I have been at many many El Pollo Loco locations since the early 80s. I happen to be doing some business in the city of San Pedro about 55 miles away from 91786. The staff was friendly. The staff assisted me ordering through the app so I can get my specials and my discounts. The food was excellent and served hot and I was given a dog bowl for some water for my puppies and also a large cup not a tiny cup for ice water. Israel was very sweet and so is the rest of the staff. This EPL should show other EPL locations that this is the way customer should be treated: with knowledge and manners, and of course great tasting food. Kudos to EPL San Pedro on Gaffey!

We visited from idaho on our way to take a cruise the staff were friendly one woman on her break even assisted me in unlocking the bathroom my wife use to eat el Pollo loco alot and told me about how awesome the green sauce is, it did not disappoint. I grew up on the east coast (Florida) we don't have electricity pollo loco were im from it was really delicious and very fast would definitely recommend for anyone traveling through to try it i give it a 10/10

Great service at this location I don't come here often but was craving a salad. I normally always use coupons when I come here but I didn't today. I just wish the kids meal came with milk but I stopped to get some beforehand. The dining room was clean and they had an employee keeping the salsa station stocked and clean. I like the fact they asked me how many ranch packets I wanted, I ordered two salads. Great customer service !!

Time of day makes a big difference. Going at 10:30-11am seems like the sweet spot where I can visit the drive thru, order and receive everything I want without issue. After 5pm on several occasions they were out of the chicken I wanted to order. It's not a big deal, but it is mildly annoying. I really like that this location has a drive thru & they've always been plenty polite, it's just unfortunate that stopping here after work to pick up a larger family meal doesn't always work out.

First and foremost, I love El Pollo Loco. Me this experience has not changed that fact, nor am I going to stop using this location. I’ll probably be using it a little less than usual after tonight, only because it’s the closest location to me. To me, it’s the little things that matter. And I usually always let a few mistakes go by without a seconds thought, but when there’s multiple made, and not even an attempt to at least say, “I’m so sorry about that.” Or “Here, let’s see what we can do.” Etc., it needs to be noted, especially in the fast food industry. Because if there’s no customer service, or a genuine attempt to go out of your way for the customer, that means every area of that store has the same attitude towards it as well. So to keep it simple, the problems I had were these. I placed an order at 6:45 PM to be ready at 8:00 PM for pick up. I arrived at 8 PM and was told it was almost ready. Not a problem, I wasn’t in a rush. But then was asked 10 minutes later, “what order were you waiting for?” Kinda frustrated me, considering I was the only customer in the store at the time. But whatever, I received my order a few minutes later and went home only to find out that I only received 1 order of my churros instead of what I ordered, which was 2. Frustrated, but not mad I called the store and let them know, and their only comment was for me to come back and pick them up. I told them they were a 20 minute ride from me since I’m on a scooter and couldn’t return tonight. So she advised me to bring the receipt back some other time and they would give me the rest of my order. But I don’t keep receipts from fast food, and I toss them immediately and told her I don’t have the receipt anymore..... that’s when I just gave up told her forget it, thanks anyways. There wasn’t anyone I spoke to there that seemed to care in the slightest to at least say they were sorry for the wait, or sorry for messing your order up. A genuine apology would’ve kept this review from being written. I don’t expect perfection, I’m far from it, but after the nonchalant attitude I got when I called regarding my missing item, it needed to be written.

Terrible customer service if not one of the worst I had. And the food well ... I ask for crunchy shredded chicken 🐔 tacos 🌮 and instead I got kind of burn chunk chicken wannabe tacos. I noticed until I got home unfortunately. Otherwise I would've say something in the same minute I got them

Wrong order, very cold interior. Threw away half of the order and went elsewhere. One staff asked me if I needed something. I asked for correct food. She walked away saying nothing. Never will I go back to this chain

I came to this location today with my son I will say that the communication with the workers was 100% the communication or the intercom was good no problems there however I ordered a tostada salad and my son got a two-piece the meat was old it tastes like the chicken had been made early this morning my son's thigh was hard Chris as if it had been heated up from a earlier meal the chicken from my double tostada chicken tostada salad was old so old it didn't even taste like chicken I was really disappointed I paid $40 for a meal and we did not enjoy it at all old chicken nothing fresh we also ordered a chicken quesadilla with green sauce disgusting it had a copy amount of cheese in it an old like the same chicken was used in the tostada salad and the same old chicken in the two piece I would give it a zero but I had to write it in order to make a review I would say that they need to bring fresh chicken El Pollo loco is known for its fresh grilled chicken and I was so disappointed in this very nasty no good
