This is by far the best Golden Corral restaurant in the RGV. My wife and I travel quite a bit here in the valley and eat at lots of different places and this place ranks among the top for us. And just to add, they also honor the veterans. Congratulations to the managers, the cooks and all the staff. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into everything.

5 years ago I gave this location a bad review. But today, I had to edit my past review, because the quality of food has really gone up, and they're back to cooking some delicious home cooked meals.

Went in for lunch and the food was delicious and our server Jacinda was amazing! We've been there many times but this was the first time she was our waitress. Jacinda was polite, knowledgeable and very friendly. She had other tables but never failed to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Diana Rosales always gives us extraordinary service ! Highly recommend finding a seat in her area of service. Will be back again. Food was good.

It was a very nice afternoon that I was able to spend with my family last Sunday. The food was good, not too bad in my opinion. The atmosphere wasn’t too packed, which is perfect in my opinion! And the service was amazing! We had a lovely server by the name Priscilla, she was very sweet, very helpful, and even had conversation with us. Again, a wonderful time!

Delicious steaks; loved the meatloaf; mashed potatoes and brown gravy too; had to have some fish; and a little mac and cheese; and a couple of the grilled fish fillets; and a piece of beer battered fish of course. And some rice. And a small slice of pepperoni pizza. And I love refried beans; and I can’t say no to the bourbon st. chicken; and soft serve vanilla ice cream hit the spot; and mix it with bread pudding. I left very full; and for about the same price as a regular dinner elsewhere. And got to try all of my favorites.

I was greeted when I walked into the door. The manager on duty, Jesslyn was kind enough to show me where the lemons were located and she even bagged my to go. Great hospitality Harlingen. Donavan the cashier did an excellent job training the new girl when they were weighing my food.

Stopped by Golden Corral on my own and had a really good experience and Giselle was my server. She was welcoming right away and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She checked in at the right moments, kept my drink refilled, and was just genuinely pleasant to interact with. Even though it was a bit crowded, she still made me feel taken care of. 2•9•25 seems like I prefer this place. The food is good. Took snap shots quickly of the bar not the best pics but good food. Each time I come, my steak is well cooked, not raw when I ask for a piece. This place is much cleaner and cool and very busy for a Sunday. Anyways, thank you, Golden Coral, for your service and hospitality. My waitress was always always very attentive to. Vs. Brownsville is always just messy and choas when it comes to the hours. and Weslaco is small yet very hot inside, always with air conditioning problems and fountain drinks out of order. Yet less choice in food to. But Harlingen is the place it is overwhelming at times but it is very nice and staff to. Very good, food. Thank you, Golden Corral. I enjoy this location rather than the one closer to us in brownsville. Many reasons would rather not say but to continue with great jobs and clean areas in your restaurant, and I always get awesome customer service with the waiter or waitress that I get. 😀

The food at the salad bar was contaminated after an old man coughed and sneezed on it, I reported it to the manager and they just left the food there. Also the plates and utensils still had food on them indicating that they were not cleaned properly. My wife and I ended up getting food poisoning the next day. It's not our first time with this happening, but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. It costed way to much for the food and service to be so terrible. Sad to say that a restaurant that was my favorite growing up will most likely never be visited by my family again. But to each their own, maby you will have a better experience than I did, and I hope you do.

We are visiting from out of town and hadn't been to a Golden Corral in forever. So we walk in and start to get our drinks when a worker literally comes right in front of me, reaches over me to refill his drink. I said "really? You're just going to reach over me like that" he finished getting his drink anyway and said he didn't need my attitude. It turns out he was the Manager. What a poor excuse for a manager and a horrible representative of Golden Corral. We decided to just leave and not give them our business. We went across the street to Applebees where we were treated so much better.
