All our dishes, appetizers, and drinks were delicious.
Attentive service combines with unique dishes served in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.
Always great. This morning we loved the expresso martini.
Good food, great service and nice atmosphere. Lovely day all in all!
Incredible food and great customer service. Will completely recommend
Great food and warm hospitality! The mini churros were particularly great. I'll definitely be coming again soon
Stamp is my go-to Bar & Grill in San Carlos. Great, friendly service along with a delicious menu and generous drinks makes it a restaurant not to miss! Five Big Stars!
What a great upgrade on Laurel St. service was so great, ox tail soup was amazing and even the kids chicken fingers were great. Very happy with this place and look forward to returning.
Great happy hour food with lots of great options, fantastic tastes, and perfect service. I’ll definitely be back!
Had a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options
We had take out lunch today. The Stamp Burger, Mac and cheese and pork quesadillas were fantastic.
Wonderful experience, amazing food (specially the steak), great service, clean restaurant… recommend everyone to go there.
I have had the fettuccine with salmon absolutely incredible I had to buy another plate and take it home
I love food, especially the short rib tacos. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants.
Unbelieveable food and service. They treat you like family, will definitely be back after our first time being there.
this restaurant has one of the best burgers I have ever tasted excellent service I recommend it
Exceptional underappreciated dinner and drinks spot in the heart of San Carlos
This place has really good food. The drinks were pretty good too.
Wonderful eating experiences for both me and my partner. Thank you team Stamp!
Our go-to spot in San Carlos! The food and service is amazing as is the decor.
Excellent meal ! ! Great Service ! ! Super Fast ! ! .. I stopped in with my son because we were playing PokemonGo (suggested area in San Carlos) and we just picked Stamp, somewhat randomly. Very pleased. .. Food was really great. Kids meal (Ribeye) was an amazing deal.
The food is always 2 steps ahead of what you "thought" may have tasted good before. The menu is often updated with new options. The atmosphere is always classy and yet somehow down to earth. You can not go wrong with any of the drinks from the bar either.
My family and I had a wonderful meal at stamps. The service was excellent and the food was really really good. I was also frequent customer of their previous restaurant in Burlingame. The owner, Steve, was always quick to help with a great bottle of wine and is always courteous and nice as are his staff. I highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to go back!
First time at STAMP. Great dinner! Terrific, friendly service. Owner comes to each table to check on your experience (so rare these days). Menu is more California/Mediterranean and priced right. We left Happy STAMPers and definitely will be back with friends. Best new restaurant in San Carlos.
Excellent dinner and wonderful desserts! Thoroughly enjoyed the salmon dinner and seafood linguine. And the key lime cheesecake is to die for! Great atmosphere and service as well.
Great food and service. Very nice list of appetizers and entrees. Full bar and nice wine list. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Dining after 6pm highly recommend having a reservation.
Great gin martinis. A good wine selection. Their ceaser salad is better with extra lemon squeezed upon the leaves. Very, very good steak taco - although I'm not keen on their nachos (except it, too, is especially tasty with chorizo). Steak quesadilla is wonderful. In fact, all meats are of very good quality. Their bolegnase sauce is very rich and lovely with a Justin cab. Service is exceptional...they care. Really. I don't extol too often. Stamps is worthy.
I don't give 5 stars very often but will because of the great service. The owner, Steve I believe, was very engaged and visited our table frequently. All of our dishes were delicious and fresh. We will be coming back with our family and would definitely recommend.
We held our retirement celebration in their outdoor dining area that was festive with holiday decor & heat lamps. The food, service and drinks were awesome! Members of my team had not been to Stamp’s, but said they’ll be returning too!
REALLY GREAT PLACE , EXCELLENT FOOD & SERVICE . We had brunch today with my daughter, she picked Stamp Bar& Grill, we shared salmon and rib eye sandwiches with fries ( really good) and soup, Steve the owner came out to talk to us and offered a free desert as first time guests : we got churros THANK YOU !
This is my first time here. What a great restaurant. Oxtail was the best I've ever had. Steve the bartender is the best and the cocktails were amazing. Best new place in San Carlos. Definitely will be back
Excellent ox tail stew. Carnitas quesadilla was good but lacking something. Needed some kick salsa to go with it though. Other than that excellent service. And great ambiance. Thank you for being so flexible with the last minute sitting even during covid
Such an amazing meal and service. Steve was very helpful and professional. We ordered the salmon and the lasagna with beef. Both meals were very very good with generous portions.
Had an event at Stamp just for a mixer! Light appetizers hosted by the event. I had the Chocolate Martini.. rich and strong!! Enjoyed it but will try something lighter yet strong next time! Cool place!
I've come here for both dates and for work functions. It has a really good charm and ambiance for both. The oxtail stew is one of the best things I've ever had. Service is really good!
Had an memorable experience despite the cold and rainy weather. All the dishes were amazing including the service. One of the best restaurants in San Carlos.
Liked this.place, food, the people friendly, had one of their signature drinks, the manhatten made with tequila, not for me, but could to try new things. Food above average, made with good , fresh, products, think Gourmet Mexican,
Delicious truffle gnocchi brought me back for this second visit. The skirt steak over risotto will be bringing me back for a third!! So yummy!
Moose and Eray they are amazing Hospitality Food always great Thank you cents I’ll be back soon 👍
Excellent dining destination. Ray, the manager, is fabulously attentive. The Ox-tail stew is my go to meal is heavenly. We simply love Stamp B&G, which is always our number one choice
Everything was amazing and they were super accommodating to my gluten allergy! Even desserts, loved it here!!
Stamp is such a great choice in the vast array of food options that exist in downtown San Carlos. The menu gets a refresh often to keep things interesting, the service is consistently top shelf, and the drink menu is awesome. I haven't had a bad meal at Stamp in the years since they opened, and I expect they will continue to set the high bar for getting your money's worth for a fun night out.
The most engaging and most amazing server, Steve accommodated all of our needs, and they have the best paella that we’ve ever had, the atmosphere is very nice white tablecloths, Music playing, spectacular food and they even steamed my vegetables, the salmon is wild and tastes amazing with a grilled flavor, now my favorite restaurant !!
Went for girls night out and had a great time. The cocktails were unique and tasty. The poke appetizer was fresh ans flavorful as was the calamari. We shared salad and entrées and were happy with all of them. Our server was competent and friendly. We loved our flourless chocolate cake for dessert.
I had the calamari and an 805 and beer is some of the coldest and best on draft on laurel street the owner muss was an absolute pleasure to meet
The Chamber had an after hours mixer last week-Tuesday. The bar owners hosted the event and provided a beautiful spread - over and above!! Very Gracious Hosts, the set up was beautiful, they were very welcoming, although I never met either of them before, felt like I knew them my entire life! I would dine in here every night of the week! Great atmosphere ❤️ 5🎖
Great vegetarian options on the menu. I had the vegetarian paella w/ a side of sauteed spinach. Scrumptious! Good wines available, too. Fair prices, and great service!
Came here last week and was blown away. Just had to come back today and again the food was phenomenal. We've had the ribeye, pork chop, seafood tostadas, and the chile relleno. Both times we've had the white truffle gnocci because they are so delicious. I have to mention that the service here is outstanding. I highly recommend this place.
The food was exceptional. This was my first time here. We got the gnochi for appetizer and it was so good- if you love butter, parmesan cheese and truffle you have to try this! I got the oxtail stew for dinner and it just blew me away. The meat was so tender and the stew was very flavorful and so was the rice. I highly recommend getting this!! My boyfriend got the pork chop and he loved it. The meat was cooked really well and the veggies was delicious as well. We have been really enjoying Stamp. We recently tried their hamburger and it was delicious, the meat was perfectly cooked and the buns were nicely toasted. In my opinion it is much better than the one I had at Johnston Saltbox. TRY IT!! I would highly recommend this place. We are definitely going back!
Delicious!! Look- I won't complain about the prices because it's a fancyish restaurant, what do you expect? All there is to know is that the service is fast and friendly, and the food is spectacular! Split ahi tuna poke and paella, and neither dish disappointed. Tuna was better than any that ive had in California, and the paella reminded me of Spain!! Desserts- mango Panna Cotta and flourless chocolate cake- stole the show!! Pictures below. Great job stamp!!
It was my seven year old kid's idea to grab lunch there the other day. It was my third or fourth time at the restaurant, but that last time was truly special. The swordfish that I had was impeccable. Sooo good. Gentle. Amazing flavor. My kid had rib eye tacos. OMG. Those were to die for. A decent selection of well selected wines complemented the experience quite greatly. It was an incredible lunch experience.
As a local, I’m stunned to have found the BEST oxtail stew in town! You wouldn’t believe how delicious this stew is, it’s absolutely amazing 🤤👍🏻 I also love their fried stuff! This restaurant has made my day 💕 Not to mention that their service is awesome as well ✌🏻😄 very friendly staff, I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone
A pretty good spot. The menu is quite the eclectic mix, and a bit confusing at first. First time there I did the oxtail stew and it was quite tasty. Second time I decided just to go with something that sounded weird to see what would happen: smoked salmon quesadilla. It's probably a bit of a cheat to put truffle oil on a quesadilla, but damn that was a welcome addition. It was an all out brawl in my mouth, in a good way. I just gotta like the place for being different and really doing things that are familiar but odd.
Was greeted by the staff when I arrived. The food was really good. They had just opened up in June so I wanted to give them a try. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed.
We went after the Farmers Market on Sunday. They had a nice Prefix Lunch Special for $19.99. My girlfriend ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese 🍝 with a Cesar salad 🥗, I ordered the Wagyu Beef Sliders 🍔 and the Macaroni and Cheese 🧀 . Everything was delicious and service was great and attentive. Will definitely be back soon 🤩
Finally dining in after restrictions have been lifted! We chanced upon Stamp while walking along looking for a place to get lunch. We were greeted by Steve, shown to our table and he explained the menu in detail! Everything we ordered was excellent - the Colorado lamb riblets dish was juicy and not gamey at all, the oxtail stew very comforting, and the duck was tender and tasty. The risotto with the duck was so good, and enough for two people. We were given a complimentary fruit tart which was really good too. The crust was crispy and light, unlike the traditional hard and heavy ones. We will be back! PS. Look for Steve .... excellent service!

Came in for the first time despite walking by this place several times. I always thought "it's a steakhouse" which I don't really stop by with the kids in tow. However, we were trying to find a place that had an acceptable chocolate dessert for one, and not-a-steak for another. The menu had so many good options, and clearly it's not just a steakhouse. But, it does have some good menu options that are steakhouse-like and lots of other good options for kids and a good selection of drinks. We had the oxtail stew, seafood stew, rigatoni bolognese, flourless chocolate cake, and truffle fries. The service was great and very friendly and the ambience is not too stuffy. It can get loud, but that was ok. Overall, I really liked this place, and will add it to the kid-approved list of Laurel restaurants.
Stamp is an excellent restaurant with delicious food and outstanding service. Our family and friends always enjoys a great meal and atmosphere. Edwin has been our server the last two times we’ve had a meal at Stamp. He has done an outstanding job and gives us just the right amount of attention. The rest of the wait staff does a great job also. I would recommend Stamp to anyone looking for great food, hospitality and atmosphere.
This is our “go to” place for super kind, attentive staff, a good bar with a nice selection of wines by the glass and elegant stemware, and a menu that has expanded to include some really yummy housemade pastas and a seafood paella that is delicious and healthy. Love the fresh bacon in the Caesar, with just the right amount of tasty dressing (not too goopy!) The decor inside is pretty and very comfortable (with sports screens for those who are interested, but easy to ignore if it’s not your thing.) outside sidewalk seating is protected from the wind and the staff are very accommodating with the heaters, thank you!! Some menu items change seasonally (love the protein-rich quinoa salad for summer and we’re hoping the Impossible meat bolognese returns for fall/winter!) Ray and”Moose” always have a friendly smile and their kindness sets a warm and welcoming tone for this neighborhood gem!

Great food and service. Nice location in San Carlos.
Excellent food, awesome service. A bit pricey for me
Nice outdoor seating and premium cocktails. Charcuterie plate is weird, as they add salmon? Otherwise good.
Excellent food, cocktails are soso, staff is great. Owner very personable, comes by the table and chats. Brought us digestivos twice 😃
Very good service excellent meals portions are very small could have put a little bit more on the plate for as much as you pay for it but the place was excellent if you don't eat very much you'll love this place good food
Good food, great service, pricey. Spent $100 for a dinner for two, all included (2 appetizers, 1 entree, all shared, tax, tip, 1 beer, 1 glass of wine, no dessert)
Interesting menu. Dessert was divine. Fish tacos had excellent fish but too salty.
Delicious food and drinks, patio seating and friendly staff. A little weird that drink prices aren't on the menu, it's not like the ingredients are at market prices!
Had a great meal with the family. Great service and great food. Price is on the expensive side but expected.
Stamp has a very eclectic menu. Everything from ahi poke, to seafood tacos and ceviche. They have a nice selection of appetizers, soups and salads, and entrees. Wine lists very decent, and they have over half a dozen beers on tap as well. The service was attentive but not intrusive, which is always wonderful!
Lovely staff, great deserts, outdoor seating for COVID was charming but the food was a mix of great and some dishes were really not so good. 5 stars for staff tho!
Bruschetta was not good, too dry. The duck was delicious. The waiting time was so long. When we came, we were told to wait an hour to be seated despite booking a table in advance.
We ordered the oxtail stew which was VG, served over risotto with veggies. Two friends ordered the prefixed lunch for $20 which was bbq ribs, veggies, and mashed potatos. Not a big order but they were satisfied. We would definitely go back to try other dishes off the menu. Give this place a try.
A bit disappointing. The food was bland and our server was disengaged. I do like the fact that the leadership are highly engaged in the operation. I think because the place is relatively new there is a curiosity from the locals but you have to give a great experience to keep them coming back and I was not overly impressed.
Stamp Bar and Grill in San Carlos is a solid go-to spot if you're looking for a lively and versatile dining experience. The ambience strikes a great balance between casual and upscale, with a modern, inviting vibe. Whether you're seated indoors or out on the patio, the setting is comfortable and welcoming — perfect for everything from a casual date night to a group hangout. The menu offers a solid variety of food and drink options, with something for everyone. Their vegan dishes are thoughtfully prepared and flavorful, not just afterthoughts. The drink list is also impressive, featuring local beers, creative cocktails, and a well-curated wine selection. One of the highlights is their outdoor patio, which is spacious and great for sunny days or warm evenings. Inside, multiple screens make it an ideal place to catch a sports game without feeling like you're in a typical sports bar. Service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Expect to spend around $100 or more for two people if you're doing drinks and an appetizer with your meal — a bit on the higher side, but the quality and atmosphere make it worthwhile. Overall, Stamp Bar and Grill delivers a satisfying, well-rounded experience.
There seems to be always reservations available, which is nice! Been eyeing this place and finally got to try it with my parents. Tried Mexican genre this time - ceviche, queso something with mushroom, quesadilla with shrimp (custom order) - all was delicious! Store bought tortilla chips though and the margarita took forever. Next time will come back to try the pastas
GOOD COOKING - Menu has a Mexican twist. Salmon entree was excellent. Tuna poke appetizer was good but small for $18. Kids menu. Need bread service, and fix the lights (dim them). With a few tweaks it could get 5 stars.

This was my first time dining at Stamp. We loved the menu, and my friend said her lasagna was the best she'd ever eaten. (A huge compliment!) I took off stars because the waiter did not pay enough attention to my allergies. He seemed to pay attention and wrote down everything. However, he put a plate down in front of me that clearly had allergens... Several in a sauce. Chef missed it and the waiter didn't even look before serving me. Then, he told me I could have a dessert that I knew had an allergen in it. He seemed to care and try, but his mistake would've been my trip to the ER. I did not feel safe.

Solid but small menu. Only one vegetarian option and surprisingly limited beer selection for a bar. The creme brulee was excellent.
Prices are high but a $12 add on for a tiny amount of beef on the nachos is crazy. $4 at most. Mac n cheese was good.
The place is ok. Nothing great about it on a Monday evening. Biggest disappointment was lack of vegetarian options. They only had a pasta. Nothing else. The server offered veggie tacos that were meh. No cilantro. No flavor. A food truck does way better.
Good location and good ambiance but ALL of the food we ate was just ok. Sort of bland and prepared feeling. For the price and quality of restaurant I was disappointed. Tons of san carlos restaurants are like this. They rely on location instead of delivering an exceptional product.
Mediocre food, pricey for the quality. Some dishes were unreasonably packed with oils and fats. Duck confit was totally tasteless, poorly seasoned and overcooked. Did not like their overly eager and intrusive service either.
Special menu for special day. I think it's a bit expensive than usual. Fettuccine is outstanding. Pork Chop is good. Oxtail Stew Risotto is Not that Risotto... Very disappointed for the desserts, especially Churro.
One of good restaurants this street. Not bad.

I really had high hopes for this place! But the food was not so good in taste. And one of our friends got severe stomach problems right after eating the chicken quesadilla
Ordered a medium rare filet mignon and got served a leathery shoe.. two stars for the attentive service
Lasagna was terrible so was the bread served for the table which was upon request. Salad was soaked with dressing, unless you like it that way ask for it on the side.
Original review: One of my new favorite places in San Carlos. Tasty food, great service, decent wine. Update: Went for lunch and everything was meh to bad. Fish tacos were flavorless, chicken parm had almost raw bread and weird tasting marinara sauce. It might be better for dinner but it has certainly gone downhill recently.
Sponsored a 20 people team dinner that I want to make a monthly activity. Good service in a pretty cool downtown area. Three things that left me disappointed are - 1. They close at 9 PM 2. The pre-fix menu was good but the actual items didn't feel value for money I'll find other options for my next month's dinner.
Got the mango marg, tasted like mango cough syrup. I dont know if the bartender forgot the tequila or if they and it cost $15. Only giving 2 stars because their food looks amazing but that drink was bad.
Although we enjoyed the wine and atmosphere- the service was terrible and food bland. The waiter barely knew the menu and just said all was great. He also never ever checked back to see if we wanted more drinks or to check in. We were so surprised that the food was so mediocre. We got the specialty oxtail stew which was completely bland, along with the a mix of appetizers. The kind of food that looks good only to be a huge let down . Won’t be going back.
Check your bill , they seem to like to over charge you for cocktails. Not just a little bit as in double, stealing from the very customers that pay the bills
Got horrible food poisoning from this place. Lunch wasn't real tasty either to be frank. Chicken sandwich in case someone is wondering.
This food is close to inedible! The ribs were dry and hard as a rock! The $16 avacado salad was the size of a small cereal bowl and romaine lettuce was totally limp! The French fries were little hard pieces and the churros were small limp circles. Sandwich also very small. Everything over priced! Would never order from them again!
Have never and would never eat at Stamp! These horrible people were my downstairs neighbors. They made my life hell. They argued, yelled at their 2 sons, yelled at me, my friends who came to visit, inconsiderate, nosy, & disrespectful towards me & the country I was born in the United States where I am very proud to live. Rude, crazy & gossipy. Never have I experienced a husband & wife so mean spirited. Angry, nasty & rude. I would never set foot in their restaurant!
Ordered a salad through Doordash, 3 different drivers showed up in a 40 minute period and it wasn't ready, so Doordash cancelled my order. Drivers cannot wait that long!
