Avis sur Tang's Haus Union City
The food was surprisingly comforting and light. The Seolleong Tang was not greasy and the broth was well prepared without addictives. Fresh kimchi made in-house. Highly recommend this place for warm soups.
Tangs Haus' sign caught my eye - the name made me think it was going to be a Chinese Hofbrau. But instead a lively and delicious Korean restaurant. The house made kimchi stood out for me but everything was great. Is there anything more soothing than a bubbling sundubu and a hot bowl of rice? Make sure to save room for the Hotteok Ice Cream.
Oh my god, this place is a hidden gem! I love Korean cuisine and this place is by far one of the best! We stumbled upon it by accident after getting a flat tire and were looking for food near the repair shop. The service was fantastic, and the food was amazing! I would easily travel a long distance just to come back here.
tried tang haus both at the restaurant and through doordash - which experience was really delicious. ive tried both the galbitang and seolleongtang. id say that seolleongtang is probably my go to one. the galbitang had a slight sweetness from the jujube that i didn't love (the overall flavor was good) but the seolleongtang was much more subtle and light in taste - with my personal preference of pepper and salt it was so nourishing and so good for the soul esp on a cold day. their service at the restaurant was attentive and the ambiance was nice and intimate. lots of yummy banchan would def recommend for yall to check it out if youre in the area! tip: - perfect for friends/family/dates - kid friendly - pretty decent amount of parking - lots of dessert options nearby/boba right next door!
I love that the menu is so simple! Everything I have tried so far is absolutely tasty and delicious! And the waitress is also super sweet! Oh they make their own kimchi!! Yum! I have been here during lunch and dinner time. It is usually a little busier on the weekends. The place is small, so it can fill up really fast.
This was our first time coming here, and we are so glad we did. The restaurant is pretty small has maybe 7-8 tables but the moment we walked in it smelled so so good. The menu is small as well but everything we got was so delicious. The Kimchi is one of my boyfriend's favorites, and I absolutely loved the Galbi-Jjim so much that I wanted to get another order. They can even adjust the spiciness for the Galbi-Jjim and they torched the cheese when it got to the table. The restaurant staff was so sweet and attentive. They even helped pack our leftovers into to-go containers. You can tell they really love doing what they do. Note they do close between 2:30pm - 4:30pm each day for a break which they completely deserve ! Please try this place, even if you're not a huge fan of spicy or Korean food, as they have plenty of options. We will definitely be back soon and will bring friends !
Tang's Haus was a lonely, authentic Korean restaurant that guy a spot I didn't know I needed. The side dishes that came with our meal were bangers. I especially liked the kimchee and the cucumber salad. For the main dish I ordered the knee tendon soup, which had chunks of gelatinous cartilage with a nice chewy texture. My friend and I also ordered the kimchee jeon, which I thought had a great crunchy texture. That being said, we left especially stuffed, so depending on how hungry you are, you might need a to go box for leftovers.
We were gonna have Thai next doors but the place was totally empty. So we decided to give this place a try since it was packed. As the name suggests, this place specializes in soups. However, we didn't order any. We instead tried their kalbijim, stone bowl rice, kimchi pancake, and their cold noodles. They were all tasty. We shared all that between the three of us and it was perfect. The kimchi daikon they give you is so good, we asked for seconds. We left happy and fulled. We have to come back and try the soups next time.
First time eating here. I ordered hot stone Bibimbap, I loved it! I ate all of it. It has a lot of vegetables and tasty. Will definitely come back in future.
Seoleong Tang was bomb. Add your own salt. Best korean cold noodles I've had. The side dishes are super authentic. Kimchi jeon was a bit too much jalapeños to my liking. Galbi Tang was very very sweet. Looking forward to coming back to try each item on the menu. The price is cheap compared to other Korean food in the bay area. Owner is extremely kind. One recommendation is for staff to check the tables more often (as there seem to be lots of to go orders, they are very occupied).
Super clean, simple, and tidy. Excellent service with love and care. Food was DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend, and will return.
It is wonderful day to have cold noodle. I love the side dishes as well, even though a little spicy for me. They also gave me a little chocolate bar so I dont feel spicy anymore 😜🍫 kkkkk They have break time from 2:30 to 4:30pm so don’t come around that time 😁😁
Amazing pork galbitang with chesss. All the flavors and banchan were perfect and I am definitely coming back here. Clean menu, atmopshere and vibes
Been here a few times for dinner dine-in and lunch take out, both good experiences. The soups were delicious and meat tender. Salt and season to taste, which I really appreciated. The naenmyun was also well-balanced sweet/salty/tart with chewy sweet potato noodles, great summer choice. There was 3 types of fresh banchan. Also tried the japchae which was really tasty. I always wish for a liittle extra meat but it was still really good. Definitely will come back, looking forward to trying the bibimbap. A little pricey but quality. The serving sizes are sufficient for a guy. Charges a bit extra for takeout.
The stone pot soup was delicious. If you're not into spice, then I would recommend mild. Very limited menu, but it's all done well

Excellent food! Best kimchi in town and friendly service. I had the beef bulgogi bibimbap in a stone bowl and my wife had the oxtail soup. Both delicious.

I like the beef rib soup but my husband likes the pork rib more. We both really enjoy the dessert. Good place to try.
A very good place to eat Korean food. Ordered their rice noodle and stone pot dish. Both were very good. Portions are good sized. They also included several sides, including Kim Chi. Service was excellent. Place is family friendly but its not designed for large groups. Atmosphere is good but not high-end. Plenty of parking in front.

Total Score: 6.20 Bathroom: 3.75/5 Liked the design of the bathroom, but they should maybe invest in a larger sink so water doesn’t get everywhere. Customer Service: 4/5 Very sweet and nice server Ambiance: 3.5/5 Classic Korean restaurant vibes. Wish there were more napkins though cuz the red spice sauce gets everywhere Food: 3.25/5 Food was pretty good comfort food. Sides were good. i wished the kimchi jeon had more flavor and the galbi jjim had more rice cakes. Wow: 0/1 Normal korean restaurant Total Score = BR + CS + 2*AM + 5*FOOD + WOW

The food here is decent and the staff is friendly, but the reason for this review is their unethical up-charging practices. When I ordered food, they automatically assumed I wanted the optional add-ons without even asking. I first thought this was an accidental mistake when they brought Kalbijim with cheese when I never asked for the cheese add-on, but I just visited the restaurant for a second time and they just assumed I wanted the extra tofu+beef option when all I said was that I wanted to order the bibimbap. Both times they never once asked which option I’d like to go with. This is unacceptable and a foolish way to lose a returning customer.
