We have been in several Panera Bread places and all are fantastic! They make sandwiches that you have never heard of on great bread. Well worth searching for these places.

Panera has an extensive menu and yummy food. I ordered the French onion soup and Turkey sandwich which was quite tasty.

Delicious lunch!. Always amazing soups and sandwiches. It is a much healthier choice than most fast food places that are out there, and the meals taste so delicious! They have pastries, all kinds of coffee drinks, and some awesome fountain drinks with ingredients like pomegranate, ginger, blood orange, chia. Don't forget to sign up for your Panera card!

This location didn't listen to my mom's order 1 bit. They gave me a tuna sandwich on nasty bread when I ordered a tuna MELT WITH CHEDDAR ON SOURDOUGH!!!!! This was the first time and the LAST I will EVER order here. Please go somewhere else besides here. They will RUIN YOUR MEAL . I GUARANTEE IT

I've been going to this Panera for a little over a year now and their food is delicious! There are only two items in the menu that I personally don't like but in general the rest of the food is amazing! It's delicious and nutritious and the people are nice too. I highly recommend going to Panera for food. Sadly, due to COVID they cut down the pastries and don't have the chocolate chip muffie, which is my favorite pastry. As sad as I was in the beginning, it allowed me to try different pastries and I found a couple that I liked. I hope the chocolate chip muffie comes back soon but for now I've found some substitutions for those days where I crave something sweet.

Food is always delicious and fresh. Staff always take their time to make orders right and the experience of eating their pleasant. Their staff is awesome.

I got the Pizza, Thai Chicken soup and bag of chips. Everything was delicious. Pizza was great. Highly recommend the Thai soup. My order came quick. Plenty of tables to sit at. Employees were friendly. Lots of menus options. Will definitely go there again and look forward to the different foods they come up with.

I put in a large order for lunch meeting and called to check that some of the orders were gluten free. The woman who helped me went way above and beyond to research the ingredients and she even threw in an extra gluten free salad as one of the meal orders was classified as “may contain gluten”. I was so shocked by how much care she put into my order. It’s really hard to order gluten free food anywhere and servers often don’t understand it. I’m really grateful and impressed!

I love picking this place to eat to get salads, soups, sandwiches and refreshing drinks. The "pick two" promotion the restraunt is perfect for when you want a little health food mixed with comforting creamy mac and cheese or a hearty soup. I love the drink selection, always providing different flavors and never too sweet. The staff here are very nice and accomodating. Muy amable. Online orders are easy and almost always on time. The only off thing about this place are the apples, they are very bland and not sweet at all, but that is me nitpicking.

I shared with the staff that I bought a salad at another Panera in Fresno and they forgot to put in the lettuce. A different time I bought a chicken sandwich and there was only two little pieces of chicken in it. A different time there was no meat at all. When they made my salad at this Panera they fixed it up all pretty and had plenty of lettuce. I appreciated that they listened to what I said. If you want to buy soup you're going to pay way more than it's worth. But as far as the food itself I like it. It's one of my favorite places to go to when I'm out of town because I know what I can buy and it's easy. The Panera in Gilroy had a nice environment. And even though I just picked up a salad it would have been a comfortable place to stay.

This location is always super clean, and the staff is friends + makes consistent great tasting food. Estella is my favorite cook! Always remembers how I like my order. The manager Nicole is also super nice and remembers my name when I stop by for breakfast. My work now only uses her catering for meetings (thank you for today's order!). Thanks!

I always love coming here. But recently they’ve been getting my order wrong A LOT. This was my third time in a row that they've gave me the wrong order. If they would fix this, it would be a 5/5.

Staff is friendly and usually willing to help. My sandwich always comes out correct. It's a busy place at lunch time though so plan accordingly!

Try the Autumn Squash soup. Incredible. They'll even give you a sample while you're ordering. Also our favorite item is the Apple and chicken salad. It had dried apples in it! Delicious. Chicken, spring mix salad, blue cheese crumbles, walnuts and an amazing dressing. I wish they'd bring back the soba noodle dishes they use to have. They were my main reason for going there.

Pretty good sometimes the people who take your order don't ask if you want other things with it, e.g sandwich so if you're getting something and are particular about what you want on it make sure you ask as some getting staff don't ask what you'd like so I got a plain sandwich and added my own veggies at home later

This location is right off the freeway. There is a large amount of space right in front of the cashiers four lines but there haven't been long lines when I've been there. They are friendly and make the food quickly. The location is clean and the bathrooms are clean.

There's good amount of parking lot spaces, free WiFi, food was delicious but a bit pricey.

After Covid the food selection is pared down which includes the pastries. We have been in the Gilroy store quite a few times now, and not a brownie in sight on any of those occasions. I stopped in one morning to take brownies to a meeting and none to be had. Not much of anything else either. They've put in an ordering kiosk. Your first contact with a customer seems diminished by a flat screen. It does come in handy though when you want something quick and they are busy. McDonalds does that, just another reason we never go to McDonalds. June 2024 Update Panera has added new meals to their menu! I love the new hot sandwiches Panera has added. They have plenty of protein, snappy new sauces on a fresh roll! One can also try them as part of the Pick 2 meal option! A great way to try them out. This last trip was the Strawberry chicken salad paired with Cr of Wild Rice and chicken soup! Delicious! Love the summer salads! Yes, my partner misses Clam Chowder Fridays but he is finding new favorites in the added offerings too. Oct 2023 update.Happy to write that things have improved at the Gilroy Panera. They have a few new people and they have been well trained and fun to come into contact with. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Tables have been clean every time we've stopped. The beverage counter is never out of stock. There have been more Items in the bakery, but still not back to pre- covid levels. There were brownies, but they no longer are frosted : (. The new style is that 1/2 of the brownie is dusted in powdered sugar. Makes for a much dryer brownie. The Lemon Drop shortbread cookies always seem to be around and they are excellent. The soups salads and newer offerings are delicious and fresh. Employees are doing a great job and are pleasant and friendly. All in all Panera has improved a lot and a trip there for lunch or dinner is an excellent choice.

I love Panera, good bread, good soup, mediocre service. But it's always so dirty every time I sit inside. Uncleaned tables, trash littering the floor. Unstocked drink station. They can do better.

Really nice European style deli cafe. Food is good quality , tho not consistent, you get something different but the same all the time. The crafted drinks/lemonades were pretty good. Will come back again.

Better service than a lot of other Panera locations. I do wish the tables were clean, and I didn't have to wipe it down myself before we could eat. I will also say at the cost of $30 for two soup & salad meals I think they could at least bring the food to the table still.

This Panera has you come get your food from the counter rather than delivering it to the tables. A bit challenging if you are in a large group as customers gather there waiting and you are juggling plates trying to squeeze through. The staff is helpful and assisted us in bringing the platters to our table. The food was delicious as always.

Their potato chips bags are mine filled with air than chips, and soup portions are now getting less and less for the last two years after the pandemic..... The other menu items seem to be reasonably well served.

The food is.... well..... OK but the prices are that of a sit down casual restaurant. Two 1/2 sandwiches two bowls of soup and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich kids meal plus two regular soft drinks and a apple juice box $32.00. They need to tend the trash/dirty plate bin. I have been to this place a few times and the trash bins are full and the dirty tray bin is over flowing.

I got the toasted pepperoni sandwich. It looked amazing. The problem was it was surprisingly tasteless. The sauce was undetectable and the pepperoni had very little taste. Sooooo disappointed. Maybe try a grilled cheese on a baguette. Or maybe use actual pizza sauce and better pepperoni.

That Panera Bread is smaller than another one I used to go. They serve the same foods with same quality and services. But I used to order foods with the apps on my cell phone because it saved all the customized foods I ordered, but they can only do it with Rapid Pick Up, not available for Order from the Table. Also they don't have the Self Order machine, you have to order it with the cashier. Hope that they will add it later on.

Not a fan of Panera. I haven't had bad food or bad service. I am just not a fan for some reason. I do think the price point is too high. I feel like the people that eat at these place feel like they are better than everyone else.

You charge way too much money for the amount of meat that you put on your food. I don't know why my sister even likes going there honestly. If it wasn't for her I would never go to your restaurant. It was a Mediterranean salad with grains and chicken. A whole lot of nothing is what it was. I think I saw maybe four little granules of that feta cheese you have too. Not worth the money honestly. It tastes good. But don't say it's with chicken when that is what you put on it. I think that butter Patty might have weighed more😆

I don't know why I keep torturing myself. Maybe because I think "oh, panera, that's healthy". Sure there are healthier things on the menu but they are NOT allergy friendly. Most of their salads listed on the menu do not have ingredients listed. Hence I order salads. Their menu does not state all ingredients or has things like " ancient grains". What are these ancient grains? No one apparently knows. Had to get a manager and then found out I was allergic to these "ancient grains". The salad I finally ordered didn't say it had cheese and luckily they exchanged it for one without. But it was frustrating. I need to remember to not go here.

New: The Rapid Pickup is consistently not on the shelf even 5-10 minutes after the "ready" time. It's ready, just not in a place a customer could, or should access it. Leading me to hunt someone down to get it for me. Not very rapid, about 1/3 or the time. Old: Never make any mistakes on my order. Rapid Pickup is the best!

I usually always have a great experience at Panera and the employees are always so sweet and I’m happy with my food. But when I just went in, the employee named Carrie that helped me was very rude and my soup wasn’t filled up all the way and I was very disappointed... also they didn’t have half of the menu which is understandable during the holiday but I felt disappointed.

Staff sucked! -Had to continue to repeat myself -Didn’t get my order correct -kitchen staff continued to YELL in Spanish for the entirety of my meal. Food sucks! -Mediterranean Bowl looked like a disaster compared to other PB locations. -My food was crazy hot (Chicken and Rice). -Obviously microwaved and extremely disappointing for a $16.00 bowl. -Bread was cold, hard and rubbery. Walked in cashier was a young lady no greet waiting for us to order just staring. After wer order our meals she proceeds to saying they have no chips and all we can get is an apple.asked if we could substitute something else she said no. If a restaurant does not have the necessary supplies for a meal dont charge me for something i dont want. Just like i have to spend my money and they charge high prices you should also conside this. Also we know the soup is just warmed up please warm it up warmer next time no one likes eating cold soup.

Gilroy Panera is a joke. Two times I have put my order in online and two times they have gotten my order wrong! I love Panera but not this one.

Lady taking orders was apparently the manager of the establishment on 12/7/21 had a horrible attitude 🙄 wouldn't speak up and got frustrated when I asked her to repeat herself, also denied me a coupon. Staff in the kitchen however, are very friendly. I'm sorry they have to put up with someone as arrogant as this lady manager. Maybe she shouldn't be the face that greets the customers. Plus I come here often I'm really sorry to have such a negative comment about this place. She didn't want to answer my questions. I ordered a citrus drink with little ice. It was watered down and tasted awful. I went to another Panera up north, got the EXACT same drink, and it wasn't watered down. It was delicious, and that's why I ordered it again. Watering down drinks that are almost 6.00 and probably cost 1.00 to make is criminal.

Expectations vs reality. Pictures vs actual is horrendous.

I came here, as I recently began working in the area. Saw a hair in my mac n cheese and took it up to the counter and the lady stirs it and says "no hair"...yeah, it was on top where I pointed. Sure stirring it would make it not visable. They did nothing about it. Shut this location down Coporate! Avoid this "hairy mac n cheese" Panera location. I know that I will, from now on.

Went in and ordered, food was okay. However, one of the managers, Daisy, was not very friendly and extremely unprofessional. I miss the old management!! I guess they really hire anyone nowadays…

App would not let me order at from 7:30 until closing time due to other orders being placed already and my large order (30$ worth of food…)

I went to this PANERA today..I'm one of those people that don't mine to pay extra when it comes to food. I order to pick up a salad ND a soup I paid for extra dressing and everything else. My fault was not to check my bag before leaving PANERA, I drove home and of course after a long date at work I want to enjoy my food there was ZERO DRESSING THAT I PAID FOR 😠. Likely I was home otherwise there WERE ZERO UTENSILS!! no for no spoon and no dressing. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I called the store and the phone just rings. Very disappointing. Terrible experience

Went in there wanting to check out on their self check out just to get a better view of their menu. During payment the machine wouldn’t work. The lady saw us struggling while on the phone for 5 minutes and didn’t even acknowledge, so we ate somewhere else. Next time acknowledging your customers if they are having issues.

The place is not clean, no toilet paper. Tables are not cleaned off even though it was not busy, almost every table was not washed off.

Good food, prices reasonable, but employees dont have a customer service orientation. If the manager wasn't present, they spent all their time socializing and ignoring the order counter area. Then, the manager arrives from wherever and everyone jumps to look attentive. Not great from my point of view.
