Great service, hot food and real hospitality.
As I pulled in the drive thru, it was only one car, and I was so excited because in my mind, I knew this would go fast. I ordered a #1 and treated myself to the new "banana pudding" shake! I arrived at the window and waited to receive my order. The young lady was nice, courteous and friendly! I shared my excitement with her to try the new banana pudding shake. She confirmed that I would like it as well as her manager. They waited until I received it and took a sip from my straw.. I was all smiles! That limited time... banana pudding shake with my hot served fries, and the burger was a treat!! This was a great food experience at Whataburger this time - no long line, no long waiting, the person at the window was wearing the right attitude, no error on my order, and everything was yummy!! WAY TO GO!!
A new location I was able to try! Same great Texas What-a-burger taste. Nice, clean store. Great customer service. I love the spicey ketchup! I don't believe there has been a location I've given a bad or even mediocre review to.

Cerenity is awesome! Everytime I visit she has a smile on her face, so friendly, eager to help and respectful. There’s also an older gentleman who works the lobby who is very kind. I’ve experienced some not so good service here but those 2 have been great so far!
I’m used to some pretty long wait times at Whataburger but the service is usually pretty good. I was patiently waiting for a (5 min late) online order pickup at this location and was approached by an employee who asked for my name to which he directly asked the kitchen to hurry up my order. Staff worked really well together, atmosphere was really nice, and food quality was top of the line for Whata. It was cool to see a Whataburger value the fact they had a line of customers. Great job
Burgers were great! Lots of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions. When I drove up to the window the lady let me know it would be a few minutes wait they were cooking fresh hot fries. They were hot and delicious. We've been very fortunate to get great food without a long wait in the drive-thru. Employees are friendly and efficient.
I appreciate that I can dine-in 24-hours a day. I only wish that they offered Wi-Fi.

We always stop at this particular 'Whataburger' around noon because they have the BEST people, excellent customer service and their hamburgers are excellent, the best in Grand Prairie. Gotta go when the brothers and sisters are there. They are the best!! Love them guys.
This is my go to for a quick burger to eat when I’m on the go.
Every time we go to eat out , I always have problems with something. But I got to give it to a young man at this location ( J. Anthony ) I took three adults and three kids but this young man was amazing , he took time to listen to my wife and my sister in law and even asked about what the kids want with their kids meal. He read me back my order exactly what I ordered. I mean wow he every perlite. You couldn't have asked for a better attitude.al I lhave to is thank you. When you go by watch how perlite the people are at this location.
The manager destiny is nice she do her best to satisfy the customers and she made my experience great and I like this whataburger the employees being doing better and real good and food been tasting good.
The day we went there was a Sunday. We used the drive-through. The lady who took our order was so nice and pleasant. I had never experienced that before. Not that anyone has been mean. She was just exceptionally nice. In the world we live in now. It is very rare to see in people.

Visited this location today after shopping. It appeared the manager was working the drive-thru window and the service was excellent; order was correctly made and all the food was hot/fresh. Will definitely return to Whataburger-Cedar Hill.

Stopped by while I was in the area visiting family. The breakfast sandwich was very good and so was the service and the staff. Once our food was ready, the server brought it to our table along with condiments that we may want with our meal. What great service and hospitality.
I just want to say yesterday 4/28/25 @3:20 I had a amazing experience at my home town whataburger. I pulled up got greeted with great enthusiasm and respect. Asked for fresh food and it was ready in a jiffy with the nice young cashier guy running up to my ride to deliver my order in a flash. I’m sad I didn’t get his name but that young African American with cool dreads is my brother from anotha motha , he is a real one on hood. That young man deserves a raise to team lead with the great service and really good fresh whataburger he made my week with this experience.
Great Customer Service♡ But very very Dirty & nasty in the restaurant. There's never anyone to clean the floors and tables and drink & cups area. The associates are nice but just not clean. The floor is sticky with spilled dried drinks. Just gross. My husband made me stop trying to clean where I could. The associates are nice just nasty. They leave their half eaten food and drink from their break sitting up on top of the window ledge and against the window over on the drive through side of the restaurant where people have to pull up to at times to wait for a minute for their own order to be completed. Inside is just filthy.
So, I had the Monterey Melt meal and the Monterey Melt is my second favorite sandwich at Whataburger. I went early in the morning and everybody was really nice to me. The manager was friendly and smiling, and the person who prepared my order made sure that everything was right. I had the sandwich with Texas toast and grilled onions, and everything tasted great. I would be happy to recommend this Whataburger in Cedar Hill to my friends.
The morning staff is the best staff. I mainly go for Breakfast. Ms. Christy always provides top notch customer service. She is extremely attentive. By that I mean, she knows her repeat customers by name as well as their order. She always pleasant and efficient!!
I haven't been to this specific location in YEARS. I live half a mile away, but will drive 5 miles out of my way because this place was awful and I got tired of the rudeness. Yesterday, I decided to try again. The customer service was 2nd to none. I was blown away. The nicest young ppl must all work here. ❤️ Although it took more than 30 minutes, it was a pleasant wait. The only thing I would add is that they need to add more stalls to the bathrooms. While I waited for my order, I noticed way too many ppl lined up at the doors waiting for their turn. Many were little kids.

My food was absolutely delicious but my order was wrong. I simply asked for a number 23 with two eggs two sausage and hash browns and literally received one egg no hash brown's two pancakes two sausages & syrup. What’s crazy is the guy at the window told me he was dropping fresh hash browns an I told him cool. Y’all need to do a better job listening to customers orders so you don’t get it wrong. I ordered A good amount of food but the sausage egg and bacon biscuit that I ordered the bacon was under cooked. The customer service was very very awesome. The young man named Alexander at the drive thru windows was very nice and patient while I was ordering. That was nice of him.
The Cedar Hill Whataburger used to be warm and inviting. But someone had the bright idea to rip out all of the nice booth seating, and replace them with cold, sterile white and grey tables and chairs. If the goal was to prevent people from hanging out, it worked. I went to the drive through, since I refuse to eat in the depressing decor of the inside, and I asked the attendant to split my bill on two credit cards; she apparently didn't hear me, and even though I handed her two credit cards, she proceeded to charge the full amount on one card. So now I'm being forced to go inside the depressing interior, in order to make sure my order is rung up correctly. I hope a new manager will bring this Whataburger back to its former glory.

The service here seems rather slow. We placed our order at the drive-through and experienced a lengthy wait of twenty minutes. While our food was freshly prepared, the extended wait time was less than ideal.

I’ve been going to this Whataburger for the last year that I’ve lived here in Cedar Hill. It’s pretty normal to have a long wait at Whataburger so I’m not going to complain about that. But the long wait is usually accompanied by fresh food. The fries are ALWAYS horrible. Not a single time have I not had flavorless, soggy, gross fries. It’s really disappointing. Last year when I was pregnant and craving fries it nearly made me cry… lol I wish I could give a better review, but it is what it is…
Waited 8 10+ minutes in the drive-through after ordering and when I got my food it was cold and poorly prepared. Walked inside to use the restroom before continuing on my way and slipped on the doormat for all the disinfectant left on it after cleaning. Restroom was being doused completely in bleach based disinfectant and the crew on duty were all wearing masks (poorly worn too) in 2025. I would not go back to this location EVER, and I frequent What-a-Burger whenever I find one in the area I am working
It could have been better. Ladies in the front have a attitude, and are very condescending when people order and talk about customers after they leave. (In hearing range of the customers that are there already.) And being charged double cheese for one burger? Charged an extra $2 on cheese alone and cashier says nothing about it. I went back to order a second order and I had to wait for the manager to find the cashier which took more than 10 minutes. I’ll probably come back to the location because of where it’s located but not because of anything else.
Okay so i normally go to the desoto Whataburger but because I work around cedar hill I sometimes stop for a meal here. I’ve always had some sort of issue with my food either my fries size is wrong or my sauce is wrong or like today my chicken strip is tore up and looks disgusting. I’m giving two stars because I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because I to work in food industry but it’s still no excuse that it happends so often. The line wait is also horrible u will have better luck at the desoto whatabugure I’ve never waited 40 minutes there. I always check my food and now drinks because I’ve also gotten those wrong. I guess I now have to make sure my food is intact before leaving.

3/7/2023- I've been going to this Whataburger because it is convenient to my drive into the office. I had been noticing some slip ups with my orders from time to time and also not all of the morning service crew having a heart of service. Nonetheless, I gave grace. It is puzzling to me that when ordering coffee how at times they don't think to offer condiments or know the difference between a yellow packet vs a pink. I'm Kosher, I do not eat any meat but I do eat eggs. I ordered 2 Egg Sandwiches with No Cheese and one with Jalapenos. The line was so backed up that instead of driving through, I went in. I was not even greeted until a lady came in and clocked in, maybe a supervisor. When I received my order, I did not think to check it while inside because I'm already rushing and inconvenienced by having to go in. Driving down the road and open my bag...there are two sausage sandwiches. All I kept thinking was what if I didn't look at the sandwich and just bit into it. Omg. I won't be going back. They have to do better. I took my food back and was late going into the office and this was frustrating. They made it right but it should have been right from the beginning.

Fries!!!!!! Two years ago This location was great within the last year. I have been disappointed more than four times. I keep trying to give them the benefit of doubt. This last time was it. Early morning around 7. Drive thru was backed up as usual. I went inside two people in front of me. Worker came in late and the manger berated them loudly so everyone could hear. By this time I had already been waiting 15min. The employee that got chewed out I could hear him asking was the lady in front ever taken care of. He was not even working the counter. All I heard was yep. It took a full thirty minutes to get my food. I waited because I paid and because I wanted to see how long it took. I also wanted something good to come out of my visit. The only thing that came out good was the employee that got treated the worse. The female manager should not manage until someone trains her better. My food was hot but no apologies for my wait. It will take awhile for me to return. I've been in the cedar Hill area over twenty years. Enough is enough. We barely have good employees these days. Talk to him privately so he can restart and finish his shift on a good note.
This location is horrible. The wait time for drive thru is ridiculous, waited in line for 40 mins. The line moves very slow and orders aren’t coming out fast enough. Morning shift workers act like they don’t want to work here. Please find workers that provide great customer service and that can work on your order quick and efficiently.

Slowest fast food breakfast I've ever experienced!!! When finally getting to the window at the drive through they still tell me that I'll have to pull forward and wait. Total time was 23 mins starting with only 3 cars ahead of me. The hashbrowns looked and tasted like they were fried twice in old oil. The honey chicken Biscuit was cold in the middle. It's a little confusing to see a full crew in the kitchen and still have such poor service.
They hire teens with bad attitudes. I ordered curbside because that location is really slow. I had 2 orders. I sat in curbside for 15 mins. I called and no one answered the phone. I went to the drivethru because I am disabled. I am at the window saying hello hello no answer so I pulled up. I waited for over 45 mins just to talk to someone. Get there a young man said I wasn't outside when he came but he could add a few apple pies. I told him my time is worth more than a few apple pies. I need a refund. They said because I paid through the website they didn't know how to give me my money back. So I waited for them to do that. They said we will still make your food fresh. I waited another 20 mins at the window they gave me old chicken stips I gave it back twice. They got pissed because I looked at the food. They wanted me to move up which would have been fine but I just can't walk in if they get it wrong for the 3rd time. Their "assistant manager" made things worse by talking noise. I had not raised my voice or acted up I explained my issues. 0/10 I do NOT recommend!
Went in this location placed my order it was wrong and the lady with the long wig slick edges with the part down the middle wearing glasses began talking very ugly to me!!!! just terrible. I see why it takes so long people are just talking laughing and on their phones instead of working. I placed my order for pickup at 3:15. showed up at 3:30 because of traffic and it still wasn’t ready. when I brought it to their attention they say “oh oops sorry and laugh about it” it’s very unprofessional. the only person that i would give a 5 star to is the older black lady with very short hair she’s an absolute sweet heart.
This location is straight up trash! I ordered the only thing I get from all other locations, which is Cobb salad. The attendant was trying to get me to order a different type of chicken with the salad. I insisted on grilled. Waited an awful amount of time. That’s not even the worse part. It was served in those cheap black random to go packs. The quantity was trash, so as the quality.
Used to be a fan of this Whataburger the services at night is extremely unprofessional. They make you wait more than 20 minutes when you pull up to the drive-thru to get your food. You have employees instead of them cooking. They’re coming to the window to look at you versus bagging up the food and getting the food out to the window so that we can drive off and that they can service the next customer. A lot I do have to go on the morning shift. When it comes to night time I just drive to the location in Duncanville off of Wheatland.
This is the worst Whataburger location I’ve ever been to. My husband and I’s burger was cold! And, I’m allergic to cheese, yet they managed to put it on there regardless of our explicit direction not to. In fact, the receipt says “no cheese”. See below. This isn’t the first poor experience we’ve had at this location. They never get my order right. My meal was garbage, so I threw it away. I’m never eating there again. Id rather eat a taquito from QT!
So after waiting in the drive-through for about 30 minutes, We finally get our food and get home and we are missing two of my dressings for my grilled cranberry chicken salad I ordered. We are also missing the ranch dips for my child's chicken strips and his cookie from his kids meal. I don't understand why every time I go here I'm always missing something from my order.

This was one of the worst Whataburger experiences I’ve had. I waited over 30 minutes for my food, they gave me the wrong food order, and the store was noticeably dirty the whole time. Instead of working, the employees were just standing around and laughing with each other while customers waited. Totally unprofessional and disappointing. I won’t be coming back to this location.

I will properly not go to this Whatburg again in Cedar hill again. I would have to be desperate to go again example really needing a drink after coming from Kroger's. The young man the serve me throw the drive had a problem hearing me. Was making negative commit about him not understanding what I order. Even made it to come to drive thru window to tell the other employees at the window how he felt. I ask him also for fresh fries & he didn't do it. So I went inside & ask for fresh fries. The young lady employee didn't have any problem give me fresh fries. She even made a comment she didn't understand why he didn't give it to me at first. When I went back to eat my burger it was cold & fries was overload with salt. So I end up throwing the whole bag away. Sad from my point of view.

This is the third time I have asked for a specific request and not only was it ignored; but they actually went extreme with the opposite of my request. I simply like "light or easy" honey on my Chicken biscuit. However, on four separate occasions (3xs here and once at the DeSoto-Hampton Rd location)—the prep cook actually overloads it with honey. So much so that the meat slides off the buscuit and it is so sloppy that it is no longer edible. This is the worst example of customer service and a major inconvenience. Management needs to do better with ensuring that staff follow orders in an effort to meet customer needs.
This is the worst Whataburger in Cedar Hill Texas. My husband and I have gone here for many times years ago since 1987 When scramble eggs were good for $5.99 but today we paid $7.19 for the platter it was horrible our dog wouldn't eat them. The cook doesn't know how to cook eggs. We will never eat ther again. I should have took them back but I ate the sausage and biscuits. Never order the platter. Save your money food is too expensive to throw your money away thanks to Biden.
I asked for a biscuit sandwich. You'd think: how could you get that wrong? Maybe by not actually providing a biscuit - instead I got eggs and cheese on crusty old buns. I don't understand. If you didn't have anymore biscuits for breakfast, then why not just say that when I'm placing my order? I won't be returning here.

I walked in— I’m the only one in line— stood in line, manager in white button down made eye contact, no greet or anything... I’m still standing there 4 1/2 mins later... finally another customer walks in to order she greeted him. She’s ready to place his order. I mentioned I’m still waiting for my order to be placed. She said she thought I was taken care of. At that point I was confused. Placed order, wasn’t fresh, get to work with molded orange juice. I’m still confused. Won’t ever be going back here!!!!! This location never does an order right. You will wait extended periods of time and your food still won't be hot. And my order is never correct. There's always a load of teenagers in there and the manager clearly isn't supervising as nothing is done correctly. It was my mistake as I've had this experience before last year, but in the moment it slipped my mind to skip this location. The location in Duncanville does so much better!
I was warned by my neighbor before ordering. Wait staff was lacking. One young man operating the register, very attentive. Eight other people in the back doing something else. Two employees, one with a vest and another handling the cash drawer arguing: "Stop talking to me" Lacking direct supervision. I know I shouldn't expect too much, but seriously... no medium-sized lids for the soft drinks. An employee standing next to me at the front but unable to hear me ask for assistance and walks away. (I have a loud voice, but obviously, I am supposed to yell when we are 18 inches apart. Cedar Hill has issues, but this is basic customer service. $30 for two Jr burgers and a patty melt with fries. Not impressed.
The problem this store is having is they want to pay less as possible to hire people so they hire alot of younger people. I ended up getting sick after I ate a half cooked sausage biscuit sandwich it wasn't cooked fully I took it back to the store got my money back. I noticed the cook was at least 18 years old rather than hire a well experienced cook .Then you have a shift manager young black guy hiring his friends and friends of friends ever since then this location has done horrible and even the ratings have gone way down hill . Bottom line this store needs to clean house and re hire a whole new staff .
I've been to this location a few times. At night, only through the drive through but inside during the day.. all of the young people are nice and respectful but the older ones are rude...
I went though the drive thru and was told "the lane was closed". If you can talk to me over the speaker why is the lane closed. This place always gives me a problem. Absolutely unacceptable, no customer service at all. This place needs a reorganization, and the drive thru staff need a class in respect and customer service. I wont be back.
We ordered from the drive-thru line yesterday, and they forgot parts of our order. To make things worse, I got terrible food poisoning. Intense cramps, body aches, dehydration, and sickness. I almost had to go to urgent care. I won’t be frequenting this location anymore.
The service is awful. I went through the drive-through and ordered a number #1 and a spicy chicken meal. When we got to the windows we were given something totally different. I took the food back inside. They had me wait at least 20 minutes for another order to be made. I stood there. No manager acknowledged me until I asked for one. When I finally got my food, my #1 meal was cold and messy, and the buns were not browned on both sides. My order was a mess. The restaurant was nasty and the workers were mopping all around the customers. This was unsatisfactory. People were getting their orders coming and going and my order was still not ready. I finally asked how much longer it would be for my food. The manager said about 4 minutes. That still took another 10 minutes. I would not recommend this Whataburger to anyone. The food and the service are not good. Please, people, do not go to this location if you don't want to be made MAD!!
I'm the only person in here the kitchen is full of employees. So why the hell did I have to wait 12 minutes for a number 1 with cheese. Had I not asked no telling how much longer I would have waited. On top of that half way through my burger I realized it was cold and raw on the inside. I thought it was just the veggies that were cold until I took it apart after realizing something wasn't right, it had a lot of cold spots through out the burger. Never df again at this location. 😡
Horrible customer service Ordered a double I got it. It was cold and dry. I even told the cook to touch her and she’s like yeah it’s cold. They make me a fresh one comes back with one knee Patty take it back. They grab one of the old meat patties put on the bottom and put the fresh one on top and customer service. Is this first time my last time I’m going to this location
This is the absolute worst, slowest Whataburger on the planet. Plan on sitting in that drive-thru line for 15 minutes five of which no one acknowledges you. Then you can sit at the the window for another 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge you. Go literally anywhere else
How do I wait 15 minutes and my burger and onion rings are cold. They put a lot of mustard on my burger. I mean tons of it. The food was good before the remodel.
I ordered an Ice coffee with creamer and I ended up with a plain black ice coffee. And since my wife picked it up, she didn't realize it was wrong. She said the young man that brought it out,walked so damn slow. And they took awhile to bring the food out, even though they didn't have anyone in the drive thru or outside. This place continues to be a disappointment. They new new employees and managers.
Waited in drive through for over 30mins just to receive the wrong order. Took it back so they could remake it. They took the receipt and another 20 mins go back I asked for some help from the slow girl up front who always seems to have no clue what’s going on. A guy comes up and he tells me my order isn’t even being worked on. So almost an hour of waiting on whataburger jr. That’s it’s. This place is TRASH the management is TRASH. They all just sitting talking about nothing but getting orders wrong and not working to correct the problem.
Run by a bunch of kids with no customer service training whatsoever!! Stood in line for 10 minutes while they changed shifts, etc. Five workers were standing at counter talking among themselves, they never acknowledged us. They were talking on their cellphones. They even looked at us and never spoke. A couple standing behind us left. My husband and I waited a a few more minutes and finally left. The service here is always the same the last few times we’ve been to this location no matter what time we go. We will not be going back.
I'm an Uber eats driver been working since 5pm there wasn't anyone in line, they couldn't help me by bringing the food to the window. They told me to come inside, which is fine I did. Once I walked in they all laughed at me, one of them said if only I could say to people what I really want to say to them. Was that really necessary for anyone to speak like that to us. The manager was there and laughed as well. Very unprofessional at this place. If you are white.. Do not come to this restaurant.
waited over 30 minutes , asked about my order and said they where still working on it . I asked to speak with the manager after noticing they were already serving a large group of people that came about 10 minutes after I placed my ordered and the manager ignored me . I asked to speak with the manager again and refused to come talk to me . When he finally decide to talk to me , he just approached me with a refund . Giving people a refund after refusing to come to you does not make it right , it just lets you know they don't care about the service they are giving you. Order came incomplete... Never going back to that place . No wonder it has so many bad reviews .
Let's get into it...I always order from the APP, and I usually get my food served with a smile! October 13, 2024, I ordered from the app, and once the expected time had lapped 5 minutes, my husband went inside to get it. He came back with cold food and a story about a roach running through the restaurant. I walked back inside to exchange our food, and to my surprise, two managers were sitting at the table eating and laughing while the restaurant was in turmoil! The teenagers were struggling to cook and maintain order, and there was indeed a HUGE roach in the middle of the dining area. The young lady was kind enough to refund me, but I was highly disappointed and disgusted. Do better Cedar Hill.
