On 8/8/23, I began my trek to Astoria from Brooklyn to sink my teeth into what I hoped would be a delicious sandwich since it was my first time. Compton’s did not disappoint me because I’m truly a sandwich gal. My sandwich was absolutely delicious and I truly enjoyed it. I tried the Tony sandwich and I bought the Chadie for my son. The only downside to this experience was my bread became a bit soggy because of my commute home. I’ve eaten at other sandwich shops and this has never happened before. However, it is not enough to make me sour towards Compton’s because regardless of it, I still devoured that sandwich as if I hadn’t eaten in a few days lol. Compton’s has been at this location for the past five years. I’m glad that I was able to dine at this restaurant. Much success and blessings to Compton’s.

Some of the best sandwiches in Queens without a doubt. Bit pricey but what the heck. I just wish the drive into Astoria and finding parking was much easier but yeah, great sandwiches are worth the travel. Their “Tony” and “Chadie” are both Must haves.

I’ve been following these guys for a bit on IG. Was eagerly excited to try them but always got delayed or they’re closed when I’m out of work! Finally I had a chance and it was during our great pandemic. This place is just awesome. Customer service, cleanliness, and the vibe of the place. It’s retro/punk in my opinion. There’s ample sandwiches to choose from, and all of them delicious. The patty melt is juicy and done right. Mozzarella sticks are great. Meat stacked high on my hero. Deliciousness in every bite. Their vodka sauce is awesome! Taste good on everything. The old fashion coffee drink is delicious! Can’t wait to go back and support this amazing sandwich spot! And I just found out today they have a burger spot!!! Can’t wait to try that too!

This place is delicious. I’ve had a few of their amazing sandwiches and they’re all perfect. Fresh amazing bread, top ingredients, and cozy vibe. Sandwiches are big and filling, so go hungry. I love around the corner so am always stopping in. You should too!

I went there for lunch. The location was 21st and 30th. The interior was accommodating with mini arcade games on the window counter. I ordered the fried fish(cod) hero with a side of fries and a cane sugar cola. The portions were medium-sized-I was expecting more size-wise. Staff was friendly. Pricing is steep. Overall, flavor and quality was good!

I bought into the hype and boy was I let down. It was average at best and definitely not a $14 sandwich. The pics on their site looked better than in person. Good flavor though... I won't go back.. just being honest. Oh their tater tots were 🔥🔥

Driving here is ok, theres street parking and the location seems not to be too busy, I found parking in a couple of minutes, however it is a residential area so there is alternate side parking, so look out. At this time there is no inside sitting due to the current state of pandemic, but they have some outside sitting and they are ok, there is a lot of sun on u there but not terrible. You walk in and this is definitely a hipster style deli/ burger/breakfast place, they take cards and they have a lot of very artesian drinks. The menu is personalised and the names of the meals is pretty entertaining. The staff is ok, not overly friendly and not rude, they are fine. They take cards here. We walked in and made our order, we made our way out to the table and they brought our meals out to our table. BURRATA BURGER- I got this burger medium well, cause I dont like my burger to bleed. I think it was a BIG mistake ordering this. The brioche bun was pretty amazing, the burger was ok, the burrata, as expected was dripping all over the place and the TRUFFLE mayo was not at all tasting like truffle, so I assume they must put a dust of truffle so they can call it a truffle mayo. it does not taste like anything. it is a very flavourless sandwich. I got some fancy hipster drink, and I was ok, I dont remember what it was. Overall it was good to see the place and try, but I was not impressed.

Woody chicken cutlet (REALLY chewy/stringy, honestly tough to swallow), breakfast burrito had about 25% of the sausage that the website photo shows. This place could be great if they served ingredients/portions that reflect the pricing—staff/owners seem like good people, posting this review in hopes that they turn it around.

Hi, native New Yorker here. Bought two philly cheese, the food had good taste, finding parking was fairly simple. However, overpriced & skimpy on the meat, standard Hero (hoagie) bread and the last bite was disappointing 😂 it was missing meat! (See pics 7/8 of 8) I can get a Philly cheese steak or chopped cheese more filling from a corner store or a food cart and pay a whole lot less. I'm not even curious to taste your cold sandwiches... DEFINITELY better spots in Astoria. Thanks 👍🏼

Ordered my fave vodka eggplant. Came with zero sauce. Not sure i can come back if they can’t get my usual right.

* update* the next day i got SEVERE food poisoning!!! It's probably from the old food they put in my order!! Been sick for 2 weeks. If the restaurant will not follow special requests they should not have that as an option for take out!!! Received a horrible sandwich with cheese and black old avocado... just awful. If they don't care for instructions at least remove the section for requests so customers can order from another place!

It is with extreme dissatisfaction that I report the incident regarding my order . I placed the order for pickup and, after a 15-minute wait, the time was suddenly extended. To my surprise and indignation, I arrived at the establishment after 30 minutes and found the place closed. This demonstrates a lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. I wasted my time for a service that was simply not provided. This is unacceptable conduct. I am putting this online as a warning to other consumers.
