I live in Bath but work in Horseheads. Grew up on the southside of Elmira as a child/young adult. I have always been the South Main Pudgies girl at heart for well over 30+ years! I have noticed their prices are a little bit more higher than every other pudgies so going to Pudgies in Elmira is more like a "treat" now. You can literally spend a weeks worth of groceries for 1 dinner for the family now there. I always would swear the taste of Southside Pudgies, no other Pudgies could even compare! I ordered a medium Veggie pizza the other evening after a long day at work with an order of wings from the Corning Pudgies. OMG! It was the best tasting pizza that I have ever had! There was a perfect amount of cheese to keep the veggies together, not an over powering taste of garlic, veggies were tender but still had a slight crisp to them so they weren't mush. The wing sauce was a little different than what I'm use to but they were still good! Crispy, with sauce on the side, and sub ranch exactly like I ordered! The girl at the counter was super polite as well! When she opened the pizza to show me, we both were like "ahhhh, that looks & smells so0o good!" AND it was a 1/3 of the price from my hometown Pudgies!! I also see they have all of these specials at good prices as well! Now when my family or myself get that "Pudgie's craving", we will be ordering from this Pudgies! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We ordered a sheet pizza and 20 wings from the Corning store Thurday evening around 5pm. The gal who took our order was exceptional! She was extremely pleasant and helpful...I only wish I would have gotten her name so that she could be recognized for her over the top customer service!!!

I’ve been going to Pudgies since I was a kid. Pizza still as good as it was back then. Love the sauce.

I ordered and an employee or maybe manager named Matt went out of his way to call me and let me know they couldn’t do a certain thing and that is great service if i know it. the food is pudgies quality which in my opinion is great. also he called me immediately as soon as i put the order in which i appreciated.

Friendly staff, 8pm Monday, not very busy, clean place to sit down. Pizza was interesting, The crust was thin in some areas and thicken others The bottom was not cooked all the way yet the top had some burn marks on it.

If you want a sheet pizza for the kids, this is a good place to go. Just be very clear about your order and check twice! Open your box and inspect before you leave! For adults and people with tastebuds, try OIP.

Very friendly service. The subs we ordered were a bit lacking. Basically two thin slices of meat on a sub roll. I don't think I'd bother going back. It's not pricey at all but at the same time you really aren't getting much for your money.

We had a set delivery time for 5 pm. The pizza was promptly on time but tasted as if it had been either cooked in or been sitting in a dirty oven. If you know, you know kind of thing. The bottom crust was basically inedible due to the taste. The wings were excellent, though, so I do recommend those.

We stopped at Pudgie's for lunch as a family. The pizza was ok, but nothing special. We had a coupon, so the price wasn't horrible, but without the coupon it would have been pricey for what you get. Service was decent and the atmosphere was what you'd expect.

The staff is driendly and new age generation. Most of the employees are adorned with body art in a wide variety of styles to entertain the eye and curiosity while you wait for a pie or sub of sorts to come out. Not a bad place to stop for take out or delivery, but be mindful of the surrounding establishments if your little ones are with you.

We ordered the gluten free pizza based on a flyer we received in the mail. The pizza looked lackluster when I picked it up, but hey - pizza, am I right? Flavor was reminiscent of Pudgie’s sheet pizza, but the crust center was doughy and over soaked with sauce. I asked a friend who ordered from the Horseheads location and she said hers did not look like this and was delicious. Total cost for this pizza was $16.47. Pass on the gluten free pizza at this location - Anellio’s is doing it better.

Food just isn’t as good as it use to be years ago and prices are crazy.The only thing that seems to remain the same is the wings they are great .Unfortunately I think my days of supporting this business has come to a end ,best of luck .

Call to order a pizza and the girl who answered the phone was very rude and hung up on me. If your going to run a business and want to keep people coming have you employees change their attitudes. Other then that i have always loved the food at pudgies.

I have loved Pudgies pizza in Corning since I was in High school in the 1970's. I could always count on that same great tasting pizza every single time. Last night I called to order a large pizza and the first thing I heard was a loud yawn into the receiver. The pizza was delivered quickly. Driver was friendly. The pizza was not was I have always been used to. The taste is different. Not sure if it is a new recipe. Not the taste of the Pudgies I have always known. Sauce was very bitter. Needless to say no-one in the family wanted seconds. I don't like the new taste and unfortunately won't be ordering again!

Every time I order delivery at least one of my sauces ALWAYS without fail will be exploded all over the inside of the delivery bag. Lackluster service from the delivery drivers, never really friendly towards me when I order. Last time I got delivery from here, the driver walked into my workplace to deliver my food without a facemask, which is kind of unprofessional considering you’re dealing with food service and I don’t want people who aren’t wearing masks to be delivering my food - also my work place is one where you MUST have a facemask on for entry, and the delivery driver ignored that completely and walked right in without a mask while there were other people and customers in the room. Doesn’t shine the best light on your business in my opinion.

As far as I know Pudgies Pizza was famous for their sauce. Whoever made my medium Pizza to go today must have forgot about that because there was hardly any sauce on the whole pizza very disappointed this isn't the first time this has happened!

I have to say the food is good but the customer service is lacking. I called awhile ago and got put on hold for two minutes so whomever answered the phone could finish the conversation with a coworker and just now got hung up on. I called to inquire about how long it would take when you put an order in online. I was told 20 minutes and before I could say another sentence was hung up on. I think I will no longer order their food out of the Corning store again.

First, we were told that because we had a coupon that we could not have delivery. It's there coupon so I don't understand the logic. Second, the pizza is not as good as the Horsehead's Pudgies. Why? Aren't they supposed to be a franchise using the same ingredients. We'll drive the extra 10 minutes to go to the Horsehead's one since we were told we have to pick it up anyways. No customer service and no business...

I ordered medium boneless wings and breadsticks. Breadsticks were ok but I received BBQ wings. If I wanted BBQ I would have ordered them. Not a fan of BBQ. Before calling to complain I read comments and saw quite a few wrong orders. I did not call and will deal with it. Not happy.

Ate recently at the testimony and would not return. Overall the quality of the food was no better than what you would be able to get at a hot food station in a gas station. The pizza was greasy and low quality. They have other sections on their menu including fried food but again,not the best quality. Service was OK, it was a bit slow and our order was not correct. Inside there is plenty of seating are, the inside seems a bit dated and old but presented as clean.

Quality and quality control of the pizzas have gone down at the Corning Pudgies. I have eaten Pudgies Pizza for 31years now and unfortunately if you want it how it should be you need to go to the Original Pudgies in Elmira. Best pizza in the world if made correctly.

My boyfriend and I decided to order subs since there was a coupon. It was buy one get one free. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak while my boyfriend got the burger sub. The cheesesteak was super greasy and lacked flavor. It was very bland and soggy. My boyfriend asked for no mayo on his sub and it came with mayo anyways. Besides that my boyfriend liked his sub, I on the other hand didn’t really like mine too much. (Corning pudgies)

After my order was taking I sat and waited for half of my order i had called ahead and added a sub when I got there and it was done for several minutes sitting in the warmer. Before someone asked me what I was waiting on and inquired about my sub and finding out that it had been done. Not impressed.

You seriously need to teach your employees some customer service. Also by the way your employee that is working tonight advised us that if we didn't like they treated customers to contact the manager tomorrow. We won't even bother with it. It's always been this way. Even before covid

I had a horrible delivery experience I called and told them about it and because they have my phone number and name in my system they always find a way to make every experience a crappy one... So I wouldn't recommend complaining to them... Even the boss is rude and will not compensate for any mess ups or late deliveries... I always get my food late... One time I ordered a medium and got a small (burnt) and was charged for a large... Just because they had my info in their system they screwed me cuz the boss said he doesn't care. That I complain.

Not the same Pudgies...pizza had hardly any cheese and hardly any sauce. The pizza had no flavor at all. Was supposed to be a large but looked more like a medium cut into alot of small slices. Love Pudgies but I definitely won't be eating at this one again.

We ordered a pizza there about 6 month's ago. Ordered a large pizza with double pepperoni, we got very little pepperoni. the middle of the pizza was soggy and very little sauce. Tonight I ordered a large Stromboli, the crust was hard and little flavor and the end pieces hav very little filling. I'm not going back!

Ordered a sheet pizza, what happened to your crust! It was so thin had a hard time keeping it together. If I wanted a thin pizza would have got picnic pizza. Get it together down there! When new owners first took over it was horrible food then it got better and now it's getting bad again. Guess it's time to go elsewhere

Ordered a pizza tonight and not only was it stone cold, the lady I talked to about it was rude. She wanted to refund $8 of $24...I'm not in the habit of ordering pizza and sending it back! Ordered from them numerous times over the years and tell them once that I received a cold one and they are not congenial.

Ordered sheet pizza, 10 barbecue wings, 10 medium wings, Pepsi, and root beer. Order over 1 hr ahead of time. Showed up and had to wait half hour due to store giving my wings to someone else. Wings and drinks wrong-not mine. Time pizza was at home it was cold. Talked with 2 mgrs and they did nothing. They said my wife and 2 kids came in and picked up wings right away- my wife was alone and no two kids. Mgr said I was wrong and never called back. Sent 2 emails and no response. Thanks Pudgies for great service?

Interesting, that they issue coupons and lose a customer. I was led to believe, from the employee who took my call, that they'd accept the price of the coupon even if we didn't have it. When we arrived to pick it up they said they needed the coupon and the employee lied about giving any indication that it wouldn't be needed. Seeing they took the side of the employee it left me looking like the liar. Needless to say, we left the pizza and we're done with the Corning Pudgie's.

Sad that I ordered a Stromboli for mother’s day and got an empty pile of dough. There was probably 3 pieces of pepperoni and a half a slice of ham on a “large” Stromboli. I don’t think they could have stretched it any thinner with out calling it dough pie! The solution to the problem was to drive another 30 minutes in the rain to bring it back to them. No credit, no money back no good faith. I support my local businesses and understand things happen but this was beyond disappointing. So much for not having to cook and getting a break. My lesson was just because something is over priced doesn’t mean your going to get the quality.

I can't believe the sub I just got! I ordered 2 full subs, turkey for my daughter and hot ham & cheese dressed. Took 40 minutes to arrive 3 blocks from Pudgies and mine is a smaller sub (I had ordered a large). But here's the interesting part: the roll wasn't stale, it was HARD!, there was hardly any ham and cheese, the was 1, count it, 1 strand of onion, 2 thin small bits of tomato and maybe a tablespoon of lettuce! The ham was burned and there was a small hard piece of something I think was roast beef! I called to ask why my sub was so small and I get this story that when they make them on a large roll they get soggy (but I ordered a large!). I've been ordering subs there for over 40 yrs! Never had this before and not sure I'm ever going back!

I just got off the phone with the girl from Pudgie's and I can't stress enough how rude she was. She answered and took my order, told me "Hold on" and started a conversation with another employee about something they couldn't find THEN hung up on me without a word when I told her I'd call right back. Horrific customer service. Haven't ordered from here and I don't think I ever will.

We order from here a few times a month and although the food is great, the person who answers the phone is completely rude. Always has a nasty attitude, cuts you off, impatient and condecending. And I ALWAYS get her and by the time I get off the phone I'm aggitated because you don't want to argue with someone who could potentially spit in your food.

I was excited to try this place because I just moved a block away and was so disappointed with my first order. Their special was Calzone. It was mostly dough and soggy. Then I tried their cheese slice thinking they can't mess up pizza and it tasted worse than cardboard pizza. The gas station down the street Dandy's has way better pizza and a dollar cheaper. 3.50$ for a slice that should cost 1$ is ridiculous. Def. Ricos is way better and same price.

Ordered my food and the lady that took my order didn't put it into the system right and I got shorted on my wings, over charged and half my pizza wasn't made properly. They had the decency to bring me a replacement pizza for the half of the sheet but said I would have to pay an extra 17 bucks for the other 20 wings I was actually missing. Make sure the person taking the order reads your order back or it's going to be screwed up. Not happy at all.

Absolutely atrocious service .They can't even make two simple Subs correctly or an order of fries. Our entire order was backwards and made incorrect and when we called to have them correct it , we were treated like the villain. We even brought everything back to them and showed them and we're still treated like garbage. It's not our fault they can't read especially when you order online. I will be adding photos and letting everybody know to never go to such a place again. I got the incorrect order THREE times. The first time the delivery driver actually gave us another customer’s food, let us bring it in our home, and then after we ran outside as he was leaving, took it back... all during a pandemic. Second time, he gave us our order but was short 10 wings. Third time we got an order of wings with a completely different name on them. Finally asked for a refund and they told us the most they could do was give us a $5 credit... like we actually want to go back? Never. Again.

Asked for a deluxe pizza which the person on the phone didn't say they didn't have one. I was charged for every single topping. The next time I asked for a dozen wings. Again on the phone the person taking order did not say they don't have orders of a dozen wings. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend

Called to place an order at 4pm Sat. Jan 22nd 2022. It was a bitter cold day at 12 degrees. Greeted with the words"pickup or delivery"? I said "hello how are you"? The hostess said "pickup or delivery"? I replied "I'm great. Thanks! How are you?" She continued to demand I answer her question "pickup or delivery"? I was trying to be friendly and fun...i WAS in a good mood. ..They hung up the phone. I will never eat at this restaurant. People with that type of attitude over the phone, make you question what kind of attitude will end up on your pizza.

The manager needs to care more about customer service instead of money. Ordered a large pepperoni with extra cheese. 27 dollars. Got the pizza, no pepperoni. Cashier admitted it was her fault, great gal. Asked to just have pepperoni added. She brings the pizza out and informed me after the fact the manager said we had to pay for the pepperoni. So ended up paying over 30 dollars for one pizza. We are regular customers. Chose the place often. Not our first run in with a greedy manager. Last incident I had a ten dollar charge for a Styrofoam container to not have wing flavors mixed. Enough is enough. Customer service and satisfaction should be your priority NOT how much money you can squeeze out of a sale. Needless to say, other customers were also angry I had to pay for the mistake as well. I order all the time usually get large pepperoni pizza and get lite lite on pizza sauce always had good pizza but anymore lately its been awful never get lite sauce and it was burnt and cold I called down and spoke with some kind of manager and all she could say is well we could make another one but don't know when it will get to u and wait for that horrible pizza for little over an hour so what she said wasn't exceptable so now I've decided I'm done will spend my money other places.place use to be good and now just gross need to hire people that know how to make pizza and management that care about their customers!!!!!!

Ordered a party pack. Took my food 30 mins one way home. Pizza was sloppily made but the kicker was the wings. They were bloody, chewy, and not edible. Called to talk to the manager but he wasn’t there. Asked to leave him a message and was told he would call back to check out the situation. Never revived call back. Hope my 6 year old and both 4 year olds don’t get food poisoning from attempting to eat those wings. Very unprofessional.

This pudgies has gotten worse every time I order. They are overpriced, and the food itself is meh. There is little to no cheese on a sheet pizza. Half of the sheet was dry crust. Had literally 10 pepperoni on half of the sheet. Wings were dry and both the garlic Parm and medium tasted the same. They charge more and more fees and the soda is not mixed well. I used to love pudgies but these owners have ruined it.

This place keeps going down hill further and further. Very rude service, manager even worse. As much as I like to support local this is one place that will NEVER get my business again. There are too many local pizza places that have a much better pizza and service. The sheet pizza that I ordered had very little cheese on it. As the cook presented the pizza to me, I noticed there were slices that had NO cheese on them. The manager stated that, " this looks like a mighty fine pizza". Also stated that if I wanted more cheese that I would need to order and pay for extra cheese. I said I just wanted cheese to cover the pizza. I cannot emphasize how rude this "manager" was. If I could give no stars I certainly would!

I ordered a pizza online on 3/28/24. At 8:17 pm Pudgies in Corning NY sent me an email stating that my order was out for delivery. I called Pudgies at 9:03pm asking where my order was and was told "Oh, yeah, sorry we had like 6 deliveries." My order was delivered at 9:20pm...an hour late. It cost me $33.10 for something cold and burnt. They didn't even offer to take the service charge or something off the price. I won't be getting anything from Pudgies again. If I hadn't been at work, it would have only taken me 5 minutes to come pick it up. Not worth the time or money for disgusting cold and burnt pizza.

When you order over $80 worth of food and everything in the order is wrong that is an issue.. they wanted me to bring it back.. we could not do that as we took it out of town to eat it

The pizza i ordered was awful 😖 I got the buffalo chicken wing pizza and the pizza itself was undercooked and the chicken was over cooked.. the other pizza i got was the meat sauce pizza and was just ok. I've gotten these both from the horseheads location and they are 10x better. Definitely won't be going to this location again. Also the customer service was awful no greeting when we walked in.

THIS IS AT THE Corning location.. The Cold Sub $7.50 on Wednesday ya supposed to have a coupon yet the coupon says NCP needed. I ordered my 2 subs on line so I didn't have to wait for them to make them. I was going to pay in-store option. Get ready to pay and I'm charged full price!! I explained it is the cold sub offer day and I seen it on FB the add on FB says nothing about a Coupon.. 2 workers said I needed one. That I needed to print it out .. ( when I left paying full price because I was not going to make a big show of how upset I was ) I get home look up coupons on the Pudgies website. It clearly states no coupon needed.. I will not go back !! I purchased subs because I was getting a deal ..False advertisement is what they are doing. I should of known better Dandy subs are cheaper and better trying to save a few bucks . Live and learn ( I would of given zero stars 🌟 if it was an option)

Matt says they don’t guarantee your food to be delivered hot. WOW!!!! Got our food over an hour after delivering online and over 45 minutes after our message says it was out for delivery. It was received an hour and five minutes after ordering cold, wet and soggy.

I ordered online a large ham and cheese sub and a soda. My order was a couple dollars short for delivery so I had to order another item so I got Mozzarella sticks. My total was over $21 for one person then The order arrives in the ham and cheese sub had four slices of burnt ham on it couldn’t find cheese lettuce and one tomato small pc onion mushy and I live two minutes away I won’t order it from there again good luck I ordered online you should have the records
