A little pricey but worth it for a fresh burger. And did I mention those fries ?? One of these times, I will try a milkshake. Very friendly staff at Plattsburgh, NY location. This is the only Five Guys location I have visited.

Great burgers, good (huge) portions of fries and in this time of Covid a cheerful young lady cleaning and disinfecting anything that moved, did not move and any twitch in between. Tables well separated. The famous peanuts are still available, just ask. Good job.

I went with my family to this restaurant, the person who took our orders was a gentelmen and took the time to explain to us. the Cheesburger is just the best you can get on the market that's my opinion. will definetly go back no doubt..

Online it says they do lettuce wrapped burgers which was exciting because I just found out I have diabetes. Well, they do have the bunless option, but not lettuce wrapped- at least not at this location. Instead they put your burger with all the toppings you ordered on a bed of lettuce inside a little aluminum foil tray. They provide a plastic fork and knife to eat with and although it wasn't as satisfying as biting into a burger like I had hoped for, it did satisfy all those flavors I was craving. It's a great option for those who have allergies or other dietary restrictions, even keto. Pro tip- skip the fries and add an extra patty. I was also really impressed with all the sugar free drinks available from their Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, not just diet coke, but sugar free hi-c's in all different flavors, sugar free lemonades, lots of options to choose from.

Five Guys is a great place to grab a burger. They have a huge listing of items you can top your burger with. The employees working at this Five Guys in Plattsburgh were fantastic. The one young guy at the location recommended a milk shake that consisted of strawberry, and oreo creme, saying it was like a strawberry short cake, and I am here to tell you that he was spot on. I enjoyed the food, and the shake enough that I made sure I ate there twice while I was in town for the week. If you are looking for a good burger, be sure to give Five Guys a try..

First of all I love Five Guys! The joint in Plattsburgh is really a great spot! Right off 87 and you can Gas up.and head down to NYC! We always make a.stop here from Montreal! The staff and management are great, always friendly and eager to help! I like my fries a certain way and the manager is always willing to redo a batch for me! Fantastic service, always with a smile and willing to go the distance for customers! Good Job Five Guys Plattsburgh!

Five Guys may be, and I mean this in the best sense, as close to what Canadians k ow as Harvey's. You order the burger, first by size*, then plain, or cheese, or bacon-cheese. Then the toppings, from the standards to jalapenos, fried mushrooms, to --- look at their online menu for more details/items. It's a burger joint, that also sells hot dogs, and delicious shakes (many you-call-'em flavors), and the housemade fries are to die for --- oh, and the big box of help yourself in-shell peanuts to snack on while your order is getting made --- and the soda machines that have, like, 99 mixable flavors .... Folks, i don't always eat there, but when I do I am always satisfied. Give it a shot. End note: the burger actually tastes like beef, not mega-chain flavored cardboard patties. * As to size, for your first burger, look at the bottom of the board and get the "small" burger. It's a big burger anywhere else. Add their toppings, and the delicious bun/roll, as well as everything else, and you have a wonderful meal. Bon appetit, burger lovers.

I know for a fact! Everytime when I come here I'm going to get the best you can even look behind the counters at the grill they are spotless clean and their staffs attitude is excellent! There is no limit to what you can get on a burger and cajun fries are awesome!! Please give them a try haha

I had never eaten here before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but every person in my truck was hyped to eat here. The service was quick and everyone was very polite. I personally didn't like my burger, I thought it was quite mushy, like cheap meat can be, but the Reeses milkshake was divine. All 3 of the people with me absolutely loved the food and they all added things like hot sauce, bacon, and jalapenos because they offer them and so much more. Maybe my burger was just a one time thing, but I can say the place itself and the people were great, so I will give it another shot.

Awesome staff here. Always positive and friendly. Food is great as always. Little pricey, but worth it when you feel like splurging on a good burger. They always give extra fries and have freshly grilled toppings. Watch the salt on the fries though, guys 😉 Sometimes it can be a little too much.

Awesome burgers, friendly staff, fast service, free peanuts, and a coke machine that lets you customize your drink in just about any way you can imagine. Only complaint is the bathroom was in need of cleaning. The rest of the restaurant looked very clean and I could see the employees making sure things were clean. Definitely will be going back. The burgers are perfect and huge along with fries that actually taste good. The peanut oil used to fry the fries makes all the difference.

The dining room was very clean and inviting. The staff were polite and welcomed us as customers. The Bacon Cheeseburger was prepared just the way I ordered it and the taste was fabulous. Always good service, clean, never gotten my order wrong. Also friendly staff. But most importantly one of the best burgers you can get anywhere. My better half tell everyone, Five Guys is where we have to go when he wanting a burger. If you have not been you are missing out on good food.

I've eaten at 5 Guys around the country and so far this is the best one. Always thought this location would be hard to get into and out but it's not. Everyone doing their jobs. 1 very energetic young man running the line/delivery. Normally won't go out of my way to get to one but I'll be back to this location.

Always fresh hot burgers and fresh potatoes. Burgers are huge so they are worth the price. Fries are such a huge portion size they just have a bag for themselves. The milkshakes are always the best part there the fruit in the milkshake is amazing!

Great place to go for a quick bite, date, or even just some comfort burgers . Staff is friendly, and when you order fries, you get fries. As in the cup plus whatever didn't fit when they grabbed your order. The burgers are great, the quality is definitely there. Maybe with some items it's a little overpriced, though that's to be expected with quick chains.

Stopped in for lunch on our way up to Montreal. The restaurant was slammed with customers but the staff were courteous and welcoming. Food came out quickly and very well done. Restaurant was clean and employees were quickly turning over tables for new customers. Will definitely stop here again when in the area.

I have heard people say this place is like In 'N' Out, but coming from California, I can tell you it is not. This does not mean in any way they are not just as good. I find their flavour much better than the other three big hamburger joints in the area (the one with the clown, the one with the member of royalty, and the one with the red hair girl). The first time my wife and I went there, we ordered what we would order from the above mentioned hamburger joints, and it was way too much food (not necessarily a bad thing). After that we modified our order. We love how we get extra fries thrown into the bag. The employees are always friendly and the place is always clean. Prices are reasonable and you always get more than you paid for. We always look forward to eating there.

The night after the eclipse, the restaurant was out of everything... but the guys made us burgers less than 5 min from closing with a smile. They could easily said sorry we are out of everything.

So I went there they were super friendly and nice took everything serious and I just gotta say, Mora makes the best milkshakes there like you gotta ask her to make it and Emilio made my burger 11/10 would get him to make for me again. So if you want good food head there and if either of those two are working ask them to make it Bc you won’t regret it

I enjoy 5 guys so I decided to stop in. And this is a well run unit. I ordered the double cheeseburger and it was great. I gotta say I really enjoy the peanuts while I wait for my food at five guys. I have tried to find peanuts that taste like that, but have been unsuccessful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the order was prepared quickly. The restaurant was clean and well kept. I love their fries but just can't fit them in with the double. If you like smash burgers it's definitely worth the trip.

I was in town on business stopped by for a burger. Food was excellent and liked everything about this place but goddamn it's expensive.

First time visiting this location and 1st time having the Cajun fries. Our food was hot and fresh...worth the few minutes we waited. Would visit again. Dining room was bright and clean.

After work I stopped in for dinner. The young lady with glasses and blonde hair was super friendly and energetic (wish they wore name tags so I can give a proper shout out). Everything I ordered was correct and really good. It did take a minute for the order to come out, but I wasn't in a hurry, yet the young girl I mentioned earlier apologized for the wait. Overall, best burger place in town. I will be returning again in the future.

The last two visits, the burgers were way overcooked to the point where they were dried out and not at all juicy. For the premium price, it is disappointing. I am hoping for positive changes.

Great juicy burger and delicious seasoned French fries. This is a chain but the food is great quality and always consistent. The staff is a pleasure to order from. My guy and I got 2 bacon cheeseburgers (they are huge with 2 full size burgers on each bun) a milkshake and soda and large Cajun fry, the total was $39. They gave us an extra burger and soda! Will be back.

Grilled to order fresh, juicy, moist and delicious. Great place to go for a great burger and more. Greeted by friendly staff who takes order and gives you receipt with number. Great selection of self serve fountain drinks. Order ready in no more than 10 minutes during busy lunch crowd. Nibble on peanuts whole you wait for order. Facilities bright and clean. I stop in when in town. There are other options on the menu including kosher hot dog and bun less burger.

Burger and fries are pretty good. Their Cajun fries are usually over spiced and I tend to try and shake off the exorbitant amount of salt. Awesome selection of drinks to choose from and the milkshakes are actually pretty good.

Everything looked clean and the team communicated well. The food was also delicious. The only thing that I didnt like here was the smell, I had to step outside for a moment. It may have had nothing to do with the workers and just been too many fumes from the food to clarify.

I have a soft spot for Five Guys, a little pricey for what it is, but they always deliver a tasty burger that isn't dry. Not big on their fries, there are way better fries out there, especially being from Montreal. The shakes are tasty, and their soda fountain with all the combinations you can make with various flavoured syrups is always fun to see if you can make something new and interesting, I do half peach Dasani and Coca Cola... Yum.

Took my bestfriend here for his birthday. The prices were high but i was warned but you do get a lot for your money. The soda machine is awesome and fries are the best. I wasnt to happy with my burger but he was.

The best place to have a burgers with fries and shakes. You can have your burger and your shake the way you wanted with a lot of choices of toppings. The portions are good and they put a lot of fries. The staff was polite and efficient. Of course other places may be cheaper but this restaurant chain offers a better quality of food and service.

So 4.5 would be appropriate. And frankly, if you know this is a fast casual atmosphere, it's really a 5. Food was crazy tasty. Fries are our favorite. Was mostly fast (was busy too). Place was bright if a bit disheveled. Bottom line, you are going to get what you expect and you are going to love it.

Cashier was really nice (Sunday 2 June, at 9hpm). We're Canadians who came for a small shopping trip and tbh it was a good choice stopping by Five Guys before driving back to Canada. Price is a but expensive, I paid around 50-60$ for 2 burgers and 2 fries (one normal one cajun).

Stopped in for a quick bit. Place was packed, but the staff were quick getting the orders out. We waited maybe 5-7 min for our food, which given the crowd was pretty good. Food was very good and filling. Although the I got a small fry container, there were probably still double the amount in the bag still. Burger was fresh and delicious.

their burgers are absolutely the best. hands down. even though I normally order anything medium rare, somehow they manage to make their burgers extremely juicy and flavorful even though they're cooked medium to medium well. Service is always quick, friendly and just excellent. their fries are the tastiest fries around due to how they're fried in peanut oil. so good! everything I've gotten from here has been delicious, but the only reason it doesn't get five stars is because of the prices, which I think are just crazy. I can understand them being a little high with the crazy increase in minimum wage, but you almost feel like you have to take out a small loan before eating here. okay, that's maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but the prices are far too high. however, if you're in the mood for the best burger and fries, this is it. if their prices were lower I would eat here far more often. otherwise, I only eat here if I am absolutely craving one of their burgers.

I love their fresh hamburg stacked high, delicious & fresh veggies added on & fresh buns. I must admit I'm not a huge fan of their French fries, though I need to add that I'm pretty particular about all my fries!

Food was great! Clean, and great atmosphere. They got my order wrong (forgot my tomatoes) but we're super nice and polite when I let them know. Employees are young but, respectful and have great customer service. Very different experience than that one could have in a McDonald's or BK these days. I was pleasantly surprised to see how exceptional the customer service was considering everyone on the team appeared to be in their late teens to early 20's. It was nice to see! Following a birthday excursion to the video arcade for my stepson’s birthday, I had stopped into Five Guys with a range of cousins and uncles for a bite to eat. Rather than spoiling our impending dinner, we ordered a few large portions of fries and emptied them out over the table and paired them with a variety of milkshakes. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and presentable, though verging on the clinical than the culinary, which straddles the line of appetizing and off-putting. Service was fast, and care was taken to ensure that we received our milkshakes when they were ready, which made waiting for the fries a little easier. When it arrives, the food was well-cooked and flavorful, and well worth the cost. It also seemed to be one of the few franchises remaining that didn’t charge for peanuts!

The burgers were far better than typical fast food restaurants but probably no better than your local diner. I went with the Cajun seasoning on my fries and found it quite overpowering. I like spicy but that was too much to enjoy as a fri.

The food was good, especially the fries. The downside was when we were ready to sit down, nine tables were empty. However, EVERY one was dirty. It took 15 minutes before anyone started cleaning tables.

Really enjoy this place normally, but today there after 1pm on a Wednesday only 2 tables being used and staff I believe of 6 not 1 clean table in the place. Also temperature felt like 66° or colder, I was cold and that's rare. At end of meal 1 guy came out cleaning and all he did was rub the glass petition between kitchen and restaurant area with a balled up paper towel as he kept stopping and talking to other staff. 3 others besides myself went and got napkins and cleaned our tables before using also.I am always saying to friends who say 5 guys is too expensive, that it is worth it. Good fries as always, but the burger was not great. Hard bun either over toasted or on the stale side; burger was beyond well done and seemed cool at best…the cheese did not even melt on the burger and wrapped in foil for 5-8 minutes. Not a great experience. Service was very good.

Reason for the 2 star service is I only stop for a shake and they yell "shake solo" and at least 1 other person yells it back, but know one goes and makes it. I've had to go back to cashier and complain a few times after waiting 8-10 minutes. Ive been going up the road to chick-fil-a for my shake because its in and out. Five guys needs a better set up for those of us that just want a shake. I also tip a dollar in their tip jar for just a shake. That being said, they have the best shake in town because of the great choices.

If I had filled this out the previous 2 times that I'd been there, it would be 5 ☆.. the reason for 3☆ : This time my burger wasn't so great. I ordered exactly like the other 2 times or so I thought.. I like COOKED/Grilled onions. Cooking onions aren't great in a burger! I may not have stated that - dog enjoyed them when I took 1/2 of my burger home. ALSO: my lettuce was disgusting : 2 pieces looked brown/wilted & the others were the big hard wavy pieces near the core. My hamburger was a little burnt on the edges as 1burger was thinner than the other. Just not what you expect for a $10 Burger ! I Luv the atmosphere, soda machines & relatively fast service. Fries are outstanding! ☆ Would be nice to have a station with antibacterial spray & paper towels since the 5 guys really don't have time to clean tables after customers. JS.

Best french fries anywhere, worst curbside ever. Ordered online for curbside. Waited 30 minutes at the store. Finally went in. Got part of my order. Had to flag down someone to get my shakes. An hour of my time wasted. Still good fries.

I'm not really sure why this place has been success as a franchise, but it has so it must just be me. On 2 occasions I asked by hamburger be cooked with salt and pepper. It was like an act of god, and I remember the one time they couldnt find salt and pepper "packets", what kind of restaurant has to use salt and pepper packets? what kind of a restaurant doesn't salt and pepper their meat? as a kid I worked The King, Mcdonalds and Wendy and salt and pepper is added. Best burger I have had is Smash Burger, boy o boy . In the Philly airport. yum.

Today I ordered a cheeseburger with mayo ketchup onion lettuce and pickle and a small fry. I got it to go, so when I got home I opened my bag to a plain cheeseburger and burnt fries. Was very disappointed because I love this place. Maybe it was just a bad day today.

I stopped going because the outside of the buns were so greasy it was too messy to eat in the car. The last 3 times were that way at 3 different places. It is the first place that I have been to that if you ask for a hamburger you get a double burger. If you want just a hamburger you have to tell them you don't want a double burger.

Did I just pay $19 for a single cheeseburger, small fries and soda? Haven't gotten the food yet but being that I'm still in shock from paying perhaps it's better to wait.. How people can afford this is beyond me..........

Not a bad place normally however they were not informing people of their order numbers. And let another person leave with my food come back and handed me said food without offering to remake it after the other person left the building with it.

It was ok. My seven dollar burger was cold and way too many fries. The lobby was clean, the staff weirdly courteous but the grounds were littered and the outsides of the grease pits, located by the front door, were disgusting. $10.46 was $3 more than it was worth.

It's not very good, very overpriced for what you get. The atmosphere was loud and echoed in the building. The people who were cooking the food didn't seem to care about what they were doing. Better food can be had just down the street(and for a lot less price).

Don't really get the hype of this place? It's just overpriced food and you can get better burgers at Wendy's or McDonald's or a sit down restaurant.. really don't see why people find this place so great?

I walked in here with family and you could feel the tension immediately. No hostess or cashier was working and not one employee could look up to say hello. Cooks were obviously overwhelmed with orders which I get but it’s no excuse to be rude: After waiting 15 mins for someone to acknowledge us we left. As we were walking out the hostess finally came to say hello. We left and Chick-fil-A greeted us right when we walked in.

They don't give u time to read menu board and two of them are firing questions at you. Music in eating area too loud so u can't hear them and my hearing is fine. Way way to expensive. Didn't ask how to cook hamburger. No bun should be cheaper. Door broken in restroom and restroom very cold.

Overpriced and not as good as it used to be

Employees are rude. When a customer asks for something as simple as putting mayo on their food and not in a cup that's what should happen. This is the second time I have been there and your employees are incompetent to put mayo on my order and not on the side.

We ordered hamburgers and fries for delivery. After fours of waiting for our dinner I called to inquire its where abouts. The manager copped attitude and insinuated that I was responsible for the delivery service not them. He assumes too much and didn't strike me as much of a problem solver. He informed me that I ordered through a delivery app. I called the store directly to place my order. Long story short, I had a hell of a time getting my money back after the order disappeared somewhere between the store and my house. A few months later a supervisor walked into the cafeteria with her bag of five guys. It was gross. The bag was soaked in grease. Seeing that made me glad our order went missing. The driver did us a huge favor. How anyone can call that garbage meat, good food is beyond me. It's a heart attack in a bag. 🤢 We never went back.

Placed online order at 6:24 pm said would be ready for pick-up at 6:32 pM. Arrived at 6:34, checked in burgers done and sitting there. Fries finally added to bag at 6:55. Get home just condiments on the bun no burger!!!!. Call store, we will give you a $5 gift card. Great since I spent $8.49 for the burger. Last trip to five guys

We decided to eat here because they advertise 100% peanut oil and I didn't want fries coated with silicone. Their oil was next to the peanuts and the extra ingredient to stop the oil from splashing also coats the fries so they take longer to degrade/mold.
