We sat outside and had a large group. There were a few mix-ups, but we were a little chaotic, so not their fault. Overall it was an excellence dining experience. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean tables. I had the huevos rancheros verde with no sour cream, and it was delicious!

Just had the most incredible lunch at this hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was perfect – cozy yet stylish, with soft jazz playing and the smell of freshly baked bread hitting you right away. The staff were an absolute delight: super attentive, genuinely passionate about the food, and made us feel like regulars on our first visit. Ordered the truffle mushroom risotto and the grilled octopus to start – both were flawless. The risotto was creamy without being heavy, with that perfect earthy truffle kick, and the octopus was charred to perfection with a lemon-herb dressing that I’m still dreaming about. My partner got the daily special (seared sea bass with saffron sauce) and literally didn’t speak for five minutes because they were too busy making happy food noises

Got into town early and my hotel room wasn’t ready yet, so I asked the staff for a good breakfast recommendation. Without hesitation, they suggested San Pedro Café—just a short two-block walk away. The place had such a cool vibe, a perfect mix of locals, cruise travelers, and even a monkey! I ordered the French toast, and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’m so glad the hotel recommended this spot—just sad I’ll only get to enjoy it again the next time I’m back for another cruise.

Chose to eat here based on reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The portions were large. The food was delicious. I loved the home style potatoes and my son had the breakfast sandwich and it was fabulous! The service was top notch. Glad I chose to give them a try.

Ordered classic breakfast with pancakes combo. Everything in there was cooked to perfection as ordered, not over or under cooked. Pork sausage was firm and tasty, perfect to be eaten with over easy eggs. Close the meal with berries and fluffy cakey pancakes. Friendly service overall from greeter, waiter, and cleaner.

Everything was excellent! The service, food and atmosphere were all great. The cinnamon swirl pancakes were fantastic! Bacon cooked perfectly as well as the eggs. Will most likely be back in the next few days while we are here visiting.

Went here for breakfast one morning when staying in San Pedro near the harbor. We were seated right away. There’s nothing really fancy about the restaurant, but the food was terrific. Large portions, and delicious! The staff was very friendly. It was clean and well staffed. There is an outdoor area as well.

First time here. Walking in you are automatically welcomed, service was on point, friendly, smiles all around. Food was AMAZING and FRESH!!!! Pancakes were so fluffy. 2 egg breakfast with an extra egg 😋Definitely recommend stopping here🥰

First time visiting, so I can't give a full review on the food. I had breakfast, and it was good. However, hands down, the customer service was some of the best I've experienced in years. Because of the great service and wonderful attitude of the servers and staff, I will be back to eat again and can give more reviews on the food.

I have passed the San Pedro Café many times, but it wasn't until a friend invited me to join her for breakfast did I actually eat there. Both my friend and I had the veggie egg scramble. Mine with home fries and a tortilla. My friend opted for an English muffin. The meals quickly arrived and they were VERY GOOD! There was a good amount of vegetables and cheese in both. The eggs were warm and cooked to near perfection for a scrambled. Topped off with good coffee it was the perfect breakfast! The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. AND... there was parking in the back of the building. Plus, the price of the breakfast was very reasonable compared to other local establishments. I will definitely come back.

The pancakes are fluffy and cake-like, gently brightened with lemon. Fresh berries are offered as an add-on rather than a given, but when included, they provide a welcome pop of freshness that neatly rounds out the plate. Service, however, struggles under the weight of a packed Sunday morning. With much of the neighborhood closed, the café fills quickly, and a single server is left managing the room. While everyone is friendly and clearly doing their best—from greeting to table clearing—the pace inevitably lags, and attentiveness slips through no fault of effort. Still, San Pedro Cafe earns its place as a reliable neighborhood destination. It doesn’t chase trends or spectacle; instead, it delivers a well-executed breakfast with care and consistency—one worth returning to, ideally on a quieter morning when the service can match the food’s assured calm.

We always order our coffee with Kahlua or baileys. Yum! The food is always good, with a large menu. It’s always busy, maybe just slightly understaffed, therefore sometimes service is slow. The parking lot is small, so be prepared to find street parking or parking somewhere else.
