I left the Dunkirk Fredonia area in 1983 at the age of 21, Lena's Pizza was an icon then that I ate at regularly. I was thrilled to find them still here and still run by wonderful people! The food is still off the chain to use and old phrase by and old man!!! If you want the best wings and pizza, this is the place to be!!!❤

Wanted to try Lena's again, this used to be our "go to" pizza place. We were sick of the same old place so we took a trip to Fredonia and weren't disappointed! Cooked perfectly, sauce had perfect seasoning and love that they cut it in squares. It's been a LONG time (20+ years) since we ate the whole darn pie...couldn't help it. Do yourself a favor, grab a Lena's pizza! Update: Grabbed another Lena's pie while in Fredonia, Thursday. Cooked to perfection and served with a smile 😃 Thanks Lena's!

Very good wings and sandwich. We had the turkey bacon ranch. It was fantastic, good amount of meat and a nice flavor. I usually prefer white American cheese, but the provolone worked. We had the bbq wings. They had a wonderful flavor and were served nice and hot! The blue cheese, which was Kens was very nice, but I was longing for a homemade with fresh chunks of blue cheese. Maybe in the future for Lena’s! Counter service was good and even though there was a mix up with our order, they made it right by offering a discount, which we agreed to . When we travel to Fredonia- will definitely come back for more!

They have the nicest people working there that I’ve literally ever met. The food was absolutely fresh and fantastic! Totally reasonably priced, 4 adults ate for $30 with wings and a couple different types of wings. Definitely a place to grab food from, a great local place with charm and delicious food.

Been ordering pizza, wings, and subs from Lena’s for over 10 years. Food is always great, and service is wonderful. Even when there is a mixup in the order, they are always quick to fix it. I’ve seen them deal with the rudest, most obnoxious customers with patience and more respect than they deserved.

Nice little pizzeria in Fredonia with very reasonable prices. They even do curbside pickup in addition to delivery and take out orders. The pizza was delicious and the steak sub was tasty. Would highly recommend Lena's for pizza and subs.

It's a small pizza parlor BUT the food is great ! A staple of small town Fredonia and WNY pizza. Doughy crust with a great balance of sauce and toppings. Depending on time of ordering plan for a wait as it's a college town.

Had a good time as far as I can remember! My buddy and I wandered in quite intoxicated looking for a pizza at like 1am and they graciously made us both personal pizzas. I made sure to tip (money is fake! Haha) and in my drunken state I thoroughly enjoyed my pizza. I'm sure it's quite amazing sober too, I highly recommend this place if you're in need of some midnight munchies. They were patient with us and weren't mean despite us probably annoying them. I appreciate things like that very much.

My family and I went for a quick lunch. We were waited on by a very nice person. And we sat out on the porch and enjoyed our meal.

We were in town for a visit and my wife knew they were good many years ago when she was growing up here. I can say they are still hitting the ball out of the park, amazing crust and generous toppings, all cooked to perfection. This will be a go to on all future visits!

Honestly the best wings and blue cheese in the area. Only complaint is that the Fredonia location sometimes just doesn’t answer their phone. It just rang (replaying the same message) for about 10 minutes straight. Tried that twice before switching to a competitor. That’s the third time that’s happened! I’ll still choose them over the competition, as long as they answer the phone! lol.

Best and most consistent pizza place in Fredonia. Owned by a former employee, the place hasn't changed in quality for at least 20 years. Good staff, great website and advanced phone service. If you don't believe me you can watch an Episode on "Small Business Revolution" all about them. Easily my go-to pizza place around town. I've never had a bad pie from them... Ever.

Good years ago, great now. What is it about pepperoni and banana peppers that Lena's gets right, when so many get it wrong? Is it my sense of nostalgia? No. But it *is* that the toppings are generous enough in distribution to taste them in every bite.

Got the cheese garlic bread & fried green beans. Both were amazing! Highly recommend

Wings have been great every time I've gone. Edit Updated Review - I think there is a recent issue with their phone line/service as it is impossible to get through to anyone. I've been on hold over ten minutes with the hold music so think their phone lines are down or something as this has happened both times ive called recently with no one picking up to even acknowledge "please hold." Service is usually good but weird this has happened multiple times.

We had both a white pizza and pepperoni and mushrooms pizza with medium wings and honey mustard wings, I had a little of each overall everything was good white pizza crust was a little too doughy for my liking. It seemed a little dry.

It's your local decent enough pizza shop. I eat wings from here easily twice a month sometimes once a week. The wraps are good. Everything is fine.

I eat here a lot more then I probably should. The pizza is good. I don't think it's greasy. I've eaten a lot of things off the menu. Just enjoy the food. The staff is nice. I've never been unhappy ordering from here. You can order online for pickup only (at the time of writing this).

Crust was PERFECT, sauce wasn't overdone or over seasoned and topping were plentiful. Wings were really big, but on the Garlic Parmesan there was hardly any sauce or flavor. Fried mushrooms were just about perfect, not over fried and breading wasn't to thick. At 7:30 on a Friday evening an hr for delivery. Apparently that's the norm for NY. Guy taking the order was polite & actually verified which drinks they had in stock so I would get what I ordered.

The food is really good here and probably the best pizza I've had. Unfortunately sometimes it's not worth the wait on hold for ordering. Almost every time I call this place I get put on hold for over 5 minutes. I understand that it can get busy, but it feels like they don't answer the phone a majority of the time.

Big fan of Lena's when I come to visit my family in the area. I miss the Dunkirk location but the Fredonia one is also just as good. This place introduced my fiancee to chicken finger subs and loganberry so it'll always be her favorite place to eat.

Ordered from Westfield store small order of wings opened them up when i got home 2 of them looked like someone had already chewed them and the rest when i took a bite they fell apart they were gross! Won't order wings there again. The pizza was good at least.

It seems their food isn't as good of late. The pizzas have arrived overcooked or lacking topping at the edges. The cheese sticks were overdone to the point that most of the cheese was gone. Delivery times are at least an hour, no matter what day you call. Twice I was on hold so long I hung up and called someplace else. Use to be my favorite place to go but as of the last several months, not so much.

Amazing Food! Unfortunately Delivery from this establishment isn't as great.... The past few times I have ordered delivery from Lenas it has taken two hours or more to get delivered.... If you want good pizza in the Fredonia/ Dunkirk area definitely order Lenas! Just order it and pick it up from the shop.

If you order here, get a sub, as their pizza is not much better in quality than a $5 Hot and Ready at little ceasers. Their Joey sub however is fantastic. Im lazy sometimes, and live near, but their delivery time has exceeded an hour and a half on more than one occasion.

Still my favorite pizza and wing place in the area! Unfortunately, service has gone down hill. This is the third time the order has been incorrect and had to be remade. Mistakes happen but this is too often now. The order wasn't complicated either, just a pep with extra cheese. What was given is just cheese, let's slow down and get the order right. And please don't change the formula of the food lol.

Their mild is still very hot for me. The owner would not replace my order of wings and we could not eat them. My son was 19 months. Will only order plain. The old owner would replace them if they were too hot. I was willing to bring the wings back.I have a very bad and sensitive stomach. I was so disappointed. He didn't even offer me anything else. I lost money and skipped a meal due to this. Besides that the pizza is amazing. Wings are awesome! Will have to order plain from now on so I won't lose my money wish they had a better mild. The old owner made them perfect.

Have always been a Lena's pizza, wings, subs, only family until lately due to the awful wait time to place an order. Tonight called Mary's (good pizza) answered 2nd ring. Please do something about the time held on the phone. It's been going on for awhile I can't believe more people have not complained. You will lose business.

I'm generally content with the food here (fredonia) However, recently, I ordered a personal pizza. ....plain, just cheese, no toppings, etc. When I arrived to pick up my order, I noticed that not only was my personal pizza cheesy, it was pepperoni-ey and sausage-ey. Blah blah blah. ...I went back into the store to give that atrocity back and get a refund......which i did, and they did. Incorrectly. They refunded me for a plain personal pizza. I got the wrong damn pizza and the incorrect denomination of refunded American dollars and coins. Pfft

The food is usually very good and one of the best in the area. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience this last Thursday. We paid 97 dollars for a cheese and pepperoni party pizza with 48 wings. Only got pepperoni on half with a huge 2 inch crust, the wings were dry with no sauce. I walked in the door and not one employee greeted me until after 5 minutes of standing there. The phone rang for a while and I literally saw an employee pick up the phone and hang up! It took me a few tries to get through as well. I hate to see you lose business from having a disrespectful staff.

I used to order from Lena's frequently. I stopped because my last experience there was so awful. Me and a friend ordered food. We ordered and they told us it would take 20 mins. We arrived 30 minutes after placing the order. When we walked in we were not greeted. We also realized that they were just then making our food. So we sat and waited. We sat for about 5 minutes until someone said something to us. Now, I can understand that businesses get busy and things happen. The reason I decided to stop ordered from them was due to their lack of hospitality. Take the time to apologize for long waits and to greet customers when they walk in. It makes a difference.

Good food but very expensive. Customer service was mediocre. Went to pick up my food and waited for at least 10 minutes in the lobby with about 6 people waiting with me. As soon as I got up to the counter to retrieve my order, all the employees were scattered about. It took a few minutes before someone even cashed me out. I'm not sure I would order again. Also, the menu on their website is completely inaccurate for prices.

Ordered a pizza and cheese sticks. Went 15 min early to be sure my in my 3 minute drive home they would still be hot. Get it home and it was all cold. Obviously they were not hot when they gave them to me. How they were able to achieve that one is beyond me. Not happy with them for that kind of money!

The pizza is very good but for some reason they cut their large round pizza in squares. Pizza has a natural handle which is why you cut in triangles. " Just ask them to cut it in triangles" you say? I do and 90% of the time they forget. I am currently there to pick up a free pizza due to them screwing up cutting it and guess what? it's cut in squares. They are currently making me a new one. Time to look for a new pizza place.

Wow, this place used to have energy and look busy! Ate here Saturday night and it was a mistake. I'm not sure the pizza dough was proofed properly, the crust was crumby, with no flavor and it seemed like the recipe had changed. The pizza was over-sauced as well, which did help to make up for the crust. I wasn't even sure if the staff fully took our order, seemed like they were half asleep. asked for some items at the table to eat with, and they came out when we were packing up to go. I hardly ever write bad reviews but this place has gone downhill quick. Focus seems more on opening new restaurants at the expense of the ones you already had...

I don’t know what happened to Lenas Pizza but it sure is not the same and I bought for years, I bought a pizza yesterday and it was absolutely terrible, no where near what it use to be . Very disappointing . I use to love there pizza, I will never order again 15.00 for medium pizza you may as well buy a 5.99 domino’s you get same poor quality and taste for a third of the money

Got delivery to the hotel, order didn't include silverware or any condiments. Fries were cold soggy and impossibly salty. I don't know how but my salad lettuce was completely limp...weird gross. Soggy chicken parm and also burnt. How is this place number 1?!

We ordered pizza twice for delivery from Lena’s this summer. Both times our pizza arrived over 2 hrs plus from when the order was placed. When you call up on the phone, I had to wait for a good 10 mins to talk to someone. Ridiculous!!! Won’t be going back!!

On May 24th I ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza. I was told the cost plus tip. When the pizza was delivered, the person who arrived with the order informs me the machine that prints the receipts was inoperable. I couldn't get a receipt. When I look at my online bank account the cost of the order was $5.00 more than the agreed amount of the order. In other words, I agreed to a $5.00 tip and the deliverer got a $10.00 tip. Do not use your plastic to pay for the food at this establishment.

I called a little before 5. I was put on hold which is ok. I know things get busy. But 7 plus minutes later I gave up. I called another pizza place and with minimal wait placed my order. I will give you another try sometime but you should answer your phone in a timely manner.

Horrible ordering experience. Ordered cheese sticks for my nephew and a pizza. What I received was breadsticks instead. I called to politely explain their mistake and was rudely treated by the woman who answered the phone who said "you got what you paid for." I stated but that's not what I ordered and my nephew wants cheese sticks. She said " well we're busy." Asked to speak to manager and she dropped the phone. The manager, Jared, picks up and repeats the phrase that I got what I paid for. I explained that that was not what I ordered. He said well that's fine and that they're busy. He then hung up. I will be contacting the owner about his workers but do yourself a favor and avoid this sorry excuse for a business. I made an order for two pizzas and chicken wings and a sub. Came out to over $100. Ordered the same food from someplace else $44.. The owner of the restaurant followed me out to my car and yelled at me he has no clue what I do for a living I can't wait to see him. Do not order food from this place they are a joke the third time I've ordered from them during the covid pandemic as well as overcharging I will never order from them again and I'm going to slam them every chance I get

Ordered food and had it delivered. Fries were very stale and hard called and respectfully asked if I could get my money back or even get fresh ones but the manager claims they just came up and they can’t do anything about it. On top of that the pizza was cold and the wings were dry. And they didn’t give me celery and carrots which it advertises that it comes with wings.

They will get your order wrong or "FORGET" to make it. I used to love this place, yet over the past year, every single time we place an online order ahead of time, they either "forget" an item in the order and make us wait while they make it once we get there and offer no apology or compensation for our time OR the order is wrong. There's a reason we place the order ahead... so we dont have to wait. So this time, we placed an online order for 5:30pm, my husband went to pick it up and was told they "forgot" to make our pizza. The order was literally one pizza and an order of wings. So they made him wait over an additional half an hour while they made it and our wings sat there drying out. There was plenty of staff there who were all just standing around. They also do absolutely nothing to make things right. The wings were disgusting and dry AND they still started to square cut the pizza before my husband stopped them and asked them to pie cut it as requested on the order form. So i guess the staff is also illiterate. This was the last straw. If you want a great pizza and customer service, try Pizza Guru's in Brocton instead. The previous two orders we have placed online also had one item "forgotten" and we were made to wait there for an extended amount of time. I am absolutely livid and Lena's has lost a couple of once loyal customers. The owner needs to get their staff under control because they are running this place into the ground.

DONT EAT HERE!!! Ordered here the other night and as I’m looking around I thought the place looked so disgusting and dirty.Just came across a Facebook post where for months they have had backed up sewer ALLLL over the basement and it’s leaking up into the vents so bad one employee is sick from it…..if it’s dirty where customers can see can’t imagine the horrors being closed doors.Not to mention the pizza tastes like flavorless cardboard.

Ordered 3 subs for delivery. Waited 2 hours. They would not answer the phone. Went down to store it seemed like they had no idea what’s going on. When the phone rings the guy muted it each time. Got back home and one of the subs had sausage instead of steak on it. Never ever ever again will I order from here.

This review is on the service alone because I was not able to order their food. I called at 7pm to ask how late they were offering delivery because we had been driving all day and didn't want to have to go out. I was told that if I called and ordered by 8:15 then we could still get delivery. So I set an alarm for 8:00 so we would be a bit early. I was in the phone with someone there to order by 8:03 and was told that I couldn't get delivery because their driver was already out for the last delivery. I complained that I was told that I could call by 8:15 and still get delivery and he said that he was the one that told me that but that the driver was already out and I couldn't get delivery. No delivery and never got even an apology. I ordered Pizza Hut instead, got it delivered and it was fantastic. Please don't spend your money here.

I called to order food, told them my name and when my son came to pick it up, they said I didn't order. The person on the phone explained that they have a place in Dunkirk . I explained that I called the Fredonia one and they said they put the wrong name. My son went to the Fredonia Lena's and they didn't have the order after I talked to the gentleman. I heard bad reviews from this place but the guy was rude and disrespectful. Never again. This is not the first time having g bad service here

To preface this I did order delivery on Super Bowl Sunday, so I was very lenient when the large pizza 24 wings that I had ordered did not come on time. Called to order at 5pm and placed the order for 7pm. Waited an hour for food to arrive and called twice, the first i was told that it was on its way and the second there was no answer for 15 min. At this point I drove to Lenas where I was informed that the worker who took my order got both my address and phone number wrong, even though I quite literally spelled the address out for her as well as confirmed it the first time I called to check on my order. I was shown the food that had been sitting there for who knows how long and both were cold, pizza looked like it had been thrown across the shack that they call a pizza place. Manager asked if I would like to have a 33% discount and I promptly denied. In all their customer service is terrible.

I like the food but not holding on the phone. I was on hold for over 3 1/2 hours. I just wondered how long I would be left on hold. If they were closed, a message should have stated that fact. I was put on hold for 30 minutes a couple of days ago but understood they got overwhelmed. Talked to the manager, got an explanation and an apology so I ordered, the delivery took half hour longer than quoted. The whole process took 2 1/2hours (for one cold sub). Not good business.

Ordered delivery and they never brought my food to the door and blamed us for not answering our phone. Charged us $42 for no food and then continuously was given attitude when I pursued a refund. Will never be giving these people my business again. So many other small businesses could’ve used the exposure. Sad 😞

I ordered a pizza sub and fried mushrooms as a side. The sub wasn't cooked, toasted or warned up & had very few of the toppings I requested, the cheese wasn't melted. An uncooked pizza sub? I didn't eat the pizza sub, however the mushrooms were delish and plentiful!

At one time this was the best pizza around. Now it’s terrible. Ordered a large cheese and pepperoni and about 5 slices don’t have any pepperoni on them, and the dough isn’t cooked through. I would’ve been happy to wait an extra few minutes for my pizza to be cooked through. We stopped ordering for a long time and decided tonight to give them another chance. It won’t happen again.

Recently called to order food. I asked the cashier/ worker if they in delivered in Dunkirk. He was very hesitant but said yes. I proceeded with my order. I wanted a New York style pizza and 12 wings. After he took my order he then tells me that they have a big order at 5:45 pm and they would try to get my order to me after or before 5:45pm. It was 4:27 pm when I called. So I said to him so I would have to wait two hours for my food. He was hesitant again and began to stutter and repeated what he said. From his tone and response I could tell that he really didn’t want my business so I said never mind thank you and hung up the phone. I have waited an hour for food but to say it would take to hours I found that very strange for such a small order. I also found my treatment as a previous customer very discriminating. I will not be ordering from your establishment in the future.

Ordered there first time and food was actually good. Following week wanted it again called at 8:50 since closes at 10PM for large and 20. Phone rang and rang. Decided to drive down arrived at 9:05 doors locked and people just ignored me inside. Called other location and kid hung up on me. It's a shame cause they would have had a good customer and now I would never go back or recommend. It was on 9/17
