Don't really like the part that I had to go outside to do hookah after I ate i wanted to listen to the music eat & drink & hookah inside.... had to close out tab after eating to go outside & do hookah where you can hardly hear the music other then that it was clean & a nice atmosphere...music was nice drinks a lil watered down didn't get a buzz from it....but I'll probably go back one day just not a fan favorite of mine... oh the food was very spicy & my daughter food she said was awful... they might need a new cook...

Zen is a vibe! From the service to the food and music it was worth it all. They well treated us well. Best Caribbean spot in wappingers I’ll tell you that. The food was delicious! Shout out to Liyah for taking care of us!

Hi, I hosted my mother’s 60th birthday l day party here and it was phenomenal. I worked with the manager Seneca from day one and he was great at planning, helping me coordinate with the decorator, troubleshoot how many food to order for the party, flexible with the guest count ( planned for 50 and 65 people ended up coming) and setting up a great vibes on the day of the event. There was steady communication throughout the event (ie: what food was getting low, mic checks etc) and solution oriented conversations. Everyone loved the food, music, bartenders, drinks and vibe. The salmon, salad, Rasta pasta and rum punch got specific standing ovations lol. I cannot say enough good things about zen lounge. I highly recommend

My fiancé her son and I were there for dinner and it was AMAZING. I follow Zen Lounge on IG and I always wanted to see how the food and atmosphere was like. Being that her son was visiting her from LA, We decided to go there for dinner. It was a slow night due to the weather. But, The service was Amazing…. The prices were Amazing….. The bartender was also the server and he did both jobs with ease. He made Great drinks and Served us with such great food. You can tell that he takes his job seriously. He recommended great drinks and gave his advice on the food. I wish I had his name. 🤦🏾‍♂️ As a DJ I would love to rock in this spot. This can definitely get my money again. We had an incredible brunch experience yesterday at Zen, and it’s safe to say this place is now on our must-visit list. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for a relaxed yet sophisticated dining experience. The tranquil and sophisticated atmosphere of Zen really lives up to its name. The seating was comfortable, the lighting was just right, and the music was soothing, creating an ideal space to unwind and enjoy a good meal. They started us off with their take on the famous Red Lobster biscuits, but with a delightful twist—strawberry butter! These biscuits were absolutely delicious, warm, fluffy, and the strawberry butter added a sweet, tangy kick that was just divine. It was a great way to start our meal and set the expectations high for what was to come. We decided to try the Jamaican steak and eggs, and wow, what a dish! The steak was thick, juicy, and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning. The potatoes that accompanied the steak were phenomenal—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned to absolute perfection with just the right level of spice to give it that authentic Caribbean flavor. We also indulged in the classic burger, and it did not disappoint. The burger was nice and juicy, with fresh toppings that complemented the flavors perfectly. Each bite was a taste of heaven. The customer service was top-tier. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. They truly embodied the warm, inviting spirit that Zen promises in its About Us section. The DJ playing all the right tunes was the cherry on top, creating a vibrant yet laid-back vibe that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Zen offers more than just a meal—it offers a complete dining experience. The blend of traditional Caribbean and soul food with a modern twist, combined with their exceptional service and inviting environment, makes it a standout spot. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend Zen to anyone looking for a premium dining experience with a unique and flavorful menu. Also, shout out to the head chef for making our experience wonderful!

Had their shrimp and grits, their crab cakes and now their chicken and waffles!! Omg this food is out of this world!! Tastes amazing, put together very well!! I will definitely be a reoccurring customer at this establishment! So glad Wappingers is starting to bring in some great eateries!!

8 Tiny shrimp makes a 9.00 upgrade to a 25.00 dollar dish? The decor is great the service is impeccable. I just need then to make sure the quality of the ingredients is up to par. This isn't my first time here and they always short the dish.

They could work on the food a little bit especially the tacos. I loved my waitress lani she was amazing5 stars for her. The vibe in here is also great and dj is on point!

I’ve been here twice and hands down I love the atmosphere the music decor all on point. The crispy jerk wings and chicken Rasta pasta on point. Customer service could use some improvement but it's a new establishment that I’m willing to grow with this place. Will definitely be back.

I originally gave a 5 star review on Google because the food is delicious. HOWEVER, I checked yelp reviews and a lot of people were saying they found hair in their food... so l decided to OPEN UP my shrimp quesadilla to make sure there was nothing in there and of course I found a piece of hair! 🥲 I already ate most of my food, so I wonder what else was in there! It's a shame because the food is very flavorful, but it seems like there’s an issue with cleanliness. Me and bf are upset because we spent almost $50 for our food just to find something in it. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Zen Caribbean Soul Fusion: Come hungry, leave… eventually. The food here is delicious, no doubt about it, but you might want to bring a sleeping bag and an overnight kit if you plan to eat. It took over four hours for our meal to arrive, and when it finally did, the order was incomplete. By then, we were less excited about the flavors and more exhausted from the wait. If you have the patience of a saint or a lot of free time, you will enjoy the food. Otherwise, consider this more of an endurance test than a dining experience. Update* Addressing the owners response, I have attached a text message that happened real time during the visit Zen. No reason to make up the timeline. It was already three hours into the visit, before food was delivered and over for hours before all food was served. I’ve changed my review of the food to one star because no one should have to wait half of business day to receive a food order.

Writing this review as I sit in the spot with music bumping. Couldn’t be more disappointed. This is my 2nd time here and all I can say it they have so much potential but it just misses for me. Party of 5. We showed up around 1010pm and were seated instantly. It’s now 1129 and our entree still hasn’t arrived. We watched a couple get served eat and drink and leave before we got ours. All we got was apps. I refrained from writing a review the first time I was here but the service was the same. Atmosphere great. But that’s where it ends. Drinks are forgetful. Hookah cheap decent pricing. That’s the reality. Maybe when you show up you’ll get served better and have a decent time but for me? For a second time? It’s a lot of hope and disappointment. I’m going to save this and hopefully I get my dinner soon. If it wasn’t the fact that I ate nothing today I would’ve left already but it is what it is. I’ll continue to wait. Let’s see how long until I can have my stew chicken. Oh and the DJ on this night 4/11/25, he should’ve been put out in the rain with his equipment. Song choices were on point; the way he put them together were not 1147 paid for my apps and drinks and walked out!
