We popped into Towne Grill for a family lunch together. We’ve tried almost all of the restaurants over here and wanted something new. The menu is clean, which I love having simple and clear cut choices. The pricing is about $20/person, typical grill pricing though. Our server, Matt, was super friendly and he let us take our time deciding on what to order. I went with the Cobb salad and hubs went with the fish and fries. That Cobb salad!!! Wow! It is tossed so the honey mustard dressing is evenly disbursed already versus most places that just top it with the dressing/let you top it and you’re left having to stir it which causes leaves to fall out onto the table. I loved the avocado and tomato on the edges, eggs stirred in with bacon and ham. It was fresh leaves too! I was thrilled with this salad. I tried my husband’s fish and fries which were deliciously cooked. The tartar sauce that comes with the fish was super good, he even ate it and he normally hate tartar sauce. He ordered ranch for his fries which was also a tasty dip. Great food and it didn’t take too long to receive our order either. Thanks yall!
My husband and I love this restaurant. While it feels like an upscale spot, we've always felt welcome bringing our young kids there and Mondays they eat free! Service is always excellent and quick. Jordan served us last night and he was so nice. We've had several items on the menu, and I don't think there's a bad choice. We especially like the deviled eggs, roasted chicken, and chicken parm. Can't go wrong here
I was so impressed with this place! The portions are MASSIVE for the price (especially the breakfast calzone; it was HUGE!), the food is so flavorful, and our waitress Valencia gave us EXCELLENT service! I can tell that each component of every dish here is well seasoned. Even the crust on my massive calzone was delicious!
Please check out this place. Their happy hour is perfect. Not a ton of people but very affordable drinks and happy hour snacks. We were pleasantly surprised. Service and bartending was 5 star for sure. Bartenders were very attentive. Never left us hanging.
Staff was super friendly and very welcoming. We were told that the wait for a table would be around 20-30 minutes, but we weren't waiting for more than 5 minutes before being seated. The food came quickly and was overwhelmingly delicious. The Texas Cheese Steak sandwich and parmesan kettle chips were well worth the $19 price tag and their cornbread appetizer comes with fresh honey butter on top. I will definitely be back in the future.
I met up with my best friend for lunch. We also ordered some nice drinks - wine for my friend and beer and one of the maple old fashioned's for me. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip for our appetizer and it was better than it has been before here, so we were pleasantly surprised and happy with this one! We were still able to order from the brunch menu and I have been wanting to try their pork chop here. So I ordered the Farmhouse Special from the brunch menu which has the pork chop, two eggs, and roasted potatoes. The pork chop also comes with their mango chutney. I took a bite of the pork chop without the chutney and it was good. The eggs were also prepared to my specification. The pork chop was delicious on its own but then I remembered about the chutney. After adding the mango chutney to a bite of pork chop - wow, I was in heaven! It went from delicious to amazing! I highly recommend this combination! I will certainly be visiting again and enjoying this wonderful combination in the future!
Very nice ambience!!!!! Great Customer Service!!!! There was no wait and we were seated promptly. Our server Amanda was professional and kind! She recommended the Blackened Fish Tacos!(Mahi Mahi) They were amazing! The Food was delicious! Everything was fresh and yummy!!!! Towne Grill is a hidden gem!!!!
This review is a week overdue but totally worth it. We went for Saturday brunch and highly recommend. Our Order - Brunch Mimosa Carafe, Pan Fried Steak, Filet Mignon, Hot Fudge Sunday Food - The food was totally delicious! We recently went to see the movie "The Menu" came out in 2022 (the year I'm reviewing this). This is definitely a location that will engage your taste buds and your palette. My girlfriend got the steak cooked rare, and it was absolutely phenomenal. I do not eat my steaks rare at all (more of a medium - medium well guy), and I was devouring her steak. The flavor profile was crazy amazing. Check the word choice, there's a reason. I got the Pan Fried Steak (chicken fried steak type of meal) and it was absolutely phenomenal too! Also demolished my food. Everything is made from scratch, weighed, and properly prepared with fresh ingredients from that morning. This place is a foodies paradise. Alcoholic Beverages - we went for brunch so of course we go for the mimosas. We got the carafe ($20) and the bartender poured an entire champagne bottle into it and we were ecstatic about it. The mimosas was doing its thing. They do not have a variety of flavors, just about 3 (pineapple, orange, grapefruit (I think)). Customer Service - ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! The reason we came here was because of Georgia. I called 3 restaurants in the local area trying to find somewhere to go to for brunch and ask about carafes and Georgia was the only person who had a sweet voice and also took the extra effort to go find out about my question. She is the absolute best. Our server/bartered was Gia. She is super sweet and was able to balance waiting tables and handling bar duties. And we even talked to the manager, Ashley, and she gave us the history of the location and how the chiefs literally do make everything from scratch. I'm big on customer service and this place definitely is top tier. Portion Size - if I had to force a complaint (because nothing was wrong), I would say I would want bigger portions. However, people always want more. This place gives you the proper portion sizes that we should intake to be healthy people. You will leave here being full and not stuffed, which is how we should eat for proper portions. I left satisfied, and not in a food coma. So again, thank you for helping us eat healthier Towne Grill. Military discount - Yes. Pricing - We spent $97.18 (included roughly 25% tip). So this place can be more pricey but the food IS TOTALLY WORTH IT! Overall - I highly recommend this location. They hit my top 3: customer service, food taste, and beverages.
I took my family of 4 to towne grille the other night for the first time, and our server Cassandra R ensured that we had the best experience. The ambience in the restaurant, the taste of the food, the service, it was all 10/10. We can’t wait to go back, and if you go, ask for Cassandra R
In a word—the best! This place never fails to impress. Manager Brittney and Tim ( new server) are exceptional, offering warm and genuine hospitality that made us feel valued. They carefully noted our preferences and delivered exactly what we wanted, which truly elevated the experience. The calm, healthy, and welcoming ambiance makes it an ideal spot for dining in. We would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an exceptional and memorable meal.
We have been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally made it in. The atmosphere was wonderful, a great place for a date night! Our server, Valencia, was so sweet and so attentive. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and had some great recommendations! The food was amazing, highly recommend the chicken fried steak just for the jalapeño gravy. Kristen the manager came by to ask how our experience was and was just as polite! We really loved how awesome the staff was. We had such a great time here we can’t wait to come back!
Towne Grill (formerly Houlihans) was a very pleasant experience. Excellent service and excellent food. What they have done with this place is amazing!! We had Deviled Eggs as an appetizer...very good! I had the Salmon w/Rice & Black Beans...delicious! My husband had the ribs...they were soooo tender and flavorful!! We had a super, great bartender!! Very pleasant dining and atmosphere. It is reasonable priced and just overall a place that makes you want to come back and enjoy again and again....which I'm sure we will be doing!! Stop by and enjoy for yourself!!...you deserve it!! ** Update -- we stopped by Towne Grill again on 7/3/21 to hopefully enjoy a good meal and drinks while enjoying our Country's celebration. Unfortunately, we were highly disappointed! We sat at the bar and had to wait a bit for service (and they were not busy only 2 other customers at the bar,one being the bartenders brother, she told us later,..of course he didn't have to wait for sefvice.). Finally got our drinks, then had to ask for refills and water. Waited again and had to ask to order an appetizer. Had to ask for another drink refill and water. Again, they were not busy at all. Finall placed our entree order...I got the Beef Ragatoni, my husband got the Turkey Burger, French Fries, and cole slaw. My entree was pretty good but my husband's definitely was not. The fries & slaw, good...the turkey burger..awful! He could not eat it. The manager came & spoke with us twice, only offered to replace it with soup! Really!! We decided to check out & mark it lesson learned. Boy did we get a lesson...our tab was $104!! Don't mind paying for a good meal & service, but we received neither!! To receive a tab of that amount & to have bad service AND bad food!?!....very limited beer selection, very limited apps & menu but no limit on the prices!! I hesitated to post this as I don't like to be that person, but this was just too bad, too much. Our money is hard to come by to pay for really bad food & really bad service. Plus we spoke to the Mngr first..twice!...will NOT be visiting Towne Grill again!!
Love this restaurant, they have the best service out here!! Our server was Adriana & she’s the best. She recommended us to try the artichokes and chicken parm and it was amazing!! Would come again:)
The food was great and Adriana was the best server. She was very polite, attentive and consistent with following up ensuring we had everything we needed. Well done Adriana!
Great atmosphere and creative food. The cocktails are really special, too. We each had a smoked maple old fashioned, and it's worth a trip here for that alone. This will be a regular spot for us. Try the corn bread and also the fried oysters. 😋 our server Taylor was really great as was our young man who brought out our food. Note however if you start drinking at the bar and then move to a table, the bartender will not transfer the bill. You have to settle with him before moving to a table. That felt odd as we dine out a lot, and normally, that's a dive bar kind of policy. Regardless of that, we will dine here again.
I recently dined at this wonderful restaurant. I had the chance to try trout for the very first time in all my life lol, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious. Even with it topped with the pecans that I thought was an odd addition. My friend enjoyed the salmon which i came here for but decided to step out of my comfort zone. The salmon was accompanied by roasted vegetables and broccoli. Each bite we took of each other's meals we had that 'ooooh this is so good' look on our faces and the groaning noises when something tastes really good. Everything was just perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The dim lighting created a cozy, intimate atmosphere. I also was impressed by their hospitality in accommodating a nicely dressed couple with just ten minutes to spare before closing. There are places that turn customers away depending on how close to close it is when they arrive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, marked by great food and attentive service. My waitress was McKenzie and she was great. At the end I asked to speak to manager (I think named) Brittney. I had to compliment the team for such a pleasant experience. She was pleased to hear great news since most of the time a is manager is requested when things are bad. Sometimes when i request a manager to compliment they don't know to respond and just say oh thanks lol but in speaking with Brittney i got a sense of genuine pride in the company she works for and in the chefs that work there. Gives me the impression that upper mgmt/ownership team is a high functioning group that believes in creating a good experience for not only the customers but their workers as well. That's Awesome in my book! I definitely recommend this place and will return with more people. They have so many items i want to try .
My wife and I love everything about this restaurant, the service was excellent, very friendly, and informative, the restaurant was very comfortable and nice atmosphere, the food was original, not the same as other restaurants, we really appreciate the delicious methods used, it was so good that we can’t wait to come back and try something different.
Great place! Fresh food, espresso, and cocktails. Cozy fireplace and lots of space to dine. Great wine selection, and a friendly team with attentive service. Thanks!
Towne Grill in Alliance is by far the best place to fine dine. My first visit was fantastic, and Christian was such a great server. Very engaging, very sweet, and didn't miss a beat, as well as every swrver thereafter. I asked for a suggestion, and the Atlantic Salmon didn't disappoint. I infact get this dish every time my husband and I go. I've been about 6 or 7 times now, and the food and service are always consistent. I love that. I will always recommend Towne Grill because they say you go to a restaurant for the food but you return because of the service and they way they make you feel. They nail it every time. Keep up the fantastic work! Thank you for being our go to spot
Towne Grill provides Alliance with a much needed romantic dinner atmosphere! Our servers Becky and Amanda were attentive and well informed on the menu. They were gracious with us since we had 2 hours to kill before our movie started and we never felt rushed. Spoke with the manager Anna who surprised us explaining we were at one of our favorite chef’s locations. So happy to have a Chef Felipe Armenta restaurant near us! We have visited Tavern off Hulen and have plans for brunch at Press Cafe and Mexican at Maria’s next. We tried the fire roasted artichokes as our starter and they paired well with the Blood Orange Mule on Happy Hour until 6p. Dinner was the filet mignon and the red fish special with lump crab. Key lime pie, cappuccino and a red eye coffee for dessert… all were AMAZING.
I rarely give 5 stars for all three categories, but I really feel I must for Towne Grill. The food was fantastic and I think the meatloaf there is the BEST I have ever had...grilled on the outside and soft on the inside with a lovely muchroom gravy. The steak salad is also very good...amazing actually. FInally, the kids mac and cheese, fried, and the deviled eggs were all delicious too. The place is very comfortable, clean and well laid out. Glad we had our anniversary dinner there!
Just tried this place out and it’s really good. The food is worth the price and sizes are better than good. I’ve gone to other places where you hardly have anything on the plate and it costs a lot but everything here is fair with prices and meal size. The place has a nice modern 70s’ish look to it which I love and our waiter and the hostess’ were very welcoming!!! From the menu we got the cornbread, artichoke dip, Rigatoni (parmesan on top), and Steak & Enchilada. Everything was delicious. Again, the sizes were worth the price!!
My husband & I stopped there tonight for dinner. What a great place! Our service was just a tad off, but very friendly & helpful. Our food was excellent! Fresh, colorful, flavorful and just the right portion. I had the Sonoma Steak Salad and my husband had the Pecan Trout, which he said was the best he had eaten!Drinks were also served with appropriate amounts of liquor. We will return and hope anyone reading this, goes also! ✌️
Our first time here. We loved the atmosphere. We were able to talk without overhearing everyone else's conversations. The outdoor patio looks like a great place to hang out too. Our servers were attentive and courteous. The menu was a good mix, and was tasteful. Definitely a place to visit again.
We have always enjoyed our experiences at Towne Grille but tonight was exceptional. Raea took great care of us and we couldn’t have asked for better. Her warm personality and welcoming demeanor really made our dinner special. The meatloaf was amazing as usual as was the wise guy pizza. Thanks to Towne Grille and especially Raea for such a great dinner! Can’t wait to get back!
Five stars across the board! Service was all great. We ended up with two servers because one went off shift, but there was nothing missed or messed up. They were both on point. Atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a bit cosy with the fireplace going. Food was incredible! We started off with some spinach and artichoke dip with chipotle salsa and sour cream served with tortilla chips. It was served very hot (temperature). It was very delicious! I tried the blackened mahi mahi. It was some of the best I've had. Love the shrimp and butter sauce it came with. Mashed potatoes were nothing special but delicious with the sauce. I also tried the margarita on the cocktail menu and I gotta say, that was an absolutely amazing drink! Everyone loved their entries. We split the key lime pie and everyone was in heaven. You can't go wrong here for the hell of it or for an event dinner.
Excellent food that has a five star sophisticated touch. Started with the deviled eggs and the delicate nuances of flavor was enjoyed emincly. The spinach and artichoke dips satisfied the entire table with its unique creamy style and kept you dipping in for more.. So much flavor to be enjoyed on the Beef and Pork Ragu Rigatoni, that bite after bite you kept tasting each unique ingredient. And don't be fooled to not try the Chicken Bits here. This is some of the juiciest chunks of tenders with a perfect crispy fried batter. The gravy is perfectly seasoned and a heavenly match with the fried chicken bits. And the fries are crisp and seasoned to perfection. Come here to dine, drink, enjoy and relax, after a long day.
This was my first time trying Towne Grill. They did not disappoint. The staff was super sweet and attentive. The food OMG, the food was delicious! We tried fried oysters, wood-smoke wings, and fish tacos. The freshly squeezed lemonade was on point also! Can't wait to eat here again. Overall experience 10/10🖤
The food was great! I ordered the Henri and my partner ordered the Texas cheesesteak. Our server, Sarah H, was so sweet and really added to the experience. Also, the fries are excellent and worth upgrading the chips.
My parents and I went to Town Grill tonight for dinner and our whole experience was exceptional! Our server Brandon was absolutely incredible. So attentitive, willing to answer questions, and a very caring and wonderful server who made our night that much better! All of our food was delicious, fresh, and so tasty. This is definitely going to be one of our regular spots to go to for dinner in the future now!
Ella was an amazing server. We arrived at 5:56pm. She got our happy hour order in and was super patient while we talked and caught up. I loved the grilled artichokes. She brought extra dishes for the leaves. We also had the wedge. She described the butter cake with amazing detail, and it lived up the the hype! We had an enchanting experience with Ella at Towne Grill!
We had an early dinner there to avoid the dinner crowd which was so nice and peaceful. Everything pictured is amazing. The portion sizes are large & I was unable to eat everything. I was able to take home what I didn't eat and will be able to have a late dinner later which is a huge bonus. The staff was very friendly & attentive throughout our entire stay. The environment is sophisticated & cozy. They do have a roomy bar area with tv's to entertain you if you're just looking for drinks and appetizers. They also have an outdoor patio, but it was over 100 degrees and too hot to sit out there during our visit. I am looking forward to coming back, especially when it cools down so I can try the patio which also includes a fireplace for those cooler temperatures. My only personal negative is the restaurant only uses GrubHub for their delivery option. I personally prefer Doordash or UberEats and hopefully they will add those options at some point so I can have their food more often as I am an introvert & don't go out a whole lot lol They offer a Brunch menu Saturday and Sunday. Please refer to their website for Brunch hours as they are different both days. They also have Happy Hour from 3pm-6pm, Monday-Friday per their website. They close at 9pm Sunday-Thursday and 10pm Friday and Saturday. Definitely go check this place out!
No, I had the wonderful pleasure of having this amazing waiter. Take care of me by the name of Nathaniel. When I say that Nathaniel was super professional when above and beyond what most waiters would do, I mean it he exuded absolute professionalism And also helped reiterate what the meaning of true hospitality was! My steak frites with roasted vegetables were amazing ,succulent,Juicy, flavorful and tender! His recommendations Of alcohol choices were amazing and helped point out the right tequila’s to fully take advantage of tequila Tuesday where all cocktails with tequila We’re half off! This place is a hidden gym that needs more people to realize it! I would 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone curious about fine dining scratch made food in the North Fort Worth alliance area
Been there at this location for the first time in a Friday dinner with hubby and friend. Did Google Resy reservation, it was pretty smooth. We reached on time, got the table as soon as we entered. Drinks were awesome, food was pretty good too. Fish tacos were in a different format than expected but delicious.. Lot of parking available! Well dressed and polite servers!
This is a great experience! I had a great margarita A side salad would you look at specialty salad. Look at the picture, it’s an art piece. The salad had these very unique cornbread croutons that had an addictive texture to them and a subtle sweetness that balanced the bitter/tart notes from the dressing and the greens. The tomatoes and cucumbers in the side salad were absolutely divine. **LISTEN** For five dollars this is no-brainer, just get the side salad so you can experience it for yourself :) I also tried the wings on the appetizer menu, they are not fried but wood grilled. First of all the text she was perfect, I will admit they come out and I should’ve let them rest for five minutes but I was captured by the beauty and had to dive in. The spice blend is classic savory and there was no heat level to the spice but these are VERY tasty. They came with fresh celery, carrots and cucumbers along with this unbelievable “Mexican ranch sauce” I can’t wait to come back with my wife and explore the menu !!
Really enjoyed afternoon Lunch here.Staff was friendly and food was on point. I had the trout it was delicious and the wife had an entree Salad she couldn't finish. The appetizer cast iron cornbread stole the show. There was an error at billing an the manager explained to us in detail their mistake. It was all handled professionally, they even gave us a gift card afterwards. This was our 2nd visit and we look forward to coming back. Great food and staff comfortable seating and plesant dining experience for us
This was actually my second time dining in at Towne Grill, my best friend introduced me to this place because they have the most delicious fried oysters I've ever had. So of course we came for the oysters and stayed for the delicious entrees as well. Had the fish and chips which comes with the best coleslaw you can find!
We just had dinner here and our waiter Gage was fabulous. There were a few hiccups and the manager Candace was beyond gracious on taking care of us. We will be back for sure.
Sat at Hightower table in bar area. Busy, but staff friendly and efficient. Food was great. Fireplace adds ambience. Outdoor fireplace great!
This has become my go-to restaurant for new American food and delicious cocktails. The grilled meatloaf is my favorite. I want to try one of everything on the menu eventually. The staff is really great, especially Marci the bartender!
First time in and had a wonderful experience last night here. Food was really awesome. Had the Atlantic Dip and the Chicken parmesan, both were delicious, (Sorry no pictures just empty plates) and the manager Stephanie came over to check in and was really nice chatting with her making the place feel welcoming. Great food, great service, and great leadership.
Took the wife to Towne Grill first time here. Food atmosphere absolutely smashing. I had the meat loaf wife had chicken Parmesan. Both dishes rocked Will for sure go back. Price was higher than most places in the area but I expected to pay more for the quality of food we ate. I’d give 10 stars for the food if it was possible
I brought my daughter here today for brunch! Set up a reservation a few hours earlier and we were sat immediately. The restaurant has a casual, welcoming atmosphere with additional covered outdoor seating as well. We started off with fried oysters and for the entrees, I had the steak/eggs while my daughter had waffles and berries with eggs. We shared a slice of key lime pie for dessert and both of us said that these were the best fried oysters, scrambled eggs and key lime pie that we had ever tasted. On top of that, Chef Graham Elliot was visiting today! We will definitely be back for these high-end dishes with affordable prices. Thank you Towne Grill!
I forgot how much I love this place!!! We wanted some warm, cozy, comfort food and everything was perfect per usual. Our server Isa was wonderful and took fantastic care of us. I was raised on Middle Eastern and European cuisine and would always hear negative things about meatloaf from my American friends who were raised on it…well, this meatloaf was out of this world. The char and crust from the grill made it perfect and the portion was so generous we have leftovers waiting to be devoured. Hats off to the chef and attentive staff, we’ll be back soon.
Delicious food and drinks, and unusually attentive wait staff team. The filet mignon was high quality and cooked to perfection. Our server made great recommendations and light-hearted candor. Even the occasional staff person who stopped by to deliver food or bus our dishes went above and beyond. Highly recommend.
Just stopped by Towne Grill and wow, it did not disappoint! The service was incredibly fast and attentive, and the food was beyond delicious. Easily the best you’ll find within at least a 20-mile radius! We had the mozzarella sticks, pepperoni pizza, and fish & chips + blueberry bread pudding. Each dish was a solid 10/10. Huge shoutout to the manager, Kristen, and our waiter, Jamie, for making our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!
Had lunch at Towne Grill and the food and service was amazing! We had the Smoked Salmon dip appetizer, Fired Wings appetizer, Smash Burger and Salmon and crab over mashed potatoes. It was amazing!!! The drinks were great too. Espresso Martini was fantastic as was the pineapple margarita. Vinny was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing. Nice, informative and very attentive. We eat at a lot of great restaurants and this restaurant was up there with the best. We were a little apprehensive to go in as the parking lot was empty but decided to give it a try anyway. So happy we did!
My husband and I usually go to Dinner at Towne Grill but decided to stay their Bunch this time and delighted we did!! The food was fantastic I ordered the Breakfast Calzone and Omgg it’s Hugh and Delicious and added a Mimosa that hit the spot. Reasonably priced and such a great atmosphere. Our waitress was Madeline who was very on point and served us with a smile and great vibe she attended to us and made sure our service was top notch so don’t forget to ask for her. We will be returning and trying the full menu..Madeline helped started our morning to a great start!! 10 Stars!! This Establishment does not disappoint..
Ate here recently. Nice quiet restaurant. I mentioned to the server I like spicy foods so when I ordered the Henry sandwich I was recommended a Serrano pepper included which was a great suggestion in my opinion. I’ll be sure to return there’s a few other dishes I’m looking forward to trying.
Took my wife to Towne Grill yesterday for a lunch date. I have to say, we were both very impressed and very statisfied with all aspects of this fine establishment. Everything was spot on. From the seating, the atmosphere, the service/server, the cleanliness, even the restrooms were extremely clean and smelled very good. I feel like most restaurants fall short here in regard to bathroom cleanliness and sanitation. We had to pleasure of being served by Marci (I hoped I spelt their name correctly). Marci was extremely knowledgeable in both the food menu, cocktails, and wine. My wife had the Japanese Salad with Sesame glazed Salmon and I had the Pecan Trout (wood fire grilled) with sautéed spinach. The fish was cooked to perfection and did not taste nor smelled fishy. Which I learned that they get their fish from whats seems to be a good source. No grocery store fish. On the Japanese Salad, they were served with buckwheat pasta. Buckwheat on their own have a very distinctive taste, a definite acquired taste. There buckwheat pasta did not have that buckwheat flavor. They were tender and tasted great. Lastly, my sautéed spinach was not over cooked. The spinach leaves were still bright and green, but soft. Not wilted, lifeless, and cooked down to where it looks like spinach from a can. They were topped with just a little bit of fresh parmesean cheese, which paired very very well. I gave Towne Grill 5 out of 5 stars and I plan to visit them again. I was truly impressed. Thank you Towne Grill.
We were headed to BJs and saw the sign. We thought why not. From the moment we walked in it was great. The hostess welcomed us and sat us within 3 minutes. She offered us a few options of seating which was nice. Our server was a young man with a great attitude and pleasant smile. The food was really good. Kind if a mix of elegance and bar food. I really enjoyed the steak and the wings appetizer. Maybe a little pricey for me but not for what we got in atmospher and amazingly prepare food. I highly recommend at least one date night at Towne Grill.
Pretty good! Great atmosphere and service, with consistent American food. I’ve gotten burgers from here twice, and they were both good. Fries are nice. The mozzarella sticks were great. I would not recommend the queso - it had a distinct “movie theater popcorn butter” taste that was off-putting.
My boyfriend and I came here for the first time tonight and we very much enjoyed ourselves. They were busy and we sat in a high table at the bar. Even though they were busy the food came out quickly. He ordered the Mac n cheese and I the fish & chips. We got the spinach artichoke dip for the appetizer. All of the food was delicious! The atmosphere and ambience is exactly what we are wanting. I’ve reached the point in my 30s where I want calm, relaxing, and enjoyable without it being overwhelming with noise. But to top the evening off the best part was the service. Our server Jayden was the perfect amount of friendly and humorous combo. He checked on us the perfect amount of times. Drinks were never empty, he checked on the quality of food along with our needs! We will be back in the future for both more dates and family dinners.
The food is out of this world, the service is excellent (shout out to our server Joy), and the Restaurant is beautiful, down to the small details. We started with their wood-grilled chimichurri wings. Top five best wings I’ve ever had. These are for sure the best wings I’ve ever had at a place that doesn’t specialize in wings. And they bring you some of their homemade ranch to accompany it. You can taste the char from the wood grill, and the bright flavors of the chimichurri complement the smoky flavor so well We had the grilled meatloaf, which is served on a bed of mashed potatoes and topped with their shiitake mushroom demi-glaze sauce. It can only be described as beautiful. 10/10 We also ordered the fish and chips. This is served with French fries and a Serrano Coleslaw, which is not spicy at all but is incredibly delicious. The fish has a light, crispy batter and tastes extremely tender, juicy, and fresh. 10/10 We got their meatball Crispy pizza. This pizza has a really unique texture and fantastic flavor. Highly recommend. 8/10 We all shared a blueberry bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. Do not skip out on this. Make sure you save room for it. One of my favorite desserts I’ve had. 10/10
Amore was our server, and she was amazing (very attentive and helpful). I got a grilled chicken cobb salad, and my mom got the Baja fish tacos. My mom also said her drink was good. The atmosphere was wonderful, and I love the fact that two different managers came to check on us. It's a very nice and laid-back establishment.
Found this place on a whim and decided to try it out. Made the reservation around 4 pm on a Saturday and was able to get 5:30 pm for the same day. When we arrived we were seated immediately. Staff was all very friendly and the manager came by at the end of our meal to check on us. Food was delicious. I had the Sonoma Steak Salad and it was amazing. My husband had the meatloaf and loved it. My dad was with us and said the fish in the fish n chips had a bit too much breading for his liking, but he still enjoyed the taste overall. Service was quick, we were in and out in an hour with a table of five.
Jordan was an excellent server! He paid attention and cared about making sure we were happy and content! We had a special similar to beef stroganoff and it was pretty good. :) The ambience is wonderful! Come check it out for yourself! They also have daily specials (including drink specials).
The food here was great! I love the fish and the stuffed eggs. I've tasted other items as well and I have to say that it was really tasty.
Went here for brunch on a Sunday. It wasn’t overly crowded and they were able to accommodate my fairly large party of 12! The service was fantastic and the food was delicious! They are a little pricy…for myself and my daughter it was about $55 before the tip but I think it is well worth it! We will definitely be going back here soon!
Really intimate restaurant where you feel cozy. It's neat to see the kitchen. Really clean inside here with a great mood with the lighting and music. Some dishes are hits and some are a bit of a miss. If you're a bit of a foodie you'll catch onto the misses because the dishes will be a bit overwhelmed by 1 ingredient that doesn't let the rest of the dish speak for itself. But they make a fanatic burger and know how to grill it right. Give them a chance to wow you.
Restaurant was stylish and clean. Staff was very friendly. Grilled Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes and Zuni Salad was what we tried out. Both had great flavor and came as expected. Quality ingredients and came out in a good amount of time and proper temperature. Parking was plenty and there are different seating types available. We would have liked to see more dishes offered on their menu we were provided.
We were here for celebrating my husband’s birthday today. He loves their steak salad but unfortunately they were out of the steak today. What a bummer. The food we order was not bad at all but I personally won’t order again. My favorite is the lava cake. The service is pretty good. All the employees are really efficient and friendly. The restaurant is very clean.
My family and I loved everything about this restaurant as far as outside parking, indoor/outdoor seating, and our waitress was phenomenal! The food however is very bland. I’m not sure if it’s what we ordered, or actually how the cooks prepare the food. My fish had no taste, and they overcooked the chicken tenders, for another guest in our party. I will say, just off of cleanliness, customer service, and our overall experience, I recommend eating here. I’m sure not all the food is tasteless, and it could’ve just been the day we went. I also noticed while eating here, a lot of people go for the drinks. So I assume, they serve pretty good alcoholic beverages. All in all, definitely try this restaurant, because I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
I have been to this place three times and it is hit or miss. WARNING! Do not order the queso con carne! I will explain further in my review. The first time I came here with my boyfriend the service was great and the food was good. We ordered queso con carne for the appetizer and they added very little meat (ground beef)to it, we had to ask for extra meat. I must mention that the first time I was here I ordered the lava cake for dessert but noticed the last two times that I came they swapped it out for the brownie sundae, seems like they don't serve it anymore. I was impressed the first time so I decided to bring my mom here for her birthday, my siblings and one of our friends joined us. We had a waiter who was new, I hope I'm not getting his name wrong but I believe it was Tristan. A young guy with brown hair. He was doing the best he could but he was so sweet and did a great job. Our main issue the whole night was the people in the kitchen messing up our orders. Some of the servers helped him bring out our food but brought our appetizers out along with the entree. Despite us telling them we wanted our appetizers first they ignored us and continued to put everything on the table. So unfortunately a couple of our guests food were cold by the time they got to it after eating their appetizers and had to pack the rest to take home to finish eating. I decided to just go ahead and eat my entree along with the appetizer. I ordered the same thing since coming here which is the fire roasted chicken which has always been my favorite. My only issue is that they don't add enough mashed potatoes to go with it, my mom ordered the salmon and she said the same thing about her dish. Hers came with mashed potatoes as well but it wasn't enough either. Since our waiter was in training that day someone else was supposed to be working alongside him the whole night but he didn't so the poor kid kept forgetting to bring certain items which we did not hold against him since he was new. The manager also came and spoke to us and apologized for everything, he was a tall guy with glasses. It was disappointing for my mom's birthday but we made the best of it and didn't cause stir, we know mistakes happen. The third time I came back with my mom over the weekend and she said it would be her last time coming back. She ordered a salad and had to get a second one because she said the first one tasted like fish, she told our waiter who brought out a second one and this time she said they added very little onion only two tomatoes. She was disappointed on how someone can mess up a salad. The deviled eggs are good! Here's where I continue the review for queso con carne, although it is good she wanted to try it I warned her they might not add much meat from my first experience and sure enough I was right. We asked for another side of meat and to my surprise it was an extra $5 added to it on the bill. We didn't get charged the first time I came here but this time I see it on the bill and asked the waiter why and he said it's an extra five if you ask for more meat to go in the queso, something he didn't bother telling me when I asked for it. I told him it would be nice if they added bit of info to the menu because how are we supposed to know? He didn't say anything. I definitely came to the conclusion that they purposely add very little meat to the queso knowing that people will ask for extra and the waiters don't bother telling you that they will charge you an extra $5 for it until you get the bill, very deceitful. Again it's hit or miss but definitely won't be coming back anytime soon which is disappointing because it's a nice place but there definitely needs to be some improvement.
Food was fine. Service was great! Our server was Raea (I believe that is how you spell it.). At one point I needed the restroom and overheard the manager (Stephanie) berating our server for slow drink service. However, our server had already let us know the bar was backed up and there would be a short delay. We frequently visit TG, but with this new manager and how she is handling situations and mistreating her employees we have decided to take a break from TG.
My only complaint was on the female host with black hair- my wife and I(we are Hispanics)entered and a family(White family)behind us. The Host walked right by , or failed to acknowledge us but instead asked the family how many. We were felt extremely disrespected or discriminated. We held our composure so as to not ruin our night with some friends...22Feb, about 5pm. I hope this is addressed and noone else is treated this way. Server was on point.
We were in the area and gave this place a try for a happy hour lunch. The food was ok, nothing really memorable. The food was heavily sauces and somehow lacked flavor. The chicken sandwich was so covered in mayo that it didn't really taste like anything else, I thought the slaw would be a vinegar base to break it down a bit, but it turned out to be mayo too. The wife ordered a burger and it was very dry. Overall a pretty underwhelming experience, but we will give it another try someday because I don't basing my reviews on one trip. Good atmosphere and decent service, seems like a good place to have drinks if nothing else.
My sister and I went for a dinner as we do every month. The location was nice. Our waiter was nice but she spent alot of time between several tables. We had to ask for things twice. The drinks took a while to come out as the food. No complaints on the food as far as quality and taste. Just a lengthy wait. We also had fries and Mac and cheese ( not pictured). Crème Brulé is one of my absolute favorite desserts so I was looking forward to trying it here. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. It tasted outdated, was room temperature, the filling tasted gritty and overall just disgusting. My sister did enjoy the butter cake. I ended up leaving the dessert on the table. The drinks were okay. Given that we drove so far and didn’t overall love the experience. We won’t be back.
My first visit to Towne Grill. Let me say, the bartenders were very nice and friendly. Had a great maple old fashioned. Dinner was okay. Our server, Joy was absolutely wonderful, fun and friendly. In my reservation I requested a table, but we got a booth. It was fine but not what I requested 2 days prior. The woman greeting people at the door, maybe the hostess? Was not very welcoming. The food was pretty good. Head chips and queso, grilled artichokes which was something different and the deviled eggs not too bad. Ribeye steak was a very thin cut and not super flavorful. Fish and chips were sub par but loads of fries with it. My wife enjoyed the chocolate lava cake and ice cream, I would probably not order the banana cream pie again. Unfortunately the worst part of dinner were the nats flying around our table all evening and probably because of that, I don't think I will return.
Went here for the first time today. To say I wasn’t impressed is understating the true takeaway. In most restaurants it hard to mess up a simple Chicken Cobb salad, unless you are trying to “focus on the presentation”, as the manager explained. What they brought to the table was a thin fried chicken breast flat on a plate with a an average size “side salad”. I literally thought this is not what I ordered when the waiter placed it in front of me. I said I ordered the Cobb salad and he said this is it. When I go out for dinner I want my meal prepared for me. As I cut up the chicken and tossed it myself I was thinking, wow guess I got a part-time job in a kitchen today. If I wanted to prepare my own dinner I would have kept the $18 and stayed home. Let me not forget, it took two waiters and 12 minutes to get salad dressing and I won’t even address how long it took to get a drink refill. Anyone considering this place might want to just go on over to ANY of the other establishments in the area. #disappointed.
On Valentine’s Day, I visited a restaurant that was undoubtedly busy. However, my experience was marred by a manager who rushed me to leave without any alternative options. He claimed that another reservation was arriving and that we had to depart immediately. Despite the fact that there were still empty tables around us, in other words, he didn't offer us to continue our date at the bar or any other available spot. I understand that it can be challenging to manage a busy restaurant, but we had finished our meal and were still enjoying our time together. We decided to order a few more drinks and extend our date for a few more minutes, as it wasn’t as if we were simply chatting without making any purchases. This disappointment was compounded by the fact that the food wasn’t even good this time. My question is, what is the point of having a time restriction at a restaurant, especially when you are paying money? It seems absurd to expect customers to leave without any opportunity to continue their meal or enjoy their experience. We have visited several other restaurants on different occasions, and in all of them, if a reservation was coming in, they offered us alternative options to stay in their establishment. My question to the manager is, if your reservation doesn’t show up, are you willing to lose two customers or would you rather keep one who is already spending money in your restaurant? I strongly advise against wasting your money or time at this location. The only positive aspect of our experience was the server. He was exceptional, attentive, and friendly with us.
I don’t write reviews often but we were having such a great experience at this new to us restaurant that I thought, I should really leave a great review for them, until I saw the bill. They charged us for a child meal that was sent back, $12 for each child meal when the menu listed $10, and $3 for the child drink that was listed on the menu as included. Even with everything else being a pretty good experience, I don’t know if we’ll be back. You shouldn’t have to audit your receipt nor should you have to worry about what your kid will be eating when the pepperoni flatbread has a weird flavor and extra sauce, neither of which were listed on the kid’s menu. Not to mention that adding a side salad to your meal is apparently $7. To recap everything: There had been a couple of hiccups but the service was exceptional and the food was great. I had the salmon with seasonal vegetables rather than spinach. I had asked what vegetables these were when ordering and was told broccoli and brussel sprouts. What arrived was brussel sprouts only. The salmon and mashed potatoes were great: I’m not a big fan of brussel sprouts but they had a sweet flavor that was almost good. My husband liked them and ate them (I had been willing to try the brussel sprouts and wanted the broccoli). My husband had the pecan trout; he said it was good too. He also at first received a flat soda but that was quickly replaced. My 7yo had the pepperoni flatbread but immediately disliked it; he didn’t even really take a bite. I tried it to confirm and it did have a different flavor than what would typically be expected and it was a strong flavor. I also noticed a drizzle of some unknown, additional sauce. We asked if we could have something else, they said they could get some chicken tenders done quickly, and that the tenders were quite “normal” (I asked) so we went with that. As the server was taking the one bite taken of flatbread, he offered to let us keep it and box it up. Thinking we adults could eat it later rather than it getting tossed in the restaurant kitchen trash, we said sure. The chicken tenders came and while there was nothing wrong with them, they did have more than the typical seasoning for chicken tenders (it was something aromatic, like rosemary). Luckily my admittedly picky child did eat some but only about half. The french fries got the seal of approval. The manager checked on us and was quite pleasant and responsive. The server remembered that ice cream came with the kid meal when we had forgotten so that was great. It was vanilla bean ice cream rather than plain vanilla so that was another strike out with my kid but was otherwise very nice. The server also took 10% off our total implying a veteran discount (he could tell one of us was a veteran) but also mentioning making up for the trouble with the child meal (this didn’t quite cover the cost of one of the kid meals). Long story short, my husband paid the check without knowing that there were errors. I saw the check errors after we had left. What was a fairly nice night out was marred by being overcharged and being surprised about being charged for the flatbread. In my vast restaurant experience, things sent back, even for just being disliked, aren’t charged for. Also, even at restaurants trying to be more upscale, a child menu really should be very clear about what you are getting. ETA: Possibly, they don’t actually want kids here. The atmosphere is very nice but in hindsight is one where I might not take a child unless very mature, or possibly for lunch. The description we read online mentioned it being good for families so we went based on that.
Disappointed in the experience here. We got sat right away and our waiter got to us immediately and ordered appetizers and drinks. We got our appetizers quickly but our cocktails didn’t come for about 20 minutes. No one got our entree orders in about that same time as well or to check on us. Then our entrees came and I ordered a steak and sautéed spinach. The spinach and onions noted in the picture were not cooked thoroughly. It was pretty much a salad with no dressing at this point. No one really checked on us as we ate and had to flag someone down for drink refills as well asking someone to bring us our check. This was all on a Sunday night around 7pm. Maybe they don’t have enough staff or caught them at a bad time but service was very slow. Their deviled eggs are really good and there is plenty of parking here.
We used to frequent Towne Grille and decided to return for dinner, but this visit was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, the hostess (who we later learned was the manager) had her back turned and took quite a while to acknowledge us. After being seated, service was slow and dismissive from start to finish. Our drinks didn’t arrive until we were nearly done eating. My margarita came in a visibly dirty glass, and when I declined it, the waitress responded with a shrug and sarcasm. Meanwhile, we watched other tables receive noticeably attentive and friendly service. We had to chase down staff just to get basic refills. Management was nonchalant when the concerns were brought up. It wasn’t until I let her know I’d escalate to the district manager that she became apologetic and tried to make it right. While our meal was comped and a gift card was offered, the issue wasn’t about the money, it was about the treatment. The Alliance area is very diverse so it was surprising to get this type of treatment . Just sharing our experience so that other people of color know what to expect.
The music volume and selection have killed the vibe and ambiance of Towne Grill. As a patron who has been coming here at least weekly for years it is sad what has happened to this restaurant especially considering how amazing the other FarOut Hospitality restaurants are. I'm sure what changed with the people in charge but I would gladly welcome the old manager. Please send this one down to Studio 80. The waitstaff, bartenders and food is still excellent.
My wife and I love the food and we go to Martini Monday religiously. We enjoy dinner and reasonably priced drinks on a day when a lot of places are closed. We were recently very disappointed to learn that the Monday martini special was being discontinued. We love Marcy at the bar and our Monday evenings out but are now less inclined to go. Side note, we also loved the off menu crab cakes and think they are the best we’ve ever had. Sad they are no longer available.
