This place is absolutely wonderful. The food is amazing, the ambience is perfect for couples, and there is valet parking available. The only con I could find is the fact that there is not much leg room available as you are shoulder to shoulder with other customers.
This is our home cooked meal away from home. We've been coming here for years. They give us so much love & food, anything & everything on the menu is a good choice.
Take is efficient and food is delicious. You can really have a sense of the Viejo experience when food is unfolded onto Plates at home, still hot as if waiter just delivered to my table. (giggle)
Also the pork chops were tasty. Recommend this place for all who loves Spanish food. 😋 Watch your diet during the week because it’s filling. 😉 Great portions!
Been going to Yayo for 7yrs now and the staff is AWESOME! My family comes all the way fr Sheepshead Bay, Cypress Hills and PA to eat @ ur restaurant. Your wait staff are always friendly and attentive. My parents love the extra special attention they receive. And the food is always exceptional! Keep up the good work. You guys are an asset and a token to the neighborhood
Best Spanish food in the hood, friendly service and prices are good. Nice venue for a family meal and they deliver fresh hot piping food in the Park Slope neighbourhood as well as catering for parties large and small. This is one place you can relie on for the best Dominican food. Edwin C Hemsley Me Lord
The food the staff and the atmosphere is amazing ! This is my family and I go to spot for a quick breakfast lunch or dinner we come here so much they know us by name . Javi is the best Bartender ever and I absolutely love BETTY! Make sure everyone pays this place a visit is HIGHLY RECOMMEND , let them know that their "la morena Dominicana" sent you
they went beyond my expectation, I made an order to be deliver to my boyfriend on valentines day and I ask them to make a little note saying "I love you" and they did and did well, a hand writing and a paper and some color you guys made my day and his day!!! thank you!! here a happy customer, keep going and smile :)
This place had very friendly staff and they all always checked on our table to make sure we were good or needed anything which is always a plus in book. The skirt steak was good, the red snapper I was told by my sister in law was delicious, the shrimp Mofongo was great. The mojito's were on point. Will definitely be coming back here again.
It's 5:48pm, and I just finished eating a piece of sandwich given to me by a daughter of my 67year old hospital roommate. I was eating it while watching a Taro Reading for a Capricorn (yep, I am Capricorn!) for my research about Tarot Readings, when I started noticing the taste of the sandwich I was eating mindlessly. I suddenly, changed my focus to the food I was eating. Here's what I noticed: the varieties of food inside was perfectly blended. The bread wasn't hard and wasn't soft either__it just melted perfectly well with its mixed contents! I can taste the cheese, and it gives a perfect taste to the food I was eating. It wasn't salty but it was tasty. So, when I finished, I asked my roommate's daughter the name of the sandwich and where she got it from__because it deserve a 5-stars! It's a Cuban Sandwich from El Viejo Yayo 2👍 It was the most perfectly blend sandwich I have ever tasted in my 46 years on Earth! It feels like, everything that was put inside of this sandwich was measured perfectly to get that well balanced taste. Bravo: a masterpiece sandwich! I will definitely drop by to that place to buy one for me, and my son, and my Mom once I got out of this hospital ___I now know where I can get it😍 🌹🌹 ❤️❤️ 🌹🌹 It is now May 3, 2022, and I am out the hospital. Since this place was a walking distance from it, I decided to drop by before going home ---man, really delicious Cuban Sandwich! And, when I used their bathroom, I felt like I was in the bathroom of a nice house: it was cleaned, the lighting was soft. The ambience was mellow and relaxing♥️And it has a half-a bench you can sit on that has cushion to make sure your bum-bum has a vip treatment 👍 It also have a full length mirror behind the door where you can check your handsomeness/beauty-- and most of all, their sink mirror is little-people - friendly, not like other restaurants' sink mirror where I had to jump just to see my face 🤦 #iAmAshorty👍
Good food. Purchased a pint of homemade garlic sauce that I place on all my food.
I just discovered this wonderful restaurant and had Shrimp Soupy Rice and it was super delicious. I had also the best Sangria! The service was super and this will be another one of my favorite restaurants. I will definitely be going back soon.
Loved it. My first time here. Service was excellent. I had a steak with mofongo. The steak was cooked medium rare just as I asked. Many places, in my opinion, under cook mofongo so it is fluffy with no crispyness. Here it was perfectly cooked with a crispyness and great flavor. The garlic sauce served on the side made it even better. The cafe con leche was perfection. Why do people order lattes? Cafe con leche is so much better and here it is excellent. Look forward to coming back.
I'm all about portions and Caribbean flavor. Kept it simple and it worked out: Maduros Rice and peas Stewed chicken Steamed veggies The portions are good as well. They were busy, but I will be back. Thank You all so much!
been going here for probably longer than i remember(a good 15 years atleast), food quality has been the same since! i recommend the steak with onions or their classic grilled chicken 😋😋 also their piña coladas are superb (even virgin)! they remember names and faces, even after i havent been by in a while. love u guys 🫶
I go to this restaurant often. There food is outstanding. There food is also at a resonable price. Friendly staff. It is a great for a enjoyable family outing. My family and I will definitely be returning. If I could I would give 10 stars.
I travel from another Boro to get the food here. Excellent. The waitress has been there for than 20 years. So not only is their food on point, they treat staff and customers GREAT
Excellent, (locally) inexpensive, Dominican and Caribbean food. Meant to be rich and consistent, with a wide menu. I often get mangu, rice with chicken, goat stew, oxtail stew, maduros, crab soup with tostones, baked chicken, beans, mofongo, and their unbelievably delicious flan. I live nearby and eat here a few times a week, and practically lived on their baked chicken and “rice with chicken” last fall
Old school comfort food. Sooo very good. They give you the most delicious toasted garlic bread, thin sliced!! They’ve been around for many years.
A long time resident of New York brought me here a couple weeks ago. I ordered the fried pork chops (center cut) with red beans & rice. The food came out fairly quickly and was great. The server was attentive and friendly as well. I left full and satisfied as my bill was around $20 as I had a soda to drink. I will be back again.
The food was great and so was the frozen margarita I had. Absolutely no skimping on the alcohol. I ordered the pork chop and it was seasoned nicely. I also had the seafood rice... excellent! The best was the octopus salad! The staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back again.
Never had a bad day here. Get the pork chops yellow rice and beans
The Chicken Soupy Rice is PHENOMENAL! Wow, I loved coming to this very authentic and very cool restaurant. All the flavors of my soup were ridiculous and what makes it even cooler is it it served to you in like a cauldron. If you're in the area, def stop in!
I thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was my first time checking it out, and I thankfully wasn’t disappointed. I placed the order through grubhub, and it came nicely packaged and pipping hot. I ordered the fried chicken with rice and beans, shrimp and rice, and camarifongo with shrimp. Portion size is VERY generous, and for a good price. The food was very tasty and flavorful. I’ll definitely order from here again!
They are a bit pricey but the food is so worth it. I ordered the crab mofongo & it blew my taste buds away. I'll start with it was real crab meat, that alone made it so much better. It was well prepared, great portion & sealed perfectly for the ride home. Definitely worth giving this place a try. You won't regret it.
Was there the other day, is very close to the hospital, food is good. The passion fruit was delicious.
I ordered online every week. I love their rotisserie chicken. I ordered either meal for 2 or for 3 The Rice portions it is on the small size. We Spanish people eat a lot of rice. Lol Beans is ok but the chicken never a complaint from me. . It is always perfect. I can eat it by itself. Price is always reasonable. Uber Eats delivery is always fast from there to me. Never a long wait. I recommended this place.
Great atmosphere, food and service. The ladies were amazing, the only issue was the guy that works there put our specially made cake on the stove. By the time we noticed, there was a huge cracks in it! The ladies did a great job of fixing it as best they could. All in all everyone had a great time and the cake was just a blip.
I have been there several times in the past. This time we all strayed from the standard chicken rice and beans. This Dominican Restaurant is located in the heart of Park Slope. The food have the wonderful flavors of the Islands. We had a wonderful time and the wait staff was really nice. Food was reasonably priced. Bathroom was really clean. There was no wait and they took reservations.
While I know a lot of people that LOVE this place, I wasn't that impressed with their takeout. The beef stew was OK, tender but not over the top with seasonings, the pollo con arroz was delicious but so many tiny bones and the pernil was fantastic. Delicious yellow rice and tostones, though, and I'd definitely give the in-person location a shot.
Awesome food. Mofongo is the best I've had. I moved from the area but still go there to get food once in a while. Their garlic and oil dip is unreal. Glad they don't deliver to Kensington because I'd go broke, Lol
I ordered from here and it was solid. Note that they don't put mustard on their Cuban sandwich or any sauce, so it can be a bit dry. Calamari was good.
I enjoyed my meal here. I had the yayo steak and shrimp and some tostones. My steak was just the way I wanted it and flavorful. I enjoyed my yellow rice. I wish the shrimp was grilled alittle more but it did taste good and the way they sliced it was pretty. I had the mango daiquiri which was amazing. I would definitely come back here
We stumbled upon this place Labor Day weekend. Outdoor is very nice. We had calamari and it was very good. Nice hand cut fries- burgers felt pre-made. And we weren’t asked how we wanted them, as far doness. The server was nice and friendly.
The food is good. The people is nice. Prices are fair. I like it here.
The decor of this restaurant is dated and the service was slow since only one waitress working during lunch hour. However, the food is so tasty same as the drinks. We definitely like their paella it’s the best one we had so far in Brooklyn. It’s our first time to try Mofongo we sure like it very much also.
The food here is generally good but I’m giving it 3 stars because we drove out from Long Island to support them tonight and they decided to close early and not seat us. Over an hour and 30 minutes early…. Smh
It's a good substitute to the main restaurant on 5th Ave. My order was one of the first orders when the store opened so the food was fresh, just wish the pork was seasoned a bit more.
Went with family yesterday. I ordered a chicken soup & their chicken mofongo. Mofongo was dry and bland. The sauce it came with was really good but it was so dry it still didn't moisten it enough. Soup was ok. My cousin's ordered a shrimp mofongo and that looked bangin. Cousin said it was really good
I'm giving this place 3 stars because the food is good and I love the music, buuuuut this restaurant I believe is family owned, but the many times I have gone there, well it sure begs to differ. I know everybody needs a job ok, ok, but in this business first impressions, matters! A restaurant should always have a wait staff that represents, courteous, professional, knows how to communicate and serve the customers, even anticipate what they might want or need to accompany the meal, and have a pleasant and enjoyable experience. This happpens too often, service is slow and can be even slower when crowded. I know restaurants like these believe their cliente is mainly hispanics, buuuuut learn the language (English) of the country you choose to live and work in, and to the owners, I believe you should encourage the people you hire to learn the language too and trained them to wait customers, all customers to make us feel at home, like a family owned restaurant should.
I've been here a few times and yes their food is really good but the service is lacking. Each time I've been there, the waitress comes around every 20 minute or so. The place will not even be busy and she won't come around. She's too busy gossiping with the other waitresses. My friend and i would go more often and purchase more drinks and food would the waitress come around more often. Can't imagine how much money you are losing with the waitresses you have. its a bit disheartening to know such a great place pushes away customers due to some employees.
French fries are bland taste old, and the steak and onion hero no flavor.
Came here the other day since my son was craving rice and beans. Food was pretty ok he had white rice and red beans and fried boneless chicken which were pretty flavorful, the restaurant was clean, the only downside is the customer service even though the waitress was very nice, she was working by herself counter and dinning room, but overall a good experience.
Hate to give a bad review, maybe I was there on an off night but the food was noticeably off. The bbq sauce tasted a bit soapy - which is a weird comment but a weirder taste. Apologies too el viejo but just not my best dining experience in park slope. Worth a second try but not my favorite place I’ve been around here
Food was no great and they had charges as if it was an uber order instead of a dining in order. The 2 stars are because our waitress was so nice. Will not be returning.
Service very slow🤨 Ordered to pick up. On hold 10 minutes (bad sign) Ordered Paella and 2 drinks. Told me 25 minutes. I purposely waited 35 minutes to go pick up. W Then was told 20 more minutes. Really?!
I've been there once. I was invited to go this past Saturday because they mention the food was great. Well, apparently it wasn't the case. The food was not so good. At first I ordered pork chop with mushroom. I did gave it a taste and it was salty. I wasn't able to eat it. I was with my date and she gave it taste and she too claims it was salty. Then came the rice that was included with the meal. That too was soggy and wet not to mention the red beans was watery. I declared that to the waitress and saw I was right. Nicely, she was polite and she would gracefully change my course meal. I ask for bake chicken because I don't eat greasy food. Well, again the bake chicken was greasy and dripping. I had no choice but to eat the inside of the chicken. I don't know what went wrong in the kitchen (maybe it was the cheff) but it seems as if the meal was sitting for so long on the stove. The only thing i was able to enjoy were the drinks. You decided whether you want to eat here or not.
Really sad at the service at this place. Drank sangria twice each time it was made differently. Food was flavorless and the staff were overwhelmed even though it was not that crowded. Not authentic Dominican/Puerto Rican food. The rice tastes out of a box. Overpriced.
So dissapointed. I have dined here for years. Food has always been really good. Yesterday i brought a couple of friends to eat here because i had raved about it, as we were eating a roach came out crawling alongside the wall where my friends sat, i was astounded. I immediately came to the realization that this reastaurant is no longer what it used to be. I also noticed the floor in front of restaurant looked grimy and dirty, like in need of a power wash. Enought said, sadly i have decided i no longer will go there ever again.
Unfortunately i decided to go there thinking that my last visit would be alike. I ordered a lunch special beef stew with white rice n beans extremely small portion I thought to myself ok its expected cause of inflation right .but the pieces of beef usually are big cut cubes n there where served very small 5pcs if I was lucky one big 1/4 Potatoe n 1 slice of carrot .again I'm thinking it's gonna taste great as it did last time , Lord n behold I was so deeply 😔 food didn't have no Latin taste un seasoned no cilantro in the beans whats so ever ...I can't describe the feeling of discust ,what happened maybe change of cooks or management. I will not go again .I wouldn't recommend, service was not that great either she was moody .I kinda thought that maybe she didn't want to work this day.
The food was awful, dry and burned the chef should be fired the food at the counter was good. no tip was given I don't know why the chef thought that he can give customers this kind of svc..... 3/2/26
Wow, I was expecting this to be good based on their history of multiple restos in Park Slope for well over 10 years. Maybe I was foolish for ordering seafood here, but it’s so prominent on the menu that I expected it to be good. I started with the shrimp cocktail, which consisted of tailless butterflied shrimp on top of chopped lettuce and cocktail sauce. The taste was ok, and the shrimp were sub-par but… decent, I guess, but what an unusual presentation. I felt like I was competing with the pile of lettuce to get enough cocktail sauce. I’m pretty sure shrimp cocktail gets served everywhere else in a cocktail glass for a reason. Then I had 6 baked clams. They were just gross, and I didn’t finish them. I normally LOVE baked clams and order them any time they’re on a menu, but these felt and tasted like they came frozen, then sat in a refrigerator for days before being quickly reheated. Service was ok, but the place itself was disheveled and the bar stools all had miscellaneous stuff in front of them, like water pitchers (and water covering the counter below them), POS systems and stuff like that. Not a comfortable place to sit and (not) enjoy a quick meal.
I ordered a shrimp cocktail and shrimp and the shrimp was not chilled .it was warm When I spoke to waitress about this about this she said she couldn't take if off the bill nor.if I wanted to replace it with something else I would be charged for it. I will not go there again
Apparently, if you're black or with someone who is, there is a problem. Waitress was completely inattentive to us, reached across my wife's plate to grab a water bottle on the counter and then, when a complaint was made, the guy in charge simply responded with ok. I sincerely hope they aren't a family company to the place on 5th by the Barclays. They are heaven sent.
ON THEIR WEBSITE IT SHOWS THAT THEY OPEN @ 7AM. WENT THERE IT WAS CLOSED. NO ANSWER ON THE PHONE. IF YOU'RE ON VACATION TELL YOUR WEBSITE ABOUT IT!!!!!
Nop never again my family an I just left out from there. The waitress was on top of us kept asking if we ready when we kept telling her our party isn’t here yet. But just started standing there. Like a hawk. Then we eating and the staff is all in your face. They must have rushed up like 5 times. Then that 2 check min is a joke. Trying to calculate everything then having the staff all down your neck was annoying. The food was dry you can tell it was reheated in the microwave. The mash potatoes was instant. No gravy. The ginger ale tasted like imitation Canada Dry. I wish I can give this place no star.
I took my girlfriend here for her bday dinner and there were several issues with the experience. They sat us in the back in the last booth, which isn’t the issue but it took approximately 15 minutes before any waitress came to speak to us. They passed us several times with no one acknowledging us. We ordered a shrimp cerviche for appetizer and the broth or juice it was is was warm, not hot nor cold, as if it was sitting in room temperature. I had a skirt steak and I said medium but it seemed like the waitress didn’t mark it because it was well and when I ate it, the outside was warm and the inside was on the cooler side. The waitress never came back to check on us and I even had to ask the hostess for more napkins. When I was given the bill, I looked at it and started to count my cash to pay and the original waitress was literally behind our booth lingering and waiting for me to pay. It was a terrible experience and not only would I never come back but I will tell everyone I know about my experience.
The person that answers the phone and takes the orders was very rude. They made a mistake and never put in one of the dishes we ordered so we called to request they send it. Rather than just say ok I will send you the order and you can pay for it, he was more focused on his idea that we ordered online and blamed us for making the mistake when we actually placed the order by phone. Wasn't looking for anything for free just called to let them know they left out my food.
Horrible service, their so-called Burrito isn’t truly a Mexican Burrito so it shouldn’t be called a Burrito. Their steak was undercooked to hard to chew it was like chewing on a tire, my father-in-law had the pork chops he couldn’t even bite into it on how over-cooked it was and dry I mean if you like to chew on hockey pucks then please enjoy. Also, you aren’t given a choice on how much to tip, it’s automatically added to the bill a % of 18% you aren’t given other options like 5% 10% or 15% like some other places do and always have done. This place needs to replace their cook and change their tipping policy. It was our first time there and it will most definitely be our last. Worse place ever epicnfail .
Quite disappointed in the food. As a hispanic person the food was indeed bland. To have the food arrive to us cold was not appealing and insulting especially having to wait such a long time. Not worth the amount of money to receive such service. To read the reply given to the customers that gave one star that it was an "off day" is insulting.
The gentleman tried to over charge me for chicken here. It clearly states $12 for one chicken. I came in to place an order to go and he tried to charge $16 for one chicken and tell me that was always the price. I’ve ordered from there before and that never happened! I’m officially done with them for being dishonest and trying to overcharge. Just because I don’t speak Spanish they tried to take advantage. I will be reporting them.
So disappointed. Dined here last year and food was fine. Took my Dad here for Father’s Day last Sunday, steak was bland and tasteless, shrimp was salty, crab cakes looked like a plopped mess on the plate, pork chops were nearly burnt and dry. Not one of us enjoyed our meals. I will not dine here again or recommend this place.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Coming here was the worst experience I’ve ever had in the food industry. For starters the service was down right terrible, the waitress forgot half the things we ordered because she didn’t write anything down, the food was extremely dry and the rice was disgusting and hard, our waitress didn’t refill our water once and when we did ask she aggressively did so slamming it down nearly spilling the water on me. She was nowhere in sight to attend us throughout the entire meal only when it was time to pay of course. When we mentioned how dry the food was she merely shrugged it off and didn’t do anything about it nor at the very least apologize. I will never be returning to this restaurant, it was a complete waste of money. We couldn’t even finish the food because of how poor the quality was. You do not want to come here.
Ordered a dinner for two I was very unhappy. My whole chicken was so dry even the gravy couldn’t help it. The rice was not completely cooked it seemed to be mix with old rice and beans. I’m done with this place should have gotten some advice from friends.
The Soup was very good, the service was not. I had the $30 trio and it was absolutely disgusting. My girlfriend and I couldn’t finish our food. The beer wasn’t cold enough. An top of it all they included a %20 gratuity which was super shady.... but the soup was good
Food was AMAZING but service was poor 👎 lady that took care of us had a nasty attitude the moment we walked in. Restaurant was empty when we walked in but took forever to take our order. It almost felt like they were not happy having costumers.
The chicken was way over salted in both my quesadilla and my partner's tacos. They did provide a good sized portion of guacamole on the side and a nice fresh cut salsa as well. The service was slow and at times negligent, though our table was bussed consistently and quickly. I had to go seek out a server to get our bill and pay. The margarita was strong, but light on the lime juice - so mostly tequila and simple syrup.
Got very sick with their food very bad stomach pains and bad case of diarrhea the mangu was old and bad. Guess what I really got very sick very bad we all did myself, my sister and her husband and the service was terrible. We wanted breakfast but the lady that service us said that breakfast was over . And if we wanted mango we needed to wait we waited . Still no water at the table or the utensils for eating we waited very long as we were watching other people got better service than we did everyone getting their food and us still waiting . Finally came you mangu did not taste well. If they notice we pay for food that we did not eat that is how bad it was. Sorry but be realistic. All three of us got sick.
Food was completely unseasoned and dry. We had fried and baked chicken and both were very dry. Also server added and charged me for gratuity without my consent.
Tried a few times... the 1st time was good the other times 3 to 4 times wasn't. The steak was undercooked. The chicken was undercooked. The sweet plantains were also undercooked. I am definitely not purchasing any more from this place. It's a big NO!
This was our last order for us. Pork chops were burnt and soaked in oil, the arroz con gondules were desiccated, the pasteles were made with sweet bananas and had no filling , chicken parm was burnt and was inedible, the mondogo was at least a day old. While we were on the phone ordering they forgot about us and we had to call back. Adios Yayo
I ordered the mofongo any other restaurant has rice and beans on the side not this location had to make another order for that. It was dry and not prepared well. The waitress that served us had a terrible attitude the entire night. Slammed plates down when bringing them, was very short she rolled her eyes anytime you asked for something. We were the only ones in the restaurant so she should have been happy good sized group good tip but nope. Food was bland so many other options in the area. Would not return to this location at all.
Ordered fried pork chops and a Mofongo last night and the chops were super dark and had this black oil in the pan. Super strange. Had no taste. Nevertheless, I ended up with food poisoning. It was awful. I will save yuk the details, but I WILL NEVER eat here again. Done!
I order from this place sometimes and usually they do an ok job. On 05/25/23, while eating a grilled chicken sandwich from this place, I found a staple in my sandwich. I was chewing and feeling something hard and turns out it was a staple. Very careless and scary. I’m imagining if I chewed another way and cut my mouth up. Or even swallowed it. Not happy about this. My review keeps disappearing as I believe the restaurant may be reporting it to get it taken down.
To be honest, as soon as my family and I walk in, the attendant was rude and not very professional. It took a while for us to get seated. Once we sat down it took for ever to get our food. Once food arrived at our table all the food that was ordered was very cold. My experience was not enjoyable.😠Do Not Recommend!
I’ve been dining at this restaurant since I was a kid. I even had my middle school graduation lunch here. I loved coming here with my family, the food and service were good…until I found a roach in my take home soup 🪳🤮🤢 this is a deal breaker for me. I’m heartbroken because the food is good but I can’t stomach the fact I could’ve eaten the roach. As diners, we blindly trust the kitchen is keeping up sanitary conditions to avoid roaches from getting in the food. I ordered asopao de camarones and got asopao de camarones y cucaracha 😭
Completely racist towards black people I went in to pay for my food that I already pre ordered and everyone ignored me but when uber eats came they paid attention too them I just wanted to pay for my food and the lady and the men ignored me and this isn’t the first time this happened the service is horrible especially if you don’t look or speak Spanish
Order Cuban & Pork Sandwiches to go. Both sandwiches were so dry and not good. With the Cuban sandwich, can you spare the pickles - no ham, no sauce. Pork sandwich had not sauce or condiment at all. Shameful sandwiches. Will never go again.
My family of 12 and I were thee on Saturday March 22 2025 at 6:00 pm. The waitress was not happy to see such a large crowd even thought the place was not full, many empty tables. The back was very hot, they gave us warm bread with so much garlic it was horrible. She came to our table once to take our orders, then again to clear the table. She was not friendly or welcoming to us. The food was so bad also. The white rice smelled funny and tasted old, chicken had no flavor. It was a bad and very expensive experience for us. We all decided not to return to this place again, which is a shame as they were one of our favorite spots in Park Slope Brooklyn!!!! They need to do better for the community!!
I've been to this place several times and the food and service has been good. I have no clue what happened today but it was the strangest experience ever. First we asked the waitress before we sat down if we could sit outside which she just dismissed us and replied that someone is sitting there. Just to clarify, they were not customers, they were random people sitting there because they just got up and left shortly after. Once we sat down, the waitress stood by staring at us and asked us if we were ready to order. We didn't even open the menus yet and she was already asking?? Odd. We order a round of beers and she returned with waters, the beers and a basket of butter bread. Not only did the bread look old but sliced bagels too. What in the fudge?? Once we finally ordered and the food came out, which to me was good as I expected, we found a piece of plastic in the rice. Clearly after that we were done with the food and the "experience". No, I did not bother to tell the waitress because the easiest thing to do is pay and leave and inform others to avoid this place. It is such a shame a nice Spanish restaurant has fallen to such a low since the last time I was there. No bueno
