Delicious as usual! Love the lunch special!!
My dad randomly asked if I wanted to go for a drive. He’s been raving about this place since he retired…almost 10 years ago. I was skeptical at first, but the minute the aguadito hit my mouth…game over. I don’t have much drama to add to this review. I don’t think there is one bad thing to order in this joint. I got the picante de carne. Just the right heat. Meat was juicy. And I left stuffed. I would have eaten 10 more plates of that if I could. They saltado de pollo and saltado de lomo are both good too!
When I lived in RPV 10 years ago, this was one of my favorite spots. I recently came back to SoCal for a visit and had to return, nothing had changed. It felt nostalgic and timeless. The lomo saltado and aguadito soup are still my go-to and just as incredible as I remembered. Can’t wait to come back again!
Very consistent food, seasoned to perfection, very generous portions, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. I'm there atleast once a week for over 20 years. My favorites are Col de Pollo (cabbage with chicken) and or, vianitas de pollo ( green beans with chicken) and the cilantro chicken soup... I cant get enough! Its a MUST try! Also, you can try these amazing dishes well done for that extra boost of flavor.
Very delicious food! Ended up eating here pretty much every year growing up, i went back with my girlfriend and it was amazing. The service was so kind, and the food there was incredible!
25 + years of coming to the same place. Tried all the other El Pollo Inkas and non of the other owned compare. Fresh ingredients, amazing service from the same server now manager Miguel that I've see at the restaurant for 25 + years, generous portions, quick and more. Love this place....
When Iived in the area, we loved coming here. It has been almost 8 years and being back brings back all the nostalgia. Everything here is so good and do not forget the green sauce. Your entree comes with bread and soup. The soup is delicious. We came at 11am and it wasn't crowded but the minute it hit noon, the place filled up. I had the passion fruit juice which was refreshing. I always order the Aji De Gallina, it's my favorite. I slather it with green sauce and dip my bread in it. The atmosphere is nice and the place is very clean. Great customer service. If you are in there area stop by and grab yourself a meal and the cookies are to die for.
El Pollo Inka has the best food. This place has been a South Bay staple for many many years. The food is so good. It doesn’t really matter what you order because everything tastes delicious. I love the rotisserie chicken lunch special and the cau cau de camerones. I put green sauce on everything. The green sauce is addicting! It’s a great place for families, kids, adults. Everyone will find something they like.
Have been going to this restaurant since I gained consciousness, but went recently to celebrate my older sister's graduation. The food was good as always, but they forgot my sister's food. I will say, we did have a relatively large group (8-10), so having someone's food NOT forgotten would be impressive. They got rid of the live music offered here due to the pandemic, but that was always a family favorite. Unfortunate. The atmosphere was still nice nonetheless!
The food was amazing as always and at the restaurants vs the express locations you get the bread to eat along with your food which always is a huge bonus.\nLove those place the service was great as w…
Tasty delicious and fresh. service was good we got lucky and they had a live musician on a Friday evening. It was pleasant and enjoyable to hear and watch him play his flute and other instruments. …
Every December 24th... getting food for the family dinner. Excellent service and delicious food... always getting rotisserie chicken and ceviche for everyone in the family. =)
The service the day I went was top tier and the lighting is better then most el pollo Incas. The lomo saltado was great and the green soup was amazing.'n

This has been a good place to eat. I have been going to this place for years. I will start with the price, and I must say prices are pretty good being the times we live in, about 18.00 per dish. Now, in regards to flavor, I think they have lowered the standards, this time, I was there, My food was a bit bland , not much flavor as it used to have. I do still like the PV location better, this was the Torrance location, still you will not be disappointed with the food.
We ordered the pollo saltado and the lomo saltado, and for me this is straight comfort food. Nothing fancy - just satisfying and consistently flavorful.\n\nThe saltado was well-seasoned with tender m…

Ordered the lomo saltado! Although it was delicious, I had more onions than anything else. It looked like I ordered an onion stir fry! 🤣 the restaurant itself was clean, our food was served promptly, and the host ( the only black person) was very attentive and very polite! I'll definitely be back to try something different. 😋
The place is very well decorated, but it has a strange smell, right at the entrance and the same goes for the restroom. The food is good, but not great! Starter - the bread was good and warm, while the soup was good but cold Meat dish - good, but with little meat and too much onion. Noodle dish - lacked seasoning and shrimp, was a bit cold and had too much onion. Desert - Burned donut.
Good prices and food portions. I really like their 2x1 Salchipapas that they have in Uber eats

The food is ok but keep in mind, this is the express drive through so some items tend to get soggy. Service and price point is good for a quick lunch. Salad is precut and stored so the lettuce is b…
The Good: Service and price. Huge servings \n\nI really wanted to like this restaurant as the service was good and the prices were very affordable ($14 for a plate of 1/2 a chicken with soup, salad…
Disappointed on the food, Lomo Saltado the plate should have been called plato de Cebolla Y Papa, bc there was only like three sicles of beef. The appetizer Papa huancaina was served at the same time as main dishes, it was frozen.
As you walk in there is a computer station suggesting you ask for a table for your party. Left over from COVID? My wife and I waited ~ ten minutes for a waiter to appear. His English was so poor we had to ask him to repeat things multiple times. God bless him anyway. The restaurant was at 10% capacity. As I gazed down the aged red banquets, I noticed filthy hand smears all the way down the line. Disgustingly dirty and wholly unacceptable. One drink each and they were well prepared. We finally ordered and eventually received our starving skinny chicken, some salad, and French fries, (not hot, crispy, or fluffy, really inedible) all crammed on a dinner plate. The soup beforehand was less than luke warm and as bland as water. Gross. Sorry. A little love and effort would REALLY help! The good news? It was cheap. That's it.
I don't really leave reviews but I think it is important to share my experience today. I hope that Pollo Inka Management reads this and makes some improvements. The service was ok. But the food was…
Food was blah. Compared to other Peruvian restaurants, the food here falls short. For the price, I expected better tasting food. We came on a Friday evening and it was pretty dead. That should have…
I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid, all the way into adulthood. I walked in today and saw only two servers working. We sat for 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us—no greeting, no bread, no water. Then a large party walked in after us and was immediately served bread and water. It felt discriminatory, and the experience was extremely disappointing. We ended up leaving without eating, and honestly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
I was served old tallarin verde it was brown and tasted disgusting, I go to the other locations all the time and I've never had that happen. The waiter was nice and got them to make a fresh batch for me but now my stomach hurts. Hawthorne location has really gone down hill.
Beans were horrible! Watery and no taste! Everything else was good. To the owner who responded. YES it was your location on Hawthorne and PCH. Sorry dude but I've had the ones at the other location on Artesia and they are so delicious! Yours was a disappointment and disaster. You must have had a bad batch when I dined at your establishment this night. Sorry but the truth is the truth.
We arrived with so much illusion to eat When we ordered the person who took the order that day I did not say hello, she looked upset and in a hurry to serve the next customers. The food was raw and burned, the worst salchipapa we ever ate, the bananas burned but raw inside. The chicken was for my 5 year old son and the way of serving it did not allow us to touch the plate without throwing some of it. The shrimp dish was so salty and full of oil it was not pleasant to eat and to finish the huancaina potato was hard we paid more than $ 120 for food that we did not enjoy😔😪
