A neighborhood tavern where locals congregate, drink craft beer and eat artisanal, brick oven baked pizza and other Italian dishes. It's a cozy place where the staff is friendly, not over bearing and very knowledgeable about the food/drink menu.

Great pizza and great service. 💯 We loved this place so much that we went back twice in the same week. The salad is amazing. The drinks were boozy enough, and the pizza was unreal. We did the spicy honey pizza and I low key wanted to go back for a third time but I felt that the staff would start thinking negative things about my ability to make healthy choices. The staff was awesome by the way. You can tell that this is slowly becoming the neighborhood hangout. 👍

My wife and I ate here with our two kids. The food is outstanding and the service was excellent. Place is cozy and has a friendly atmoshphere. Honestly some of the best Italian food I've ever had. The homemade meatball calzone was incredible. Balanced flavors and very fresh.

This was a cozy and friendly place. We ordered an arugula salad with pears and nuts and it was better than I have had in NYC. Their pizza is a thin crust with quality ingredients. The prosciutto was great and there were nice slices on the pizza. I recommend this place and would revisit.

This restaurant is good when it comes to food drinks and atmosphere. The employees are great and the owners are the amazing. I recommend Battle Hill Tavern to everyone. Please visit you will not be disappointed

The food was BANGIN 🥘 we had the meatballs to start, the spinach and artichoke dip (which fyi was not spicy though it had chipotle in it(added some twang), thanks for the clarification to the bar tender 🫡) some amazing drinks- recommend the sweet tea lemonade 🍋 which had just the right amount of vodka and a half mushroom and half pepperoni pie. The flavor on the pizza was great, you can taste the garlic which we loved. Ambiance is cozy with the brick oven in the back. Will be coming back!

My local go to place for brick oven pizza. Great small tavern atmosphere but family friendly. Pizzas are classic brick oven personal pies but also can be shared. Make sure to end your meal with the cookie dessert. It's a baked to order cookie in a skillet that is baked in the brick oven and then topped off with the ice cream of your choice. This is the dessert will change your life...

I love this spot! Quality of service is amazing, the bartenders are some of the coolest that I have met in NYC. I recommend Battle Hill if you are in the neighborhood and want to enjoy a Bundesliga or Serie A game anytime after noon, come here! The staff will get your team on the screens as far as it's not a soccer match on beIN Sports (Battle Hill uses Direct TV). Soccer aside, the food and drinks are good money for value, very affordable and did I mention the food is delicious? This is also a Kid friendly zone!

The pizza was great and the salad options were really fun. We spent some time chatting with the waitress and she shared the cool history of the place. Try the cocktails btw... All 3 of the ones we tried we're really great.

Battle Hill is one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. While their pizzas are great, it's the rest of their menu that is special for me, especially their pastas and the mushroom ravioli which we order every time. Great cocktails, super friendly servers and a more unique atmosphere than some of the other restaurants in the area, Battle Hill is really a special little place.

Went here for a friend's BD dinner and had a good time. The only downside was that it was super loud. I will acknowledge, however, that it was a Sunday night and the football game was on. The waiter was nice and was super kind. I would recommend this place if you are in the area, but I would not go out of my way to come here.

Delicious food, great drinks, excellent staff. We had a great time there for a friends farewell gathering. If you like mezcal, you gotta try their mezcal Manhattan! Can't miss with dinner, drinks & friends at this great place.

Ver quaint cute neighborhood bar. The food looks good and reasonably priced. The Mezcal margarita was very good. Nice friendly staff. Went on a weeknight and there are decently filled. Will come back to try the food

Can't tell you how the food or drinks are. At around 630pm in a quiet Thursday i asked if they serve food at the bar. Sat down and was given a menu. The bartender and server were too busy talking at the end of the bar to ask if i would like something. After 10 minutes i walked out unnoticed
