Recensioni di Tel Chi Cantù
A charming place, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail: the beauty of the rooms strikes you as soon as you enter. The food is truly delicious, with authentic, flavorful dishes that taste of quality. What makes the difference, however, is the kindness of all the staff: professional, welcoming, and always smiling. We felt truly pampered. We'll definitely be back!
I visited Tel Chi Osteria and was truly impressed! The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail and an authentic feel that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly, smiling, and very attentive, always ready to recommend the daily specials and share their specialties. The menu offers tasty options prepared with top-quality ingredients. Each course is rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and generously portioned. I particularly appreciated the care taken in selecting local products and the ability to showcase them to their fullest. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. A true gem for those seeking traditional yet never banal cuisine. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back.
A charming place, meticulously maintained, with super friendly and professional staff. Excellent food; everything we ordered was delicious, served in distinctive and beautifully arranged dishes. A fantastic experience. For those who want to delight their palate, this is the place to go. A special mention also goes to the desserts; as a Sicilian, I can say they were perfect, just like in my homeland. I was skeptical about ordering them at first, but I couldn't have made a better choice. My compliments, truly.
The restaurant is truly beautiful, with attention to every detail. The food is excellent: from the simplest to the most elaborate dishes, you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to preparation. The wine is also excellent and pairs perfectly with the dishes. The place is very welcoming, with a warm and pleasant atmosphere, ideal for both a dinner with friends or a more intimate moment. Highly recommended! €80 for 2 people 2 first courses 2 second courses 2 still waters 1/2 bottle of house red 2 desserts 1 coffee
Excellent location, excellent helpful and knowledgeable staff, excellent food quality!!! Discovered by my sister a while ago and frequented by me, her friends and family, all the dishes are good but one of the highlights for me is the ossobuco with risotto, top, one of the best, great, keep it up!!!!
Lunch with friends, our first time here. For those who love Lombard cuisine, this place is perfect. Excellent food, excellent wine list, and we were lucky enough to be there on the first day when they prepared casseola, a dish they turned out well (reviews on casseola are very subjective). One star less for the service because at the beginning of the meal, we were greeted and served fairly quickly, but afterward, we were, shall we say... a little left to ourselves. The wait staff was sometimes inattentive, and we often had to stand up and take other orders (perhaps they were understaffed, as the place was quite crowded). That said, nothing irreparable, the bill was as expected (actually, we were expecting a little more): €45 per person for an excellent lunch and wine. I repeat: for those who love Lombard cuisine, this place is a real gem, I highly recommend it.
I went here for the first time on Saturday for my sister's birthday. The atmosphere was warm and modern, and the staff were very kind and attentive. The food was very good; it might not look like an osteria, but the experience was definitely a positive one. We'll be back, and I recommend it for good cuisine with Lombard flavors.
I absolutely loved it in every way. The food was excellent: we had two appetizers and two main courses, all highly recommended: a trio of crostoni, mondeghili, braised beef, and roasted milk. The house red wine was also excellent. A huge plus is the aesthetics: everything is designed down to the smallest detail, from the website, where booking is simple and the menu is easy to browse, to the menu in the dining room, which is truly beautiful, even visually. The staff is very professional, yet the atmosphere is pleasant and youthful. The idea of having a wine bar downstairs and a restaurant upstairs is also wonderful: a truly successful concept.
A delightful discovery! We'd heard great things about this restaurant and finally found the right opportunity to try it... and it didn't disappoint! The menu is rich and varied, with so many tempting options that it's hard to choose. We opted for two porcini mushroom risottos: simply exquisite. Next, a tender braised beef accompanied by creamy polenta, truly well-made. For dessert, after a delicious selection described by the staff, we chose a soft-centred chocolate tart and a pear and chocolate cake: both delicious. Excellent value for money. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and always available, demonstrating great attention to every need. Highly recommended! We can't wait to return.
A truly well-maintained, distinctive, and impressive venue. We dined upstairs next to the windows, and I must say the atmosphere was wonderful. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the prices were reasonable! I recommend it to everyone, whether for dinner with friends/colleagues or as a couple! A pleasant discovery.
A nice place with fair prices. My girlfriend and I ate very well, and what I liked most was the staff! Nice guys, kind, polite, and good at their jobs. Kudos also to the chef, who cooks very well 😊 We even went with our medium-sized dog, where they brought her water, so it's pet-friendly! Great for us 🥰 Only two flaws in the whole evening... the first is the bathroom door doesn't lock, so it's not the best... and the second thing, but given the crowd, it's understandable: we waited a long time for the first course after the appetizers (30 minutes), but it was really crowded, so it's understandable!
My partner and I called on a Saturday evening and were able to get a table right away. From the outside, the restaurant didn’t look very promising, but as soon as we stepped inside, the service was exceptional. This was our last evening after a vacation, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we had. The service was truly outstanding. There was always someone available to check on us and ensure we had everything we needed. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the saffron risotto, which I initially thought might be an odd combination, but it turned out to be a delightful flavor. We also tried the bruschetta, and the tiramisu was served in a generous portion. I would definitely return to this restaurant. It’s a hidden gem with few tourists and plenty of locals. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is truly on the right track to great things. The setting is beautiful, perfect for a romantic dinner or a fun-filled dinner with friends. The aperitif area is downstairs, while dinner is upstairs. I gave the food 4 stars because it focuses on traditional dishes, using excellent ingredients, but some dishes are a bit off-the-beaten-track, like the tartar, which ends up being a dessert, but the meat is delicious. The menu is very varied. The setting is 5 stars because it's beautiful, elegant, but not too formal. One major flaw of the evening (BUT I PROMISE TO RETURN TO CORRECT THE REVIEW AND RAISE MY RATING) was the service. It took a long time to order, but that's okay. However, having to ask for water five times, getting up to get bread (which wasn't provided), asking for oil, and finishing two bottles of leftovers in one plate isn't great. We can and must do better. Of course, the staff in the dining room do their best; with all those stairs, they definitely work their glutes, too. Maybe yesterday there was a staff shortage or something similar. However, despite the friendliness, the service yesterday wasn't good enough. I'll definitely be back and find this resolved. Anyway, a young restaurant that serves traditional dishes at great prices is on its way to great things. WELL DONE
Fantastic restaurant. We usually have a great time, but not so much this time. Service was a bit distracted (just this time). The risotto was superb, as always. The crostoni were good, but nothing special. The tomato one was excellent, the other two were nothing special. The ones with lard, which we had last time, were better. Otherwise, everything was fine.
Dinner with friends, a welcoming, well-maintained restaurant. Friendly staff. I didn't give it 5 stars because the wait was a bit too long, especially for the cold appetizer, which, since it didn't require cooking, in my opinion should have been served a little earlier than the 40-minute wait. Regardless, the dishes were very good and plentiful, and the prices were absolutely fair for the quality of the ingredients. We'll definitely be back!
We ordered a charcuterie and cheese platter, but the quality was a bit low. The charcuterie was cut too thickly (a teaspoon for honey was missing, but that didn't matter), and the cheeses weren't the best. The risotto with ossobuco was good, a little too much saffron, and the portion was very large. The boiled meat was too salty for my taste, and the salsa verde had too much garlic, but that's just personal preference. The polenta was good, and the venison salmi was too spicy...a little overcooked and dry; you couldn't taste the venison much, as it was overpowered by the spices. Overall, it was good value for money; we paid €40 each, including water, a Coke, and a coffee. (Constructive and personal criticism)
Chosen for its proximity to work and therefore accessible to all, we celebrated Christmas dinner there with colleagues. Fooled by the good reviews and a colleague who acted as a sponsor, we immediately realized we were being ripped off: disorganized and ineffective service, incapable of counting the exact number of guests and serving everyone. The food was good quality but overall terrible: everything was inedible to some, salty to the point of being inedible to others. Two vegetarian colleagues and one celiac were starving but still paid the same as everyone else (€35 each for appetizer, first course, and dessert). A bitter aftertaste: when splitting the bill, two bitters didn't add up (about €6 out of €35 x 30 paying guests), and the cashier chased the last of us to pay, effectively forcing her to pay for something she didn't have to. A note of color: a dog that ran and disturbed tables and diners throughout the dinner, much to the owners' disregard.
