I've been here several times (more than I care to admit), and they never disappoint. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The portions are very generous as well. I highly recommend and can't wait to come back! Pictured are the seafood cobb salad with crab meat and shrimp (take out) and a couple of martinis at the bar. Also the shrimp and crawfish fondeaux as well as the roasted oysters were fantastic. The salad is my go to, but everything I've tasted has been wonderful (scallops, stuffed shrimp, mozzarella sticks, swordfish are all delicious...probably forgetting a few items 😬)

My husband and I were enjoying a beautiful date night. We had the most wonderful waitress whose name was Lauren and found out that this was only her 2nd shift. Let me be the first to say she represented herself like a seasoned veteran. She was courteous, friendly and professional. She was an excellent representation of what we have come to expect from Pappadeaux. This is in part why we continue to come back. This was our first time coming here and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is decorated really nicely and the service is excellent. I recommend making a reservation in advance because it is very popular. The food was very good and well prepared. I definitely recommend the crispy red fish, the desserts are also very tasty, I really enjoyed the sweet potato and pecan pie. Overall the food is amazing and you enjoy a very nice dinning experience.

Really good place. Food is great and our server was very nice and attentive! Definitely will remember this place. Once you eat here you will never have seafood the same. Definitely recommend going here if you want to spend some money for something savory and memorable.

The appetizer was shrimp and crawfish fondeaux with garlic bread A. 10 Shrimp gumbo A. 9 my wife had  Pan-grilled halibut, jumbo lump crab, red chile, capers, lemon butter, spinach Parmesan fregola A. 10+ best fish I’ve ever put in my mouth. I had the seafood platter and added soft shell crab A. 10 the stuffed shrimp from my seafood platter was mouth watering 🤤 And the Keylime pie was well A. 10 also. All the food was so amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Now we are driving home in Atlanta rush hour traffic 🤦🏻 5 1/2 hours with bumper to bumper traffic right now on full belly’s 😴 🙏🏼

The atmosphere always gets me. The flowers at the entrance are beautiful. ( I’m a flower girl so I’m very excited to see how well things are landscaped.) The drinks are on point, I can only drink one margarita, they had enough Patron in my margarita for three people!! 😝😝 You will get your money worth for sure on the drinks and the food. I love the soft shell crabs, trust me when I say they are fried to perfection and so darn delicious, best around here unless you want to drive to Virginia!! The oysters are very good as well. You can’t go wrong when visiting Pappadeaux everything is on point each time we have dined in here. Y’all get a A again and I’m a hard grader!!! 😜😝

I absolutely love this restaurant. What a delicious birthday dinner! We arrived around happy hour; the bar was full ( many games on tv) but restaurant was near empty until about 6ish. Our waiter was was super tentative- very friendly- and knowledgeable concerning the menu. All our meals were made fresh so piping hot. Everything was seasoned perfectly & good portion sizes! We even took home leftovers.

I haven't been to Pappadraux in a long long time, but I must say it was a great dining experience. We went around 4:30-4:45 ( trying to beat the dinner crowd) . Beautiful restaurant. Clean, great atmosphere. They have one of the best Margaritas I've had in a while. Our server was Alex. Really nice guy. Brought our drinks and food out in a timely fashion. Didn't have to ask for refills. He had everything on point, and the food.... Excellent. I recommend the Snapper with spinach. It was so good!! And my son loved the Catfish. We both complimented the chef. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been to this location several times. Depending on the day of the week and time, it can be quite busy. We went on a Friday afternoon at 12:30. Surprisingly, there was no wait at all. Our server was really good and attentive. We all ordered from the lunch special menu, which had big portions. All of our dishes were cooked perfectly and tasted consistently good like always. Every dish I’ve ever ordered from Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen has been great. This will continue to be a go-to for great Cajun food and strong delicious drinks.

The staff here are so very friendly and kind. They're helpful and skilled. It's a highlight! The decor is matched to the cuisine and was updated for Mardi Gras. The mixed drinks are great. The Swamp Thing! Food is average; you wont find big cajun spices here, so safe for most palettes. On my recent visit I loved that the food came out hot! So many places bring warm food that's cold by bite 5. There's a huge parking lot, but its full on peak days/hours, so plan for that. Nice outdoor areas.

We were in the AtL for the weekend. Decided to go have a meal at Pappadeaux. Our server was Shayla and she was absolutely wonderful. She was thorough answering our food questions and very attentive to our needs. She made sure our beverage glasses were full. Our meals were delicious. I had shrimp & grits with a bowl of the seafood gumbo. Absolutely delicious!! The roux was perfect. My husband had the seafood salad. Shayla took the time to make it the old way which made my husband most happy. Beautiful presentation, lots of shrimp & crab. He enjoyed it immensely. There was only one uncomfortable experience. We asked Shayla to have the manager come by our table so we could commend her excellent service. The manager was standing across the room, just standing there, we were seated in a position to have a clear view of him. Well, we watched as she motioned for the manager to go to our table, he looked at her in a very unenthusiastic way, she had to motion for him to come 3 times. She pointed to our table and we seen the grimace come across his face. It was clear we were imposing on him and coming to our table was not something he wanted to do. After a few minutes he came over to our table, I complemented Shayla's service and he could have cared less. I honestly couldn't understand most of what he said, at the end of our brief interaction I did clearly hear him say we should give her a review online. The date of our visit was Sept 14th, 2025 around 3:00 in the afternoon. So to the manager that was on duty, kindness should be bestowed on every single customer that chooses to dine at your restaurant, each should feel important & valued. How many restaurants in the Atlanta area do we have to choose from? We choose your restaurant, Pappadeaux.

The food was great, except for the drinks. They are tiny drinks that are very watered down for $13 (my mother and I had just a basic cocktail, that wasn't one of the specials,). The waiters/waitress were very kind and on top of their game! The atmosphere was great but there are so many speakers that it can be hard to find a table where you're not sitting underneath one or underneath a vent (which during the summer, I'm totally not opposed to!!) it's just the speakers that got me. I had to basically mini yell to the people at my table, as did other people at their tables, so it can it very loud. Even still, I recommend it for people to go to!!!

We stopped by here on a Friday for an early dinner, around 530 pm. The service was very good. The wait staff did a great job. Over all, the food was fine and enjoyable meal. We really enjoyed the fried calamari and octopus, I highly recommend that dish. The fry was light and crispy. So very good. 😊 The actual dinner dishes were fine. I have had better seafood but at the same time I have had worse. I can say the portions are very generous. Overall, it was a fine dinning experience. If you are in the area and want seafood you can certainly do worse then coming here.

Have always loved their menu, and despite being a chain the food has always been consistent and you could even say better than a normal chain. Just was missing something tonight. Pappadeaux used to be my absolute favorite place to eat, but lately the quality of the food has gone downhill. On Thursday, I ordered dinner to-go for myself and my son: the half chicken meal, a crab cake, and a Caesar salad. The crab cake alone is $35, which is pricey—but in the past, it was worth it because it was filled with crab meat and very little filler. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. This crab cake tasted more like cornbread dressing with very little crab. I took it back and spoke with Tyler, the manager, who was very nice and accommodating. He replaced the crab cake and added a dessert for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. However, when I got home, the replacement crab cake was still lacking crab meat. I was extremely disappointed but too exhausted from a long workday to go back again. The Caesar salad came with what appeared to be butter on the side instead of Caesar dressing, which was odd and disappointing. The chicken was decent, but it wasn’t grilled and lacked the garlic and rosemary flavor the dish is supposed to have. For $88, plus a $15 tip on a to-go order, I expect the food to be consistently good. Sadly, this experience fell far short of what I’ve come to expect from Pappadeaux. This is the Alpharetta location.
