Ever heard of a sub shop with no chips? You have now it’s called Firehouse Subs Webster. I’m not sure how this place stays in business they evidently cannot afford to stock chips. In all honesty they did have some chips you had a choice between bbq and jalepeno that’s it rest of the rack was empty. This brand uswd to be a great quick option and maybe it still is somewhere out there but not at this location. They do not seem to have any pride in the brand which is a shame.
We had the pepperoni pizza meatball sub. The bread didn’t seem to be toasted at all. The place wasn’t very clean. It’s a small place and they were busy so they probably didn’t have a chance to clean between rushes. The tv was on and the volume was up really load. The soda fountain was really dirty. Again! I’m hoping it was just a rush prior to me getting there. The girl who took our order was very pleasant though. I like firehouse subs so hopefully this was just a one off visit.
My sandwich was delicious. It appeared only one employee was available to make sandwich while others were busy doing other things so there was abnormal wait to get your food. Glad to know Alvin FH is finally back open
Is this location even open anymore? No phone calls are answered, 60% of the menu hasn't been on the website for over a month, went by and the door was locked at lunchtime.
It was sad. The chip rack was almost all empty, no lids were available, drink machine spit as much as poured the liquid, the lady at the register was not familiar when I said I wanted it fully evolved. I watched one person doing everything, from taking orders to making sandwiches. Running back and forth, and took much longer than we should to get our sandwiches. First time I've ever seen a Firehouse Subs in this poor condition. Not sure if I'll revisit this location.
Did a big order for our store. Missing a sandwich and three others were wrong. Called them and they refused to replace or refund our order. Didn't seem concerned that a sandwich was missing all together. i had to order something else for lunch with no refund. Terrible way to run a business . Location deserves a 0 for bad service
I stopped by this Firehouse Subs location today and had a frustrating experience. The staff was fairly friendly when I walked in, but when I got to the register the cashier tried to charge me $13.99 for a sub that was clearly listed as $11.49 on the menu. When I asked about the difference, he told me the owner was coming later that day to change the menu prices and that their policy was to charge the higher price anyway. I explained that the menu price is the advertised price and that’s what customers should be charged, but he refused to honor it. Because of that, I chose not to purchase the sandwich and walked out. If prices are changing, the menu should be updated before customers are asked to pay more than what’s posted. Otherwise it feels misleading.
If i could give a ZERO star review, I would. My office placed an order through firehouse subs website. 6 sandwich meals. They did not have tuna, so instead of contacting me and finding a solution, they just completely did not contact me. So when the order arrived, we were short one sandwich. Now as for the rest of the sandwiches, TWO were completely incorrect. Upon contacting the store and informing them of their mishap, they told me I wouldn’t be getting any sort of refund. Essentially this store is completely disorganized and clearly mixed our order with someone else’s. Whoever answered the phone and handled this situation poorly definitely should work someplace where they don’t have to deal with customers. Don’t give this place your business. $40 wasted.
Ice machine was broken. Tea dispenser was leaking tea all over the counter and Only had unsweet tea. They were out of the garlic bread for the French dip sandwich. Chip selection was minimal. They were not restocking the shelf. Took more than 15 minutes to get our food and we were only the third person in line. Food was suboptimal. No soap dispenser in the men’s bathroom. Gross.
We went to Firehouse Subs to get our T Mobile Tuesday Hook & Ladder Special. We were told to order through the app. The sandwich wasn’t available in the app so the cashier told us we could get another sandwich as a bogo. He said they ran out of the Hook & Ladder meats and weren’t prepared for the T Mobile deal. He also said they weren’t a corporate store and his owner didn’t want to honor those deals. When the bogo wouldn’t show up on the app, he called the owner and then said they couldn’t do anything about the T Mobile deal. We recently moved to this area and had been looking for a Firehouse Sub so this deal led us to look it up. The owners negative behavior toward me as a customer turned me off as a return customer.
Won’t ever be visiting here again. Workers leave the open light off so that people won’t come in. When we went to pick up our food, it was covered in flies. The place is dirty and the workers are lazy. My sandwich which comes with bacon-didn’t even come with bacon.
my experience at this location was terrible and I normally love firehouse, but on this night dec.18, 2025 it was not good at all I was there between 6&7 pm eating dinner with my wife, the sandwhich I ordered was the French dip, when I got it it was flat, no flavor and was made by two juvenile looking girls who were more busy messing with their phones, instead of paying attention to customer service, laughing out loud and giggling constantly, the restaurant was totally empty, we were the only two there, now I can see why, bad customer service and horribly made sandwhiches! They forgot to give me the dipping gravy for the French dip!, because they were too busy playing on the phone.!, also the floor was dirty and the potatoe chip crack was empty, never going back, yall used to be good! Seems not anymore, I would give zero stars but it wouldn’t allow it
What's the point of staying open until 9 if yoir going to serve cold sandwiches at 8. I understand the employees want to go home after their shift but if this means you don't serve your regular menu after a certain point that should be made clear and consistent across all locations. I love firehouse subs but this is very disappointing. I hope this review makes its way to the management and its addressed. I dove 20 minutes to get food at your establishment and only to be greated with the news that I cant enjoy what I came for. A HOT SANDWICH.
Well damn. This experience was dreadful. My wife and I ordered 2 steak and cheese meals and it was just terrible. I should have known it would be bad when we walked in the door and seen dirty tables, stuff on floor and only 2 people working on a Saturday. But wait, it gets worse. These 2 medium sub meals cost $27+ and was not worth $7! Took the glasses to get something to drink and there was no ice in the machine. The lady said "Oh it's been one of those days. I'm not even supposed to be here today, it's my day off." Red flag number 4, almost 25 minutes later, with only 3 people in the place waiting for their food, we eventually get our meals. The bread was soggy and from what I don't know because there was hardly any meat on it at all. This is one time I wished I actually took pictures of my food cause you would not believe how little was on here and how much they charged for those 2 sandwiches. It's literally like they split the meat from one sandwich and put it on two. I guess they were running low on meat too as well as being out of a large selection of chips. The only reason this place is getting one star is because Mrs. Vicky's Potato Chips were delicious. Everything else was just terrible and I would not recommend going to this location until they're under some kind of new management! STAY AWAY!!!! FFS spend your hard earned money where you can get better food and what you paid for, because you WILL NOT get it here!
If you are going to advertise and offer Veterans Day special you should honor that!!!! Obviously you were not sincere in honoring veterans. Lost my business!
If you "Stop taking orders at 8:45 pm" maybe change your closing hours to reflect that instead of 9pm. It's kinda false advertising... Turning away customers when your open sign is still flashing is bad for business.
I wanted to try out the firehouse closer to me, i usually go to the one in Pearland. Now im gonna keep going to Pearland, the service was terrible. I felt as if the crewmember was making fun of my intelligence. Making small comments while I was ordering. I knew I should have stopped there. Lastly when I was waiting for my sandwich, this curly haired guy was touching his face and fixing his hair with his gloves on. That made me feel so disgusted, I should have ordered a refund. I did not spend $20 just for the food safety to be disgusting. When we got our food, it was okay, my friends sandwich however, half of the sub was cold, the meat was cold, it was as if they didn’t heat it up. It was meatballs btw.
We dined in and ordered at 1:26 2 small sandwiches it is currently 1:50 as I am typing this review. 5 workers in here, a lot of ppl are waiting to pick up DoorDash orders. These workers are moving SLOWER THAN SNAILS. I’ve already seen 2 workers touch their nose with their gloves on that they are wearing while preparing peoples orders.. just disappointed in the extremely long wait we are having to experience. First time and probably last time coming here. Update 1:58 just got our sandwiches. Disappointed is all I can say. Not the best service.
Ugh. This place used to be good. Maybe just this location. The guys were trying thier best. But I think online orders are messing them up. Got our orders wrong twice. It's a shame. Fire fighters are the best.
This location is terrible. Anytime I order online my order is never correct. They always forget to put the ingredients I ask for. Sandwich was super soggy as if they did not notice that I put a pick up time. When I asked about my drink the girl rudely said "you can grab it yourself" yet I ordered a bottled drink and those are behind the counter.
I used to frequent this firehouse fairly often and always had a good experience, but today was quite different. Sandwich was tiny for the price. Close to $10 for a medium sandwich that was 4-5 slices of meat total. Very sloppy as well. Won’t be returning anymore given that the quality of the food has dropped off a cliff. Also took close to 10 mins for my sandwich with one order ahead of me…..prioritized a to go order that was ordered after mine.
