I love Jimmy John's. Only complaint is price is just ridiculous. $20 for a 16" sub. Great sandwich but don't think worth price.
The sandwiches were delicious. The staff sucked. They didn't say hi or really acknowledge us at all. They both acted like they were mad about having to be there 5.28.22
Always swift service and the sandwiches are rather delightful. Although the customer service at this location is bad, they just hand you a sandwich without a bag and napkins and direct you to the end to self bag. Also while waiting to get my order one of the workers was sweeping the lobby around me, never once said excuse me.
We placed an order online and somehow the computer selected the sandwich without bread. After delivery we noticed the mistake and called the store about picking up a sub roll for the sandwich. The store immediately apologized for the mishap and sent us a new sandwich over immediately. Words can not describe the excellent customer service we received in fixing this mistake. This is what sets Jimmy Johns apart from their competitors. We want to give everyone at the store a commendation for the excellent customer service they provided us today. We will recommend this store to everyone we know
I ordered online. Received my food quickly! They forgot an item. I called and explained. The manager quickly sent it out and even included a cookie. Great job! Will order again.
I'm not a big fan of cold cuts but Jimmy John's is a different story. Quality is always good and the veggies are always fresh. On top of that, I really appreciate their fast delivery.
The online ordering app is very convenient and easy to use. I order online, choose my pickup time, show up, grab and go. It was so easy and fast. I must say that the "unwhich" is awesome for those of us not eating bread. The specials and discounts are an added bonus. Had it not been for those...I may have never tried Jimmy John's so I thank you for those. Keep up the good work and the fresh excellent made correctly, on time, yummy food. God bless y'all.
I love me some jimmy jams and their meats are my favorite, also their hot pepper mix. The bread can be a little tough but well worth it. However, last time i went i ordered an east jersey dirty night club and the cashier looked like i had asked her to empty the till in my shopping bag. I thought it was obvious i wanted and east coast Italian sub but apparently not.
I have been ordering from this location for several months and the deliveries are always fast. Drivers are kind and give a wave to make sure you get your order. This location has been operating during the pandemic with exceptional customer service and dedication to abiding by health protocols.
The food is always consistently good. I visited this location with a mobile order fairly late this evening. I asked for no ice in my drink and was greeted very well. The service is excellent, which equally matches the good sandwich.
The staff was some of the friendliest I’ve ever received at a Jimmy John’s. Of course they always have the best bread and freshest meats!
Okay so I’ve frequented this location 2-3 times a week for years as it’s right down the street from my work. It had a rough year (but what business hasn’t) Lynch was great but seems to not be working there anymore then i was informed he got promoted! And the new manager after him was another man (Brandon i believe) he seemed like he hated his job and never wanted to be at work. Even just sitting in lobby you could hear him loudly complaining about work/customers etc. if that were the end of my experience it would have been two stars maybe. BUT it’s not. The new manager Jennifer is amazing. We got to see here at the Broadway location when we went in for lunch after a day downtown. And she was amazing then. I’m so happy to see her at the store i frequent more! It’s definitely a good sign for the owners. Now when i come in, the staff is joking around, laughing, and overall seems to enjoy being there! And I truly believe it’s because of her bubbly personality and happy attitude. Love the improvements! And so happy to see that my favorite lynch spot is coming back into its positive atmosphere again! Can’t wait to work on Monday and get me some JJs for lunch!!!
Jennifer at this location is an absolute Angel!! She helped me when my order was experiencing difficulties via door dash app and was so nice about it! She made sure not only did I get my order but that she personally gave it to me!! We had a lovely chat and my food was amazing! She is the reason that this is now the only Jimmy John's I'll be going to in Lubbock!!
Definitely rating them 5 Stars mainly because of the best customer service experience ive ever had a very sweet lady named Promise. She was so fast with taking and making my order but not only that she was absolutely the best with talking to me and others .
Placed an order for a box meal with a Club Lulu and a lemon cookie. They were out of lemon cookies and they compensated with a cookie and brownie. Thank you for that. But I found a slice of cheese on my sandwich looked like provolone. Club Lulu does not have cheese on it and I don't like cheese on my sandwich. As much as I like Jimmy John's. I started to be very disappointed in them. I always order Club Lulu and have never got cheese on it. What happened?
You all were amazing today! 1. Ordering online was way easy for a very particular corporate banking group at lunch time. Tailoring the order was a cinch! 2. It was ready when I got there. 13 orders at 10:30- they were ready at 10:45. I walked in the door and could easily see where to pick it up. 3. Their online ordering asks for the name on each item ordered and the Jimmy John’s employees ACTUALLY WRITE THE NAMES on the specific sandwiches! The names are hand written- that takes extra time. ❤️ 4. So very friendly! 5. I got so many comments about the quality of ingredients. 6. Y’all made me look good. I got complemented by an executive because it was timely and it was all you. I made sure they knew it. Thank you so much!
The food was good but the attendants did not listen to us about our order we ordered 2 # 14 and one was to be light on onions and the other with mayo and yellow mustard and they added grey puppon and the music was a little loud that's what I think they didn't hear our order or they did not read the monitor completely other than that it was good. Today was my first time coming. I admit i am horrible for trying places for food because i hate buying something disliking it and feeling like i wasted money. Well someone left coupons at my work for free sandwiches. I have really been wanting to try you guys and with coupons i have nothing to lose. The staff was friendly and the sandwiches were yummy. My entire family loved them. I will definitely be back with out the coupons next time. Ty so much
Went here tonight for dinner (Aug 7th)and have been several other times. Solid Jimmy John's, fast, clean, generally good subs. Did have an issue in the past with an incorrect order in the drive thru, but they took care of it, even offered to deliver the correct sub. Employees are nice and friendly as well.
I love stopping by on my lunch breaks- they have a vegetarian option that’s pretty good for me. The only complaint I have is that half the time I use the drive through, the guys at the window are stoned out of their minds lol. No judgement, but it’s kind of awkward and a little weird to experience. A couple of the guys are really funny at the window though! I’ll keep coming despite the high dudes
This place is usually great, which is why I’m giving 4 stars. However, my most recent order for delivery was less than stellar. The food was delivered in a timely manner and was delicious. But the driver showed up with only one of our drinks and zero of our ranches. Also, the drinks were only filled up 3/4 of the way and were roughly 80% ice. I took 6 drinks and it was empty. Still satisfied overall and will return, though. But I am a bit thirsty.
Never had eaten at a Jimmy John’s but always wanted to give it a try. My chance came last week. The meat and the sandwich makings were very good. The bread was good, but it was tough. My wife said that it was supposed to be that way, but, personally, I don’t want to have to fight the bread in order to get a bite. Just a small matter of personal preference, I believe.
Generally I think myself as a Milo's sandwich fan, but this place is okay. The staff seem tired or just there to create sandwiches! The restroom is clean and got wonderful signs.
Morning shift has really gone downhill. Get your order right 40% of the time. If you’re looking to order here, wait until night shift. They are super sweet and get EVERYTHING RIGHT.
Wasn't bad but my friends hyped it up and it did not live up to the hype. I will try this place again and get a different type of sandwich but their subs suck. I got the fiery East coast Italian and was not impressed. My wife got the beach club and said she wasn't impressed to me they tasted very bland.
We placed our order at 6:29. We got our food at 6:46. There was only one car in front of us in the drive thru. We sat at the window for most of that time waiting on our food. The food is typical jimmy John's food, and it's good as usual. But this location seems to struggle with the speed. Not "super freaky fast" quality. And this is the norm. This is just the first time I have timed it and written a review.
A mixed review. Normally would not review a fast-food place but I eat here 2-3X per week. The food is consistent, and you can order (somewhat) healthy. The service is lacking but the people are nice. Don't look for freaky-fast service at this location between 11:30 am- 1:30 pm. They also ignore your online requests to cut the sandwich in half, include mustard, etc. (I know, it sounds petty, but eating a dry sandwich is torture). Delivery folks are nice. Overall-I will keep ordering from here until something better shows up...
I normally get cold sandwich but today decided to get a toasted one. I made the mistake of thinking the bread, cheese, and meat would be toasted then veggies and mayo added. Wrong!!! He was all heated together! Toasted veggies and mayo are not very appealing cooked into a gooey mush. It was so gross. Not only the taste but the texture. Not good at all. Js
They are getting slower everytime I go. They need to hire more people to keep up with the demand during peak hours. The employees that are working need to focus on the customers and not talk to friends or family while they are busy.
Went today and was very disappointed. Sat in drive thru for over 20 minutes, needless to say Freaky Fast did not exist. Then did not get what I ordered, drove off and it was an entirely wrong sandwich.
They really phone it in on the sandwiches that you order for delivery. Old sandwich meat, the very ends of tomatoes, old lettuce, and hard bread. You ask for napkins and packets of mayo and mustard: Nothing. You ask them to cut the sandwiches in half: Nope. They're not even that fast. You can order pizza and get it delivered faster than "Freaky Fast." Won't be ordering delivery from this sandwich shop again. There are too many other good choices in this part of town.
this is a small detail but it is worth mentioning. 3 different time I've ordered with the slide location, all 3 times have been a disappointment. when I pay for something like ranch I expect to get it. instead they sent 5 empty cups with with a whisper of ranch at the bottom of the cup. I called the store this time to ask what is gone on, and she replied we didn't prep any and haven't had time to make anymore. then the #1 TEXAS sin was committed...my believed to be sweet tea, was UNsweet. i understand things get busy guys but come on customer service is number 1. maybe this location is under staffed or mis-managed ?
I love Jimmy John's! But the reason I'm giving this review is because last night we ordered delivery to our new home. We had just gotten back from a super long road trip and I was craving a Turkey Tom. Our order got to us in 35 minutes which is a long time compared to the super fast delivery we normally recieve. But I've worked in service and wasn't too upset about it. When our food got here both my husbands and my sandwiches were made wrong. I recieved a ham sandwich drowning in mustard with pickles on it. Not the Turkey Tom with ez mustard and oregano like I asked for. It was just sad and disappointing. We will still order from Jimmy John's maybe just not from this location.
I ordered a #12 turkey, provolone and avacado and i added bacon which cost $2.00. When i got my order there was no bacon so i called them. They brought me one with bacon but it 3 little pieces of bacon for $2.00. Not only that but they gave me less turkey than what it comes with. Wow first and last time I'll ever irder from this place
The food was okay. Really what lost me was the fact that they don’t have ranch dressing as an available condiment and they only have provolone cheese. For some reason too the lady taking my order seemed annoyed that I didn’t know they wouldn’t have those things even though jimmy John’s is the only restaurant I’ve ever heard of that doesn’t have ranch. They technically have spicy ranch but it’s a side cup and it costs extra. Just not my kind of place.
Love JJ's food, but their delivery is always late. Sometimes very late, even if you order over an hour early. Not cool when you only have 30 minutes for lunch. And, if you need to call to check on an order, forget about it. No one answers the phone. However, their food is great, and the delivery folks are always very friendly. But seriously, when you bill yourself as "freaky fast," you gotta deliver on that. Thus the reason for the two star rating.
Don’t bother ordering in advance, they won’t start making it until you arrive regardless of how long you take to arrive. They almost never get my customized order correct. Whether I add extras or remove things from the sandwich it’s usually always wrong but you will still be charged for it.
More often than not, we have to make a call to Jimmy John’s asking where our order is or have them remake a sandwich after ordering from the mobile app. We like their product and WOULD like the convenience of having them so close by, but their service is severely lacking. Even when we go through the drive-thru, I end up going back inside because something is missing from the order. We would love the be loyal customers, but this location keeps breaking our hearts. We’ve received countless cookies thrown in the bag after a screw up, but it’s not much of a consolation especially after today when the man on the phone told us it was their rush hour, and that’s just what happens when we order dinner at 6:30. ::Noted. Never again then.:: We finally got our sandwiches 45 minutes later. (The delivery driver was cordial and wore a mask, so that was appreciated.) We just can’t do business with this store anymore.
Can’t ever seem to get an order right. Asked for no tomatoes, the sandwich came with no guacamole. Wanted it cut in half, also didn’t happen. Asked for oil and vinegar, surprise! No oil and vinegar. Happens just about every time. Sucks paying for a sandwich that didn’t come how you ordered it. Edit: couldn’t find a way to reply to Charles. Just wanted to say the sandwiches were still good and I appreciate the reply. Jimmy Johns has always been a favorite place of mine. Look forward to coming back for the good stuff.
Went there a month ago with some friends to grab and go. I’ve never been before but my friends have. We went through the drive thru and one friend had trouble saying a name and the worker made sure to correct us. I took A little bit of time to order since of course I’ve never been which didn’t go unnoticed by the employee. I did feel a little rushed and just ordered whatever my friend did to get it over with. When we finished ordering and had to pick up they took forever to come to the window so we had the opportunity to watch the inside from the window. We noticed that everyone who was handling the sandwiches didn’t have gloves on and they practically threw the order at us. They were in such a hurry that we didn’t get the proper services we wanted. I definitely wouldn’t come back to this location.
Sunday staff seem to be unable to read or just plain don’t care. This place is so hit or miss you get whiplash! Was always fantastic until a few Sundays ago , ordered two sandwiches and one without mayo. Well the no mayo sandwich was SOAKING in mayo. Said nope. Then 12/13/25 had a special $5.99 so decided to give another shot. Sandwich was absolutely as ordered with the extra beef paid for and no mayo. Today ordered two sandwiches and couldn’t eat mine immediately. Turns out they screwed up again, and the no mayo sandwich is full of it, and NOT with the extra beef I paid for. I had a $5 off 20 so that will cover the product I purchased and didn’t receive, but clearly they can’t be bothered to give a whoot about your order. I am DONE with Jimmy John’s and their poor customer service and inability to read.
First time at a Jimmy John's. They only have white bread in the sub roll. The wheat is only offered in a sandwich type bread. Our roll could have been fresher, we had the Italian and it was eatable, the turkey tom on wheat was nothing to write home about either. Jersey Mike's it a bit more expensive, but well worth it.
Awful. I ordered online in advance before arriving. There was only one car in the drive thru and I had my kid with me so I asked in the drive thru if I could pick up my online order through there. He said yes they had it ready pull around. After the car in front of me left I sat at the window for over 10 minutes and no one acknowledged me at all. FINALLY he comes to the window to ask if I had a sandwich that I didn’t order. I told him no I was the online order. He says “oh one sec” and walks over and grabs my order immediately. It has been ready that entire time… then the sandwich was AWFUL. 90% bread. Only the bites on the far inside of the sandwich had any meat in them. The rest was just bread and lettuce. The chicken had zero flavor. We will not be returning.
None of the workers had hairnets when handling our food. Our sandwiches had hair in them . No wonder subway is better.
This is the SLOWEST Jimmy Johns ever. I have ordered here three times and it has taken an hour for one sandwhich or longer, it doesn't matter what time of day or day it is. They're slow...When your commercial says your fast, be fast.
Manager is very rude. The sandwich was wrong, she said I have to ask for how I want it. I said I told them NO mayonnaise, no means I don't want it on there she said I am not even going to bother explaining and jerked the sandwich back. I was going to try to get sandwiches from here for an event but I will not ever come here again. The manager should be replaced!
Stick to Subway. Jimmy John's sandwiches aren't very good. They also have very poor customer service! They had no toilet paper in either restroom and did not seem to think that was a problem. I mean what kind of restaurant runs out of toilet paper. Poor management!
This location has become so slow. You sit in the drive through for nearly 15-20 minutes. Has happened twice. Tried to give it a second change but no longer have time for it.
Just went up there around 7:25ish some girl with red hair and booger green claws was extremely rude. I was trying to ask her if the #12 was a combo cause I figured it was but all I got was a sandwich. She just gave me a hateful look and stared. If I acted like that at my job I wouldn't be there long. Send her on her way 👉 Be nice to get a meal without a side of immature unprofessional stank attitude.
Had to wait for approximately 20 minutes in drive thru even though I had ordered ahead online. The service was bothered that it was an online order. The bread was hard and didnt put hardly any meat in it.
I went to the drive thru at this location and waited for about 30 min with only two cars in front of me. When I got to the window I asked if they were busy and if that's why it took so long, and the big white lady freaked out on me! She made insulting remarks on my race and appearance and asked why I came thru jjs of I was in such a hurry? I asked to speak to a manager or anyone else but she said she was the manager. I don't think jjs is the place for me anymore.
Terrible customer service. I hate spending money where they don’t appreciate my money!!! Employees just not nice. Also, they plopped my $30.00 on the counter and told me I could pick it up. No sack for my order. Absolutely positively no eye contact with me during my visit. !!!NOT GOING BACK THERE!!! The owners response seems to be cookie cut for the unhappy customers. I noticed in the bad reviews the owner doesn’t offer to make things right with the customer. Here’s an idea...HIRE PEOPLE THAT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS AND THEIR JOB.
One hour and 4 minute delivery. Called to check on my order and all was said was sorry there’s two deliveries before you. My UnSandwich fell apart and was hot when I got it.
I've never personally eaten there, but management might want to let the drivers know, that even tho you guys praise yourselfs on the speed of delivery, that turning to go into the parking lot in front of a car going 40-45 mph is not a very smart idea. Just a thought.
Sandwich is ALWAYS dry!! Horrible customer service, no communication. Order said delivered and never got it! Sitting right in the store. When I CALLED BACK I was informed!! COULD'VE TOLD ME THE FIRST TIME I CALLED. Owner/managers are just as bad. Don't waste your money or time!!
Was there on a Saturday around 11:30a.m. Not busy at all,tables were sticky and dirty.The sandwich I ordered was awful! So bland and flavorless, the tomatoes on it were Roma tomatoes not good on sandwiches. Even the turkey tasted horrible!.I only gave 1 star for the person who took our order
I can’t have dairy. I ordered no cheese or mayo on my sandwich and ended up with both. Not to mention the sandwich was dripping wet, and none of the employees in the store were wearing masks. Check your orders before you leave.
This was my first time going to Jimmy Johns and I won’t return. The sandwich was ok but the service was awful. The person taking our order was friendly but another person brought our food to us and was super rude. She handed the bag to us through the drive thru window and rudely said, “here you go” and turned around and walked away. There was no ‘Thank you’, no ‘Have a nice evening’ nothing but cold sandwiches handed to us with a Here you go! I called and spoke to the Manager and it turns out that she was the one that was rude to us. Her excuse was that she didn’t have time to be kind because she was short handed. We were the only car in the drive thru and there were a handful of customers inside. It takes less that 1 minute to say thank you!
Recently have been ordering online, took a whole hour to get my order and when I called the “manager” said she called but didn’t get no calls, when I order all the time! order was messed up and just got an attitude from the “manager” when I tried to get it corrected. Waste of my time to even call, if she was gonna be rude to begin with.
Absolutely the worst Jimmy johnw location ever hands down a absolute 0 they hire the slowest careless rudest non working people they can find this location is a JOKE freaky fast is a joke slowest place ever for a sandwich at that dont go here unless your just desperate.
Got the order wrong TWICE. Figured accidents happen so just asked that it remade. but the second time it was the same mistakes but with half as much meat. They also forgot the added pickle and mayo. I wouldn't mind a slower delivery if they could pay attention to what they are doing! Poor delivery guy had to make 3 trips and still I'm left with what I don't want. I wont be ordering from here again.
Food is excellent. But literally no one in the store, im only one in drive thru, and it takes 17 min to make 2 small sandwiches. With 4 employees! Wouldnt care, but their slogan is Fast and Fresh ?!?
Used to like Jimmy John’s. The employees at the slide location are the worst. I ordered 3 sandwiches tonight. All 3 were wrong. Got the chips and cookie right. Good job, I guess. Also the little dude with the arm tattoo just stared at me through the window while I was waiting to tell them I placed an order online. A few minutes of this and I was finally greeted at the speaker. Then, after even more of a wait, all 3 sandwiches were not made even close to what I had specified through the app. THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME THIS LOCATION HAS BEEN HORRIBLE. I will never eat at a franchise owned by this group ever again. They clearly do not care about customer experience. Plenty of other sandwich shops to spend your money at. I do not and will not recommend buying from here.
I went to pick my girlfriend a meal. They had some new firecracker meal or something. Not only did they completely mess up my order, I showed them the picture of everything that comes with it to verify thats what I was ordering. They confirmed it was very rudely. I went inside and told them it was wrong and they acted like I was in the wrong. Save your time and go somewhere where the appreciate your business.
I am a college student and don’t have much money to be spending on food. So when I do, I hope I have a good experience. Unfortunately, I visited Jimmy Johns today and didn’t have that experience. First off, the greeting was really bad when I was entering with my bf, it had just hit 10:02 am and looked like the workers didn’t want to be there. When I was paying for the food ($22) the guy at the register had no good customer service what so ever, we had added an extra drink and asked him if he could remove it ( we said it was our bad), he didn’t even respond back and kept quiet with an attitudes as we paid… it was our first time ever getting Jimmy Johns and our last.. we didn’t know where to get our sandwhich or if it was going to take time, so we waited 10 min before a female said “your sandwhich has just been sitting there on the pickup side” with an attitude. Also, they never told us it was ready before the lady told us that. Besides the terrible customer service I don’t understand why the health department hasn’t corrected the personal cleanliness. No one was wearing hair nets nor beard nets. My boyfriend and I had to leave we didn’t know why we received that service, and for moment felt racially discriminated because we are Hispanic. Please please provide appropriate training for these employees for great experience and a review on the health department requirements. Thank you.
Went through the drive thru and waited 30 minutes for two sandwiches, wasn’t a big deal I know it was a lunch rush. Looked at my receipt after I got the food and noticed they charged me for an extra combo, so an extra $10. I called to make sure it was a mistake and how can I get it fixed and the lady on the phone was pretty rude about it and trying to discredit the fact that I got charged extra and then just said “well you have to come in and get it fixed” and hung up. I went in a minute later and waited in line after already waiting 30 minutes for my food. And she acted like I was a bit of an inconvenience. Ma’am I didn’t make the mistake and we can’t afford to spend an extra $10 on lunch in this economy :/
Ordered two sandwiches at 1:32PM. Waited till 2:00PM to call since the order still said received and not out for delivery yet. When we called the employee said they were just waiting on the delivery driver. We then waited till 2:30PM and called again and were notified that it was on the way. It then showed up a couple min later. This is because we live 3 minutes from the store we ordered at. All of that said the hour we waited for two sandwiches wouldn't be that big of a deal but when it finally got here, one of the sandwiches was completely wrong. Needless to say the whole experience was annoying and definitely not “freaky fast”.
This location is absolutely incapable of making an order correctly. I ordered in the drive thru, made a point of saying wheat bread, it's not. This is an issue every single time. Once, I didn't even get bread at all! I'm so frustrated with this location that I look forward to my job sending me to Amarillo every couple of months JUST SO I CAN GO TO JIMMY JOHN'S UP THERE! And the wait in drive is incredibly long for the number of people on line compared to the number of cars in the lot/line. All to get a wing order... again.
I love Jimmy John's and we order for delivery quite frequently from home as well as from my office. Yesterday I called to place an order and was told my office was blocked from delivery with no explanation which I don't understand as we had several individuals get deliveries from yall through out the week. I get a 30 min lunch so delivery is always alot more convenient then having to use most of my lunch to pick up. This is very disappointing
Employees need to be at least a little polite instead of just standing in front of the register staring and not saying 1 word. WTH! And why is it always freaking freezing in here. As for your reply, why isn’t the local owner already reading these reviews? Why should I have to send my review somewhere else? After reading a lot of the other reviews it appears that the owner is as apathetic as the employees. Makes absolutely no sense.
I ordered double turkey, and they gave me no turkey? Glad I spent the money to have it wrong. Wouldn’t be that big of a deal but it wasn’t the first time this has happened. I get it was later but man it cost zero dollars to pay more attention. I’ll keep coming and I’ll make sure to update if I have any more issues.
This is the only Jimmy John’s I’ve had that was bad. Bread was stale and meat and cheese were bad. It tasted off and so I didn’t finish it, but it made me sick. My friend that lives in Lubbock said he had a similar experience at this Jimmy John’s location. I do not recommend this Jimmy John’s for food safety concerns.
I ordered a sandwich to be delivered at my office which is like 7 minutes from their location. After 30 minutes I called them. They were rude on the phone and said the guy was on his way. 10 mins later they were not there yet. So, I called and canceled my order. Yeah they make sandwiches fast. But unless I am there watching them make the sandwich they intentionally screw it up because I complained before. They know who I am and have retaliated due to me making a complaint against them and their inability to get it right. One time I ordered 6 sandwiches and because they know where I work and what sandwich I order. Therefore; they intentionally screwed up my sandwich. They have done this over and over again. So, unfortunately due to their extremely poor customer service I will no longer be going there. Yeah food is good but the retaliation is pitiful. So, please don't go anymore as it only rewards them for being mean and poor customer service and not able to take complaints without the retaliation to their customers. Good riddance!!!!
Looked at us crazy when we told them we were missing a whole meal, but they got that taken care of. Sweet tea was bad. Incorrect order when we got home.
I am NOT a happy customer. My first order was not right. They shorted me food, so I called and the manager said they would give me credit so I went back. I waited in the drive thru for about 30-40 minutes. They were rude and made me feel like I was a burden and, surprise, they still didn't get my order right. I will not go back.
Seriously the slowest place ever. Even when they aren’t busy. Staff snacks and drinks while working. Once they were all eating Bahama Bucks snocones. I just don’t understand how this place has such terrible, slow service. What happened to “freaky fast”??? This Jimmy Johns ain’t it!!!! Nobody should have to wait 20+ minutes for a dang sandwich.
Manager ( female) was very rude! Was doing a service call to the restaurant at or just near lunch rush - 3 compartment sink clog, 1) - when I arrived right off the bat as I approached the back of the building where they clean out is the woman open the back door and announce that I had to move my van, apologizing I did so. 2)- After that I walked in the store threw the front and approached the counter access to the kitchen area stating " ok " I was ready to begin the plumbing investigation in a usual pleasant Manor noticing that despite the fact that I was there to unclog a 3 compartment sink and that the floor drains where ( as we were instructed) all clogged - yet none where holding or showed visible signs that they had been, so I was momentarily at a loss to understand the issue with a rather puzzled expression on my face and seen to be ignored. I indicated the need to speak to a manager. At which time the manager ( who was at the front sandwich making area ) turned to me at this time and said that we were going to behave like adults in the store and not like a five-year-old child? ( To be honest ) it took a minute to realize that she was talkin to directly to me, since the comment came out of no where and completely unprovoked? However I let the comment pass without response and indicated what my orders were there to do, to which she ignoring me and another employee ( standing beside her ) stated the plumbing issue they were having, that it was the same issue they had experienced prior ( I think ) a week or so about, though it took a moment to understand this from the guy, all the while the woman never spoke to me nor where there visible signs of a plumbing issue, I then asked politely if I could go to the back and out to the cleanouts ( since many restaurants back doors have security alarms that go off if opened and staff members said I could do so. At the clean out I easily determine the issue was there at which time several of the staff indicated to me that I could not block there drive threw with either my equipment or van, which given the location of the store was to do anyway, rather in a rude manner. However I let their behavior pass, I completed the service call which was found to be staff error by putting rubber gloves down drain clogging the drain from the floor drain to grease trap as before at an earlier visit as I earlier stated. I put up my equipment and wrote my invoice, indicated what I found and that the issue was resolved to another member of the management staff identity unknown ( male ) who was very pleasant and professional. Upon getting back into my service van I contacted our secretary and told her of the incident as dictated in our policy. The secretary indicated at that time that she ( herself ) had - had earlier issues with the female herself over the phone with equal rudeness and and unprofessionalism... Strange part is this is the only incident I've ever had of this nature ever in all the service calls we've gotten for jimmy johns like this, the earlier service call I done there was before the store opened and the female manager was the only one there, at that time she was very nice and knowledgeable and helpful, we joked around ( verbally - briefly ) was in and out quickly, so I was very shocked to have had that level of interaction. It should be noted many in the plumbing field would have reacted much more strongly would've been them, resulting in the cancellation of the service call, observing the right to refuse order we can impose should an environment be at that level of unprofessionalism. I am a 50 year licensed plumber with over a decade of experience, we deal with the most vile plumbing situations imaginable at times, our directive ( as stated by the plumbing board of Texas ) is to provide sanitary water and drainage to commercial or residential dwellings in a professional manner taking years of experience knowledge and personal money to even achieve our state issue licenses which we have to make a personal trip to the capital in Austin Texas, take 3 forms of test to achieve..
I would just recommend any other place because of the service and time
It's sad when you ask the manager that's working there to look at your order cuz it's not right and basically rolls her eyes and tells you it's done right. Never again, I'll only go to Jersey Mike's from now on. So you lost your business because my order wasn't done right and your manager would not accommodate to resolve it didn't want my money back just wanted my order done right. Rolling your eyes is not fixing my order if the owner wishes to contact me I'd be glad to share my opinion with you directly thanks!
Just Don't. They have messed up on our orders more than once. Our bad for ordering again hoping it would be different. On this last order, they missed half the items on the sandwiches. We called to discuss and they originally offer to remake it - we said ok, great. They then immediately changed their offer and claimed they only had 1 delivery person who couldn't come back to our house. What?! He sure got here "freaky fast" when we paid for the incorrect order. They would not refund our credit card but offered a small credit but to get said credit you have to jump through hoops to redeem it. We will look for a better sandwich shop.
I just have to give this review pertaining to the female manager Jennifer. I have always loved Jimmy Johns but will never visit this location again. The manager was very rude and obnoxious! I asked for bag for my food and she told me to bag my own sandwich’s. What ever happened to good old fashioned service with a smile? Sorry, Jimmy Johns you’ve lost a customer. I’ll spend my money elsewhere!
I have been going to this location for years. But, after the way I was treated today, I will not be back! The manager was extremely rude! I had been waiting at the drive up window for over ten minutes when a bag was set by the window. I assumed it was my order so I waited patiently for another 4-5 minutes. No one came to the window. I decided to honk my horn to get someone’s attention. That’s when the manger said “I’ll handle this!” I could read her lips. She came to the window and asked if she could help me. I said is that my order by the window. That’s when she went off on me saying “NO! I AM WORKING ON YOURS AND NOW ITS GONNA TAKE LONGER CAUSE I HAVE TO CHANGE MY GLOVES!” Then she slammed the window shut and walked off. As I sat there watching her through the window, I could tell she was telling all her employees what a jerk I was! Well, as you can imagine, I was extremely surprised and didn’t know what to say. It took another 5-10 minutes to finally get my order. I think over 20 minutes in the drive through is a little long. What happened to “Freaky Fast?” I will not be back!
The employees should wear name tags, the older lady with tatoos and short dreads has the worst customer service skills. I understand you have to be there cause its work, but dont relay that body language to the customer. An opportunity to get better for sure.
We’ve been ordering from this location for over 4 years now. We’ve always been treated with respect and kindness, even when things were slow or incorrect. Tonight was the first time we’ve ever been treated like absolute trash. The female manager was so rude in the drive-through, we will NOT be ordering here ever again. I don’t know her name, but she has purple/pink hair and a lip ring. We’ve submitted a complaint to the website with all the details.
I ordered our food 30 mins before arriving and when I got there I still waited for more than 20 mins for my food. People in here are super rude. Talking on their personal phones while having gloves and making orders. Also watched one girl come in clock in and then without washing her hands she wiped her nose and then went to the line to start making food. I usually come here because I love jimmy John’s but jeez this was absolutely disgusting to watch and endure. DO BETTER JIMMY JOHNS!
This is the most rude and Ridiculous service we have ever received at a Jimmy John’s. Wanted just a toasted turkey sandwich, would not toast a regular so had to get a country club and remove ham. It came out with 2 slices of turkey. Reordered paid again and was charged extra for “more turkey” rather than just substitute. Workers are rude as heck don’t go to this one!
Hadn’t been there forever so I wanted to test it out, extremely sad with how my sandwich came out. It was absolutely disgusting and they didn’t even make the sandwich right. Not sure why they started toasting cuz it was a horrible soggy semi warm mess. Prolly not going to this location again sadly.
My first time trying Jimmy John’s on my lunch break ordered a toasted roast beef and cheddar with no onions or horse radish. Went thru the drive thru the sweet girl at the drive thru stated the system was down provide my sandwiches to me I check and there was onions and horse radish I parked went inside and kindly informed them that it had horse radish and onions the lady at the drive thru informed the lady making the sandwich (Sammy) than Sammy asked rudely”was it on the receipt” i than showed her it was she opened the sandwich and said there is no onions or horse radish i informed her there was the crisp onions were on the sandwich she slammed the sandwich into the trash beside her I asked what was her name she said “im going to fix it “ i said I understand that but u are very rude I would like to speak to a manager and she stated she was the manager I asked for a corporate number and she said to google it as my first time there im very disappointed the type of customer service I was provide especially from the “manager”
Spent almost half our lunch break waiting on our order. Two of the five staff present made sandwiches for online and delivery orders while we waited nearly 20 mins for our dine in order. Received our order missing items and with one sandwich order completely incorrect. Staff kindly offered to remake the sandwich that was incorrect and provided the missing item. Then we waited another 10 or so minutes while they continued to make delivery and online orders before making our replacement sandwich. The replacement sandwich was also incorrect.
If I could give this rating a 0, I would. This was my first time going to a Jimmy Johns. The service was absolutely horrible, we were waiting for 30 plus minutes for three sandwiches. Which i should add two of them were wrong, and thd other one was burnt. The workers had no hustle as they were also doing the drive through orders and a catering order. At least two of them were high as a kite, which is so unprofessional, you can tell the workers don't care, and the manager was doing all the work, and she was highly pregnant while doing so, like she's such a baddie for that but the rest of them? No. I am sure the other Jimmy johns are better but this one was highly unprofessional. And my friend is an avid Jimmy Johns goer since she was 7, and she told me this was the worst experience she has ever had in her near 25 years of life. Please like and subscribe for my review.
I usually frequent the 114th and quaker location but was near the mall today at lunch so I chose to place an order here and sadly, I wasn't acknowledged at all. There were 2 people on staff with one guest inside and 1 in drive thru. Once the customer inside was given their food, I waited a solid 5 minutes and still wasn't acknowledged or told I'd be gotten to soon. After this I decided to drive across town to my normal location where I was given prompt service and an swesome sandwich. I won't be coming back to this location.
Don’t order from here! I ordered my food around one and my food was never delivered to my house. Called the store and they said “oh our driver got back up I guess “ they don’t care. And the better give me my money back! Two business days my ass!
Ordered lunch in drive-through. Spent almost $30 for 2 combos. Would've been fine if food was good, but it was skimpy and found only ONE strip of bacon in my BLT. Then not only did they take FOREVER, but 3 different employees asked what I had ordered, then only a few cubes of ice in our drinks, wrong chips. Plain and simple, just horrible experience! Not going back.
I have been a very loyal customer for several years but this will be the last straw. I have tried to remain loyal to the new ownership but the new standards do not work for me. My last several sandwiches have not been properly prepared, missing items, poorly cut, not evenly made (as in one side had meat the other side did not), plus a new price increase. I'm done.
