District has been our go to ‘night out’ spot for years. We live 40 minutes away and hate driving, but we’ll do it for a District dinner. The rotating menu provides enough variety that we’re never bored, and I can honestly say we’ve had dishes here that made the list of our top 10 bites of all time (the Spinalis that’s on their menu now being one). Dustin has been our server the last few visits and always has the best insight into the menu, and we love sitting at the bar in front of the kitchen and watching it run like a well oiled machine. Always a good experience, no notes
We had a wonderful dinner date at District Table & Bar! We chose outdoor seating since it was a bit too loud inside, and it turned out to be perfect. For drinks, we tried a few: I started with the Give It to Guava, Claire had the Rosebud, and I finished with the Smoke Show. All were well-crafted and delicious. We shared the Steamed Pork Bun appetizer, which was tender and flavorful. For entrées, Claire had the Shoyu Chicken and I ordered the Snapper Classic, both fantastic dishes. And of course, we couldn’t skip a side of Truffle Fries. To finish off the night, we tried Jess’s Best F’in Carrot Cake, which absolutely lived up to the name! Overall, a great dinner date with my wife. Highly recommend District Table & Bar for a flavorful and memorable night out!
I scored a coveted seat at the bar! And again, The District did not disappoint (although I would steer clear of happy hour apps as the portions are quite small). But Fried Chicken was great as always, and I was skeptical of Lobster Fried rice, but was blown away by it. Served on a beef bone replete with marrow it had great depth of flavor. I'd go back just for that again - in fact, that'll be my New Year's resolution. Add to this a well thought out and we'll priced wine list - both BTG and bottle.
Had a great meal! The price fixe menu has some great deal on it during the summer. We went with the tuna poke and fried chicken and it was great. The service was a bit slow for our liking but was mainly due to just having too many tables for that server. Overall great meal and would come back!
Delicious southern food with a twist. Food was delicious and service was impeccable. Shared many appetizers with a group: broccoli rab, devilled eggs and the creamy corn were insane. Had the shrimp and grits and was super happy with my choice. Definitely recommend for casual group outings.
Incredible dishes made from quality ingredients. Everything pleased, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks. This was the perfect place for a birthday celebration.
We enjoyed a fantastically curated meal at the chefs table counter this evening. Our server Stephanie provided us with the best service we’ve had since we moved up to Martin County from Palm Beach. All of the food was *chef’s kiss* and the teamwork was outstanding to observe. Definitely found our new date night spot!
We had a fantastic meal at District Table recently. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, paired perfectly with crispy fries. The sweet tea fried chicken was a pleasant surprise, adding a unique twist to a classic dish. The deviled eggs were not only beautifully presented but also tasted amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The only thing I'd suggest is expanding the appetizer options a bit, but that's just a small tweak. Overall, District Table provided a great dining experience, and I’m looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!
First time coming to this popular restaurant and it was worth the 40 minute drive from Tradition. Food was outstanding. We had the street corn for an appetizer, my wife had the Tuna Poke Bowl and I had the Rock Shrimp Lo Mein. My friends ordered the Prime Teres Major and the Flounder Classic. The food was in incredible. Every bite was a masterpiece. Drinks, well 2 is more than enough per person , because they are strong! Service well that could be improved. Otherwise definitely will come back.
I've been to District several times, always a great meal and great service. The summer prix fixe menu is an incredible value and a great meal. Hot fried chicken starter was really flavorful, tuna main course was great and the peanut butter pie was light and satisfying as peanut butter pie can be
Great experience at District. Entire service team worked hard to make our experience fantastic. Manager went out of his way to accommodate a special seating request. Waiter was professional and efficient with a nice touch of humor. Food was very good. I had the stone crab claws and burger. Burger was delicious. Fries are plentiful and crispy. After dinner, hung out by the outdoor fire pit. Ample and easy parking. Be aware the restaurant abuts the train line so you will hear trains come by frequently.
This is definitely one of my, and my family's, favorite places to really treat ourselves to a fine dining. The staff are always extremely attentive and serve with a smile. The menu contains a spread of unique dishes that blend comfortable familiarity with affectionate flares of flavors to create delicious combinations. Their prices are reasonable for not only the ambiance, the staff and the taste, but the portions as well. Typically, at fine dining, the entrée plates are the size of playing cards, as a contrast, some of the dishes here are as big as the poker chips box! I always leave full, and with a very happy belly and family. Thanks District! And get another round for the Kitchen on me! They work so hard, keep it up!
My coworkers and I enjoyed ourselves. The service is impeccable and all the food was absolutely delicious. I can’t remember the names of the dishes or apps but everything was so good, and due to that reason alone it’s safe to assume anything you order will be great. I’ll be back.
Awesome food. Best Mexican street corn around. Great service. Always consistent. Prices are high but worth it. Sweet tea chicken and biscuit is epic. The biscuits are so fluffy and light with just a hint of sweetness. We finished with a Grand Marnier souffle that was absolutely amazing. The restaurant is noisy, so we opted to eat outside. Be sure to get reservations.
We enjoyed this gem for so many reasons….family friendly staff that are truly warm and welcoming. Consistent excellent food served hot and with a southern flare that can’t be beat. I’m in love with this restaurant! I highly recommend: deviled eggs, smoked wahoo dip with their house made crackers (sooo good) District burger (delish fries and chocolate malt) , best burger I’ve had in a long time, sweet tea fried chicken is perfection, served with a side of homemade jam and biscuit and the kimchi encrusted tuna, all delicious and made perfect. I give this place 5 stars all around. Perfect from start to finish, especially because we had wonderful chamomile tea and lemon Tiramisu. Sometimes you find a gem of a restaurant that makes you want to keep coming back for more and this is one of them! (GF and veg options )
This is the one restaurant we consistently go back to and have not been disappointed with ANYTHING! Food, drinks, dessert, service and atmosphere all winners in my book hands-down.
Cool spot with lots of outdoor seating. Fresh seafood was awesome. Some interesting drinks on the drink menu. We came pretty early for dinner and had a reservation. Place filled by 630 and looked like people were waiting. Will definitely come back.
District has such a warm and energetic vibe around the experience. It’s well worth a visit. Nestled in the heart of the Port Salerno region, (District unlike other dining options) seems to be frequented by a younger clientele. In accordance, the menu is modern and the drinks menu more progressive than others in the area. The place was packed on entry, so I’d suggest a reservation. The food was sensational across all dishes. Well cooked, speedy and fresh with high quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the serving staff and our waitress. They all really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was fantastic and there was clearly a team camaraderie on display across the venue. Great menu, great drinks list… you’d be crazy not to pop-in for a visit if you find yourself in the area.
This was a true culinary experience! Dustin, our server, was so detailed in his explanation of the dishes we asked about. He made us want to order everything! We shared the Wahoo dip, Shaved Brussel Sprouts salad and the deviled eggs. The shaved brussel sprout salad was magical. Topped with a fried egg, the yolk created a creamy sauce that lightly coated the shaved sprouts. It's honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. The wahoo dip is savory and smooth. We devoured it quickly. The deviled eggs were also fantastic. What I loved was the detail... perfectly piped filling. Simply beautiful. Our entrées were just as wonderful as our appetizers. My husband had the Florida Rock Shrimp Lo Mein. The sauce was superb and the bok choy very tender. Perfect shrimp to noodle ratio. He loved it. My niece had the braised lamb. It was exceptionally tender served in hearts of palm with a luscious glaze. She was blown away. I had the Prime Teres Major. I could cut the meat with my fork! The creamed spinach was velvety deliciousness. I asked for roasted brussel sprouts instead of truffle frites. They were roasted to perfection! Their steak sauce was rich and complimented the steak very well. District Table is my niece's favorite restaurant. She wanted us to go during our last visit but we didn't have time. This trip, District Table was our first stop. Our wonderful experience (atmosphere, service and the amazing food) set the tone for our entire vacation. When we go back to Stuart in March you can find us at District Table!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! It is a bit pricey but the quality is unmatched. This place is stylish yet comfortable. The staff is amazingly friendly and the chef is brilliant!!!! I recommend this place 1000 times over BUT keep in mind... 1. It is pricey but QUALITY AND QUANTITY all wrapped in one. 2. Every week they change menus so, call first!!!
Knowledgeable servers who knew the menu well and how the dishes were prepared. Fresh oysters from Washington and PEI!! Inventive names for the well crafted cocktails. Just wish it was not so crazy noisy - our server had to yell over the din - and also that it was not one vast dining room connected to the open kitchen on one end and the bar on the other. Five months later when we visited the food and service was every bit as good. Cold water oysters again! Not as crowded or noisy midweek and after 8. Tracy’s wine recommendations were spot on. Loved the blueberry buttermilk pie.
Amazing atmosphere. The dish that stood out the most was the fried Chicken. It’s NOT your standard fried chicken. The street corn there is an app I could have everyone I go, it’s amazing. Also, the Lava cake for dessert is a must try as well if you have room for it after dinner.
Absolutely amazing!! This is by far our favorite restaurant in the area. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Menu is constantly adding in seasonal items and new drinks but keeping the favorites so we are always wanting more!
Amazing food. Awesome service. Must order the street corn. Lion fish was delectable and the fried chicken is always superb. Great original cocktails and don’t leave without the soufflé for dessert. Make reservations now and you won’t be disappointed
Hands down one of the best meals we've had in a long time and the best Tuna I've ever had. The wife and I have been in a few times before but this was the best experience yet. Our server Sara was great. She helped pick a great appetizer and local beer. The tartar was a hit but the Tuna was the star of the night. It had a flavorful chimichurri and salt flakes that made you think it had a soy drissle. Oh and if Bourbon is your thing they have a top notch selection! Stagg, EH Taylor, Elmer T Lee and others! Call ahead for reservations!
I popped in about 20 mins before closing and I was hungry so I just ran in and sat down at their back bar hoping that someone would serve me. I saw the chicken Peri Peri and just ordered it immediately when the server walked up. I was delighted and surprised that he didn't try to rush me and was friendly. He even asked me if I wanted a beer so I had a nice Lite beer from Destihl brewery. And the chef's did not rush either. The dish was cooked perfectly. As much as I loved the spice with my beer I could only eat half of it and the other half for a later night snack. Thanks guys!
Love the new location! The food and environment was great. Outside has a town of heaters for chilly nights, and live music. The food was delicious, especially the street corn and tuna crudo. In fact, I can’t stop thinking about that corn! The waiters were really nice and knowledge about the menu. Also Mirka’s spa water has to be the best cocktail I’ve ever tasted. Definitely a must try in Stuart, and a great spot for a date night!
Great experience. Appetizers and entries delicious. Waiter, attentive and friendly. Sat in side, a little too loud for our taste.
Awesome food with a Miami vibe. Loved it. We had the Summer Fixe Price menu and boy was it a good meal. Great watermelon salad and the best sweet tea fried chicken on the planet. Finished it all with cinnamon donuts served I. A paper bag. Great craft cocktails. Highly recommended!
I’ve been a District regular since they were on Indian Street. We had a minor issue tonight - delay with main course - but management took such good care of us - their attention to the customer experience is unparalleled, so happy with how they handled this and treated us. My oldest son was home visiting for the holidays and all of our dishes came out just perfect - the District he grew up eating at 💙 ty for all the memories and more to come 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
My self and family... here about a year after it opened and I sent my dish back. My Boyfriend & I never came here again. My sister lives in Rocky Pt. and for years has always said she loves the place .,(,because it is a pick up bar.) But recently she quit drinking. Her last visit she realized she paid $27 for 2 pieces of dry chicken and dry mac & cheese to go... (probably the 1st time she ever paid for a her own meal). She complained and they gave her a $25 gift card. She gave it to me, because she said she won't go here again. So I used it to buy a burger, fries and shake $26.75 with tax, to go. The 1st thing I said when I got home and saw the burger, was "'itsa so small'!. My BF laughed , because that is not his problem at all, if you know what I mean.(: I split with the BF and we both had taste of fish sauce from one bite of the burger. ( Our Doberman loved the the rest of the burger.) The fries were very nice , like fresh potatoes were used. The malt shake drink tasted like powdered milk. yuk. I will give this place 5 stars for my Doberman, the friendly staff and the fries....but I am glad I didn't have to pay. Thanx sista
This is one of our go to places in Stuart Florida. The chef is incredibly creative melding flavors and texture and using farm to table ingredients. Don’t miss out on the seared yellowfin tuna that is now on the menu. It is delicious.
Great atmosphere with even better wait staff. The food was phenomenal, the best street corn I've ever had. Will absolutely come back
My previous review was a pocket review i corrected with 5 stars all across the board. We chose District Table and Bar to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary, bringing along a special bottle of champagne to mark the occasion. I had specifically called in advance to confirm their corkage policy and was given the green light. Unfortunately, upon arrival, there was significant confusion. Despite my prior coordination, the staff seemed uninformed about the arrangement, which created an unnecessary bit of friction at the start of what should have been a seamless celebratory dinner. The General Manager did step in to rectify the situation and offered a complimentary rose champagne and a desert for the misunderstanding. The service was excellent, and the food was truly world-class. We started with the Chef’s oyster platter and the chicken bao buns—both were fresh and flavorful. For the main course, my ribeye was cooked to perfection, and my wife loved the Japanese sweet potato. We were so impressed by the meal that we took advantage of the "buy the kitchen a round" feature on the menu. It’s a great touch for a team that clearly cares about their craft and is not ashamed of it as the kitchen is part of the dining room. Despite the early communication hiccup, we had a fantastic anniversary. We’ll definitely be back.
Took the family here for my wife’s birthday. At first I was worried because they sat us outside and the fans were blowing everything around. I asks the host and they quickly accommodated my request and turned the fans off. After that everything was great. Food was delicious. Service was perfect. Had several dishes and we all shared. Highlight was the spinalus pasta dish and the donuts. Definitely recommend.
It's a popular place. Reservations recommended. We sat outside. Which is interesting because it's a view of trains going by. It does get a little loud. But if you love trains, you get a perfect view. Service is very good. Both the drink and food menu will light up the foodie. There are interesting selections. I should mention the restaurant also offers beautiful decor & a nice atmosphere indoors. Again I recommend you RSVP. I will take a pass on reviewing our food selection on this one.
A great choice! Modern spot, great service, fantastic food. They always have some gluten free options (there were two entrées to choose from), and the server was great advising on what's safe for a gf person and what's not. We did mussles, piri piri chicken (damn amazing), seared tuna (truly only seared!) and the sweet tea fried chicken (mac and cheese was a bit dry this time but seems its not usually a case). Everyone was happy with the taste and had great time. We will definitely come back! Edit: after a second visit, I took one star down for food. It seems like it's pretty uneven. Some of the other options are ok at best (current version of district chicken is just very weak).
A nice little hidden gem in Port Salerno. They have a quaint little outdoor patio with live music and a modern rustic interior with tables to accommodate from intimate to large groups. The menu changes about every week to two weeks. Tonight our party had braised short ribs tostata stack, the street corn and conch fritters. They were all delicious, but was told the spicy sauce for the conch fritters were spicy (I thought it wasn't). Main course was the burger (comes with hand cut fries and a mini chocolate shake), Cuban flat bread (was told that the pork was too salty), the fried chicken (comes with Mac n cheese and a biscuit, and the Mac and cheese was pretty dang good), the NY strip and side (were tender), ribs (was told they weren't that good), and the grouper (that was delicious as well, but the sauce was bit over powering). All those items each person ordered and that was their feedback or I had actually tasted. For dessert, we had the souffle, peanut butter pie and donuts. If you like orange, get the souffle, if you like peanut butter mouse get that. The donuts we're small but bigger than store bought mini donuts. Lots of cinnamon sugar and accompanying jams. (I was full and couldn't eat another bite). If you go, don't be in a hurry, it does take some time to get your food. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.
Second time going, this time for my birth with my wife and friends. We loved everything, the only 'negative' part of our experience was when I asked the server if they could make an Affogato, I was informed they didn't have gelato but could do it with regular ice cream to which I agreed. My wife and friends ordered espresso martinis. When I received my Affogato I asked if there was alcohol in it, to which the server who delivered it said "there shouldn't be" and when I asked for him to confirm with the bartender and other server, he returned and said "yes there's Kahlua and vodka in it." I am nearly 1 year sober and thankfully I didn't consume any that night, but easily could have for a simple mistake. When the main server returned and I explained the situation, she mentioned "okay no problem I can have them make you a VIRGIN Affogato." I thanked her and didn't argue, but a traditional Affogato is just gelato + espresso, maybe a dollop of whipped cream. That's it. Again, easy mistake and an easy fix, however I can admit I would have been mighty upset if I had unknowingly consumed alcohol. We will return again, but from here on out I will always confirm my Affogato's are alcohol free.
You know, District Table is one of the best places to eat in Stuart. The problem isn’t them — it’s the overall food scene here, which is honestly among the worst in South Florida. I’ve had food poisoning twice this week from other local spots, and I’ve even had to throw out meals that weren’t safe to eat. These days, if I want a reliable dining experience, I usually head up to Fort Pierce or down to Palm Beach Gardens just to avoid bad local fare. That being said, District Table has huge potential. The biggest challenge is consistency. Sometimes the food is outstanding — but other times it feels like you’re getting the same subpar quality you’d expect from the worst spots in town. For example, I once had an incredible tuna dish here, but on my next visit the “same” dish was served with noticeably lower quality fish. That’s misleading for locals who expect what was promised. On the positive side, I love the Tea Fried Chicken. It’s unique, flavorful, and one of the most memorable dishes around. If DT could just focus on consistency and put their locals first, this restaurant could be a true gem in Stuart. Service..why do they always vanish for 29 minutes when you want the check...EVERY TIME so service is not great. Servers are a little snobby, which Im seeing all over town. Guess small town Stuart hospitality has gone out the window.
Really disappointed overall. I’ll start with the service. My wife and I went out to Dinner for my 30th birthday last night, and my wife’s first outing in well over two months! To say we were excited is an understatement. Our server, who never gave us his name, seemed to not be interested in us at all. We waited over 10 minutes just to get a drink order, even though he walked passed our table multiple Times. We ordered an Appetizer and he didn’t even bring it out to us. He didn’t ask us if we had questions about the menu, he didn’t see how our appetizer was (the deviled eggs were... ok.) and we had to wait another 10-15 minutes before he came back to take our main course order. Keep in mind, he kept walking around our table to tend to larger tables. I waited so long for a drink refill (alcoholic drink) I finally set my drink all the way to the edge of our table hoping he’d see it. He didn’t, and we flagged him down, when once again, he walked past our table like we didn’t exist. The food was average. The menu only has 6 main courses, which is fine, but you better nail those 6 options! I ordered the steak, and it was average at best. Half of my steak had zero seasoning, and the other half had so much salt it was over powering. My wife ordered the pressed chicken which was missing a side. Since our waiter didn’t seem to care, it wasn’t until a manger asked how we were doing that she got her side (once she’d already finished her meal) The manager did her job, (I didn’t get her name sadly) by checking on us once we were finishing our meal. We voiced our concerns over our waiter and the missing food from my wife’s meal. She was very kind, and did give us two complimentary desserts (which were the stars of our dinner!! They were both amazing!) and comped a round of drinks... which we obviously did not ask for, nor did we expect it. She’s the reason for the three stars. I can’t say I wouldn’t go back, but it will definitely take a while for me and my wife to try it again.
Very pricey!!! Seating is limited, and items are only available in certain areas of the restaurant. If you wanted to do the happy hour, you need to sit at the bar (which is very small), or outside on the high tops. Make a reservation, because the place fills up. I love the concept of supporting local farmers. The flat breads are very good. I ordered the Cuban, and it was delicious. The steam buns were alright, but you will pay over $4 for one (not sure why this would fall under the share portion part of the menu or why they list it as a pare "buns"). The Tuna Crudo is a must have if you enjoy eating raw fish. I ordered the District Burger, and I have to admit I was disappointed. It's extremely small. For $21, I expected the burger to at least be over 4oz. (Since it falls under the Large portion part of the menue). Our server was nice. Overall I have mixed feelings about coming back.
Review as of 2019: What a change from the other location: the restaurant is three times larger with different areas for dining: the bar, outdoors, the main dining area, a private dining area for a larger group, the oyster bar, and the kitchen bar top. The space is beautifully curated. However, the food has gone down in quality! First off they offer woodfired flatbreads, but there is no wood fire, anywhere! They make the pies, not flatbreads, in a gas-fired oven. The pasta with crab was filled with crab shells - more than 10! The fried chicken, a fan favorite, was just OK as was the heavy mac and cheese. A mojito was served without muddled mint and a moscow mule was passable. The service is still very good. Too bad about everything else, because I really liked this place in 2016- see my previous review.(Review from 2016) WOW! A don't miss! The chefs are amazing, the food is art and tastes great too! Follow them on social media to get an idea of the magic they perform with food!
Great service and excellent atmosphere. I've dined here twice and both times the food was unimpressive. The presentation is beautiful however they use a lot of sauces that take away from the flavor of the food instead of complimenting it. For example, the tuna crudo was very fresh and tasty, but the sauce around it completely ruined it. Similarly, the shishito peppers were flooded by a soy based sauce that soiled the taste of the peppers. A few of the dishes we tried were pretty good, but others, were disappointing.
This was my second time dining here. I visited a few months ago and loved the food which is why I asked my husband to take me here for my bday. This time around our appetizers were delicious (especially the bread) BUT we were disappointed with one of our entrees. Since it was a special occasion we decided to splurge: we ordered the Yellow Fin Tuna ($42) and the “Perfect” Ribeye ($48). The tuna dish was great but the ribeye was not worth the price. The plate was overwhelming covered in fries which completely hid everything else on the plate. Just the visual was ridiculous. After finally excavating the steak out from the fry mound, we discovered it completely drenched in a sweet sauce that took away from the pleasure of steak. If a steak is of good quality, there’s no need to hide it under unnecessary garnishes and overpowering sauces. The spinach was also hidden underneath the pile of fries. The plating, flavors, and portion made it very difficult to enjoy and not worth the price. Definitely not a “Perfect Ribeye.” I was considering the Fried Chicken ($27) and regret that I didn’t choose it instead. We were also a little disappointed in the service. My husband made a reservation and had indicated that this was for a birthday but we didn’t get any acknowledgment during our visit. Mind you, while we were dining we saw 2 other tables get a Happy Birthday song and acknowledgement from the staff.
Decent atmosphere and very friendly servers. The food and happy hour are a swing and a miss for us. We were told HH was solid so we sat at a table, restaurant empty, then told no happy hour at tables, only bar. Bar was full. Huge pet peeve when restaurants do this. So annoying. This is where Kyle G restaurants excel and this one is falling flat. So we waited for a spot at bar and had cocktails. Finally we got a spot at the bar. Brussel sprouts 1/5 very hard and boiled tasting. All the chopped bacon on top can’t fix Brussels like this. They should be crispy! Bar burger: 1/5 horrible cheese choice, tasted like the cheese was a bechemel and separating. Bun very dry. Really bad overall. Rock Shrimp Ceviche: 4/5 this is a solid dish although they don’t serve it with a spoon which is a huge error. The drinks were ok. Bartenders were great. HH foods were all $13 Everything on menus is $25-40 All in all 2/5
Let me start by saying we have come to District Table many times and have had exceptional food and service. The last 2 times we have been, however, we have been really disappointed in how we were treated, with the worst being the most recent time. We had a reservation for a party of 6 and were sat promptly. From there, things went downhill. It took our server a very long time to even take our drink order. Our drinks didn’t even arrive at the table until we had been there about 40 minutes. It then took another 30 minutes or so for the server to come back and ask if we were ready to order (after that much time, yes we were). We wanted to put in apps first and then food and she rudely told us to do it all at once or we’d be waiting forever. Well guess what.. we still waited forever. Some of our meals were not even warm by the time we got them. So, after sitting down at 6:45, we didn’t actually eat our meal until 8:30. I tried to talk to a manager about this and he too was very dismissive and said to ask for him next time. Unfortunately, I dont know when next time will be as I do not see myself going back here anytime soon.
I took my wife out to dinner 1/3/25. Our server hardly acknowledged our presence and seemed to be upset because we didn't order any alcoholic beverages. We placed our appetizers and main course orders immediately. After 30 minutes our server returns to tell us that she had just been informed that they had run out of our appetizer. We then decided to just wait for our main course. After an hour of waiting and watching bigger parties who arrived after us be served their meals I went to find a manager. Louie (manager) stated that he was going to have our meal rushed to us. By this point my wife had had enough and the idea of a nice dinner date was gone. We have been to the District on many occasions and this was the 1st time we had a bad experience. It'll be some.time before we consider returning.
The service was outstanding and the attention by the manager was awesome. However, the food was just not great. All dishes were lacking.
Appetizer plate had a dying insect on it. The lettuce on my Cesar salad was soggy and wilted. Main course arrived heavily salted and devoid of any other flavor. Had to end the meal at that point.
