Ottimo ristorante piemontese. Lo consiglio vivamente.
Ottima cena, conduzione trentennale, servizio cordiale, ottimo cibo piemontese dagli antipasti al dolce. Fornita carta dei vini. Ambiente rilassante e famigliare.
Un must!
A non-touristy trattoria, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Menus feature traditional dishes and classics from days gone by. You can choose from pre-composed menus, which is very useful for trying everything and avoiding the unexpected, astronomical bill. The restaurant is spacious and very simple (which is why it's so beautiful). The owner is extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to the service and customer service. The food is high-quality, well-cooked, and made with local ingredients. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the traditional and original cuisine of Turin.
I booked here for my family and I, based on Google reviews of the best places to eat bagna caoda. We weren't disappointed at all! The owner was very friendly, the atmosphere simple but comfortable. My husband and I chose two tasting menus, and my daughter chose an appetizer and a first course. The menus included three appetizers (the best Russian salad I've ever eaten, a sublime veal tonnano, and a delicious cabbage quiche), and of course the bagna caoda. Delicious, light, with a nice variety of both cooked and raw vegetables, the bagna was phenomenal. Plus, two desserts (chocolate cake and panna cotta, both homemade and delicious). Everything was washed down with water and a carafe of good Barbera. The bill was very fair (€30 each). We highly recommend it, and if we return to Turin, we'll definitely eat here again!!
A lovely discovery in the Santa Rita area. A place from another era, but well-kept and clean. The selection of typical Piedmontese dishes is excellent, from lingua al verde to bagna cauda, including boiled meats. The tasting menus are interesting, where you can try a bit of everything. The wine list is also excellent, with a focus on Barbera. Reasonable prices for good food!

This evening, we wanted the atmosphere of a classic trattoria with a typical Piedmontese menu. We found all of this at the Trattoria "Sotto la Luna" in the heart of Borgo Santa Rita in Turin. Fabrizio takes care of the dining room, and Paolo is the king of the kitchen. The dishes leave no room for interpretation, with few frills in the plating. The dishes draw on traditional recipes from Piedmontese peasant culture. There are several options, including the Full Tasting Menu. The wine list is also very interesting, featuring a meticulous selection of Piedmontese and Italian wines. The courses included veal with tuna sauce, Russian salad, agnolotti, asparagus risotto, and braised beef. All the products offered are strictly homemade with raw materials, locally sourced whenever possible, seasonal, and not pre-processed industrially. A final detail not to be overlooked is the excellent quality/price ratio.
Had an opportunity to visit one evening when visiting Torino for business. Not too far from the city and a good choice to hang out with friends, families and colleagues 😊 Technically one of my initial restaurants in Torino and was impressed by the variety of food, good service and courteous staff.🫡👏👏👏 The home concept was very apt and was very impressive ❤️. It was full in the evening while we had booked a table in advance. Wine was excellent and the food with candle light to be warm. Authentic Italian food was first time and was endorsed by my Italian friends was superb.💕 I had a couple of drinks and snacks on a rainy evening. Thank you Tarttoria Sotto La Luna for providing nice service and good memories.🫡🙏🏻👍👍👍
What can I say? The atmosphere is typical of an old-fashioned trattoria that has retained its spirit. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I went specifically for the bagna cauda and was thrilled. The flavors were well-balanced and delicate. I indulged in a dessert treat with a delicious homemade bunet... there's not much more to say.
Real Italians serving real Italian home-cooked food. Of course Pizzas are great, but so are pasta dishes. The do offer more than pasta, but why, when their pasta is so good! Also, some of the best…

Locale tranquillo e accogliente e personale molto cordiale.
Piedmontese trattoria serving traditional cuisine: the staff is very friendly. We tried the mixed Piedmontese antipasto, the boiled meat with sauces, and the braised beef with taragna polenta. The meat was very tender and flavorful. They serve homemade bread, and even the desserts are homemade. We had a great time. We'll be back to try the bagna cauda, which they prepare year-round.
Typical Piedmontese cuisine. Attentive service, well-prepared dishes. We dined on one of their menus, which included a mixed Piedmontese antipasto and a delicious warm bagna, a recipe with cream, so it's perfect for those who prefer a lighter version. It was accompanied by plenty of vegetables.
When I arrived, I found this trattoria almost by surprise, on a small street with a barely visible sign. I sat down and ordered the first course menu (19 euros). What can I say... good food, a quiet atmosphere, and a friendly owner. Fairly priced, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Recommended for anyone wanting a taste of Piedmontese cuisine.
I recently visited this delightful Piedmontese trattoria and thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. Their bagna cauda, in particular, was simply delicious, with a rich, creamy sauce that perfectly complemented the fresh vegetables served. The trattoria has a homey, casual atmosphere, perfect for a dinner with friends or a relaxing evening with family. The staff was also very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for dishes to try. The restaurant offers very interesting and varied tasting menus. The prices are more than fair for the quality, and almost all menus include desserts, which are also delicious.
The food was good, the waitress was kind. The place was a bit loud, had me leaving with a bit of a headach.
Classic Piedmontese piola, typical local cuisine but with small portions, so-so quality but competitive price, structurally unsightly toilets... good cleanliness and the environment is comfortable but noisy, the screens do what they can... Fabrizio kind but very (pre)occupied, service quite rushed and basic, like the plating... There is no sign of a bathroom for the disabled, good first time... At worst, postponed.
If you're looking to enjoy traditional Piedmontese dishes, especially seasonal specialties such as bagna cauda and boiled meat, in a traditional trattoria atmosphere, this is the place to stop. Service is a little slow, but acceptable if you're looking for a quiet evening with friends. Friendly staff. Prices are moderate to low.
Piedmontese cuisine restaurant in the Santa Rita area of Turin. The restaurant is quite well-known in the neighborhood and frequented mainly by local residents. The menu isn't very varied but features the classic traditional appetizers (tomini, anchovies in green sauce, veal with tuna sauce, etc.). The baugna cauda is available year-round but is nothing special. The service is fast and friendly. Prices are slightly above average for the category. Amazing bollito with sauces and their meat selection Also much recommending the Bagna Cauda which is not too strong, unlike other restaurants. If someone orders bagna cauda in your table, you won't die, which is the sign of a well crafted experience Risotto was exceptional as well Ingredients felt fresh and of quality Their tortellini al ragù piemontese felt a little bit of a lower level when compared to the rest of the items on the menu
I had a good meal and the wine was fine.
Dimenticabile.
To be honest the food was not good...house wine not great either. The waiter spilt a glass of wine all over the table & didn't offer to replace it. We did not enjoy our evening.
