I can't believe it, but I think I finally found a spicy chicken sandwich that surpasses Popeye's. The chicken is delicious, spiced, and flavorful, and the spicy sauce is really peppery and amazing! We also dined in and were impressed with how clean and spacious the restaurant was! We'll definitely be back!

I’m from Guatemala and I was so excited about this location since it’s close to home!!! It’s in a busy area but the food is super worth it! I went for lunch today! They were busy so it took a bit to order, but the food was served pretty quickly and it was super fresh! I hope they continue to build all over DFW! Didn’t get pictures of the best chicken ever because it was immediately inhaled.

The lady behind the counter was super friendly and welcoming. We got our food quickly and everything was hot and fresh. He provided exceptional Customer Service 👏🏽 we had a 2 piece grilled and a 3 piece, my partner had the very lemon lemonade 😋 and I tried the mango 😍 The food was delicious and fresh but Carlos and his awesome customer service made everything taste better. When I walked inside he was refreshing the beverages for the drive thru and stopped to helped me. He even walked my food out to the car in the hot sun after it was ready. Thank you Carlos YOU'RE AMAZING 👏🏽 and great service like that deserves recognition. Also while we were waiting, the lobby was already clean but we noticed a young lady cleaning off the tables and wiping down the condiment bottles. That extra effort matters and we Thank you too. This is our new grilled chicken spot ... although next time I want to try that bowl 😋🥰 Add them to your dining rotation.

The food is always great! The service is absolutely top-notch every time. I've tried the fried chicken, the grilled chicken, the nuggets, and a few sides and the Jamaica drink. All awesome! The nuggets some times take a little time, but they are worth the wait. Going back to the service being awesome, I was waiting for my nuggets today, and they came to the table to offer me a complimentary dessert for my wait. That doesn't happen often at other restaurants.

I got the spicy chicken sandwich mac and cheese the smoky and spicy sauce and creamy jalapeño sauce the chicken I asked for qell done and it was cooked PERFECTLY the spices are flavorful I'm pretty sure the sauce on the sando is the smoky spicy sauce with that being said the sauce was really good as well the mac and cheese did give a 3 our of 5 not bad bit not the best and the creamy jalapeño sauce was a great addition to the flavor over all I'd give thos location a 4.8 I will be back great service !

This was my first time visiting via drive thru. I was in the area and needed something to go on my way home. The service was friendly and professional, plus they were quick to get my order. The only problem was I ordered a thigh and breast GRILLED and I received a wing, no thigh and it was FRIED. I live half an hour away almost so I didn't know til I got home. I did get the breast. The meat was semi dry also. The yucca fries were ok if that's your thing.

I love the food!! But the customer service is an issue foe me. I have been there on several occasions. I always ordered the same thing the 4 piece combo they are always out of white meat or my wait is always 30-75 minutes. On my last visit I order the 4 piece gave the drive thru cashier a $50 bill. He short me $5 and give me all dark me. I love the food but don't think I will be going back. It's a damn same.

Didn't even get to order the food. The guy at the register seemed to struggle at understanding basic English and finger touching register movement. Took 5+ minutes for him to put in a 2-piece order from the person in front of me. Please hire people with basic knowledge of things to get people in and out who don't have time to stand there while they struggle.

How are you going to have a drive thru and send every single car to park and wait 15-20min for the food? I made an online order and paid prior to picking up my food. When I drove to the front window a young lady all rude said that we needed to pay additional money. I love Pollo Campero. I used to work by the one on Storey Rd. in Irving and it was my go-to. So I was excited to have one nearby. As I sit leaving this review, I've spent $18 on quick service chicken and I still haven't gotten my food over half an hour later. I'd have better turnaround time at a Chili's. There are at least a dozen employees here, to.the point that some have nothing to do, and only one girl running food. Still, it's taking this long to deliver food? I love the food. But there are some things to work out here.

My wife and I tried to eat here tonight but we ended up experiencing the worst service and never even got a piece of chicken. When I tried to order at the drive through, the employee continually talked over me and was clearly very annoyedv that I needed a few seconds to decide what I wanted. Her condescending , rapid fire time was so over the top that my wife and ended up ordering the nuggets just to finish the transaction as quickly as possible. We played our $25 and, after a few minutes, got our bag at the window. As I pulled away, my wife discovered that the items in the bag were not what we ordered. So I parked and went in to fix the situation. I waited no less than 10 minutes in line inside, holding one of there bags, before anyone even acknowledged me. And, when the manager did, and just took the bag and left. After about 5 more minutes, another manager asked what I was waiting for. I explained that I ordered nuggets at the drive through 20 minutes ago and all she could tell me was that they had to cook them. After 20 minutes and they still had to cook them??? The manager told me I could wait if I wanted to but, by that point, I just wanted a refund. I got my money back but that was a total waste of a half hour and left me perplexed that a restaurant as new as this could have such an awful staff and such little regard for there customers.

Had order a 20 piece meal through the drive thru, was told the chicken was going to take 5 minutes to cook but it took 15 minutes instead. Once the 15 minute mark came, I just went inside to ask how much longer it was going to take, at that point the cashier gave me my order which consisted of one bag. I asked if my whole meal was in there since the bag was light, I was told that all 20 pieces were in the bag but not the wings because I wasn’t charged for the wings so if I wanted them, it would be an extra 15 minute wait. The guy who handed me my meal was very rude so I just decided to head home instead. I got home and once I opened the box I realized that I only had 10 pieces instead of the 20 pieces that I had paid for. I called to let them know of this and I was told they would have it ready for me in 20 minutes. Since I live approximately 20 minutes away I agreed to pick up the order. I arrived 30 minutes later for them to tell me the chicken wasn’t even ready. I waited an additional 10 minutes for it to be ready. I didn’t asked for a refund or anything but they went ahead and gave me a 20 piece meal. It was my fault for not checking once again because I assumed that they would make sure that all my items were in the bag but once I got home I realized that I was missing chicken pieces yet again. At this point I don’t even want a refund but it is just so frustrating that such a big company doesn’t have high standards. I paid more than $70 for my whole meal to be wrong.

I ordered the two piece Meal. Man I was looking forward to trying this place too. The breast roasted undercooked. The Yucca fires cold and not crispy. Then you get a second side ( a roll or tortilla) i choose neither. The flavor was not good to me. No drink included. No options to choose what part of the dark meat you would like. They sent me a nasty tasting wing skin on chicken was so soft ot was nasty. I roast my chicken just right and have crispy skin. I won't eat here again. Cowboy chicken is where it's at and worth the price.

I am definitely not coming back. I went in there today and I was not impressed. I thought the prices seemed a little steep just for one person. I ordered the 3 piece half and half, with beans, and a roll. When I arrived there, it was around noon and I would expect the chicken to be fresh. The skin on the fried and grilled was pretty hard. The chicken was not bad but it was cold. The beans tasted like Ranch Style ones from a can and the roll was hard. When I first heard about this restaurant, I was excited but, I will not be returning. The service was good and the person who took my order was nice.

I was super excited to finally have a Pollo Campero near our home we normally have to travel to Irving to get some chicken; however I was completely disappointed. The chicken tasted old like it had been reheated or just sat there for a long time. The tortillas were cold and our Mac and cheese was also cold. It appears the chicken is marinated in lime, herbs, and seasonings, but it’s just not that good in taste. The skin on the chicken is gooey, due to the marinade they use, when instead it should be crispy. They also give no sauces with their meals such as; picco, avocado salsa, etc. We couldn’t understand that, because you get flour or corn tortillas with each meal, unless it their chicken sandwiches or salads. The chicken sandwiches might be better in taste, but we didn’t order any. El Pollo Loco, is definitely better, and this appears to be a “copycat version”, that isn’t all that good. I will say the beans are pretty tasty, but the rice is awful, the cole slaw needs a lot of work (too wet and drowned in mayo and sugar), and overall we just didn’t enjoy it. It’s a new eatery, so maybe with time, they will adjust somethings. Try it yourself, because your experience could be different from ours.

The chicken is good but 26 dollars for 12 piece of chicken only. I put a pen next to a drumstick and my finger as reference. It’s good but not worth the price. This is my first and last time visiting them.

I was super excited to finally have a Pollo Campero near our home we normally have to travel to Irving to get some chicken; however I was completely disappointed. The chicken tasted old like it had been reheated or just sat there for a long time. The tortillas were cold and our Mac and cheese was also cold. I was expecting to have fresh and flavorful food, but after this experience, I don’t know if I will be going back. I hope they take these reviews into account as these next few weeks will be crucial when gaining new clientele.

I ordered the two piece Meal. Man I was looking forward to trying this place too. The breast roasted undercooked. The Yucca fires cold and not crispy. Then you get a second side ( a roll or tortilla) i choose neither. The flavor was not good to me. No drink included. No options to choose what part of the dark meat you would like. They sent me a nasty tasting wing skin on chicken was so soft ot was nasty. I roast my chicken just right and have crispy skin. I won't eat here again. Cowboy chicken is where it's at and worth the price.
