This is my favorite place for Pho in the Berkeley area. They are always friendly, polite, and willing to make adjustments to the menu items. While I was pregnant I didn't want to eat anything raw so they would brown the meat in the #1 for me, and I also wasn't supposed to have sprouts so they would package up basil, jalapeno, and limes without the sprouts just for me. Orders never take very long and everything tastes amazing, is fresh, and hot (or cold, depending!). I don't think I can ever get tired of eating here. It's wonderful. My only wish is they would stay open later.
Amazing Pho, rich broth and yummy veg and meat. I got the #1 and all at the table loved it. The shrimp Bahn mi was absolutely the BEST we’ve ever had. Kids got the chicken and rice and amazingly, ate every bite!!! Definitely coming back! Friendly, sweet service and AH-amazing food!
Best pho in the East Bay!! Broth is very clear with a rich dark brown color, great flavor, large portions. Other food is also great, but the pho is just wonderful. Great vibes, fast service, reasonable prices. Perfect little spot.
The key thing is the food, the pho and the other items are great, too. And the owners/workers are super. My kid and I love coming here. The improvements to the outside space are great--they closed in the deck area.
Speedy and delicious- we stopped here on our way home after a long road trip. It was Sunday afternoon and we were able to walk in and order right away. Food took less than 10 minutes and was delicious. Highly recommend any of the bánh mì sandwiches and the vermicelli with chicken was also delicious.
Quick, no frills, tiny menu (just the good stuff). Best broth I’ve had in the area! Great beef too.
I have been coming to this place for about 7 years now. I have been at least 30 times. I absolutely love their pho broth, and their patio area is a very nice spot for eating a solo bowl of pho or a chill meal with loved ones. This place is a part of my community. Definitely come! My go to order: Chicken or Pork Banh Mi & a large cup of Broth w/ Onions & Cilantro.
Best broth I’ve had in the east bay. Simple, no frills, utterly delicious bowl.
Their bahn mì and pho are exceptional. Amazing peanut sauce too. Usually the bahn mi bread hurts your mouth but theirs is softer and chewy and makes the buttery taste extra good. The tofu filling was great. Spring rolls great too! We kinda randomly landed here but were so impressed!
Super super is our favorite go to neighborhood restaurant. Highlights include the patio seating area with heaters, complimentary tea station, their generous portions, and friendly staff. Favorite dishes are hands down the pho and vermicelli bowls. Their vermicelli bowls might be my favorite in east bay, and I love the amount of nước chấm and vegetables that comes with it. The pho is always very comforting. I tend to skip ordering the spring rolls and bahn mi here as I personally prefer those elsewhere.
This is my type of place. It’s not fancy but sometimes that a clue to good food. In order a pork Banh Mi and a small cup of broth. Man that was delicious. Best part? $10 for a nice sized sandwich that fills you up. That’s so hard to find in the Bay Area now. Because the sandwich was $10 for that Banh Mi it makes ordering a side even more easy on the wallet. Next time I’ll go for the pho!
7-25: I've seen this place but never stopped by... Until today! Tried the rare steak Pho and it was really good. Broth hit the spot 👍. Steak was nice and tender. By the way, I always order the steak on the side so I can control the rareness. Great Pho 👍! I will definitely be back for more delicious Vietnamese food.
Don't get fouled by the outside apperance of this business the food is delicious so authentic the place is clean and friendly service, the price are very affordable I tried other pho places around Berkeley University and are expensive and without flavor here on the contrary I recommend you the varmicelli with shrimp, chicken and roast pork with fried roll and the pho #1 has everything tendon, brisket meatballs they also have complimentary hot tea😊
Wow. Just wow. The food was super delicious and incredibly filling. I ordered the vegetarian phở and the portion was HUGE! I think I'm a pretty big eater, but there was so much food, I couldn't finish my meal even though I wanted to keep eating! The broth was rich with umami flavor, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. This is one of the most authentic places in the area, so if you're looking for a good phở place that'll please even a Vietnamese person, this is it! This restaurant is also family-owned, which I thought was really great. The owner was really friendly, and the people taking our order were really nice as well. The price was also a good selling point-- $9.50 for a huge bowl of delicious, authentic pho is awesome. The atmosphere was great as well, because it reminded me of the restaurants in Vietnam--super casual and super friendly. Overall, this is probably my favorite Vietnamese place in the Berkeley/Oakland area, and I wish I lived closer because I would frequent this restaurant. 10/10!
Super awesome food, ran by really great people. Very accommodating and understanding of food allergies. I have Celiac and they are very accommodating! Such a gem of a spot.
Super super pho is my go-to Vietnamese spot in Berkeley/Emeryville. And so reasonably priced. I always get the original banh no with the pate. Soo good with the freshnwss of the herbs and acidity and sweetness of the pickled carrots and diakon. The beef pho with 3 kinds of beef is warm and hearty. Their broth is clear and so flavorful. Will be back again and again.

This is a very nice taste of a Thai cafe in Berkeley i ordered the grilled chicken vermicelli, shrimp spring rolls, chicken Banh mi sandwich I enjoyed the layout out where there were plenty of tables attached to the front house where you order you're food and they bring g it quickly. Everything was very tasty and I would go back again. Prices were reasonable
Great Banh Mi, great vibes. Live in the neighborhood and this place is indispensable when I don’t want to cook and need something quick that’s warm and nourishing. Vegetables are always crisp and the bread is soft and a perfect vehicle for flavor.
I really like the vibe here. I think the pho is good but I think they have a really good Bahi mi (the pork sweet and sour)! The prices a pretty decent and it always hits the spot!!
I mean the name says it all. The Pho is super super This place is down the street from my house. I am a very lucky man.

This Pho place is very unassuming. It's kinda a dive in terms of decor, but the food is good quality and decent price. Good place to go on a cold or rainy day. The place appears family owned and operated. The owner and his kids are very nice. We probably go here at least 3 out of 4 times we eat Pho.
The soup was really good most of their food, but it was cold outside no indoor dining you have to order food first and eat in outside even though it was so cold and bugs and any insect running around. Coz the owner don’t want to follow or obey the indoor dining requirements by city law.
A friend and I stopped by for lunch. We ordered chicken pho, spring rolls, chicken bahn mi and Thai iced tea. There was plenty of food, as we had leftovers to bring home. Everything was delicious. The prices were a bit higher than expected, but I would go back.
I'm often on the hunt for good pho especially when I am under the weather. My first time here and I'm already a fan of this no-frills Vietnamese restaurant. The generously large chicken pho was yummy and the shrimp spring rolls were fresh and came with some cilantro. There was also really good unlimited self-service hot tea.
This was my husband’s and my first time trying this restaurant. When you arrive, you place your order and pay at the counter first, then take a seat in the dining area to enjoy your meal. The prices are quite reasonable, and the food was pretty good overall. For me, the broth wasn’t as rich or flavorful as I had hoped, though they do give you a generous amount of it. The staff provided decent service — not outstanding, but not bad either. There are several pho restaurants along this street, and this was the first one we decided to try. Overall, it wasn’t bad at all and definitely worth a visit, but it’s not quite my top favorite just yet.
This was my first visit, and since it was a rainy day, I decided to try their pho. There’s something comforting about a warm bowl of soup on a cold, wet day. The soup had a rich, deep flavor that was enjoyable, but not remarkable. For comparison, my favorite pho spot is still Pho Vi Hoa in Palo Alto, which I feel has more balanced and complex flavors. Ordering here was straightforward. You place your order at the counter, and the staff delivers your food to the table. The service was efficient and friendly, which added to the overall experience. For starters, I ordered A2: Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls. They were fresh, light, and paired well with the accompanying peanut dipping sauce. As for the main dish, I went with the Rare Steak Pho, adding extra noodles for $2. While the broth and rare steak were satisfying, I realized the portion of noodles was already quite generous without the extra. If you’re someone with a hearty appetite, you’ll likely find the regular portion sufficient. Next time, I’ll skip the extra noodles and focus on the base dish. It’s a solid spot for a comforting bowl of pho, but I’d still rank it below my go-to pho spot in Palo Alto.
We ordered a pho chicken soup which was bug enough for two and a Vietnamese roll with shrimps. Food was tasty :) the place has complementary hot tea 🙌 The place which is designated to eat could be a bit “nicer” but its ok. A bit cold but the soup will help :)

The vegetable tofu was good, vegetables were cooked perfectly and soft. The portion size is large for pho. The ambience can be let down as the building looks a bit old.
This pho is fantastic. I get the chicken pho with extra veggies. They charge $3 for extra vegetables, which is steep but th as is the way I like it.
Their spring rolls, banh-mi sandwiches and pho are all excellent. But the setting is pretty dingy and random. I still recommend it because it's delicious.

This place was pretty good. The restaurant was clean and organized in side and out, even the bathrooms were really clean an SSD stocked. The service was friendly and we appreciated the dog friendly "outdoor" (like a patio under a roof ) eating area. The food was decent but nothing to set it apart from other pho spots. The flavor was good but they were kinda stingy with the ingredients.
Tables were not cleaned after the last customer left. Food is solid3/5 lack in flavor. I ordered the pork and shrimp vermicelli which costs around $16. The fried shrimp was okay but the pork was too thin and oily. The sauce tastes a bit too sour imo. 1 spring roll was served with the dish. I'm not sure if it's the norm in Bay area but normally 2 rolls come with the combo dish elsewhere. It's okay for casual dining.
I ordered pho number 1. The noodles were too soft and had a flavor that took away from the broth. I didn’t enjoy the flavor of the meatballs. Interestingly, they were cut into large pieces instead of being whole meatballs. The broth was fine. Overall, the meal was disappointing. Service was quick.
Ideally, I'd give this place 2.5/5. Usually, the Yelp reviews for a restaurant are always on point, and they've never let me down in the past, but this time, it was a different story. Super Super Pho has a great setup for a casual dining experience. The covered patio with string lights and heaters looked inviting, and the counter service with "find your own seat" was convenient. We arrived right after opening, so there was no wait and service was very fast. Perhaps a little too fast... Our food came out within minutes of ordering, which was concerning. Especially considering we had fried chicken wings, a dish that typically takes longer to prepare. Unfortunately, the wings were the biggest letdown. They were bland and undercooked, not crispy and flavorful like you'd expect. The pho (super pho combination) itself was a mixed bag. The portion was generous, with plenty of meat (rare steak, well-done brisket, and beef balls). However, the broth was a major disappointment. It lacked depth of flavor and really needed a lot of doctoring with the provided condiments like lemon and Sriracha. The meat itself was also unevenly cooked - some parts were dry, others undercooked. The Thai tea was decent. It was milky (not watered down, thankfully), but it had some chalky aftertaste. On the plus side, the staff was friendly when we did manage to flag them down. However, with only one other table occupied during our entire visit, the inattentiveness was surprising. We had to track someone down for water and takeout boxes. Given today's rainy weather, I was really looking forward to some comforting pho, but unfortunately, this place did not deliver.

Self-serve water and hot tea. Order food at the counter. Indoor seating is uninspiring with plastic chairs and heating lamps because it's an after built extension that isn't insulated. Had the pork vermicelli with egg roll. It was the saddest little pieces of dried pork chunks I've ever seen on a bun thit nuong.
Ive had way better chicken pho... the flavor just wasn't there. I don't recommend eating there on a cold day. The seating is an indoor outdoor atmosphere. Was not comforting at all. The employees were nice but the food was a one star I've had way way better.
Walk in have set. Put my bag on counter. Man rudely in loud voice. Order over there. That's not how you greet your customer. Sat down to eat my combination with meatballs. I lose my attention appetite. After I ate and left, five hours later got head ache. To much MSG not enough meat. They value on their kindness and cheat you. This is just my experience.
Just as the new kids would call this place “mid” Had the super super combo which wasn’t much of a combo. 18.69 for a “meh” large bowl -Noodles were over cooked. Chewy… -Broth is already dark probably from adding more flavor instant pho powder. - veggies was washed and had a pool of water on the second plate. -broth lacked the body of beef - toppings beef ball and beef and brisket slice. Very little No tendon no tripe Food was edible but wouldn’t recommend it for the price and value of the meal. Seating area smells of urine or dirty towel. Even after their “remodel” makes me feel like I’m in Asia with United States pricing for a bowl. I know we are having inflation and tariffs but 18 dollars for little to no effort for this bowl is a joke. Pay as you go system deserves no tips. Should I elaborate?

Over priced. Pork vermicelli is super disappointing and they skimp on the meat. Wanted to go to pho sho dough instead but they were closed… so disappointed!!!
