. Very upset

Placed order on line, it wasn’t ready when I arrived. About 15 minutes into waiting the guy explained that we ordered extra crispy and they have to make it….. you realize that 25 minutes after the order was placed???? So after waiting about 40 minutes. I got the order, or so I thought I did. I did not check it cause I was so annoyed!! Got home, missing a 2 piece meal and side of Mac and cheeses that was an ordered with the bucket family meal….. plus completely missing biscuits. Absolutely awful service!!!!

Still ill 2 days later, it's disgusting. I wrote to corporate. This place needs a total overhaul. The employees are goofy and unprofessional, the manager is also not in control of this location. There is always a problem when I go, or unfresh chicken. At this point, it's not off days I went on, it's just how this location is. Never again! Please clean this place up and replace these workers. They all look crusty too, ick.

While KFC food is good overall, I strongly suggest going to another venue for your Colonel. I’ve been in this location multiple times for both drive thru and walk in and I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with staff that was either rude or refused to give me what I asked for. Hopefully this review will convince them to up their game in the costumer service department, because I don’t see myself coming back in the foreseeable future.
