MÉXICO 🇲🇽 Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles: A few months ago during planning to visit the Nethercutt Museum in Sylmar, Google Maps revealed an interesting point on the same block, a place that back then had zero photos and just a few reviews. A bit of further investigation pulled up their beautiful Instagram account and suddenly the little trailer shot to the top of the to do list. Origin stories of the michelada are still disputed, but more important are the places the summer drink has gone. In different regions and even from backyard to backyard, tradition is just in the eye of the beholder. There are many different types of drinks that fall under the michelada umbrella these days, but the most important quality is cooling you down (with just a bit of a buzz) on a hot day. The lofty name MichexGod is something to live up to, but when you see your michelada topped with botanas ($9) next to that brown-bagged tallboy, it is pretty close to heaven. In the beginning the mix is quite strong and perfect, mellowing out as you top it off with beer refills.
Michex God is now our go to for fresh seafood. Ceviche and Shrimp tacos were excellent. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.
The gods of the valley and the people who run this place have blessed us with this place I get the agua chiles verdes every week and they’re always to die for. Never been let down once. Delicious as always.

110% Pocho Pride!! These sisters and brother brought their vision to light. The food is phenomenal - their fish tacos and pulpo ceviche are a must (watch out for their habanero sauce) - and their love for life shines throughout their restaurant. So glad to see they have a lot of business. (Bring good company along, or seek out the easter eggs throughout the walls, and time flies while the food is prepped to order.) Humble people with excellent taste. This a must-try hidden gem of the San Fernando Valley❣️ MichexGod... I'm in love!
We got the aguachiles with raw shrimp and Chile verde and let me say this was the best I’ve ever had. To be begin with we got the large to share and the portion amount is perfect for the price $25. It was full with shrimp and the perfect amount of cucumbers and onion. The spice from the Chile verde salsa was perfectly spicy and just delicious to drink as well. We also got a 32oz michelada to go and we put a modelo into the mix and it was perfect. I don’t usually like these Clamato mixes but it was just the right mix and not overpowering. Everything was great, shout out to DAVID for the awesome customer service and answering our questions about the food. We don’t often places like these and because of this experience we will be coming back again.
I use to see this place when it was still a food truck in Sylmar and always saw how full it was and would not go because of the long lines. Now that it has its own place I tried it today and let me tell everyone here it was the best Camaron ceviche I've ever had. the first bite caught me off guard from the amount of flavor it had absolutely delicious. the portions are huge too i bought two tostadas and could barely finish one. A+++

I have tried Fish ceviche and botana de camaron and they're so good and tasty...lots of flavor and big amount served per tostada at a low price. I want to go back and try other items from there menu. I really recommend MichexGod to anyone who wants a good ceviche.

Great food!!! Aguachiles are to die for! Virgin Micheldas are great! I love the Chamoy! Shrimp quesadillas are great and its definitely a lot of food. Great flavor for sure. Try the shrimp tacos with chipotle sauce omg amazing!!!
They have the best CHAMOY EVER!!!!!! They have 5 flavors, and I buy all. Each drink deserves its own chamoy. My favorite is original and sandia( watermelon)

I usually buy their own made clamato and chamoys and make my own at home at my own convenience and believe me with the ingredients they provide you cannot go wrong 😋 my favorite chamoy is the mango one and it’s one of the biggest pleasures of my life 🤤🤩

I have always loved coming here, however I recently got a tostada mixta and all the avocado on top was black and covered with extra sauce on top to not notice. There’s was so much extra sauce that it was really spicy and it’s never that spicy. I also felt something taste a bit off on the bottom of the ceviche, maybe it was the cucumber or tomatoes. I love the food here, but this disappointed me because I couldn’t stomach and enjoy my food this time, so just keep an eye on food quality please.

Really bad i went to buy a shirmp agua chile i broughted home unfurtunately i found a hair on my food we tooked back and they told that they can only give half of the money back or nothing after all this situation they told my wife dont come back wich and sure i wont be back with such bad service
