We love panini grill. Their chicken kabobs are so tender and tasty. The hummus trio is excellent , we get it as an appetizer. The portions are very generous.
The food quality has gone up significantly since they replaced the manager. The food used be either undercooked or half-burnt. But now, it's perfect, especially the beef kebab. Service still needs aome work since they are a bit understaffed and the servers are hard to get hold of when you need something extra. They should provide salt and pepper and sumaq by default too, but they don't and forget to bring them when you tell them. Well, nowhere is perfect. We are very happy to have Riverside Panini here.
Absolutely excellent food and service. Portion sizes are good. They brought us an extra table to put our bags on without us even asking. Blew me away honestly
My brother recommended this place and I wasn't expecting much since it's in the mall but wow was I surprised. The staff is friendly and professional. I ordered pita and hummus before my meal and the pita was cut into triangles and lightly toasted. The hummus was flavorful. next I ordered the salmon kabob and an amazing salad with dates and was shocked. I kissed the salmon with lemon and along with their seasoning there was a unique flavor I couldn't get enough of. the vegetables also had a flavoring to them when I expected plain grilled veggie. Let's talk about that salad...never have I had dates in my salad but it was an interesting combination with the strawberries and nuts. It's priced on the higher side but worth every penny. Loved all of it and I can't wait to go back. I wish they weren't in the mall though.
This food was absolutely stunning. Each bite of the falafel platter was a work of art. Tzatziki sauce was mind blowing. The salad was fresh and indulgent. My seventh sense opened after eating this fabulous food. It would be a crime to not eat here. I myself want to shake hands with the chef as this was a stunning plate of food. The cesar salad is a must. Each bite more amazing than th last.
We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was busy with both dine in and take out orders. The hummus trio with cucumbers was delicious and refreshing. We ordered the steak panini and chicken. Wrap, both delicious. Luis was our server and was excellent. We changed from pita bread to cucumber last minute and he got it done. He didnt rush us to take our order and offered great suggestions. He came over and let us know the kitchen was backed up, so our order was taking longer than expected - we found that to be great customer service. He was hustling all through the restaurant and still made time for us. We will definitely be back.
This is our go to in Riverside for kabobs or Mediterranean meal. We typically order the family combo whether dining in or out. I substitute 1 or even 2 of the chicken kabobs with the koobideh. My son likes the lamb kabob and my mom liked the colossal shrimp kabob. My favorite salad from their menu is the strawberry dates salad. We have also tried some of their pasta entries and they are also pretty good. For dessert, we usually share and we usually go with their tiramisu and the baklava with a side of ice cream. The only downside for us is the wait time to be seated. I guess it’s a pretty popular place here in the galleria mall at Tyler. One other time, I noticed them serving food for a group that were seated later than we did. Also servers are not attentive to tables maybe too busy (water refill, requests, etc.) so I’m taking some stars for that. But overall, we have always been satisfied with the food here so we can get past some flaws to their service.
Located in the Galleria at Tyler with entrance from both inside the mall and from parking lot facing Tyler St near Red Robin. I placed my lunch order online and walked in to pick it up. My order was ready at the time promised online. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and organized with great decor and outside/patio seating. I ordered their Mediterranean salad and added chicken. Both the salad & chicken were fresh and tasted delicious. Portions are generous. I sure had a very satisfying lunch. Overall, I had a great experience at this location and can't wait to return and try more of their menu items.
Panini Kabob Grill in Riverside in the Galleria at Tyler. It was a good experience to eat here closer to home. I enjoyed the atmosphere and everyone was nice. I also liked the look of the restaurant. I Ordered the Chicken Kabob with Rice and Mediterranean Salad. I also ordered Tzatziki 🤤 Let me just say that the Chicken Kabob was tender and flavorful. Overall it was tasty and satisfying 💯.
There were not too many diners at the time our party of 4 was there and yet we had to ask 5 times for the drinks we had ordered before the food had arrived... Other than that the food was prepared perfectly and tasted outstanding...
The food is always Delicious! However, the service has been exceptionally slow. Slow to the point where we wait up to 15 min for our server to come greet us at the table and take our drink orders and you can only Imagine how long it takes to actually get our food. Angela is always very friendly and tries hard to make us feel seen. They should definitely hire more staff to help the others out.
Stopped in for lunch while shopping at the mall. Upon arrival we were greeted by our host and quickly seated. This was mid-afternoon so the lunch crowd was pretty much gone. There were plenty seats available and I would say it wasn't very busy at this time. However after the waitress took our order she really didn't tend to us the rest of the meal. We needed drink refills and she never stopped by, after we were done with our meal we asked the gal picking up our dishes for drink refills. Other than that the food was good the restrooms were clean, sta onff was pleasant and the establishment was well taken care of. I dropped a star due the the refill issue but was not disappointed with the meal.
Took 20 minutes just to be noticed at the host stand, several tables open, but they were busy. Not one waitress wanted to come over & greet us, I had to go in and ask if we could put our name down. Then we waited another 20? Waitress forgot my wine, 1/2 way through the meal, I had to ask for it. SALADS LOOKED 1/2 FULL??? Rice given on the Family Feast platter looked like they cut back on portion.....Not as good as it could be. Portion sizes looked a bit smaller. Very little dressing in salad, then $2.95 for a little ramikin extra??? Had to find a waitress any time we needed anything, no real attention to table! Good tasting food though. Don't cut back on portions to save a $....it is noticed!
Good place but its hit or miss with the kabob. This morning I picked up mu order and the insides of it were luke warm. Not fully cooked. But yet burned on thr outside. Yesterday they didn't put my sauce in... Great costumer service just wish the kabobs were cooked properly
I ordered pick up for two beef kabob it was good but the veggies were not cooked I had raw onions very bitter taste and tomatoes as well. I’ve been coming to this location often and this is the first time I had a bad experience with the food :(
Their service is horrible. I went to the restaurant alone and waited for a waiter to come and take my order, but no one came for 10–15 minutes. While I was waiting, another family—a group of four—arrived. Finally, the waiter came and took their order first, even though I had already been waiting for 15 minutes. It felt like he prioritized the larger group because he expected a bigger tip than from a single customer like me. Their food arrived first, and I had to wait another 15 minutes. In total, I waited almost an hour. This was very unfair and extremely poor service. Sometimes they bring the food cold—the steak is cold, or the rice is not warm enough. They also don’t bother to come and refill drinks, especially lemonade. Food preparation is extremely slow; you have to wait at least 45 minutes to one hour for your meal.
Went for lunch. It was not too busy, they had about 5-6 tables with customers . The food was pretty good and that is why I am giving an extra star. The service was really bad. It took them over 10 minutes to get our drinks. We had to flag someone down to place our order. We asked 1 person for water and no water. We asked our waitress for water and she brought it when our meal was done. No one even bothered to come and ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Even though the food was good I would not visit this place again as parking is a hassle to come and receive bad service.
I know the veggies can charcoal a bit while grilling but a complete black coat is not okay - while they still tell you it’s edible and normal. Plus, it takes almost 30 minutes to get your food done, when the entire restaurant has only 5 tables. The falafel wrap is good , though. One of the servers is also very professional and friendly - but others, keeping telling us the charcoal is normal, no.
I appreciate the reminder about the missing item (the drink), but I hadn’t had a chance to check the order yet. I respect the process, but checking is usually a responsibility we both share. What bothered me was how he spoke to me—he was very rude and disrespectful. I hope the communication can be more professional in the future.
I work in the mall and I’m Victor and a regular customer of this kebab restaurant, ordering from them 3–4 times a week. Until recently, mall employees were allowed to use their restroom without any problem. Now they have added a code lock, and even though they know me and I explained that I’m a frequent customer, they still refused to let me use the restroom unless I bought food at that moment. This policy is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Denying restroom access to someone who supports your business several times a week shows a lack of basic courtesy and customer service. I hope the management reconsiders this approach, because it leaves a very negative impression.
The restaurant was my favorite, but after a great experience with lentil soup, today's service was unacceptable. I ordered a chicken and beef kebab with rice and hummus, but they told me it would be an extra 4-8 dollars for the hummus and bread. I didn't care, but the server's attitude was despotic and arrogant. I doubt I'll ever visit again, not even if they offer me a free meal. As a Jew, I'm proud to wear my Star of David, and I speculate that the server noticed it, which may have contributed to her behavior. I feel sorry for the restaurant, as the server clearly lacked education and deserves better, possibly a chance to leave her miserable life for a better one."
