This restaurant has excellent "fish fry Fridays". They serve breaded haddock with coleslaw, macaroni and cheese or one can have a shrimp basket meal. I highly recommend it!

Second time to eat here. Our server, Jessica, was wonderful and kept our coffee cups full. They have also lightened the inside, not as dark. The restaurant was well decorated for Christmas!

We tried R&M because we had a terrible experience trying to eat breakfast at Bob Evams down the street. As a party of 7 with 2 adults and 4 teenaged children, initially we were apprehensive to try breakfast in a "bar". However, I will say it has been one of the very best breakfast meals we have had in a long time! Everyone, including the kids, agreed that the breakfast was a hit. We had various combinations of omelets, eggs, and pancakes between the 7 of us, and they all were worthy of a second visit. The atmosphere was extremely friendly, and our waitress, as well as the music they played (classic rock and roll), made the experience even that much more enjoyable. Our drinks remained filled even though there were other tables, and our waitress even took the time to tell us about Corning and the glass museum. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast experience. I hope to visit you the next time we are passing through!

A decent amount of seating, plus bar seating at this little spot. It is a standard small-town bar/restaurant feel. They have an impressive list of burger options, plus breakfast options available. Beers very reasonable. Food was delicious. I had a bleu cheese burger. Staff was all very nice. Will definitely go back.

1st timer. Great traditional breakfast. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, large OJ … for < $12! Blew me away. Tipped $15 (more than the bill), felt like I was getting away with something. Would love to eat there every week, but live 1500 mi away.

I went for a burger but the other diners convinced me to get the pork chop. She only had one left. Came with mash potatoes and veggies. It covered in gravy. The meat was tender and it was good. Large portion, two chops. Expect an old time environment. Local place.

Lastly have to mention they have a wonderful ladies restroom equipped with top quality body mist, deo, body lotion and even a hair spray. Love this place

It was my first time at R & M dining with someone who frequents the place. Friday Shrimp Fry with Mac & Cheese, Coleslaw + Bread. The shrimp was perfectly coated and fried. The mac & cheese was tasty, and the service was very good. Will definitely visit again to try a highly recommended burger.

We're in town checking out some local fall foliage and found this gem on one of our first nights here. So far we've had the bbq burger, rigatoni & fish specials, club sandwich, chef & antipasti salads and everything has been absolutely delicious. The staff is so nice & welcoming and the portions are large enough that hubby & I share. Seems as though this place is quite popular with the locals, especially those that love Keno, each time I've been in to pick up food nearly every table has been filled with players of all ages. Looking forward to trying out some more of the daily specials while we're here.

We visit the area once a month and go to the typical chain restaurants. This time we wanted some good home cooked food, chill vibe and searched for what was near us. So glad we did! We had a table as soon as we walked in. We had just missed breakfast, were about to leave as that's what we wanted. They quickly came back and said "we don't want you to leave...here's what we got". Perfect! So accommodating, food was fantastic and the service was great!!! We will definitely be back again for breakfast and dinner..the burgers looked amazing!

Small town eatery, everyone knows each other so a stranger walking in can be a little awkward at least from other customers (who you lol) The woman who waited on us made it feel like we were guests in her home. Food was delicious, definitely a very good experience overall.

Food was amazing. Burger was good, if you get everything on it. I enjoy the veggies. I savagely ate mine before getting a photo. My husband got his plain so it wasn't as yummy as mine. However, we also got a cheese steak which was absolutely delicious!!! The kids got the sampler and enjoyed it. They are big on food like us so it wasn't their favorite but they also loved the cheese steak. I am certainly coming back for another burger and cheese steak! 1/4 Burger was definitely enough. Service was nice. Thankfully, she was very patient with us, as my kids decided to be difficult with their cheese steaks.

Delicious filling burgers. I had a quarter pounder, and it was huge. I wonder how the half pound one looks like! Prices are reasonable. I recommend you order the onion rings instead of the waffle fries. Also, I would skip the sauce; too sweet for my taste. Donna’s service was excellent.

Been here several times but they must have been busy and off their game today. They forgot the onion on mine and my partner's burger. Never checked on us to see if we needed another drink. My partner said her burger wasn't fully cooked, they dont ask how you want it done. Great place and great food, guess they were just to busy.

The burgers used to be cooked perfectly every time, but lately they have been very inconsistent. Outside of the patty is charred and crunchy while the inside is slightly undercooked. Update: Whatever issues the kitchen was suffering seem to have been resolved. Burgers have been consistently good during my last few visits.

The food was top shelf. The place is small and they had 1 waitress/bartender and 1 cook so it was a little slow. Corning has been a quick little getaway for our family for a while now, this was my first time eating at R&M but I would definitely go back.

It's a nice place for a burger 🍔. I can't say too much about it because when I was there it was my first time. So all I can say is I had good service and not bad food.

I was pleased that they allowed me to bring my chihuahua in with me in her stroller. The service was great. It was crowded with what appeared to be many locals. The food wasn't that great tho. I thought it was bland. May be just me. I wouldn't go again.

First time here so we weren't sure what to expect. Everything is dark and sticky, even the table was sticky. I used my own Clorox wipes for the table. Food was okay, but is so much competition for restaurants in this area I'm surprised they don't clean it up, lighten it up and take out some of the "stuff" cluttering everything. Won't be back.

First, the food was very good and the price was great. That being said, It's been a while since I've had such horrible service. The waitress was too busy greeting friends and family, right in the middle of taking our order, that she had to ask my mom 3 times to repeat her order. On top of that, she never asked me what sauces/ sides I wanted. Just left our table. We had ordered cole slaw with our meals but were finished eating when we FINALLY got the coleslaw, even though she just grabbed the pre-measured slaw straight from the fridge. We never got refills for drinks. Took a while to get to go containers and our check. Was shocking how we, as paying customers, were basically dismissed because we were not regulars. I'm usually a 20-25% tipper. But the rudeness we encountered was shocking. Sadly, I would have come back again for the food. But the service was awful enough to rule that out.

Raiders fans unite! Lots of memorabilia on display and the owner clearly loves his raiders. A bit of the country in the heart of the city. Great service and great food. Enjoyed my time here. It’s certainly your classic diner feel you come for the food not the environment but it feels like this restaurant has built its own little community.

If you need a quick bite to eat, you can certainly eat here. But I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to eat here.

The quality of their burgers has been going downhill over the last 2 years. I used to eat here regularly but now I feel disgusting and unsatisfied when I visit. Their food has always had a heavy and greasy feel, which I would excuse when it tasted phenominal but recently it's just greasy and unappetizing. My last 2 visits I haven't been able to finish the food, and I didn't care to take home the rest

If you go, make sure it is an hour or more before they close, otherwise the person there claims they are closed. I would skip them and go to Mooney’s. Your food coma awaits elsewhere.

I don't know how this place got best burger award..it was so bad we asked for refund. Service was rude...kids food was cold...went one and will never go back!

We were very disappointed in the service and burgers. Two tables came in after we had sat for a bit and were waited on first and had their food quickly well before we did. It appeared they were friends or regulars and more important than us.. The burgers were dry and poor flavor. The onion rings were very good. Very disappointing and we won't go back.
