Stopped in today to try the Tacos. Friendly staff. I ended up ordering 3 Carne Asada Street tacos and a Baja Fish Taco. I have to say I really enjoyed the tacos. The carne Asada was flavorful and the fresh salsas were outstanding. Just the right heat and smokeyness. The fish taco was flavorful and was seasoned just right. The fish was fresh, but it was a bit more chewy than I expected. Still good though. I'll definitely be back.
We have followed them for years, since we used to live in the Valley and went to Granada Hills for the Friday night food trucks, where they were always there and the lines were always long. Luckily, they opened their restaurant in Simi Valley, in our neighborhood. We love their tacos. My husband’s favorite is the pork belly, mine are the potato tacos, and my daughter’s are the birria tacos. The chips are homemade, and they give free refills on horchata. The owners are usually there, and they are very nice. Today we were spoiled with free dessert—fresh churros—and extra chicken for our doggy. Highly recommended, the best tacos in Simi.
We were in the neighborhood for my son's football game and wanted a quick bite. A Google search for nearby tacos led me to this place. It's a great little spot, good food, nice and clean and super friendly service! Garlic the counter asked if we had been before and we told her we hadn't. She really perked up and started telling us about everything on the menu. She gave us tons of options to choose from in her own personal recommendations. We ended up getting Ed's taco (carnitas, Verde and chicharrones) and 2 chicken tacos, beans and rice in their house salsa. The girl behind the counter also took her time telling me about the agua frescas and she ended up doing her own little favorite blend of the cucumber lemon and watermelon for me and it was delicious and super refreshing. They brought out some delicious homemade chips and salsa and it was some of the better salsa I've had, especially for a small place. She also brought out two other types of sauce. A green and a red. The red had a rich smoky peppery flavor and it was fantastic. The green was a little more mild that was full flavored and really made a difference on the tacos. I could have eaten a handful of those chicharrones by themselves, but they really enhanced the taco. Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the Simi valley. If we find ourselves back there again we'll definitely stop back by!
The food was delicious! We actually tried this location when they offered free tacos from their food truck. The truck came into our area and we were instantly impressed. Monday's they offer $1 tacos from 1pm to 5pm. They also have a rewards program. All you do is enroll with your phone number. A few things I'd like to mention to the owner..... We decided to eat inside and the music was crazy loud. I'm all for upbeat get you dancing music but it was sooooo loud!!!!! A few employees went out to smoke on their break and the smell came into the restaurant. I'm sensitive to that and it would be nice if there was an area they were directed several feet away from the restaurant to smoke.
First time ordering from Epic Tacos last week. Hubby surprised me with an assortment of tacos, guacamole and their Epic Fries. Everything was so good and reasonably priced. Favorites were the Shrimp Tacos, Epic Fries (must try), Carnitas taco. Great flavors overall. Will definitely be back 💙
Such a wonderful taco place that I wanted to try since reading about them on ABC7. The moment I saw shrimp tacos, I knew that would be the first thing I order when I have the chance. When they finally came back from Thanksgiving vacation, I called the number I got off their Instagram, since the number of Yelp had no one pick up. I place a pickup order for their asada quesadillas, 3 shrimp tacos and their 4 tacos deal (3 asada and 1 el pastor) I asked which one would be better and the lady on the phone told me to get the el pastor. My girlfriend also wanted their House Made Caramel Flan but when I asked they said they only offer that when they cater. So she asked if I wanted their horchata instead and I said yes with no ice. When I drove to the place, I parked in the Vons parking plaza since they were set up on Devonshire and before Mason. The lady working the truck was so friendly, she handed me my drink while I was waiting for my food. There was ice in the horchata but I didn't mind. My food was finish at the time I said I was picking it up. When she handed me my food she saw my drink had ice so she apologize and give me a new one. I appreciate that amazing service and attention to detail on my drink. Their shrimp tacos was delicious but I like the asada quesadillas the most. Their asada and pastor taco were decent. I would just ask for more hot sauce next time cause it's so good!
Love their food! Been hitting up their truck in Chatsworth for years. So nice that they are down the street now. Just wish people wouldn't try a brand new spot & give bad reviews before the kinks are worked out. Not fair to a new business. These guys have been killing it for years. Give em a chance to transition from food truck to brick & mortar. Edit! I keep coming back!
Ridiculously good tacos, red sauce has a spicy jalapeno chipotle kind of flavor. Tacos are like 3 bucks but are the medium size tortillas instead of the small ones. All the meat is super on point. Epic nachos are awesome as well. Truck is there Tuesday-Thursday 3-8pm
Happy to have a new taco spot in Simi. I tried the basic asada, pollo, al pastor, and carnitas tacos which came with onions and cilantro. The carnitas was my favorite followed by al pastor. The corn tortillas these were served on were delicious! I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other special tacos.
I ordered street tacos and Epic tacos. With a side of chips and guacamole for takeout. It was delicious and I'll be returning. The street tacos could have a bit more flavor. The Epic tacos were epic. The seating area was crowded with people waiting for takeout. I wouldn't want to sit inside with everyone standing over me.
Went to the restaurant for the first time today. The service is amazing. The women were friendly and helpful they came over to the table to check on us. There is music playing but it isn't ridiculously loud. They had 3 tables inside and a wall that had bar seating. The food was delicious and fresh.
Insane tacos! Birria taco with a side of dipping broth. Pork belly exactly how it should be - big cuts with seared fat side. Epic taco with cheesy chili relleno on top of asada! 10 / 10 freaking out.. so good!

First time ordering from Epic Tacos. This will now be my go to spot for street tacos! I ordered the 10 taco platter, some grill shrimp tacos and of course chips and salsa. Everything was great! The shrimp tacos were stuffed with shrimp and all the good stuff. The taco platter which we mixed with carnitas, asada and al pastor hit the spot. Then the salsa for the chips and salsa was great!! It was so good I forgot to take a Pic! Ill definitely be back!
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Birria is very good. Portions are fair for the price. Very small space for dine-in... not very comfortable but I guess they are more geared towards take-out.
Epic Tacos really does live up to the name. Super flavorful tacos and home made tortillas and chips. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The pork belly tacos were fantastic. I will definitely be back.
If you love fresh, family recipe made Tacos on housemade Corn Taco shells soft or hard or their Burritos, then this is your place. Sitting in front of a small Strip Mall at Yosemite and Los Angeles Ave across the driveway from Carl's Jr. And Taco Bell as competitors, you just can't go wrong with their delicious reasonably priced Tacos. Amazing house made Red and Green Salsa and Beer available. Tortilla Chips are Homemade and available to purchase in small plastic bags on the Counter. The owner is a friendly Business Man named Edgar. My favorite cashier girl is Lynette who is very sweet and friendly and always happy and helpful. Go enjoy an Epic Taco! 🌮🌯

Epic Tacos really lives up to its name! I had the veggie burrito and honestly, it’s one of the better burritos I’ve had in a long time—and I’m Latino. Generous portions, fresh flavors, and the prices are more than fair. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food here is amazing! I ordered the Cali burrito and it was a 10/10 — packed with flavor and definitely worth it. Big shout out to the cashier, Lynette (hopefully I spelled your name right!) for being so nice, kind, and attentive. Great food + great customer service = highly recommend if you’re in the area. – @therealtorjosue
I was excited to try this food truck. I've seen them on Instagram and I noticed that they were going to be opening a storefront soon in Ventura county in Simi Valley, California. I was happy to have time off to be able to try them out before they do. I was greeted. The owners were very nice very helpful, guided me with items to pick treated me and my husband with great respect as customers and I enjoyed every bit of the conversation. We got the shrimp tacos as well as the fries and Horchata. I enjoyed all the items that were given to me and recommended. Please make sure you check them out and support small businesses. It is a food truck, so there is no indoor seating but you were able to get your food to go. Ample parking available
best taco place in town!Quesabirria tacos and pic tacos are awesome goodness! I’m Mexican so I know about good Mexican food! Didn’t like their beef taquitos though. And Yes they’re epic tacos! Highly recommend!
I ordered 2 asada, 2 carnitas tacos. Very delicious 😋 Pleasantly surprised to see the tortilla are handmade. The asada meat is seasoned well, the carnitas was nice and juicy! Green & red salsa were good, just wish the red was a bit more spicy. I only took off 1 star because yes as others have said, it's a bit pricey but overall I think the tacos were 👍👍 I'll be back 🙂 They also have a rewards program, I forgot to complete my sign up so can't more info on that.

The food used to be good. Quality has dropped, the pastor was tasty before now its bland and the meat was barely cooked to temperature. I had ordered on their app for a pick up, they messed up my order and when I contacted them. I was told I would get a refund, but I never did.
