Nice spot in San Carlos, solid eats, very affordable, excellent selection. Pretty much any food you'd want at a diner: full breakfast menu, soups, chili, salads, pasta, gyros, burgers, steak, fish, nice sides. They have 3 lunch specials, rotating every day of the week + many breakfast specials. I like the Italian Sausage Scramble, 1/2 Chicken Dinner + everything I've eaten there has been legit.

The Brolier Express (aka The BE) is about an honest breakfast place as you could ask for. Flat grilled everything and coffee in those indestructible stoneware cups. I would live here if my heart wouldn’t seize in the process.

This is your old school family owned and managed local restaurant. They are very efficient because ordering is at the counter, pick up your drink, and food will be delivered to your number at your table. All the prepared food is home made. Portions are on the bigger size. Prices are best you can find in the area especially if you get the daily special i.e. rib eye dinner with soup or salad and drink for $17.95. Cant do a full meal at fast food for these prices.

Best breakfast place around,a lot of people meet here with friends especially in the morning. Serv lunch and dinner. Decent food for the best price in town . Staff and owner friendly, rare to find these days .

It's not a fancy looking restaurant at all but that's what makes it an exceptional sort of diner to eat at. It has good atmosphere / vibes constantly. I usually get one of the breakfast specials that come with hash browns and endless coffee, all at around 10-12 bucks. I also enjoy their patty melt or club sando for lunch. Menu is quite large so you should definitely check it out

Food's pretty good - standard American breakfast food. We had an omelette (can't complain, they were quite generous with fillings), hash browns (also can't complain - potatoes!!), and eggs benedict (not the best I've ever had, but still quite good).

What a great, old fashioned, breakfast dive diner. Counter order, but they bring the food to your table. And the food is the draw, although the service is friendly.

Great place to eat for a reasonable price. It's not a fine dining establishment, but it's perfect for what it's supposed to be. A place where people and groups of people can relax and have a meal and conversation with each other without being or feeling rushed.

This is not fancy. This is a basic diner serving solid food at a low price. If you're looking for fancy go elsewhere. If you're looking for classic diner faire with some surprises and breakfast served ALL DAY, this is the place.

This is my favorite dinner. We usually eat here once a week. They make most items fresh when you oder - not much sitting around waiting. They have an amazingly tasty grilled chicken sandwich, and their clam chowder is great. Good gyros, too!

It's a well priced diner with pretty much any options of food you can find. They've been here for years with many regulars visiting daily which adds to the charm. The location is a bit dated but that adds to the personality as well

Order at the counter and depending how busy they will bring it to you quickly. You can serve yourself refills of water and coffee. There are a few tables outside.

Needed a quick meal before taking a friend to the airport. This was the perfect place. No frills, prompt service, quality food, and generous portions. Good selection on the menu. And good prices. I highly recommend Broiler Express.

This review it is a 3.5 Star on food quality, I mean this Mom and Pop's Cafe is great for a low budget meal in the middle of San Carlos...., this includes Eggs bacon hash browns pancake or toast and coffee... and When You learned good quality meat comes at a price? It's when you 'd ordered from a separate Menu the New York Steak and Eggs with all the fixings, at a modest $25 but even then, You better be READY for some GOOD chewing up for pieces that Otherwise cannot be ingested? and for this reason, if I am nearby?..., I prefer the quick cheap breakfast // Clean Atmosphere and Great Service I would suggest to have a revamp on their Menu that has been hanging for decades

Great breakfasts. We have been eating here for years. The prices are unbelievably low and the food very good. We usually just eat breakfast. My husband has food allergies and never has a problem eating here. The gentleman who works there named John always makes our visit special. Such a wonderful man checking that everything is perfect with your meal. Love this place!

Only complaint was the pie wasn't a little warm for the al a mode. It is definitely recommend to check it out and give it a try. Definitely recommend the gyro from this restaurant unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it

Totally a nice place.

Left a very generous tip, only to be "rewarded" by them messing up both our orders. My wife asked for sliced tomatoes instead of veggies but when the order arrived, no sign of the tomatoes and the server just about refused to bring them. I had ordered a fish sandwich and I had asked for mayo instead of tartar sauce, what I thought was a very reasonable request. The sandwich came completely dry, no mayo to be found anywhere near it. No good deed goes unpunished...

I have been here over the last 10 years and yesterday I found it has improved. Liver & onions was very good yesterday. Affordable meals and a good location. I was not going to return but gave it another try. Just be sure you pick the right meal. Something's just aren't good but breakfast and liver & onions are. Sandwiches and hamburgers are not they're strong point.

The American breakfast items were greasy and not very tasty (although the bacon is fine that way). The portions are fair, but I prefer quality over quantity. Perhaps the Greek menu choices are better, though not sure I will check.

This place is a Dollar Tree Version of Stacks, mid customer service they didn’t care about my complaint about the orange juice tasting fermented. Food tastes like anything you can throw together at home. i’d give it a 5/10. It is cheap tho so you get what you pay for.
