Being a Dallas native, I was always fond of the Southern Doughnuts chain. That was until I moved to Mesquite. My mind was instantly changed upon driving to work and finding this true gem of an establishment, located right in the center of Downtown Mesquite. I too support the Mom and Pop individual doughnut shops, but I have to confess that if I'm bringing doughnuts to work, or wanting something perfectly cooked, this is the place to go. Friendly staff, fast service - and of course, hot and delicious doughnuts. I invite you to stop by and give it a try for yourself.

Shipley Do-Nuts in Mesquite is my Saturday go-to before the farmers market! Always fresh donuts and fast, friendly service. The employee was very nice. Great breakfast spot, indoor dining, and a clean bathroom.

It's a really good place to grab a quick snack. I tried their glazed donuts, cream filled and bunch of other items. It was soft, had a nice warmth to it. Will definitely go back soon!

Good donuts kolaches are ok. The Terrell location has the best kolaches. Terrell location also gets you more bang for your buck. Half a dozen split box is 5 dollars here its 8 even though they are the same donuts. Maybe there is opportunity to cross train with Terrell i have no doubt if the kolaches from Terrell came to Mesquite with better pricing they can be as busy as the Terrell location which always has a line inside and outside

I went in this morning at 7am to get my kids donuts before school, donuts were chewy and definitely not fresh. Go elsewhere !

Not the same. Think management has changed. The quality/taste is not the same as it was previously. Does not have the distinct taste of a Shipley's donut. Smaller portions as compared to Ferguson location(chocolate twist is nearly half the size), dough lacks the crispy outside with soft inside and considerably higher prices (nearly 30%).

I really ever put a bad review but this is just something that was very meaningful to me. My wife isn’t feeling very well. I’m trying to get some fresh donuts to brighten up her day just a little and I went in this morning at 5:13 AM to try to get some fresh donuts And the guy told me pretty much go home and put them in the microwave myself. I know it’s nothing crazy. Least you can do is just tell me when the next batch will be ready rather than making me feel like a dick for asking. it was dead, just me in there. I get five ways donuts. They’re all cold. I go back. Ask him if I can get some fresh ones. He tells me they are fresh so I ask him for to warm them up a little bit and he bakes the hell out of them. I take them out the box and they are so soggy. So then I just Ask him for a new set And then he told me to go microwave them at home. my wife really loves this place and she’s always leaving great reviews at these places but this was so disappointing for me.

My husband went to pick up donuts and asked for a chocolate covered donut and was told by the employee there was not anymore while he was actively eating a chocolate covered donuts in my husband’s face. Absolutely disgraceful, do not come here.

Oct 25th 2024 - 8am Dont waste ur money here.......this was the First and last time checking this place out. They gave us a refund but this is unacceptable, my fiance almost ate this and could have had some real issues from it either by breaking a tooth or ingesting it, imagine if it was a child.... Manager didn't seem to care and told them to just give a refund, no apology no empathy.....Save yourselves the trouble, yes that's a big ass piece of metal in the sandwich 😮‍💨 never going here again!!
