11/21/2025 Nice and cold a/c. One public restroom you can access. Comfy seating areas in the back. Some sections have outlets you can charge devices.
Huge Starbucks with lots of inside seating. No outside seating. Located on Arturo Somohano Portelo plaza. Usual Starbucks service and products. Good cortado and pastry.
little walk right off our cruise ship and here's the first place I go, loved it! very polite & clean and perfect! yum
A reprieve for a simple cup of coffee. Folks from stateside will appreciate this. Has the look and feel of every Starbucks you’ve ever been to. The staff was incredibly nice.
They had a slightly different menu - but same delicious coffee! Plus my mugs 💝

Fast friendly service even with continual lines. Well located in a quaint bar/restaurant area and near the cruise port.
Plenty of seating! I went to a local cafe and there wasn't enough seating so I ordered a coffee to go but it was so small I came straight to Starbucks to get what I really needed!!!
Right at the heart of old San Juan, PR. For any tourist looking to use a public bathroom. There’s only one bathroom available. You don’t need to be a customer. You just walk all the way to the back and probably wait.
Fresh danish fast service nice clean e cozy
This place was packed. The baristas were still amazing. You can't order ahead which was disappointing. We walked all around SanJuan and this was our last stop. They stated that the PR mugs were discontinued.

I stopped by this morning. The ham and cheese croissant and tea were excellent. Unfortunately all the tables were dirty and it looks like they're in the middle of a remodel of the seating area.
We needed an early coffee run and Starbucks was the only place that was open. Went there and got oat milk latte. Sadly they didn’t have anything gluten free except for the marshmallow rice cake. I was impressed that they had oat milk latte (oatly).

It’s Starbucks food but man the morning shift today was just rude. I was one of 2 customers in the whole store and there were 3 employees and 2 of them were just standing there not contributing at at all. I was in a rush and asked if I could just get 2 cold brew coffees and some food to go and it took 15 minutes to wait for the one guy to finish up the other customers latte and then help. I had said I’m in a rush from the start. I know that I should have been earlier but it’s still absurd for a girl to look me in the face and then not help me only to go back to doing nothing. They also forgot to give me some of the food. EDIT: evening shift was much better. I told them about the forgotten item and they just gave it to me then with no issues. Rating adjusted accordingly

Busy in morning, quite a line and slow moving. Somehow could not order ahead on the app. Also tried to redeem stars for a bakery item but the minimum rewards redemption is 200 stars here. Comfy seating and lots of it. Unique location and history as the first store in Puerto Rico.

The service was extremely slow. They needed additional staff to handle the amount of cutomer traffic they had.
Loved the location, the girl in there was not very friendly and was not happy about me ordering a customized drink.
Micky is very rude. Doesn’t smile and interrupts when trying to place an order.
The customer service and unprofessionalizum by the staff was unacceptable. I felt like I was in a third world country. I am a longtime patron of Starbucks. That knows my Starbucks employees very well that they know me by my name and drink order as I walk in. This place made me feel so uncomfortable. I ordered my drink and I got nothing but eye rolls and heard disrespectful comments between the workers making the drinks in spanish little did they know that I speak spanish. At first I ignored it and sat down to wait for my drink. While waiting I ordered a cup of water from one of the other 3 employees. Then the worker that was rolling her eyes and making comments about us respond for the other employee and said no you can wait. So I walked away again mind you there was no one ordering any drinks while 3 out of the 4 employes were standing there just talking amongst them selves. I got my drink and asked again for my water. Once again this one employe had some comments and eye rolls to her other employes. I sat down and try to enjoy my drink but it was horrible. I asked for another cup so i can try to mix it better and this woman had something to say about that as well. That was it I had enough of her horrible disrespectful attitude I asked for the manager and her name and not one employee wanted to give me her name whenever I tried to look at her name tag she turned so I couldn't see. I told her we are customer, this is a customer service job if you don't like your job then why are you working here. I said I'm going to call your manager and tell him how disrespectful and unprofessional you are, and her response was I don't care, I don't care about this job, and I said then why won't you give me your name. Then the male worker said it's better if we leave, why because we are asking for a manager and her name. Then one of the workers pointed to Juan Carrasquillo the store manager card I'm assuming because he knew his fellow employee was out of line. I will definitely be calling and sending a picture of this woman to the manager Juan Carrasquillo. This woman doesn't deserve to work in a company that is based on customer service. If I could give less stars I would. If you are not a local do not go to this Starbucks there is another coffee shop a couple stores down.
Employees Refuse bathrooms "Restrooms" to clients. Stating both are not working. Meanwhile employees can use them with no problems. Management not available to correct issue.
No bathrooms, cozzy furniture, but unable to use it , a lot of lazzy people that don't want trouble maintaining the place clean !!! A shame !!

Wow…. what a rude couple of girls work there, they may as well have spit in my face. I will not go back there, as much as i like Starbucks, i will not go back there for the next 10 days of my vacation here.
Shame on the owners of this location. We stopped in for coffee. There was a line of people all the way back to the bathrooms. All tables full, and, only TWO young girls working. Apparently the staff had all walked out and these two were trying. It was an impossible task with four cruise ships in Port. We stopped back a couple hours later. They now had three staff, same line. Greedy owners. Should be illegal. Im pretty sure there were no breaks or lunch and the place was a dump with garbage overflowing, spills etc.
I arrived at 6:05 a.m. for a 6:00 a.m. opening and the store was still closed. When a contractor came to the door, a man (who appeared to be a supervisor or manager) opened it to talk with him. The contractor joked, “You’ve got customers waiting,” and the manager replied in Spanish, “They’ll have to wait,” showing zero concern — and he said it right in front of us, without even acknowledging our existence. I think he assumed we didn’t understand Spanish, but I’m a local and did. The other customer waiting beside me didn’t, so they didn’t understand what was being said. When I asked the manager what time the store was supposed to open, he said, “I open when the machines calibrate. If the machines aren’t calibrated, I can’t open. Or do you want uncalibrated coffee, too?” His tone was rude and defensive. If a store advertises a 6:00 a.m. opening, it should either open on time or communicate with customers waiting outside. Very unprofessional attitude from management.
