Amazing grilled chicken dinner! One of my absolute favorite Mexican spots in the East Bay. Even their rice and beans are amazing on their own. 👌❤️

TODAY WAS MY FIRST TIME ORDERING IM VERY IMPRESSED BY THE SEASONING AND GREAT FLAVOR OF THE CHICKEN IT IS GOOD REALLY GOOD AND THE RICE IS TENDER AND GREAT THE SALSA IS NOT HOT THANK GOD AND IT IS VERY GOOD THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD I WILL ORDER AGAIN. AND THE PRICE VERY. AFFORDABLE .

Very polite staff. I came in for lunch on a Tuesday and got 3 tacos for $6. Unheard off. Unexpected to me, I got chips and salsa too.

The food was delicious and the salad great. The chips were a bit stale but that's my only complaint.

The customer service was nice, food was decent, the decor in this place was trippy but cool, and they played music.

La Selva is the quinesteial taqueria place of California. Better than most others and consistant. Not spectacular as Azul in Richmond or Don Ramon's in SF, but has character and is mas fina. Definitely worthy.

Whole Chicken w/ Everything is the best deal around! Chicken is juicy, well seasoned, and the perfect amount of charred. Their rice, beans, tortillas and salsas are also delicious.

We went to try some chicken dishes, but it was raining and it didn't seem they were grilling. We ordered chicken tacos and quesadillas, while they were very fresh and abundant there didn't seem to be much flavor. Next time I'll try the whole grilled chicken. Salsas were a bit runny. Staff was very nice. Decor seems dated.

The host was very pleasant. I ordered steak tacos and a California Burrito. The tacos were great. The burrito was mediocre.

Everything tasted fresh only thing was roasted chicken tasted and felt like was cooked earlier and served lukewarm same with rice and beans tasted homemade but like I said lukewarm

But I'm leaving a 3 star review because I ordered over door dash and when I recieved my order it was missing cilantro and onion which were standard ingredients for the tacos. And when I called a woman answered the phone and hung up when I begin talking. When I called back the lady gave the phone to a guy and he was a bit more helpful and agreed to take care of the issue next time. I will leave a 2nd review if I ever end up ordering again from this location.

Really liked the grilled chicken the 1st time a came here. Today the chicken was cold. The rice was stale as well. Maybe just an off day.

It’s sad how in COVID times you want and feel like helping small local businesses. This was one of them. The items were incorrect, I order two wet burritos and it wasn’t even close as it shows in the picture and it wasn’t a wet burrito either, they both came cold with a little bit of sauce on top, I got seeds of lemon inside and my husband got a piece of bone I’m his burrito. How sad and disappointing it was to order from here and I gave it a two stars just because the flavor was good but didn’t even eat the whole thing.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The food was unedible, the carne asada from the tacos had gone bad. I would not serve this to my dogs,It was an extreme disappointment.

I called in to make an order and the lady doesn't even speak English... How are you going to have a restaurant in America and not speak English??? Horrible... To the person that owns this restaurant You should rethink it and hire people that actually speak English if you want more customers...

This was the WORST place I’ve ever ordered food from. I wish I could upload the video I took. The tacos where rock hard rolled up like taquitos and inside was a teaspoon of what looked like burnt rock hard chicken or steak. Me and my wife had to throw it away and order again from somewhere else. Our special instructions weren’t listened too.. the food was cold, rock hard, burnt and just overall disgusting. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Salsa’s were very salty never had them so salty, taco meats Al pastor and caveza were not so fresh tasted kinda old and rancid on January 7 25.
