Had not been to Subway in Sweeny for a while. Went yesterday and pleasantly surprised....very friendly employees. What an improvement.

I have "heard" bad things about the staff. Word of mouth goes pretty far around our area. I stopped in to grab some lunch for my husband, and I must say I think it is a hit and miss. I had wonderful women take care of my me. I am a chatter, and they kept up. I would not go on word of mouth on this. Try for yourself before you can pass a judgement about the staff.
I was CRAVING chocolate chip cookies so I called subway at 9:15pm (not realizing they close at 10) looking for my chocolate fix. They had 2 but i knew that wouldn't be enough so i asked if they would bake me a dozen fresh. THEY DID!! Those ladys rock! Thank you so much for the fresh baked cookies 💜💜
A fun Children's holiday and these youngsters were making it fun to come in and order. They even brought treats for kiddos who came in and they paid for it out of their own pockets. Good group of young people.

Small, but great little store on the edge of Sweeny. They keep the place up very well, I've never had an issue with my order, and the people behind the counter are always hit all the marks from a customer service perspective. I go here about once per week, and will probably continue to consider this place as a staple for as long as I'm in the area.

Look like they're making some attempt at remodeling other then that they kid that helped us out was patient and polite with all my kids on their orders. They were all accurate hot and delicious 😋

Just beware in lunch time. It can go either ways with wait time. You should be able to gauge the waiting time just from the main road outside. Typical subway food. Courteous crew inside. Just don't ask for chopped salad. It slows them down. ;)

Got sick from eating a meatball sub . Had to wait for them to warm up the meatballs and the staff acted as if they didn't know what was going on.
If you order after 10pm, they tell you the toaster is down so they'll have to cook your sandwiches in the microwave. And I thought that breakfast was always available, but not here, not even when they were open 24 hours for that short period of time. They lost our night shift business because of that!
First I'd like to say that west Texas has black olives. After that I have to say that although they are very polite and respectful, they have a lot of growing up to do, that includes the grown staff, speed could have been better than slow, thank goodness this is something they really can't get wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did, a lot..

The employees were nice. But we’re too busy gossiping to pay attention to me. Had to tell them multiple times what I wanted for everything. Had vulgar music playing loudly almost the whole time I was in there. I had to wait for them to finish talking about their personal drama to tell the guy what I wanted...
The people working at this location are never really happy to serve you, except the young man. He was friendly to my wife and me. Unhappiness in employees is usually a reflection of misguided and bad leadership. Take care of your employees and they will take care of your customers and in turn that will make you successful. Then maybe I won't get sick again or feel like a burden when I get take out from this location. RIGHT!?
The only pleasant experience I EVER have at this location is when the oldest employee is there [very nice woman with glasses]. The younger one's make it not even worth going to anymore. Also, another young gentleman always spreads mustard all over the top of the bread when he cuts the sandwich; makes it really soggy. I would go to another location, service sucks.
Ordered a foot long cold combo the sandwiche was of poor quality. Asked for bread to be toasted could not tell if toasted hardly any vegetables was put on it

I would not recommend this subway. The last 3 times I went and ordered they have had my order wrong every time. The employee was acting as if he was on drugs and couldn’t even make a full sentence.
Workers were rude about wearing a mask immediately and I ask them to put on hair nets and they refused and was extremely disrespectful. Germs are germs no difference
Over charged and didn't get everything I paid for plus the workers there act like little punks and don't care if you get the food you paid for or not

Like always. Show up at 830 with 6 or more people to order and can't due to this place being out of bread. This is the 3rd time this month this issue has happened. No matter what day or what tine you go they are always out of something.
Not exactly sure who it was when my daughters went to pick up food there was a lady that was rude to them and when the food got here it was not done right it didn't taste good
Awful experience ordered food online said it would be ready at 6:50 app said ready I go in and they hadn't even started on the order will not be back I suggest sonic down the road
Came in here to eat with my son and they refused to make a sandwich like he wanted it they charged me for a kids meal then charged me extra for the meat he wanted because it was not on there kids menu
I ordered online at about 6:15 and it told me it would be ready at 6:45 so i leave the house and get there at 6:40. There is a small line and my app says the food is ready. Well my order was not even started. So i waited another 30 minutes then they gave me my order or so i thought. They left my southwest wrap out. They then told me they wpyld make it. A guy walked in and they wait on him first then they finally make my wrap. Well while make my rap they kept answering the phone and going to the freezer. I am still sitting here at 7:15 waiting. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! If i had not already paid i would have left!
There are several employees at this location that would benefit from some customer service training! The last two visits I have dealt with rude people, who definitely act like they do not want to be there.
Just went here and it was awful. My fiance asked for double meat on his club and only got the amount for a regular. I worked at subway for a while and she definitely didn't put the right amount of meat on either of our sandwiches. The lady was just plain rude and disrespectful. I will not be going back here.
Walked in to purchase 7 foot long combo's. I was the only customer in the store, I was told rudely that if I didn't have a mask they wouldn't serve me. I ask do they have any mask I can use, and I was told no you have too supply your own. They have a drive thru and still no without a mask. So Instead I went to Stewart's and purchased everything to make better sandwiches than subway, also some ice cream and they was glad to serve me without a mask. Support them local business as for subway in sweeny, well I won't be returning. Very rude.
The food is fine. The employees are annoying and slow.. I went in and it was Somewhat busy they had two girls there one was on the phone gossiping about some girl that called in for some bs reasons she never got off the phone. The other girl was extreamly slow about making the food it was ridiculous. Minimum work equals minimum wage. 🙄

Place somehow got worse. Veggies frozen, tasted bitter, you could see icy frozen tomatoes and ice around the lettuce. Service was frustrating, couldn't hear a word said by the person working there, had the same problem with a different employee in the past. I've only eaten here when I get a coupon, but that's it for me, and the other closest subway is not much better. Subway really fell off.
I'm all about that people are going thru things and you never know. However when I say my order twice and you insulate that I said it wrong ( steak and cheese flat bread) and have an attitude when I repeat it a third time once you grab the wrong bread, yes I will walk out. This is the third time I have given them a try since I have lived here a year and everytime the customer service has been terrible. Small town living has less options and I hated to walk out when I wanted something fresh

Good food BUT, on 2/26/2022 around 8:50PM, my husband and I were refused service due to their boss telling them to close early when 10PM is their normal closing time. If this is true then fine, we will go somewhere else from now on, but if it isn't? Then the owner needs to do some firing and hiring. If you don't wanna work, step out of the way and let those who do get the job done.
