For breakfast taco lovers, it is a great place to go. Tacos are small compared to breakfast bonitos, so expectation management is key. The price per taco is ok, not great, but doable. The taste is amazing though and the salsa options too. I recommend the bacon, egg, and cheese, as well as the bean and cheese tacos. My kids get bean and cheese with bacon.

I will say that they make better tacos than most taco places !

I could offer high praises on the food alone, but Michelle at the front counter elevated this experience to an absolute all star stratosphere level!!!! Michelle made me feel welcomed and at home within seconds of walking in the door and she continued that magnificent service with all the other patrons. She could & maybe should be working at a Michellen star restaurant because her attention, affection and service was truly top of the line and some of the best service I have ever experienced in the food industry. Had some issues with a delivery service not cooperating with me whatsoever on my order and had to get my friend to go and grab my food. The restaurant went out of there way to not only get my food ready for him, but made me double my order to make up for the experience they had nothing to do with. Would eat here again!

No-touch hand sanitizer in the restaurant, and flatware brought out with your food, not left out where people can touch. I'll give this place 4 stars. Here are 2 reasons why they didn't get 5 stars. 1. I ordered 2 beyond meat crispy tacos and when I got back on the road and decided to eat my tacos the taco shell was very stale. 2. You have to wait a long time for your food because they are always so busy. I went back on a Monday early afternoon and this time I ordered through the app because the drive and inside line was packed. I ordered the beyond meat no shell cabana bowl and I must say it was pretty good and the lady who brought my food out was very nice.

To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of Taco Cabana. It's not that their food is bad, it is pretty good, it just doesn't scratch my taco itch. Now that's out of the way, the customer service here is top notch. I'm not sure who the drive thru attendant is, but every time I go at night he is working. He is hands down one of the friendliest drive-thru employees I've ever dealt with. All the employees there are great to deal with and it keeps me coming back.

We originally gave this particular Taco Cabana a 1 star because the afternoon crew was horrible and rude. They gave serious attitude to my husband. Then they served me with cold food and tortillas that were falling apart and hard. For some reason they gave my husband attitude and he is the last person you want to give attitude to because he's the nicest guy you'll ever meet and so polite there was no reason for these ladies to treat him badly or give attitude. Maybe these ladies were having a bad day but regardless that does give them the right to be rude to the customer. We got our food and mine was cold, my beans and rice were ice cold while my husband's food was hot. My husband thinks they thought my meal was his so they were going to serve him the cold meal. Now we don't know if that's true it's only speculation. However we did come back during morning and had hot breakfast with great service. So the morning crew is great. Today we went to have some breakfast and it was great. We got home and realized my husband dropped his wallet and it would have been at Taco Cabana. He called them and they were nice to go out to the parking lot and check for his wallet and sure enough it was there. Very nice morning crew. We appreciate them so much. Love Taco Cabana. Afternoon workers need a class in respect but the morning crew are awesome and great workers.

The best fast food authentic Mexican always made fresh, along with the authentic salsa + Pico that is made daily. It's nice to see the salsa bar is actually being used again, post covid. Most of the restaurants are much older and in desperate need of remodels.

Building needs painting bad.. Service a little slow but food was good and hot. People very nice and helpful. With new paint and lot wash, would be more attractive. Add that requests for condiments sometimes are forgotten or left out.

This is my first time having Taco Cabana and I have to say, for a fast-food establishment, the food is pretty good. I ordered delivery from here and despite delivery taking a few minutes the food was still hot and fresh. We ordered two burritos, and two loaded fries and they all came out well. They forgot some utensils, and condiments but aside from minor stuff, it was overall good food. If I were needing a quick bite and didn’t want something as fast-food like, while still being budget friendly, I would come here!

After traveling across the country from the West Coast towards the East coast we started seeing in New Mexico these Taco Cabanas. We ended up seeing them everywhere coming across the states of New Mexico & Texas and were starting to wonder about this little tiny establishment. We pulled into Chili's just outside of San Antonio Texas and got turned away. (the wait was too long). Looked across the road, there was a Taco Cabana! Eureka might as well stop in and see what the fuss is all about since we keep seeing them. After ordering delicious chicken soft tacos and ground beef enchilada plates... I had to tell the manager that I was from Southern California and thought we had the lock on Mexican food. I also let him know that I was glad they proved me wrong! Taco Cabana is worth the stop from anywhere. P.S - I almost forgot to mention that they also have margaritas and Fireball with Jack Daniels as your favorite side sipping after-dinner cocktails. Too bad I wasn't camping tonight or I would have had a few myself. 😎 ~V.

9 times out of 10, I get home to find my order incorrect. I've been shorted items, I've gotten food I never ordered and it's very frustrating to call and report the errors. They have always honored my corrections on my return visit but many times I need what I ordered and I'm not able to go back up there a second time in one day. Food quality varies but is mostly good. I think they need to repair the drive thru speaker.

Menu system was down & there was confusion about what to order initially. Finally overcame that hurdle, We were trying to order the breakfast combo meal with a drink. The good news: the price was reasonable under $4 per combo. However the bean and cheese was very watered-down and the potato and egg wasn't the freshest. All-in-all could be because they were phasing out of breakfast mode. Will go back and try it again.

More often than not.... my order is wrong. Like seriously, 3 of the past 5. Let's talk SOUR CREAM..... when a customer asks to leave this off, just please leave it off. NEVER COVER IT UP WITH A SCOOP OF PICO DEGALLO. Your meal is in my trash can, and I remain hungry. NOT HAPPY.

I felt like an inconvenience to the person ordering my food and he just swiped my card, left it on the counter, and walked away (I had to reach around the counter to get my receipt.) Food took a very long time to be prepared and the prep team was complaining about customers and the line the whole time. After I got my food turns out he put my order in wrong (should have more closely checked that receipt I grabbed) but by then I was running late and was starving so I took it. My Cabana bowl was barely luke warm at best but my husband's tacos were fine. The drive through was so long I didn't get back in to get the hot food I paid for. We also asked the employee taking our order for extra salsa. Then we asked the person at the window if they gave us extra and she assured us she did but we only got the standard two containers. ☆I appreciate that the owner responded after this post with info on who to contact with any problems that customers may have. But there is nothing that irritates me more than asking specifically for something more than once from multiple employees and they don't care enough to check the order to make sure it's correct. I've ALWAYS stressed that I am more than willing to pull out of line and wait for hot food or changes to menu standards.

This is a chain restaurant that has reasonable texmex style food located near I-10. It was not crowded when we visited. The salsa bar had thick salsa in three flavors so it is possible to choose the amount of spicy desired for the meal. The is self serve beverages, too.

I've been here twice over the last 2 years. I've experienced excellent and fast service both times. The good is fresh and made once ordered.

Traveling. Lost our order! Already paid and on a time frame! The staff was apologetic and Made it as fast as they could after my wife noticed a lot of other customers getting there orders after my children's order. I was upset but that's why she handled it. As a dad! I was an hour past scheduled! The one star was for the restaurant! The second was earned by the staff!

From my last review service has declined considerably. The cashier made us repeat ourselves twice and still got the order incorrect. When it was taken back someone in the back commented, "is she saying that to get free food?" While my wife might go back, I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

Tacos here taste funny and gave everyone an upset stomach. They were super greasy, and the flavor was not typical for Taco Cabana. We stopped here because of a road trip. Next trip, we will wait for the next location along the way.

Menu never fails, food is ok, staff was great, the place was dirty, the restrooms are just to use in case of emergency and the salsa bar didn't pass the eye trust, so it was a no go, if you're eating here just get the Drive-thru or have a fun experience

I was in town for a work assignment and stopped in for lunch. They weren't busy at all, so my order was taken pretty quickly. I ordered a lime margarita and the chicken fajita nachos. The margarita was just ok, but I guess I got what I paid for, considering it was only $3.25. I was really disappointed with the nachos, mostly because the chicken was cold and I could tell it wasn't freshly prepared. When I do return to the area for work, I'm definitely not considering them for another lunch.

Your staff were huddle at the cash register trying to correct someone mistake, never acknowledge our presence and tone of voice not very professional. Didn't even apologize after we said we were leaving. We were hungry so we went thru drive thru, service was much better. We had driven back from Florida and tired so we had wanted to go inside but not to wait and hear arguing.

When we pulled up the trash can outside has not been emptied in quite a while was over flowing and bunch trash on the ground. Then we got super crunchy rice, you could not eat it was so gross. The salsa bar looked like they had left it there all day it looked and smelled really bad. Probably would steer clear of this location.

i ordered online pickup, got the bean and cheese combo and my husband got the 3 enchilada plate with a margarita, pick up time was quick so that was nice but when he brought the bag to the car the enchilada sauce was all at the bottom of the bag, my chips were just thrown all over the place and they didn’t put the lettuce or cheese on my husband’s enchiladas, the strawberry margarita he got wasn’t even mixed either, the syrup was all at the bottom, overall just very messy and sloppy work, it’s sad that you kinda have to eat inside if you want a good experience

The white lady cashier was sweet and helpful but I asked for a taco bowl just the bowl and between 3 people there they couldn’t figure out how to charge me. The guy with glasses said I had to buy the whole bowl which is nuts because I’ve ordered this to dip in queso at other TC’s without issue. Then I get back to the table with queso blanco that’s watery and too spicy and the chips were stale. I had to ask them to exchange them told them to taste em but they didn’t. Mind you it was 12:15/12;39, so they been handing out stale chips all day. Ridiculous. The next batch was fresh but next time I’m getting regular queso the queso blanco wasn’t as special as the ad gave off. I usually love the blanco but not at this location. The mango pie was the tastiest thing tho.

Charged for food which was not received; causing additional family members to miss a meal that they ordered. Store manager said "sorry" come get them or get next time you are here. That's fine, but the meal for the family was ruined by incompetent management, and cannot be repaired by 2 bean and cheese tacos the next time in the area.

Went in and got out at 5:50 PM. Lady had a bad attitude for no reason way before we even ordered. Came here tonight with my wife and the cashier was rude and unfriendly. We tried to make friendly conversation and she blew us off. After fixing our drinks she slammed my drink on the counter. So I ordered 4 margaritas and a bean and cheese taco to be picked up curbside. When I arrived at the store the call feature on the app wouldn't work and the door was locked so I couldn't go inside. Therefore I went thru the drive thru and when I got to the window the girl was very rude and asked what my name was so I told her and she asked for my ID after scanning my ID she proceeded to get my order together and then comes to the window and hands me the taco and closes the window without saying anything. Then comes back and hands me a lime margarita and a mango margarita. Then very sharply says like and mango and closes the window and walks away. Now I had ordered 2lime,1 coconut and 1 mango. So I sat there almost 5 minutes before she came back and asked what I wanted and I said I ordered 4 margaritas and she says that she only saw 2 on the receipt so I pulled the receipt out of the bag and handed it to her and she walked over to another girl and showed her and she rolled her eyes but started making the other drinks. Then the drive thru girl opened the window and shoved the other two margaritas into my hands and slammed the window shut. Then after I get home and drink my margaritas and my friend drank his I opened my bean and cheese taco to find beef fajita and bean with no cheese. To say the least I'm very disappointed with the service.

Worst service and food ever. The drive thru line was around the building and when I finally got to the window, I watched the employees goof around wearing over size hats and ponchos for Cinco de Mayo. I do love the celebration but you are there to work. As a result the order wasn't complete and they had to complete the order. My steak fajitas were lukewarm and the chips were burned.

Extremely Bad and Poor Service topped off with disappointing first time ever going to one of these wannabe Mexican fast food restaurants. Just could not force myself to take more than one swallow of that disgusting thing in a plastic diaper. Called Corporate to inform them of what most likely they we’re already aware of but of course no response. Days later have yet to find a solution to take away the horrible smell.

Went to the drive-through yesterday and told that they didn’t have any meat products except ground beef. I ordered a ground beef taco and was told there was no shredded cheese. So I drove away. Back today and no one took my order at the speaker for five minutes. So I drove up to the window and honked and after two minutes a guy inside waved at me. It took him three more minutes to come and ash me what I needed. I told him no one had taken my order for 10 min and his reply was “sorry I don’t work the drive-through and nobody has the headset on.” So I drove away again. I guess I’m a slow learner..

TC has gone downhill FAST over the last several years. It was never the best, but it used to be good enough for a quick treat. Now it's just horrible. Crunchy refried beans taste like cardboard. Tiny misshapen sticky tortillas and no love given to the food. Employees seem checked out at all locations, and the attention to detail/oversight it obviously severely lacking. The only thing they do consistently is being dirty.

This place is filthy, the front door going in was sticky and covered in soda spilt all over it patio and sidewalks need pressure washing , there is trash everwhere outside! Both bathrooms are filthy ! Only 4 people ordering orders were mixed up and they continuously asked me what went on each taco and still got it messed up ! I told a worker the bathroom was bad - they went in with a broom and flushed the toilet then went back into kitchen and proceeded to tske orders znd touch cups with out washing hands ! Do not stop here! Cant even give 1 star!

You’re better off buying a can of beans and eating in your car …. 10 minutes in the drive through with one car ahead. Defeats the entire purpose of fast food drive through… but these people get paid by hour and cheap so I wouldn’t want to work either

Hands-down the worst Taco Cabana I've ever visited. We waited in the drive-through line for over thirty minutes. The drive-through worker shoved a bag at us and slammed the window after we paid. They didn't give us half our order. We were told to drive around and stand at the patio for them to bring us the rest of our order. My husband has now been standing outside in 37 degree weather for twenty minutes waiting for the indifferent workers to make this right, and he has been joined by another drive-through customer who's in the same boat as us.

Update again 10-1-25. I ordered a family size nachos around 8pm. Steak and chicken and pico with extra cheese. They asked if I wanted beans I said no twice. They still put the beans on. So I saved it with receipt that I said no beans I’m allergic and will be talking to my lawyer after I get out of the hospital. Update, I’m trying here again got here at 5pm on Saturday the4/6/24 now 5:37pm and still not at the window to get my food. Only 6 cars ahead of me. This is ridiculous. It’s much worse Quaso taste bad. Not like it used to be 20 years ago

I waited in the dive thru for an HOUR! They didn't even know what foods they were out of. I had pound on the drive thru window 3 or 4 times to get a response about my missing food. I had to repeatedly ask for plastic ware to use to eat my food. I saw 3 people who appeared to be workers, but only 1 appeared to be doing anything. The limes in my container were spoiled. I wasn't able to get salsa or Pico. I don't think anyone working there cared at all.

I often order bean burritos because they are cheap but satisfying BUT today I ordered a bean burrito and received ONLY beans no cheese etc. Normally you get a burrito without the meat and you still get rice lettuce cheese etc. I also ordered 2 small ice waters and was charged $1.99 each any other day/time the ice water has been free or half price. So normally I get the 2 bean burritos and 2 ice waters for $8.... Today I left with 1 burrito just beans and 2 ice waters.... Very disappointed.

Restrooms were absolutely filthy Also No hand soap, NO toilet paper. NO hand paper towels. I mentioned to manager & she said they haven’t had time to get to it. Place should be inspected immediately. No never any excuses for allowing a restroom to get that severely dirty. It hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

I ordered 2 tacos. They were out of Steak Fajita meat. I ordered Chicken fajita with guacamole and a carne guisada. Fajita came with a smudge of guacamole which I could NOT taste. The carne guisada was ALL gravy with little to NO beef...all chipped beef, NO BEEF TIPS.

My family and I were passing by from vacation and decided to stop in here. The guy taking the order was nice, but we should have known when he said he does eat there, we should have left. They didn't have half the stuff we asked for. We sat down, and the restaurant seating area was gross and not cleaned at all. After 30 minutes of waiting, one of the employees came out and said he was sorry, but they didn't have beans, and it would only be a little longer. 45 minutes later and we asked for a refund when 2 ordered after us got their food first. It has been a long while since I have been to any taco cabanas that were worth eating at, but I would not recommend going here at all.

Walked in and waited for 5 minutes. Were told by another customer they were having problems and they didn't have a lot of their menu. That we probably would be waiting for quite awhile for our food since she was. After 8 minutes of seeing no employees to take our order we left. I love taco cabana but I'll never come back to this one

Got the carne asada cabana bowl and it had no flavor to it whatsoever! Order was $20 totally not worth it!

The food is not on par compared with other Taco Cabana chains. It's served as though they could not care less about whether you come back.(carelessly and sometimes cold) Their hours say they open at 6 yet they'll leave you in the drive through without acknowledging you. When they do finally serve you they are polite and the margaritas are the one item that I did enjoy!

The service sucked. They got half the order wrong, the atmosphere was slow and boring, the order took forever to take, they got the "no beans" order wrong twice for both my father and I, and it's quite expensive for sub-par food. And their carne esada was NOT carne asada.

Not worth the money, we ordered on Uber and they didn’t had rice, they sent same salsa for everything, and I ordered a quesadilla and they sent 3 tacos since they didn’t wanted to turn on the grill, so why show as open if you don’t want to work?, the tacos were so sad, just 3 little strips of meet and nothing else. The Uber driver did call me about the order but I never thought it was going to be this disappointing, they didn’t even sent napkins, forks, nothing, I spent 40 dollars on this food, get something else.

Terrible quesadilla. Barely any cheese and barely any chicken. Go to one of the local spots in town instead. I’ve been to countless other Taco Cabanas and never gotten such a flat and white quesadilla.

5/30/23 I ordered three tacos this morning and all of them were raw, cold, gooey chorizo in an actual raw, gooey uncooked tortilla. I was back on the road by the time I discovered this so I'll try to get my refund straight from corporate. But this wasn't just an oversight, this was 100% cruelty. There's no way anyone in that restaurant didn't notice everything was cold and RAW. What a bunch of a$$holes

My family and I attempted to go through the drive-thru and our attendant could not get our order right. After about 10 minutes of repeating and clarifying we decided to just go inside. We ordered a dozen breakfast tacos that was supposed to be $15.99 before tax. Somehow we ended up paying $23.98 for the following order! 2 bacon/egg/cheese 2 bacon/egg/cheese + potatoes 2 chorizo/egg/cheese + bacon 4 chorizo/egg/cheese 2 steak/egg/cheese We were told we pay extra for adding toppings. We only added potatoes to two tacos which would have been $0.98 per taco, and bacon at $1.58 per taco. Yet, we ended up paying an extra $7.99 more! I might as well ordered every taco individually, or really just have gone somewhere else. This is fast food and I paid a little less than $25 for 12 breakfast tacos. SMH.

Ordered a steak quesadilla and opened the box to a SPIDER in the box. Immediately threw it away to avoid the spider getting in my car. Don’t recommend.

This place is a dump. Someone sprayed cleaner on the bar in front of the drink machine and salsa bar then just walked off and left it. Bar area was half empty, too. Food quality has gone so far to hell that the "fajita chicken" isn't even identifiable as chicken, so our kid refused to eat it. Small quesadilla had barely any meat or cheese in it. It was mostly just two dried out tortillas. We could have gone to Taco Bell for less money and the same crummy food quality. Edited to add that the staff was blaring obnoxious music so loud that we couldn't hear each other across the table.

The dining room was FILTHY. Bathroom was FILTHY. They can't tell the difference between steak and chicken in a quesadilla. Clean your restaurant! Food quality wasn't half want most TC restaurants serve up. This location has gone down hill fast! Stay away.

I usually love taco cabana but these last 2 times were horrible. Food tasted so old and left out and had a funny after taste. Chips were so stale not even worth eating and received falutas that looked so dark and chicken inside was hard like they were old and just refried.

I ordered ground beef nachos. What I received was disgusting. The chips were covered in beans with very very little meat and cheese. Very disappointed with the quality of food. I will not be going back

Giving 1 star because it has to be at least one to post but I’d leave none if I could.September 28,2025 @ 9:56pm in Seguin Texas.We had been driving for 6 hours( with kids) and stopped for dinner . We went through the drive thru due to the lobby being closed. No cars were in line. We ordered several meals and took a few extra seconds to answer which drink we wanted to complete our order. The cashier yelled ”drink” very loud and rudely when we were finishing up our last order. I moved to the window and tried to wave down the cashier that clearly saw me and she didn’t respond. I then honked the horn for her to come to the window. Another woman that wasn’t even near the window or in plain sight came to speak with me. I stated that I didn’t appreciate being yelled at about a drink. She stated that maybe the other cashier wanted to make sure I heard the question. As an employee/ manager there should’ve been an apology to the customer when they were clearly upset. I felt like I was an inconvenience to them and let them know we would not be completing our order.

TC has really gone down over the years and prices keep going up as portions get smaller. We only stopped bc there was not much more near the highway. First the drive thru and nobody said anything to us for 10 mins, backed out and went inside. The wait was 15 minutes just to get someone to say hi to us and take our order. Honestly if you can't even staff a place shut it down and notify corporate of what's going on. No napkins, chips are stale and if this is what you call a shredded chicken taco try again. Worst service for a chain restaurant continues. Guess I'll wait a few years before I ever try again
