Pesce Italian

Very nice experience. Atmosphere is one of the best I have experienced on the island if you are looking for non island atmosphere. Service was great. Very attentive. Bread served with oil and spices to dip was delicious. I had the Cesar salad and spaghetti with meatball. The salad had a nice fresh flavor and the dressing was not overwhelming. The pasta is made locally and was worth trying if you are a past person. The sauce was not to sweet and the meatball was very large. I took half mine home and it was even better the next day.

The food is so incredibly fresh and delicious, authentic and perfectly seasoned, the wines are paired perfectly with what you want, the dessert was worth all the calories you didn’t need but had to have and the service… I haven’t seen service like this in years! We’re still talking about how well we were treated from the time we walked in until the moment we left. I’m so grateful we found this gem and we definitely #enjoyed our time, eating authentic Italian food, sipping wine and listening to Frank Sinatra in the background! I personally felt like I was Julia Robert in Eat, Pray, Love. I ate like I hadn’t eaten in a while, I prayed and thanked God for all the love that surrounds me every day and I loved this little place! One of my all time favorites. Hope it’s yours too ❤️🥰💃🏻🎶🐉

We came here for my son's 10th birthday dinner. We were so pleased. Our server Jay was fabulous and the food was to die for! Everything we ordered was fantastic. They were so sweet to my son and made his birthday so special! I would hands down go there again!

We had this tonight and it was a amazing. All pasta is made fresh. To start we had the Rosemary Foccacia...the balsamic glaze was so good. My family had Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and I opted for the Veal Parmesan. The sauce was soo good! Highly recommended!!

One of my favorite dinner spots. Great pasta, great drinks and very good service. Mondays are pasta nights where you can get a fabulous entree for around $20 but honestly their normal menu prices are very fair. All pasta is homemade. Mussel appetizer was fabulous!!!

I came here on Christmas day in the place was packed I had to wait over an hour but the wait was very worth it. They have happy hour from 5-7 and and the meatballs are to die for as well as their holiday dessert which had gingerbread in it it was so good. For my main course I had the penne vodka which I believe I've had better tasting ones in New Jersey however I go back and try something else. I recommend reservations.

Pesce Italian an awesome experience ! Great vibe very romantic place located in Red hook St Thomas . Had a great waitress with great customer service . She made the evening even better . My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon in St. Thomas, and we went to Pesce two different nights. Both times were amazing! The chicken parm, and Shrimp Scampi were top notch. The service was always on point and the bread (can't remember the name) was a great starter. Highly recommend!

I went dining with my husband one night and we each ordered an appetizer, a salad, and an entrée along with a bottle of wine. Not only was it not terribly expensive, but the experience was one of the best I've ever had at an Italian restaurant. Strongly recommend it!

We are first time visitors to the island as well as first time visitors to Pesce. Our evening was WONDERFUL! The ambience at Pesce's is right on point. The staff was attentive, friendly, professional, and delightful. The food was DELICIOUS! Each dish was incredibly tasty and seasoned to perfection. Since we were celebrating an anniversary they served our desserts with sparklers. The tiramisu and chocolate lava cave did not disappoint. All in all, we had the best meal on the island at Pesce. We highly recommend you check them out.

Scallop and polenta is absolutely delicious, you gotta try it. Parpadelle and mushroom pasta and Veal marsala super tasty. This was our 2nd time visiting St Thomas and eating at Pesce. Did not disappoint. We will return !!!

My husband and I went here 2nd night in St. Thomas and it was phenomenal!! We have spent time in Italy and can tell you these pasta dishes were amazing and most definitely fresh and homemade!! The lava cake for dessert was sincerely the best I’ve ever had!! It isn’t cheap, but it was well worth it compared to Easterly where we ate the night before. It’s all indoor and air conditioned too which is nice and not the norm for the area!

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Pesque Italian! Bailey was my server, and she did a fantastic job making sure everything was perfect. The gluten-free flatbread was delicious, and the two drinks she recommended complemented the meal perfectly. Her attentive service and friendly demeanor made the evening even more enjoyable. Fast delightful service with delicious fresh pasta! Highly recommend making reservations however, so plan accordingly. Well worth the reservation!

Pesce Italian — OMG! I had the best swordfish and mushroom pasta of my life here in St. Thomas. The flavors were unreal. We brought a rare bottle from Santa Barbara, and it paired perfectly with the food. And the limecello crème brûlée? Absolutely unforgettable. Riche was one of the best waiters we’ve had on the island — attentive, warm, and genuinely made the experience special. So lucky to have a place like this here. Highly recommend!

They were busy and service was a little slow. Calamari starter was fantastic. I ordered the carbonara with a poached egg that was cooked perfectly. Being in USVI I added a side of fried snapper and it was excellent.

Food was good overall. Was really excited about the homemade gnocchi but my daughter and I both agreed that we have had better. Definitely would go back but probably skip the gnocchi. Chicken Parm was probably the family favorite.

The bartender, I believe his name is Rob, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We had the rosemary focaccia, which was served on a pillowy soft bread. I also shared the Ribeye, medium rare, which came with mash potatoes and charred broccoli. We cut into a medium well ribeye, and the bartender was quick to fix the mistake. The next ribeye came out perfectly medium rare.

Highly recommend! Richie was an excellent host and provided wonderful service. The lemoncello raspberry drink was superb! I had the penne alla vodka with shrimp and my husband had the snapper piccata. Excellent! Great atmosphere.

Our waitress Shamara was amazing and made our visit outstanding. Her personal attention and excellent customer service skills made our dining experience one of a kind. And the food was delicious, we’ll be back.

Everything was SUPERB! It was our last night on the island and we wanted a really good dinner. We had not tried this place before and I was craving pasta, so we gave it a shot. Both meals were outstanding. My husband ordered the ribeye and I had the penne alla vodka. We both agree this was the best meal we have had in the USVI, including several previous visits. Our server, Shamalya, was fantastic. She was friendly, welcoming, and did an excellent job taking care of us. She also recommended a dessert that we both loved. The atmosphere is elegant and calm. The candles placed throughout the restaurant created a warm, inviting mood. We both agreed that the next time we visit, this will be our go to spot for a special dinner before we leave.

We went to Pesce on a weekday with no reservation, as we were "stuck" in St Thomas due to winter storms at home. The hostess told us an hour wait for a table. I went to peek around the bar to see if there were seats - there were not. We went outside to leave and figure out another plan. Richie the bartender stepped outside and said he saw us looking for a table, and if we would wait just a minute he would figure something out for us. We walked back in and he immediately seated us at a high top that just cleared. Not only that he got us drinks and an appetizer right before happy hour ended. The bruschetta and calamari were on point. We ordered a bottle of wine and the snapper picatta for our entree. Both the fish and the homemade linguine were delicious. The meal was really good and the atmosphere was a delight. But the star was Richie the bartender. I hesitate to even call him a bartender because he was simultaneously making drinks for a whole bar while giving 5* service to multiple tables including ours. I would recommend a stop at Pesce and if you do I would highly recommended seating with Richie!

Went for my birthday dinner and the hostess was so sweet! She even gave a free dessert and made my day so special. Our waiter Josh was so friendly and attentive. The pasta is freshly made and so flavorful! The tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had and a great portion size! Would definitely go again!

Just returned from a week on St. Thomas/St. John. What a find this place was. My wife is an Italian food lover and we came in on Friday for an early evening dinner. Every facet of this restaurant is top notch. Not your typical island venue. The room, from the bar to the back dining area, is exquisite. The service is above and beyond. We were lucky enough to have Richie as our bartender/ server. Absolutely off the charts. They were out of the Wahoo special and he put me onto their Swordfish in Lobster beurre blanc sauce over fresh fettuccine. It was tremendous. My wife had the Carbonnara and was very pleased. Great wine selection. All you need to know is that my wife made another reservation for the following evening and the experience that next night was just as amazing. Make sure to get to here if at all possible. You will not be disappointed.

The best food and service we had on our trip! Best spaghetti and meatballs we have ever had. Dishes are fairly priced and good sized. Our waitress Shumara was very attentive, nice and funny. Thank you for the best service on the island.

What a great find. Excellent service and the food is exceptional. They were very accommodating. We definitely will return. Angelo was exceptionally professional and friendly. None of our requests were a problem. 5 stars all around! Great atmosphere.

Just walked out the door and could not wait to write a review! Sat at the bartop- bartender was amazing! But the food...the food was phenomenal!! The gnocchi, the meatballs, the spinach dip, their housemade pasta and fresh marinara, all delicious. And the tiramisu nearly made me cry! Spent 3 weeks in Italy and this was better than 97% of the food there. If you are coming to St. Thomas be sure to put this on your food itinerary!!

They have a nice happy hour and good wine selection. My friend enjoyed the creamy pasta they received. I however, found my carbonara to be very oily, but appreciated having gluten free pasta. The service was excellent, but depending on when you come it can be a wait to get your food. Will say that the highlight here is their creme brulee.

Excellent food. Three in our party had different dishes and everyone loved their food. I had the Chicken Alfredo and it was at the top of the best I've ever had. The desserts were good, but on par with other good Italian restaurants. The only down side to this place is we were there for almost two hours from sit down to leave. We were prompt in ordering and asked for our check with the dessert to expedite things. Maybe this is just Island life. 😆 The food is fresh and amazing, just prepare to wait. Oh, and parking is a nightmare, so a cab is recommended.

Overall, a good experience. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. The service was excellent and attentive. They were serving up some Italian staples and there were many things on the menu I would like to try. I went with the veal marsala at the recommendation of the server. It was a good choice. The veal portion was generous, pounded down, and tender, juicy, and not over cooked.

Food usually is wonderful with various wines and cocktails. Large menu but always as for specials. Staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Only reason not 5 stars was we sat near the kitchen and we were in the middle of traffic from staff and customers. We come here once or twice when on the island.

Excellent dinner at Pesce! Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their dishes, including the Chicken Alfredo, Bolognese, Chicken Parmigiana, and the outstanding Cioppino. Don't skip the bread service with extra marinara – a great addition!

The food was great, especially the fried zucchini. They have a really fun cocktail menu and full wine list. The tables were slightly closer together than we would have liked but the waiter was fantastic.

We had reservations for Valentine’s Day. We were seated at a two top table, with other tables on either side of us pushed within 12” of the edges of our table. I was almost touching shoulders with the women beside me. We had to move tables just to get in and out of our seats, or our bottoms would drag across the neighbors table top as we slid out. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks. They delivered the neighboring tables food to our table before picking it up and taking it to the correct table. Our food was excellent and the presentation was lovely. However, for the price of our meals, we should have been given better service and should not have had to sit smashed up against neighboring tables. It was very poorly managed. We are unlikely to visit again.

This place is a nice restaurant, but there is no organization. Let's wait 30 minutes for a beer, we could see the drinks we ordered at the bar, waiting for 20 minutes and no one taking them We waited 45 minutes for an extra slice of bread. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, when she went to the bathroom I told the waitress to sing her birthday, and she completely forgot In total a dinner for 3 people, we spent 3.5 hours.

Food was just ok. Was not what I thought it would be based on the atmosphere and prices. Watched a roach walk up and down the wall during our dinner. Was understandable since it's a tropical location, old building. I understand. When what I believe to be was the manager walked up, a roach ran across our table. My husband flicked it off the table in front of her. She never phased. It then came running back again and I took my napkin and squished it in front of her. She never commented. Will probably not go back.

The service was bad. The host acted like we are making her do toughest chores by asking to be shown to our reserved table. The server asked about appetizers to immediately forget the order. (He did the exact same thing to the two tables around us, claiming he spilled something on the order sheet). Brought the apps, but still no silverware. Food was average, the beet salad was actually good, but the Primavera pasta was swimming in sauce with overcooked pasta. The snapper was well grilled, but the linguine sauce was overly sour cause of too many capers - too bad cause it would have been a good dish. Would not recommend going. While this might appear like a decent option for a dinner on the island where possibilities are limited, it is not worth the money. Just grab a burger for a third of the price and probably better service.
