I love how most of their extensive menu can be made vegan! I tried the tempeh vegan tacos and they were absolutely delicious, ready quickly and well priced. We will definitely return to try more of their vegan options!

Two words: Vegan Birria Burrito Two words: Flavor Bomb!!! I am so stoked to have found a Mexican grill with an endless vegan menu! And they’re open late too! Everything that we tried tasted amazing. The burritos are ginormous. Give Liticker’s a try, today!!

Best place in ocean beach for burritos, tacos, beer/wine/liquor and a good time. The staff is out of this world friendly and committed to customer service. I own multiple shirts and hats. I also plan on naming my unborn child Liticker. Thank you for everything you do in making this community, and world, a better place.

Ambience? LOL-not really, but you go for the food and the convenience of the liquor store/mini mart with a grille. The food is amazing, people are nice, and there are picnic tables outside on the sidewalk. We stopped in for the amazing tacos and burritos. Since we had the dogs with us, it was cool to hang out at the picnic tables outside while we waited for our take out order, chatting with locals passing by. 5/5 will be back!

This had a huge breakfast burrito and a good Philly cheese steak sandwich. Made for a great late night snack with leftovers for breakfast our first night. The next day enjoyed the shrimp and the fish tacos. The food service is inside a liquor/ convenience store that was well stocked. Even carrying distilled water for the CPAP machine. And it is very rare for any small stores, when we travel, to have it Much appreciated. Definitely recommend

I'm visiting from Indiana and sort of stumbled in here for a late breakfast. The tamales were amazing; my daughter stole half my meal! We got the vegan philly, a birria quesadilla, and more tamales for dinner - highly recommend! The gentleman behind the counter is super friendly as well.

I’ve been coming to this liquor store/mexican restaurant for a few years now. It is reliable when it comes to taste, which is surprising considering the restaurant seems quite hidden to the naked eye. They make many mexican dishes that are satisfying and have a lot of flavor. What I like the most about it is that they make good quality vegan plates too which gives me and my friends the best of both worlds.The outdoor patio isn’t the nicest but the food makes up for it. It’s more of a laid back type of place but the flavor isn’t lacking.

Hidden gem! Especially for vegan Mexican food 😋 I get the vegan fish burrito (which is beer bartered tempeh). It’s inside the liquor store, so there’s not really an “atmosphere,” BUT they do have a couple tables & umbrellas outside now. It’s right on the street so it’s almost always breezy, but it’s a hidden gem for a reason. They have parking for customers, so you can easily order and take it with you to the beach etc. The customer service is fine for any lil shop/liquor store but sometimes you have to remind them of the order/modifications but honestly the food is SO GOOD so I don’t care.

Deli is great and has an extensive vegan menu. The shop has all kinds of liquors and snacks at a reasonable price as well. A very convenient location in OB as well. Update 2023-10-03: now that El Jardin is out of business, this is one of the only places in SD that has "real" burritos that happen to have vegan options. It's highly worth checking out the "fish" and the El Surfo burrito.

Liticker's is so good!! My fiance and I are both so happy they have so many vegan options (there are more vegan options than meat options it seems like)! We're excited for more! 😄 I love getting the Vegan Hash Brown Burrito with no vegan sausage, but substituting vegan bacon. 😍😍 Amazing!

This place has the best vegetarian Mexican fast food in town, bar none. It's actually one of the reasons I choose to stay here by the beach. Every time we're here we walk down and grab at least one or two meals a day here. I look forward to eating here every visit.

Just because it's in a liquor store doesn't mean the food isn't awesome. It is! The menu is massive and everything is great. And almost everything can be made vegan. And then the liquor store provides any possible drink you could want. A locals treasure Friendly people too

This place single handedly keeps my vegan Acro partner and love alive and happy. Would we be able to do Acro without them? No. Would marriage be out of the picture without the sustenance they provide? Probably. Naming our first baby Liticker? Definitely. Thanks guys.

Hands down best burrito spot in Ocean Beach. Dare I say San Diego. The menu is huge and expansive. It’s incredible to see a vegan menu this huge. These guys out in an insane amount of work. Amazing tasting rice and beans, yummy salsas, tacos! Burritos, Tortas, quesadillas, tamales. Shoot, even pizzas, burgers and sandwiches. They got it all!

Cheaper than Tacotarian and so flavorful. I used Grubhub. Can’t wait to come in person! I got the tj birria taco, tj asada taco, 3 rolled tacos, and a coke for $30.

This combo could easily be split with a friend as I ate the second half of this meal for breakfast. If you haven’t tried their food, you’re missing out! If you’ve had their food, you know just how delicious it is. This gem is located inside Litickers Liquor on Voltaire between Cable and Bacon.

Grateful for so many vegan options! The food is very flavorful and filling. The prices are nice for the portion sizes. I got the Mini Vegan Birria Taco and Vegan Incredible Burrito. Highly reccomend both. Truly the vegan paradise!

Top notch vegan Mexican food! I order Doordash from these guys all the time and they never disappoint. The proteins they use are really well seasoned and everything I've tried so far has been amazing.

Vegan eats rejoice! There are so many vegan options on the menu and so many for your meat eating friends! I really enjoyed my vegan impossible burrito! I did wish it was either wrapped better or wrapped in tin foil (it was a very messy burrito) We’ll definitely be back to try more vegan options!

Wish I could give more stars the vibes seem cool but their deli/fast food closed early. Got there around 10pm on a Saturday and the store was still open but limited selection on Vegan snacks.

Different prices, different ingredients...Sometimes receiving a totally different burrito from what I ordered. And I did all of those for about 23 to $25 per burrito, that's more expensive than Eweron 😂 I think I'm done supporting this company. I'm tired of not getting for what I pay for and then when I do ask them to redo it or fix it, I get attitude.

I really wanted to like this place... but we were very disappointed. I ordered plain tofu for my three year old and found mold all over it, and I have a hard time believing they didn’t see it as they were cooking it! The guacamole was super dark and looked old, and we were not given the side of rice that we paid for. The food that was edible was ok at best. Go elsewhere!

I just got a torta from here and it was EXTREMELY disappointing. A tiny tiny bit of very old and dry asada. 2 tiny pieces or onion, a smear of old beans and a tiny piece of lettuce. Honestly, the worst torta I’ve ever gotten in my entire life. Sucks when you can’t afford to eat out all the time and you decided to treat yourself and then get trash.

Got a breakfast burrito it was disgusting!!! Beans were old potatoes taste like it was cooked in old oil. The guy who works the counter was rude didn't use gloves! Flies on the counter I guess he don't care. Never again will I eat there. He had wilted cilantro and a old onion sitting on the counter by the register where someone could breathe all on it!! That deli SUCKS!!!! I don't think he washed his hands thoughly. I threw the burrito away $14.00 down the drain a waste!!! Health Department will be contacted for sure!!!!!!

Very disappointed. Check your order before you leave! Ordered a Vegan burrito but when I got home I discovered it was made with real carnitas pork meat!! It was absolutely pork because it had fat chunks!! I was very clear and specified vegan when ordering. I called to let them know of the issue but no answer. I called several times, but they never answered!!! Very unhappy customer!

Edit as of 9/7/2022 My opinion of this place has slowly declined to a rating of 1 star. I used to love this place, but the last three visits have given me such a bitter taste in my mouth, metaphorically speaking. The woman manning the cash register is quite rude, the prices on certain items are way more than you’d see at a comparable Mexican restaurant, and I’ve witnessed two things that have me wondering about a possible health code violation. One burrito we ordered had A LITERAL SCREW in it. When the manager was confronted, he took the screw from me and offered to make me another burrito. He didn’t even attempt to give me a refund or remedy the situation beyond making another burrito. I don’t know how to begin to address that. Secondly, while I was watching them make a burrito for me today (9/7/2022), the man making my food didn’t cover his mouth while he coughed several times - resulting in him coughing all over the hot top where my veggies were being made. Beyond the two major issues mentioned above, they are prone to making mistakes. Over the last year, I’ve had to drive back to the store at least half a dozen times to have them correct a mistake or a make an item that they missed the first time around. Lastly, the food quality has gone downhill.. the food used to be outstanding. We loved coming here because of the quality ingredients. I can’t stand by that sentiment anymore because it’s not true. In summary, I will not be back. Please find another place to eat because it’s only a matter of time before you’re disappointed with the service, food quality, or some other aspect of your experience.
