I haven't eaten here since I was knee high to a grasshopper so over 20 years and this visit reminded me the experience as a child and it was amazing the service the atmosphere all of it. And I would like to personally my 2 servers Kendra and G.M Linda where phenomenal in keeping the service top tier.

To me, the steaks are so much better than the two other steak restaurants in Lufkin. The are seasoned to the point of not needing steak sauce or additional seasonings. Once, my steak was not cooked to my requested preference, they took it back and brought me one back that was. I just wish they wouldn't have gotten rid of the peanuts!!!

The food was great, the atmosphere was comfortable and fun, but what really made our night was our waitress, Macy. She was so sweet, bubbly, and energetic — the kind of person who lights up the whole room. She was also incredibly attentive and had the perfect sense of humor. My husband loves to joke around with the waitstaff, and Macy jumped right in and played along, which made the experience even better. After such a long week, she truly turned our night around and made our dinner something special. Thank you, Macy, for your amazing energy and kindness — you’re the reason we’ll definitely be back!

I've been coming to Logan's since it opened here in Lufkin. It's been a little while since I've dined here. The food is still awesome!! The service was extra special since we had Ms. Zena as our waitress. She was simply a delight and took excellent care of us. She knows that menu backwards and forwards. The Beer Battered Fish is wonderful and so is the shrimp. Service was good and very nice atmosphere and prices are fair, we will be back soon.

The food was superb, as was the service!! The waiter was very attentive!! I wish I remembered his name. The only problem I had was in the restroom. Trying to get the toilet paper off the roll. It wasn't the toilet paper itself I believe it was the roller the toilet paper was on. It just wouldn't roll were I could tear the toilet paper off easily. Paper kept coming off in pieces. It was so darn annoying. My daughter said she had a problem with hers in another stall. Other than that man my mom, daughter and I got full on some great tasting food!! We had an awesome time!! I chose the salmon and shrimp(5) over a bed of mashed potatoes and a spinach sauce over it...I didn't like to much the sides,the rice and corn lacked of flavor,but the salmon,mashed potatoes and shrimp were very good with that sauce..they had a very good flavor,the price was almost 20!!! In my point of view the meals are a little expensive. It took a while to bring the food. For the kids the size of the meals is good.

Food was good, service slow. Waitress was very good. Have not been lately, no more peanuts to eat while waiting. Had fried chicken tenders and mesquite grilled chicken. Free rolls for appetizers, all good. The rice was sticky and salty, don’t recommend. Loaded sweet potato was good.

Heaven was my waitress today. She kept up with filling my drink and continued checking for any needs. My steak was a bit more fatty than expected, but not enough to warrant a complaint. Other than that it was a great visit.

The food was alright, no major complaints, just not very well seasoned. Food was relatively flavorless. Fried mushrooms for appetizer, they tasted borderline overcooked, batter was flavorless. Grilled chicken sandwich was made well, chicken was juicy, but lacked flavor. Grilled chicken salad was generous portions, but chopped grilled chicken was dry. Generic meal, generic taste. Service was good, restaurant clean.

The ribeye steak sandwich, however, came out nearly raw. We sent it back but we were done eating by the time it came back. We took it to go.

We went here because we were gifted a $25 gift card and needed to use it. The best thing we had is definitely their rolls, they cook them perfectly to be super soft and they were extremely fresh/hot each of the three times we got refills (only got 1 per person each time). We got the meatloaf and chopped beef meals off of the $8.99 menu with fries, cinnamon apples, corn, & mac n cheese (cost extra) as our sides. We also ordered mozzarella sticks as our appetizer but didn't receive them until after our food was brought out and we asked about it. We ordered a tropical tea and a watermelon margarita in addition to our drinks and both of those were pretty good but were weak in my opinion. Overall we were okay with everything but with everything being under seasoned and kind of similar to a frozen tv dinner plus it coming out to a little more than $50... we decided we would rather go to Texas Roadhouse in the future instead.

Do not, I repeat so NOT get the Roadies. The meat on those sandwiches looks like the part that fell off a real Burger on the grill. A huge bun with a tiny little gulp of meat on. The service was excellent and the employees were quick to offer a replacement. I would recommend almost any other meal, but do not get the Roadies.

Our server was very friendly. But the food was below expectations. Why ask how I want my burger cooked and what cheese I want? I asked for a MEDIUM burger with Cheddar cheese. I got a WELL done dry burger with american cheese. Putting a blue medium flag on the burger does not make it Medium. As for the noise, the "music" was too loud to have a conversation with the people at our table. Disappointing.

After some confusion on where to seat us , our server was quick to the table, and drinks and yummy hot rolls were severed shortly after. Our order took a very long time to come out, and the steaks were dry. Salads were fresh and crispy.

Wait staff was Pleasant. But, the ribs were dry and nun—consumable the roles were nearly raw and chewable. The restaurant was as filthy as a tire shop public bathroom. The young lady that seated us said they were short-staffed I assume the manager is not coming to work.

We LOVE (Lufkin, TX) Logan’s normally, however, the last two times we have gone there we’ve had to seek out someone to seat us. Both times, the host was toward the back in a booth chatting with another employee. Today ELEVEN people were waiting to be seated. It was 2:00pm so definitely an “off” time, but we shouldn’t have to find someone to seat us no matter what time of day we arrive. Again, they were hanging out in a booth with other employees. Additionally, today, our rolls were floating in butter. Normally we love our Lufkin Logan’s but it has definitely gone downhill. Might have to try the new Texas Roadhouse. Disappointing.

Ordered prime rib they brought me a burnt end piece that was way overcooked. When I asked about it not being medium rare ( as prime rib should be ) they took it back 15 minutes later bringing me the other end piece. Slightly less burnt but still very much overcooked. I finally just gave up

Steak was ok, mainly sous vide with light searing and a super tiny hint of mesquite smoke. Prices wasn't bad but I was still expecting a better steak. It was a Friday and it was quite busy. Took about 10 minutes to get seated. Waitress was quick and took our orders. Wasn't long before we got our food. Over all I would come back here again if I can't find somewhere better. Edit. Second time here this time I ordered the porterhouse medium rare it's supposed to be a 22 oz but it looked more like a 16 oz same issue as the other looks like it was just sous vide and tossed on the grill for maybe a minute or two taste was good fat was good only issue was it wasn't seared enough. Edit three this is my third time here and I got a ribeye medium rare once again it comes back as if it was only sous vide and then toss on the grill for maybe 10 seconds there is no charring there's no searing The steak is just boiled I went ahead and dropped the rating down to a two star this place will be a roadhouse known for steaks I'm pretty sure you can get a better steak at the Chili's next door they really need to get someone that can cook a steak just come on That's what you're supposed to be good at.

Stopped on the way home and was there over an hour when we decided to leave. We walked in and was seated immediately. Waitress came and took drink order in reasonable time. After we got drinks we thought maybe she went home because we couldn't find her. Finally I asked another worker if there was any way we could order. She said I'll get your waitress. When the waitress would show up she always forgot everything we had told her before. After about an hour and 15 minute wait we wasn't sure the ticket was ever turned in. So, we decided to leave. The manager was nice when we left and apologized. I told him I would eat at Logan's again but couldn't be there over 2 hours just to eat. While we were there they brought a hot glass of tea and said they ran out of ice. The restrooms were nasty. Zena was our waitress. Might have been just a bad day but she was totally confused.

Plenty of cold food, when served. Tasted as if it were frozen, thawed, and then served like warm. I am tired of paying the prices of food that has gone way up, only to be served like warm heated, frozen foods. Will not be back

Been a regular here. Those 2 tables of high cholesterol must have pre-tipped because I just never got asked what I wanted to order. This place is never busy and I always wondered why because the food is decent. Now I know. I don't think I ever walked out of a place so thanks for popping that cherry.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Server (name was Ashton if I’m correct.) Greeted us and then completely ignored us and I mean completely. It took the manager coming over and giving us the food we waited 45 mins for, for him to even come back up to us and try and help???? What kind of service is that??? The restaurant was almost completely empty too so it wasn’t like he was busy at all. Food was ok, they got my father’s order wrong but he was just so sick of waiting 45 mins for a simple burger to even try and fix it. Thank you to the nice lady that gave us our food and tried to help us because our server clearly doesn’t know how to server.

Ordered medium steak. After about 30 min finally got it. Turned out to be gray all the way through with hairline pink in the middle, returned it and the manager came up and said that’s what medium is up here and suggested we get medium rare instead. Another 25 min later finally got our second steak. Ate the first half which was medium (not med rare) and this was the second half of it. On a ordered medium rare steak.... never again.

We arrived before 5 pm on Friday so to beat the crowd. Our waiter was attentive but slow with service and the food took forever to come out. The food was not worth the time it took to get to us. Two of us ordered the chopped steak meal as we have many times. We were so disappointed to see they had changed from a real chopped hamburger steak to some preformed patty that tasted like Salisbury steak from the grocery freezer section. It was rubbery and super salty. The salads when they finally came out after asking where they were, were not fresh and had been made up for quite a while sitting in a fridge. What used to be our favorite place for girls night out will no longer be. Logan's do better! You have lost long time customers on this visit.

Just visited this place for the first time. Ribs were tough and did not look anything like what is pictured on the menu and on the board that is outside the restaurant. They were 2 hunks of meat. Ribs are flat but these were like a circle in width. This place was empty compared to Texas Roadhouse and my husband and I regret not choosing Texas Roadhouse (they were packed across the street) because the food here lacked quality (the rolls were the only good thing). The drinks were pictured really good but didn't taste any alcohol at all. I asked for sweet potato fries and my plate was bought with waffle fries on it. I was then told they only had waffle fries which were bland. The only positive thing was the employees that were friendly who worked there. I wouldn't recommend.

Slow food (30min), rolls are horrible, portions are not good size for price, steaks are quick char then oven warmed, potato soup is like a greasy potato dip. Sticky tables. Server was the best part of this experience.

Don't get the salmon they claim cut fresh daily but it had the taste of penny no seasoning on green beans witch is sad because green beans are easily seasoned was suppose to have a cream sauce on the salmon instead there was a cup of frothy oil yuck 🤢 ribs have no meat on them I could share a pic of them rolls were good salad small Logan's has turned into an over priced mediocre establishment won't be back unfortunately I did send my plate of salmon back and just ate my salad and onion rings

I would not recommend this restaurant. Hostess was not friendly. My takeout order was disgusting (bake sweet Potatoe) was burned !!! I contacted the manager she compensated a small percentage amount.

I found the entirety of the restaurant is lacking for a simple fact of they had our waitress all over the place not a designated area stretched very thin and not able to focus on her services as needed. The food was inadequate, but the waitress did have potential I would not ever recommend Logan‘s steakhouse to anybody who wants a good meal by far. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been in and will not be eating there ever again.

Went at 4. Wednesday. NY strip was so salty meranade that I felt sick when I left. Corn was dried out like it had been sitting warming all day. Service fine. Spent 140 with tip for 2 rib eye 1 ny strip and 6 Oz sirloin. Robbery. I would had rather gone elsewhere. Crossing off my list, again. Tired of giggling workers and bad food.

Disappointing Steak and Bland Flavors I recently dined at Logan's Roadhouse and was thoroughly disappointed with my meal. I ordered a ribeye steak, hoping for a flavorful and juicy experience. However, what arrived was far from appetizing. The steak had a weird grey color on the outside, and the meat itself was off-color as well. It was utterly flavorless and tasted as if it had been boiled before being quickly charred for the appearance of being grilled. There was no discernible seasoning, and the overall taste was incredibly bland. I couldn't believe how terrible the steak was. To make matters worse, it was so tough that I wore my jaw out trying to chew it. The only redeeming quality of my visit was the waiter, who provided excellent service throughout the meal. He was attentive, friendly, and ensured that my needs were met. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the food overshadowed the waiter's efforts. I would not recommend Logan's Roadhouse based on my experience. The lack of flavor and seasoning in the steak, combined with the strange color and tough texture, made for a very unpleasant meal. I hope the restaurant will take steps to improve the quality of its food in the future.

Highly disappointed in the service and food. My friend order the beef steak smothered in gravy. I ordered mine to go. The salad she received and steak was plated so horribly. Her steak was over cooked and burnt. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location. Oh I also canceled my to go order. Lufkin, TX do better!!!

I was overcharged almost $60 on February 7th 2026. I returned the next day and spoke with a manager who confirmed that yes I was overcharger and he apologized and assured me that they would refund my overpayment to my debit card within an hour. That never happened.... I returned the following day and spoke with another manager, she went to the back and talked with her GM who stated that refunds had to be processed by their corporate office and that all of my info was send to corporate and that I would receive my refund soon. It has been a month and still nothing.... I would not recommend eating at this location. Messed up our orders multiple times and overcharged $57.77 on my debit card and have not made it right.

Ordered food to-go and apparently they assumed I like my burgers cremated. 🔥 No one asked how I wanted them cooked — they just went straight for “congratulations on your charcoal briquette.” These things were so well-done they needed a birth certificate from 1997. When I say inedible, I mean the burger crunched. Not seared. Not crispy. CRUNCHED. Like I bit into a hockey puck that lost a fight with a flamethrower. Burnt. Black. Traumatizing. Also… no vegetables? None. Not even a sad little piece of lettuce trying to survive the apocalypse happening underneath it. Just meat and regret. If it wasn’t a 30-minute drive back, I would’ve returned this fossil to its natural habitat. Instead, I spent way too much money just to throw dinner straight into the trash — because even my dogs said, “Respectfully, no.” I ended up eating beef jerky for dinner, and somehow it was 100% more tender than the burger. Should have just settled for that lab made stuff at McDonalds… at least I wouldn’t require dental work after eating it
