Late arrival. Still received prompt service. Food was delivered hot and delicious after very little wait time. Place was buzzing with people, but the waitress checked on us.

I was reading the reviews, and I couldn't understand how negative some of them were about the food. Maybe it had to do with the time they go. I've been to hooters several times and can not stop talking about how good the food is. I usually stick to the wings or the burger. No one else has better wings than hooters, and the burgers are juicy and flavorful. I'm a foodie, and anyone who knows me knows that, lol. I guess it does depend on what time you go because I'm there anywhere between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and have never had an issue with the food.

I've been to just about all the locations in TX and by far this location was very nice and the service was great. The food was great, I always get the wings or half order to try them out so I can tell friends and family and I was not disappointed. I look forward to my next visit.

Xixi, my hooters girl (absolu-fricking-ly beautiful btw!) was my server and I must say, as SOON as me and my brother walked into the building there was not a singular moment where she was not attentive to us despite seeing her handle multiple tables all at once (one being a party of like 100 it seemed like! lol jk more like 10). On top of her impeccable service and attentiveness she was also cracking jokes with me and my brother and I came back the day after during my lunch break just to have her again! Keep in mind I had never been to a hooters either so this was definitely an amazing introduction to the restaurant and would come again and again if Xixi is my server #hooters4lyfe

Allie was extremely awesome. We saw she had her hands full, but made sure she took care of all her tables in an awesome, timely manner. We got to meet the manager and expressed to her how awesome Allie is. Keep up the great job and great food cooks!

My favorite place to unwind after a long day of work! The beer is always ice cold (the coldest beer in Harlingen fyi), the wings with some curly fries are the best, and the fried pickles are to die for! The atmosphere is always great! Make sure to request Kassy L as your bartender, she’s the sweetest and provides the BEST service!

Location is very clean, waitress Katy was friendly and in a good mood kept coming to the table to make sure everything was good. Her service was a 20 out of 10. Manager was friendly, was constantly checking on my table and others as well. Very respectful and made me feel as if I were family. Beer was cold and didn’t taste old. The burger I ordered prepared by Caleb was hot, veggies tasted fresh, bread was soft. Fries perfectly seasoned and cooked. Food was a 20 out of 10 as well. Definitely recommend and will keep coming back.

I had not been to Hooters in a long time. They have really improved their recipes. I had the Daytona wings. They were excellent. It had a sweet and spicy flavor. Ask for April. She was very pleasant and provided great service.

I had a bad meal the night before. I called the manager Victor, and he made it right! I really appreciate the no hassle credit for my meal. I went in the next day, and the server Nina was amazing! She was so friendly and personable! We even bonded over states that we had in common. Victor came over and introduced himself and personally apologized for the meal we had the night before. The new meal was fresh, hot and good! The atmosphere and staff were fantastic! I would absolutely go back.

Food was delicious! But the wait for the food was more than 30 mins. We ordered curly fries with cheese as our appetizer and we got the wings before the appetizer, then I guess it turns out the order for the fries was never put in so we never got our fries. But as far as the wings they were excellent!

Certainly critics will question giving Hooters a 5 - I am 50 years old and have no fantasy of dating staff here - I truly go for the wings - Most of the Bartenders and Waitresses are exceptionally good,friendly, polite and welcoming. Food is relatively prompt and I have never had a mistake on an order. Critiques, there are a couple of Bartenders who pay attention to regulars neglecting some visitors. They also measure drinks here instead of just pouring drinks. For a Texas Bar this is a bit disappointing. However, overall this is simply a great place for food and watching sports and I definitely recommend it.

This location is good. Staff are friendly and the food is good. Great place to watch the game and have a few beers with friends. Get here early for the game because the place fills up fast. Lots of beers on tap and lots of TV's to watch the game. Overall, a very well run Hooter's location.

Let's be honest. Its not 100% about the food. The beer was good too lol. The staff was very attractive and did a really good job service wise. The food was decent but they were out of a few items.

Had a great lunch with my cousin! I ordered the Bacon Mac and Cheese Burger! Beyond huge! It took a hot minute to get some silverware but didn't really bother us. They had people spaced out enough to feel comfortable considering covid restrictions and the wait staff was friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Food was good beer was okay, the only issue I had was that they sat a family of four directly next to us . there was no divider between my family and theirs even though there was a wall but the wall was not a divider since we were in high tables. I would recommend putting a plexiglass divider between those tables as soon as you enter to avoid that. other than that the food was good and the staff was friendly beer was great and I had a good time thank you.

Food was good, crab legs were cooked great, easy to eat but the mexican seasoning they put on the shell made it extremly messy. Seasoning is pointless for flavor since it is on the shell. Server seemed new so giving her a pass on forgeting water.

Stopped here while out on a ride. I had a spiked lemonade which was fantastic. The grilled shrimp tacos were delicious. Service was a little slow, but I didn't mind. I wasn't in a hurry.

I've gone a few times at the request of friends. The recent experience, I've enjoyed the hospitality, quality of the food hasn't let me down in contrast to others. However, I generally just order wings. As for beverages, I usually order a mixer at the bar. Since the bartenders pour spirits accordingly per serving, the drinks are in that middle enjoyable variance. Not too strong yet not watered down.

Great experience here with the staff and the food was hot and delivered in a timely manner. Unlike our corpus christi experience which is now closed. Ordered hooters Platter was great but doesn't come with fries if you want them. Our guest ordered burger and chicken sandwiches said they were good also. Kiddos got to take picture with the hooter ladies and they were awesome in gathering to fulfill their requests. We will return.

Excellent spicy Bloody Mary... With bacon in it! Awesome. I ordered the "smoked" garlic habanero wings, but very little heat or smoke flavor. Kinda sweet tasting and not really what I was expecting, but might suit you fine.

Our waitress was nice but served our drinks and disappeared. I needed a glass of ice. My boyfriend went to the bar and was ignored. Moved closer to bartender and was still ignored. Came back to the table. A young lady cleaning the floors was nearby so I said “excuse me miss” she ignored me. I said it a little louder. She ignore me so I yelled “MISS!” and she looked at me with a bothered attitude. I told her I needed a glass of ice…without a word she proceeded to clean the floor before GOING to tell my waitress I needed a glass of ice….UNREAL! Ashamed the service quality has gone down so bad.

Not the best experience tonight, my server was doing the best she could, my issues were with the kitchen and management. The burger was dry, the boneless wings were over cooked and over sauced. The server did make a mistake taking the order, it was corrected but no attempt at any compensation besides removing the dish that was rang in incorrectly which should have been automatic. I've been in restaurant management, I always replaced the incorrect item and offered something above and beyond for the inconvenience of waiting for the refire. Overall, very underwhelmed with this visit and don't think my family will be returning to this location.

The atmosphere is nice. The food is OK. The service is sloooow. Last time I went I waited some 45 min for my food. I understand they are busy but 45 min is a bit much. I will not return for some time since the wait time is way too long especially when you are hungry.

Customer service was good. Place is clean. Food: oh well, I asked for wings extra crispy. The wings felt cold and were a bit gummy. Thw wings were far from crispy. My hubby enjoyed his shrimp. Girls are very polite.

Food was poor to average. Had to rerequest some items. It was expensive for the types of food and portions they offered. Service was not great but the server helped make up for it with her attitude. Beer selection is great. Coveted area where you can dine and smoke. Looked pretty clean.

Burger was awesome. Cooked just like I asked. Service wasn't very good. We had to wait almost 15 minutes between empty drinks. And it wasn't that busy. Then a UPS group showed up, and we were forgotten completely. We had to go to the front to get our bill 30min after we asked for it.

The bar tender was fenamenal she was on point. I ordered a double cheeseburger but honestly the size was disappointing. That size burger was for a toddler. We were also cut off from Drinking. Hostess was rude and not accommodating when we mentioned we had a toddler and wanted a high chair.once seated in a booth, we didn’t feel too comfortable and asked to be moved. I have been to many different Hooters locations and had great service and food. Unfortunately that experience has come to an end. This location has bad service Luke warm or cold fries and over priced beer. Well they do have to charge for the ambiance. The food is decent but not great. Also they round up the bill to the next dollar, apparently if over 50 cents or they did in my case. I dined there in March and contributed the service and food as growing pains. They forgot to grow and improve. Will take this place off of my places to dine.

Manager came and said that she can not serve shot as it is a policy to have 2 shots limit in 1 hour. If i knew i am treated like a child here I would never come to this place. Ruined my celebration. Food and service was good. But that incident just made me never go there again. Disrespect.

Took son out for finishing school. The waitress was friendly but service was poor ordered 50 wings and got 15. And the 1st thing we noticed was that every other wing was rancid.. Terrible experience. Server Gigi walks away and doesn’t get our order correctly or in full. Forgets something when she can easily write things down. Never apologized for anything and was quick to run off every single time not allowing the chance to say or ask for what was needed by the time she finally came to our table. So usually when I go to Hooters I never have any problems I love it, but this last time I went I had ordered a drink and me and my husband had ordered a appetizer I checked the time we literally waited 30 minutes I never got my appetizer I never got my drink the whole time we were waiting right before we decided to cancel for other tables got up and left the waitress was not very attentive the bartender at that never made my drink took forever to make my husband's drink along with all the other tables that she didn't make drinks that they were ordering. my husband and I even saw a guy get up from his table and go to the bar and he was struggling to get the bartender's attention just so she can make his. and that's because it wasn't even busy that day either I would expect if it was busy okay it's understandable but it was not busy.

Waited to be seated for 7 minutes because hostess was non existing, then finally was seated by a waitress. Then waited another 5 minutes for someone to even take our drink orders. Hooter girl at the bar was too busy flirting with what looked to be a manager to take care of her customers and our waitress was slow and not very good. Food was at best ok. I would not complain but it was early and could not have been more than 30 people there eating! This was my third try to eat here and my last, as my service was horrible each time.

I can't wait for yall to go out of business. Food always sucks cuz they rely on the tortas for presentation, rather on the quality of the meals.

Monday's all you can eat wings are great, if you don't mind waiting roughly around 20 to 25 minutes before receiving your 2nd order. Doesn't work well if you go during your lunch break. Waitress didn't write down our orders so the order arrived all jacked up. We were hungry & in a rush because we were in our lunch hour so we decided to settle for what we had and just eat. After eating, we requested our bill. On my bill, I noticed that I had also been charged for 2 of my friends. Problem was that they had also received their own bill. The waitress tried to explain why the ticket was correct, but she made no sense. I then asked the manager to assist me with the charge. He saw the error & sort of made the correction. I was still charged for a beverage even though I drank water. I had waited long enough for my order & had to leave so I just paid for it. I had an overall bad experience here & will most likely not return. Hopefully you don't have the same experience.

As a customer who travels all over Texas for work, I eat at different hooters around Texas at least 3 times a week, I normally sit at the bar since I’m in town alone for work. The bartender started off greeting me asking what I’d like to drink, then after she brought my drink about 10 minutes went by and I had to get her attention and ask for a food menu, another 10 minutes went by and she came back around and asked what I’d like to eat, in the middle of trying to order my food she kept trying to walk away even though I wasn’t finished ordering. It was a Monday night, around 9pm and the bar had maybe another 8 customers there, so not all that busy. The food was great, came out hot and tasted good, just had really crappy service.

Too bad I can't leave 0 stars. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon, plenty of tables available. However, hostess was MIA. There were two other parties also waiting to be seated and said they had already been waiting as well. I called store to see if anyone would pick up and i could ask for the hostesses. Line was picked up but nobody came on the line, they left it off the hook. Manager came out to bar, saw us waiting but did not offer to seat anyone, instead he retreated to the back somewhere because when I went to look for someone to help, no body was available. Been here before and everything was excellent. This time was different. My friend and I wait more than 15 mins for a server. Other customers after us were served in a timely manner. My guess is like 4 or 5 customers after us. They waited like 5 mins for a server and got their orders placed quick. Not going to curse or make a scene, I just wont come back here again.

Its very unfortunate that this restaurant keeps dropping in stars and their service is reflecting exactly that. The waitresses seem to focus more on pleasing tables full of men rather than families or couples. Waited over 20 mins to have someone take my order, and still no one ever came. Kindly walked up to the manager upfront and requested a waitress be assigned to our table and they still never came! My party decided to walk out as the waiting became ridiculous. As we walked out we notified the waitress signing in new customers. This waitress (blonde girl for manager review) wasn’t pleasant and just stated, “ok, I’ll let them know” which clearly does not solve the issue right there and then. As professional as we remained I honestly wanted to tell her they run the risk of losing business to upcoming wing restaurants in Harlingen. Clearly they wouldn’t care, as long as they keep getting their tips. However, I feel management should enforce better greeting and order times. The girls need to be on top of it as soon as new customers arrive. In the end we drove to McAllen Hooters. We’ll see how their service is. (This is my 1st review on google so you know this is legitimately unacceptable, I don’t just go around bad-mouthing restaurants, instead spreading knowledge. Good Day Reader)

Went a few weeks back for dinner service was not good. Waitress was not attentive and put in our order in separately. We paid with a gift at that time. Couple of days ago we went again to give it a shot well when it came to pay we told the waitress we were paying $17 on an giftcard. Well to our surprise we had a zero balance. Dumb waitress that had attended us few weeks prior decided to tip herself out $17. Wow that is so unethical and should be fired for that. I surely don’t recommend eating at that location.

Ordered buffalo shrimp, as an appetizer, it didn’t look cooked like in the picture, asked waitress for some ranch and she’s like we have to charge you for it. If you’re ordering the buffalo shrimp be ready to pay extra for the dipping sauces. Let’s just say management lady will not accommodate in any way. Told her to take the shrimp away. SMH unbelievable!! We got wings with mild sauce. The wings had hardly any sauce you could see the plain wing. The wing sauce tasted expired had a dull after taste. This place used to be good, unfortunately it’s gone down and the Manager hides in the back doesn’t even make an appearance to assist with the situation. Terrible Leadership!!! Harlingen Hooters train your staff to accommodate your patrons.

Don’t know how good the food is couldn’t even get seated. Three people looked at me, the manager even came to the receptionist both, stood there about 5-7 mins then turned and left. They didn’t even look up.

I just left the location, very upset with the type of service we received today. To start, I can stated assume that out waitress forgot about the beer I wanted, I had go to the bar to order it and when it came to pay, after waiting for 15minutes and she was no wear to be found I had to go to the hostess stand to pay. And to top off my stay I was over charge for the kids drink not one but 4 kids drinks. Never coming back her again.

Service was absolutely terrible. Bartenders eating at the bar and constantly on their phone. We placed an order to go and food was cold when we got home. (We live less than 5 minutes away). Stale fries, cold boneless nuggets, and steamed shrimp without butter. If it was busy I could understand but the place was nowhere near busy. Bartenders, manager, and wait staff seemed more eager to just chill and chat than actually work.

..Service bad today...nothing but bad experiences here. On my last visit I ordered food and wanted to wait for a beer to begin eating but the bartender was talking to others (there was one other customer). I'm assuming the people she was talking to were off duty employees since they came in and left without ordering anything. By the time the bartender came back to me, my food was cold. It's a shame the service is so awful since they have the best beer selection in town. Nothing but dissatisfaction here.

Horrible service, our server Karissa did little to nothing servicing our table. One person ordered an appetizer for their meal to eat with the others and stated to please bring it with all the regular food orders. Karissa brought the order out as an appetizer 15 minutes before all the other food came out. One person asked for no cheese on their sandwich, and then the sandwich came out with cheese melted on it. Karissa never asked how food was, never asked if drinks needed refills, never asked if we wanted dessert, never cleaned our empty plates off the table and on and on. Never thanked us for choosing to go there, spend our money there, which we will NEVER do again! If you read the other poor reviews here, they all center around poor service and bad waitresses. Then the owner sends the exact canned response to everyone with no effort to resolve anyone's issues, just the old "hope you give us another chance" response. Owners: please don't respond, we're not coming back and will tell as many friends and family to avoid this place and our experience.

I really enjoy hooters food usually but this location has really bad service and even the food is super inconsistent. Tonight both the buffalo shrimp and wings were literally cold. I don’t even understand how that happens, it’s like it had been sitting around. and they forgot the fries and then had to wait for a while, so was just a really bad experience over all. sucks cause I want to enjoy wings here but don’t think I can ever come back

Placed a to-go order that was suppose to be ready over 14 minutes ago. Host asked for my name and then walked off. Hasn't come back... Lack of customer service. (For an order that was placed 35 minutes before arrival) Wings were room temp by the time they came out. Stale croutons. Runny blue cheese dressing. Light on sauce for each of the wings. The celery was fresh and the buffalo hot honey boneless wings were really good.

The food is good but you have to wait hours to get it. The waitress did not come around to see what we needed nor to tell us how much longer it would be for the food to arrive.

Was there (Harlingen) tonight and it was the worse experience ever! Took forever for our order, even our drinks, we had to get waters before our alcoholic drinks, bartender seemed too busy yapping around. Orders were stacking on her and she didn’t seem to care a bit. Our food was super late, got the appetizer along with food and even then they forgot our fries! On the second round of beer I had to get up myself to get it from the bar- which took more than 10 minutes to fill. To make it worse, it was even a full house to say they were very busy.

I came in with my wife and we order burger/wings and our bartender Kassy flirted and talked more with the other men instead of paying attention to the 6 customers she had at the bar. My wife's burger was burnt at the ends, had no pickles and no mustard when my wife told her all she said was I'm sorry. She didn't seems sorry and how she can solve the problem. If I come back I don't want Kassy as our bartender/ server. She walked to the back awhile leaving the bar area unattended. So her customer service was not good. She needs to attend to all her customers equally.

Hey, what a terrible experience. So we get into Hooters and we’re seated. It’s just me and another person I ordered the sliders. I wanted to chicken and two beef no cheese on the beef. My friend ordered 10 roasted chicken wings. That was it. It wasn’t very busy maybe a total of eight tables. And we both ordered a beer to drink. So we ended up waiting almost an hour for our food and they just bring my food the sliders they’re cold. So I was at this point just like whatever but I noticed on the beef ones there’s cheese and I told her no cheese so I eat the chicken ones and I tell her and she said she’s going to put in another order for the two beef ones without cheese, and then she tells my friend after an hour of waiting that they don’t have any roasted wings in stock after he waited an hour. At this point he was like well we’re gonna be leaving soon, so I guess I’m not gonna order anything so we waited another 45 minutes for my two sliders which never came. They wouldn’t even comp us our beer for the two hour waiting. And we each had two beers. They acted like they were doing us a favor by removing the food from our ticket even though my friend didn’t get his, and I never got my beef sliders.

Horrible experience! The server, Karyme was unfriendly and rude!! She treated other customers better.. it seems she was being selective. And she doesn’t know how to smile.. I never got a refill on my drink.

They take forever to bring beer and soft drinks (the place is not even at capacity) McAllen already closed down ya’ll are next. The girls always seem to be in a bad mood and overall provide bad service.

Thursday, Dec. 5, 24. I walked in to Hooters and sat @ the bar with my husband and my daughter's girlfriend. And we order I order a burger/ American cheese w/ mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, n pickles and Kasay took our order. And my daughter's girlfriend order a burger w/ her toppings n c fries. And she gave us mustard on hers and Mayo on mine. She has no idea of customer service she was to busy flirting with other customers and on the phone. She's needs to be aware of her customers @ the bar she left n went to the back. Hooters needs to train the bartenders/ servers better. They take forever for the food to come out to you.

Online order: says ready at X time. I was on time arriving. I waited in the lobby. Standing. For exactly 30mins for my order to be ready. I ordered ahead of time so I wouldn't have to wait. Feels like they didn't start the order until I arrived. They're blaming the breaded wings taking longer. Still got it wrong. Food is typically good, service normally insulting.

This place sucks as. The waiters walk around like if they are at a funeral. The bartender never asked me if I needed anything. Never again. Ojos locos at Brownsville is way better.

Went this past saturday in the afternoon. The hostess wanted to seat us where she wanted when it was only 2 of us and other customers who were male came in that were a party of 2 as well were offered where they would like to sit. Thought that was weird. Took about 10 to 15 minutes to be attended to just put in our drinks.Then the bartender with the afro didnt know how to make a hooterade and apparently was new. Food came out first after about 35mins and our drink still had not came out. Mind you it was pretty dead our waitress was nice but still not a place I'd go to again.

Server kept ignoring our requests and would disappear most of the meal. It was impossible to get a side of ranch. Multiple employees kept bringing out the wrong order and all the drinks tasted like plastic.

Poor quality food on a Monday evening. You can eat better and at half of the price at a fast food restaurant!! We ordered shrimp and they were tasteless and all batter. They cost $12 for 12 and were Smaller than a quarter. The other plate we ordered, was also tasteless, was (3) tacos and they had very little meat and mostly cabbage. This establishment does not offer specials either. January 8, 2024: Another disappointment- we all ordered hamburgers and the meat was very “low grade beef!” I asked for extra onions and only got a very small ring. I asked for pickles and got one sliver a cm. Thick. I refuse to eat there again! However, the beer was good.

This place was the worst. From service to management. When talking to the manager he said u don't like it then leave after we paid and ordered. I asked him to bring us our drinks if his servers were too busy and he refused. As I spoke to him I was surrounded by his buddies who were at the bar. Let me tell u I am in a cast boot and this guy along with his buddies had no shame. I felt he should have helped his server if they were busy and we were a party of 8. 5 adults and 3 children. I reached out to the corporate and never received as much as a call back or email. I felt threatened to the point if I did not leave I may have picked up charges for the forthcoming actions. Never will I go back to this place in Harlingen and will be hoping it continues to be slow and closes down. From when I first started going in 2018 till now it has turned into a mess.
