Avis sur Goodfella's Pizza Sackets Harbor
As always a fabulous experience. We tried the squash Ravioli that had as a special last night and I hope they have it the next time we go. Wouldn't complain if its added to the menu. The pizza was also a slam as always. However, constant go to is the bruschetta caprese and per usual it did not disappoint.
I visited The Good Fellos in Sackets Harbor, and it quickly became my favorite dining experience in town. I started with the Smoked Duck Wontons, and let me tell you—these were outstanding. Easily one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had anywhere. I honestly felt like I could’ve eaten my weight in them, they were that good! For my entrée, I ordered the Pollo alla Francese, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and wonderfully satisfying. I paired it with a glass of Hazlitt Red Cat, a semi-sweet red wine that complemented the dish beautifully. Between the incredible food, the warm atmosphere, and the stunning views of the harbor, this restaurant truly stands out. The Good Fellos was hands down my favorite place I tried while visiting Sackets Harbor. If I ever get the chance to return, this will be the first place I go!
Solid pizza! Just ordered one of their specials on the board. The fries and meatballs, absolutely amazing! Service killed it, she was on point. Drinks were very good. Couldn’t recommend it any higher.
We enjoyed a special dinner at Good Fellos. The calamari is a must and the bolanaise pasta is totally delicious. The atmosphere is casual with stylish brick oven feel. Our server was a pro. He told me to consider a different meal option based on his experience and it was the right choice. All that, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get.
Great wood fired pizzas plus Calamari! I saw an amazing steak entree get delivered to a nearby table that I’ll go back and try. Quaint waterside village. Warm casual atmosphere. Great service and it was a super busy day with the Eclipse happening. A recent visit in ‘25 was even better and their pastry chef knocked it out of the ballpark with a Coconut layered cake!
We were in search of a great Italian restaurant in the charming marina town of Sackets Harbor, and Good Fellos delivered on every level. From the moment we walked in during the early evening, the atmosphere was alive with energy. Patrons steadily filled the cozy indoor dining room and the scenic back deck, giving the whole place a warm, inviting buzz. The scent of the wood-fired pizza oven immediately pulled us in—it was fired up and ready, and so were we. The menu offered an enticing variety of options, whether you’re craving a classic Italian entrée or a perfectly crisped pizza. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the start. Whether you’re visiting Sackets Harbor or lucky enough to live nearby, Good Fellos is a must-visit spot for a delicious Italian meal in a vibrant, relaxed setting.
We come up to the area for vacation occasionally, and Good Fellos is always on the list of places we NEED to eat at before we leave. To this day after eating a lot of pizza, it's still the best pizza we've ever eaten. My 7 year old son asked if we could get that pizza around where we live and the disappointment on his face was visible when we told him it's only at a restaurant 7 hours away.
Delicious dinner served outside on patio! I was able to try everybody's dinner tonight since I was visiting from our of town! I had the pizza with garlic sauce artichoke and mushrooms it was good but would be better with more sauce. My son had sausage pasta dish and the sausage was delicious! My favorite was my son's girlfriend's choice which was the porkchop served over mash potatoes. I would recommend the pork chop it was tender and juicy! We also enjoyed a bottle of pinot grigio, very nice light fruity white wine! Appetizers were crab cakes and duck wontons both were excellent would recommend both.
My friends and I decided to go to Goodfellos, after it was recommended to us by a coworker. Right when we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by numerous friendly waitresses who wanted to know if we were being helped. Because we were a party of 8, it took a few minutes for the staff to ready the table. Upon being seated, our drink and food order were taken down and placed. Even though the restaurant is a bit pricey, I decided to try a few different items. I ordered the Smoked Duck Wonton, Pork Milanese, and the Tiramisu. All three plates were very tasty. My friends also enjoyed their meals as well. I think that this place is good if you are going on a date, or having a nice friendly or family gathering.
We came around 4:45 on Sunday and it was pretty empty. The prices are pretty high, but the portions make up for it. We ordered the calamari, my husband got the chicken Parmesan, and I got the scampi frito pico. The calamari and chicken Parmesan were good, but the scampi was wayyyy too sweet. I've never had a pasta dish that was that sweet. We might come back but I probably won't order the same dish again.
Excellent experience! The food was delicious, there was a wide selection of drink choices, and our bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. This place comes highly recommended for a reason. Prices were a bit high but the quality of the overall experience (mostly) justifies it. Will certainly come back for date nights or special occasions.
We ordered wine & beer for drinks. We then ordered Caesar salad and pizza. Salad was decent but the rustica pizza was supposed to have sausage on it and there were maybe 2 or 3 bites of sausage. Their pizza used to be so good. Our server never asked how everything was so there wasn’t an opportunity to let her know about lack of toppings. I know their chicken dishes are good so have to maybe order that instead of pizza.
The food was really good but more on the expensive side. A plate of bruschetta was $17 and that’s the cash price; costs more if you use card. Service was decent but kitchen messed up an order a bit. Make your own pizza is insane and $3 per topping even if it is just basil; came out to $28 for a personal pepperoni pizza with basil and spinach. Could be argued the food is worth the price. Was very filling and satisfied afterwards.
Went here on Halloween Night. They had great food and service was accommodating. The atmosphere was great, until dinner rush came then it was a bit packed. Food took a little longer than expected, but it was date night, so we didn't mind waiting. Overall, it was a great experience. The only thing I would have to say is the menu is a bit pricy, but they do give you very large portion sizes. Would definitely come back for another date night.
Eating at the bar I maybe wouldn’t recommend. The two bartenders are brutally inattentive. Sat at first ignored, until one finally made eye contact. Got a beer, ordered a pizza. Pizza came, I was given silverware and and napkins by the bar, had to ask other waitstaff for a plate and cheese and hot peppers. Finished my beer, and it was left unnoticed. I finished the pizza with an empty pint. I was never checked on once the food was delivered, or after my first and only drink was delivered. As a single guy sitting at the bar by myself, I felt totally invisible. I would have had another drink, but was never asked. As a former restaurant person, this kind of service is inexcusable. Spend some time on people who are there alone.
This is my favorite restaurant but after eating here today I got ill. I called the restaurant to tell them and the manager did not seem to care at all. Made it sound like it was my fault and frankly I don’t think I can dine here after this. After getting married this was the one place I wanted to take my wife and I ended up getting sick. We made a reservation as well and I get it was Valentine’s Day. But we shouldn’t have to wait longer than 5-10 minutes for a table we reserved. We called about 2 weeks ahead so we wouldn’t have to wait and we ended up waiting for 30-35 minutes which I think is appalling. This is not the kind of service and food I constantly praised to my wife family and friends. I’m sad to see the restaurant like this. The wait shouldn’t have been long especially with two people. It was so loud we could barley talk to eachother
Called well over a month ago to make reservations for Valentine’s Day knowing it would be busy. Was told we were unable to reserve a table under 6 people and that all tables under that number were first come first serve. Knowing this, we drive a hour only to show up to a waiting area mobbed with groups of , all with reservations. I thought that wasn’t allowed? The best part is that these people that had reservations for much earlier in the night were still waiting (hours we were told). Highly disappointed in the service here and unfortunately will never make the trip out to try the food. Please inform your hostesses or whomever is answering your phone to be clear if you are BOOKED with reservations. It is very different from first come first serve.
Had a terrible experience here tonight. We were so excited to eat here, we set a reservation. We were sat in a table right by the sun in the garage area, we let our server know that the sun was right in our eyes and bothering us, she said yeah it’s going to go down, we asked to be moved and she said she couldn’t do that cause the other tables were reservation only but we had a reservation too??. I spent the entire time with the beaming sun in my face after switching with my toddler who could barely see. We were all hot and sweating. On the way out we were asked how everything was and when I let the person who asked know all he said was oh okay. Nobody apologized for our terrible experience. We do not plan to come back.
