This is a very family-oriented place. After you have gone a timer to they recognize you when you come in. The price is a very good value. The salad bar is fresh with a good amount of choices. If you want the buffet make sure to give yourself enough time to be done by 8: 30 because that's when they start shutting it down. I've never done the takeout. This is a nice place to go if you want a really good value and good service.

Public reviews are only as good as the person writing them and the person waiting on them. Some people have bad days and some people only want a paycheck and not do the work. There are been lies posted on here regarding this family owned and ran company. Selection is slim to say the least for good people in some establishments. So you all need to take that into consideration. I have known this family for over 20 years and I assure you they are God loving and NON-RACIST people. If the were racist my son never would have been allowed to work there for his 1st job with Leon, who by the way was black, and he was family to the owners for longer than I have known them. So all of you kids posting that anything negative was said or done by any owner or employee please bring that video forward and prove it. The people posting were not even there to witness what happened and the store video will prove that along with the other employees. You toss out accusations like this to hurt someone for your friend that actually worked there is childish and shows what kind of person your parents raised. You should be ashamed. If you are a customer having a bad experience I assure you that if you speak to a manager and ASK for what you want to be made FRESH just for you they will do it right then and there. I am praying the hatred from anyone stops and you get right with yourself and God so you can live a peaceful life and let others do the same. You can be there for your friends without lies and hatred. So Haven Moreno your friend was not fired he walked out. And Blu you are flat out lying about being there getting your food. Please provide the date and time stamped receipt proving this.

My 1st time there, 1st impressions are important. Wow! Amazing staff, AMAZING pizza! They make what ever pizza you request & bring it to your table. Love the thin crust, the salad bar, the nachos, potato wedges, pasta, and omg the dessert! I can't wait to go back! Worth the 30 min drive!!

A pizza buffet that can stay in business outside of Cici's is at least 4 stars in my book. Prices are good, people are nice, and buffet has a variety of choices. The only thing I'd really critisize is the ranch dressing. They could definitely have thicker dressing, not watery. But overall, I'd go back. Great little place.

Great all you can eat pizza restaurant. It is not big or fancy but the food is great and the team are friendly. It is a very affordable place to take your entire family. Note take some quarters for the kids to play some of the video games.

I haven't been to a Pizza Hut in 25 years but I was helping friends work around their property and they treated me to pizza. I was pleasantly shocked at how friendly the staff was when we entered. The food was fresh and hot. The salad bar was well stocked too. The whole place was nice and clean too. I've passed this okace for years and never had time to stop but not now. The next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to stop and enjoy a great pizza and salad. Thanks to Patrick and his staff!!!

The salad was great!! The 2 slices of pizza I ate was nice and hot. The staff was very pleasant. The table and chairs were clean. We ate in the back room and it was quiet and we could hear each other adequately well. It was a Sunday afternoon lunch and it was good.

I have been enjoying Pizza Inn buffets with their awesome salad bars since the invent, it's so great to come across a Pizza Inn like this and still be able to get a great meal including a health food meal of fresh salad along with a few slices of pizza!! If you feel that you've done well with the salad, have a pizzert too. Waiter was outstanding all by himself waiting on a full lunch time rush crowd! I never needing any tea, always checking in on everybody, great service!!🤟🎸🎉😎

It was my 1st time, and I had no expectations. I google Pizza near me, and this was my option. I was looking to eat a slice of pizza. Didn't even know they had a buffett option. At 1st glance, this is the best example of "Never judge a book by its cover." Place looks it might benefit from fresh paint or minor repairs. Once you walk in, it seems a bit better, but nothing fancy. Simple look. It's a very friendly, cozy atmosphere. But once in.... the crew is super friendly. The place is really clean. Smells as freshly made pizza! The variety on the buffett was good. Had pizza, pasta, salads, and homemade desserts. I could become a critic and say the pizza is this or that, but c'mon? Its buffett style? Im just saying dont be looking for the Best in the world Mitchelin Star Pizza but I bet you are going to be surprise of how good they are for what your paying and to be a fast paced style. 5 Stars because it was a very nice surprise. Good value for money. Good service. Congrats!

This is where you want to go if you are old enough to remember the Pizza Inn Buffets 25+ yrs ago. This is a ride down memory lane since they still offer the Buffet and use the slower cooking oven from the olden days that gives you that taste you'll remember. Salad Bar is also excellent! Anyways, if your in the area do yourself a favor - stop by.

Hadn't been to Pizza Inn in years so decided to stop in for dinner on our way home. Truly enjoyed it. Our server was so kind and attentive. Wonderful young man. Food was fresh and hot and salad bar had many items. Well worth it. Didn't do buffet but it looked amazing.

We love Pizza Inn, they are awesome and have great service. Pizza, salad and desserts taste delicious. I just regret not ordering the wings, other customers say they’re good. However by the time u finish eating pizza, salad and dessert the tank is full and ur done for the day 😂. Chill and mellow at Pizza Inn I recommend this place for everyone

I have only carried out, so I can't speak for their buffet or the dine in experience, but I can confidently say that I drive over twenty miles out of my way to eat here when I get the chance. Their thin crust pizza is AWESOME!!! We get an extra large half pepperoni and green pepper and half beef and jalapeno and it is under $16, hard to find. The pizza is always hot and fresh, the crust is crispy, and the customer service has been friendly each time I visit. Can't wait to come back!

Desserts are great plenty from a cheery pizza Dessert, pudding Dessert and cinnamon Dessert filled with pecans. Plenty of salad fixings. I've grown up around Pizza inn buffets they need to bring them back out this is only one I've been able to find in DFW Airport area and they make some of the best pizzas all that being said the pizza buffet is just awesome that go far beyond making their customers happy they really love to load up on the pizzas I believe they have got one of the best meat lovers Pizza that has actually been around the Dallas-Fort Worth area and you don't see it out ask they have no problem making it as you can see ham and cheese Stromboli 😉

The staff here are super nice and really helpful. The cheese sticks, pizza, salad and desserts are all solid, especially the cinnamon stromboli. I used to love CiCi’s, but this place is easily ten times better. They even have a drive-thru, and for two people it was only $28 with tax on a Sunday for the buffet, which isn’t bad at all. We went around 4:30 pm and it was pretty quiet, hardly anyone there. I honestly hope more people check this place out. The seats were a little awkward to get into and the restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but I didn’t really mind.

I went to this location for lunch with my sister earlier this afternoon. I’ve ordered pizzas for delivery and pick-up but never had their buffet. It was packed when we got there but this did not prevent our server from providing excellent service. She was outstanding. My apologies for not remembering your name. The pics I posted do not do this place justice as I indulged in many more slices of pizza than what’s shown. Needless to say, I’ll be returning.

I had not been to a Pizza Inn for years, but a friend of mine is a buffet junkie, and it was his idea to go. It's pretty much exactly like I remembered- all kinds of pizza available, in seemingly never-ending quantities, at a great price. I enjoyed the dessert pizza more than I remembered, and with or without a drink, it's a great value. Our server was very friendly and professional, as well. Recommended.

First time eating here. Everything was clean. Food was plentiful. Real spaghetti pasta not corkscrew noodles. I loved the salad bar but they should add cottage cheese. Will be going back. I thought so much better than CiCi's. Could use some paint and updating but for me is not necessary. I went for the food not the decor.

Pizza was pretty good. Some was fresh and some seemed like it had been out a little while. Building was dated. Soda was great. I didn't have desert or salad bar but others with me did and said it was good. Employees were very nice.

Hadn't had their pizza in a decade or more (since I was a kid) but went recently and was very pleasantly surprised. Good pizza, and the lunch buffet was actually pretty darn great. Definitely check them out. As odd as it sounds my favorite pizzas were the taco pizza and buffalo chicken pizza. This would be a awesome place to take the fam if you've got a hanker'in for some pizza.

Having a buffet is tricky during times of covid-19 but they have figured out a way to do it without a problem! Their thin crust pepperoni is fantastic! They also make pizza upon request to put on the buffet. The server checked back with us several times to make sure we were doing okay or if we needed drink refills.

Tables were dirty but other than that food was fresh and hot and everything was brought to us in a timely manner. And the pizza inn employee took good care of us checking to see if we needed refills or more pizza.

Food was pretty good & service was great. My niece is a regular so we were treated extremely well. Remembered their usual pizza & drinks. Impressive!

What happened to all our regular staff? They had been helping us for years, and always were friendly and attentive, remembering drink orders and pizza requests. That was good service. All new wait staff and kitchen workers are ok, I guess, but we miss the regulars that suddenly all disappeared. Food is basically the same Pizza Inn fare, except for missing the sunflower seeds on the salad bar.

One of the few remaining pizza in locations that I know of, we visit whenever we are near Midlothian. Service is always great. The staff is friendly and the pizza is always just how we like it. My wife loves the crispy thin crust, I prefer the hand tossed, but whatever you like l, just ask and they will make it for you if it's not on the buffet. They have fun extras like chicken nuggies and wedge cut fries. Don't forget dessert, choose a fun dessert topping or pudding. The back room has classic arcade games and an air hockey table. All you can eat at a price that is fair, even in our inflated economy. Well worth the stop.

Who doesn't love the old school pizza buffet? If you don't you are probably not from my generation and you have no idea what you've missed out on. I love pizza inn this salad bar was super fresh as was the pizza and dessert and I got there like 45 minutes before closing. BTW kudos to the young staff working there they had the upmost respect for everyone and just super polite to customers. Awesome job Pizza Inn.

Enjoyed our experience here! Haven't been to a pizza Inn in quite awhile, I enjoyed all the different pizzas. My husband enjoyed all the different desserts... his favorite part of all dinners, lol. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful with the rules for the buffet. Looking forward to going back soon

I haven't had Pizza Inn for decades. And with one bite all the memories of my dad came back. And while it may not be the best pizza or best service or even a decent building it still brought back so many memories. Back in the 80's my dad worked security for the DeSoto TX location on Friday and Saturday nights, he was a police officer, at Pleasant Run and Beckley. So my step mom would take us up to eat and we'd eat all the pizza we could then we'd go home and watch wrestling. But I always remember eating so much pizza there at Pizza Inn on Friday and Saturday nights growing up. Just great memories of my dad.

Very pleased with my experience. The staff was very kind and the pizza was great. I love a good pizza buffet and this place did not disappoint. I drove from Fort Worth to eat here. There were many options to choose from and if they don’t have it on the buffet, you can request it. The salad bar was very good as well. The only thing keeping my review from being 5 stars is that the inside is dated and could use a remodel. Great experience overall!

It's okay not what I remember their pizza tasting like 12 years ago either they changed their recipe or there's so many pizza places now it makes it harder to judge fairly. But good place for mediocre salad, pizza, nachos, spaghetti, pudding($8 or $10w/drink) and chicken wings are not on the buffet but can be bought or you can order a pizza and eat it at the table if you don't want the buffet and they also have games(which costs extra). They have a large tv; football was on when I went. They had good service coming to the table during the meal to refill drinks and take away plates they will also make a special order pizza if you don't see it on the buffet.

The nyxl is super greasy crust should be thinner for nyxl pizza also I can tell that you stopped using pace mild picante on the chicken fajita pizza I don't know what brand you switch to but change it back and the chicken is seasoned with something but not fajita seasoning please fix it bc that pizza was dry as hell. If you're really hungry and want something cheap, this is the place to go. Food isn't bad, but I would go here for lunch at work when I didn't wanna spend much money. Their desert pizzas are pretty good if you have a sweet tooth. One of my co-workers hated eating here, so one day when we were all driving into town they asked where we were eating. We said "Pizza iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnn" and the person started quietly crying.

This is the second pizza inn I've been to and it will probably also be the last. Let me first say that everything specific to this location was good, the service was friendly, the locations was clean, and the food was fresh and hot. My problem I think is just with the pizza inn franchise in general. I tried the pepperoni, the sausage, the garlic bread, and the dessert pizzas. The pizzas at both locations I've been to are just bad. The sauce is bland and there is too much of it. The toppings on the pizzas taste cheap. The buffet bars are small with only the most basic pizzas available. They have nachos but even by cheap food standards the nacho cheese is terrible. The food just isn't good.

This is the worst place. Run by teenagers. Dirty tables. Unswept around the buffet. Two guys just hiding near buffet complaining. I see a Broom but Nobody is using it. The guy at Cash Register greeted with a heavy sigh and half roll of his eyes as we came in. Just go on in he says with disgust pointing towards the waitress. You could hear his comments where we sat. The rest of the children loudly acting like out of control brats. Yelling about whose turn it was to wash dishes and clean tables. And one saying there is two tables left and its almost 8:30! If this was my establishment, I would be very upset. These children have no concept of customer service. Where is an adult to train them properly? First time and definitely last. 3 stars for cold 🍕

My wife and I went to the Pizza Inn in Midlothian for the buffet. On the down side, the restaurant is showing it's age, there was a dead cockroach just outside the door and the pizza was not warm. On the upside, the staff was friendly and attentive, the salad was good and the company was great.

There were very few pizzas on the buffet for most of the time that we were there but our server took good care of us and got us special orders as quickly as he could.

I ordered pizza online and it was hot and ready at the time I selected, so that was great. My only criticism is the pizza is not what it used to be compared to the OG Pizza Inn I remember. Honestly, it had a frozen pizza and/or Chuck E. Cheese flavor to it. I gave up on Domino’s and Papa John’s, hoping Pizza Inn would offer something nostalgic and good. Guess I’ll stick with mom & pop pizza places.

Pizza, if fresh is decent. If old, blech. Salad bar is good and plenty of options. The instructions to use salad bar and pizza buffet are fantastic. Unfortunately not everyone in the restaurant adheres to them. Also, even though a sign is up for everyone to wear a mask, apparently it is optional. Customers come in and willy-nilly wear masks. However the last straw was seeing staff preparing the pizzas behind the counter not wearing gloves, nor masks. No thanks. Service was good and kind, which was why they get a second star.

They used to make decent pizza but have slipped the past few times I have ordered. The thin crust is like wet cardboard and no longer crispy delight is used to be. Little Cesar's makes better pizza.

I used to really enjoy this place but after yesterday I won’t come back. We had no waitress there was no pizza or sides only salad for the 5 o’clock buffet. I had to ask for drinks and everyone a pizza came out everyone swarmed around it like a pack of hungry wolves. My husband didn’t even get his pizza he asked for. We left unsatisfied but paid. I will say it was busy but you could not keep up.

The floor is horrible! I stumbled over it. The lady that came in after us tripped over the flooring that was popped up and fell forward, dropping her salad but thankfully caught herself on the table!! They were informed of what happened, and a suggestion was made to close off that section. However, they were not interested in doing that. Wait, staff agreed, but the manager makes that call. He didn't even come over and ask if she was ok!

Dirty and expensive for what it was. When the pizza came out, everyone was up in line grabbing it and they were out before we could even get a slice. Salad bar was subpar. When we told the person up at the front, she said they we're short staffed, and proceeded to get back on her phone and do nothing. We won't be going back.

Fruit flies flying all around dining room. Pizza that was left on buffet was cold and hard. The fresh pizza we asked them to make was very good and just fought through the flies to eat it. Very friendly waitress.

What I witnessed at this restaurant is absolutely disgusting. As I was picking up my pizza the other day I over heard 2 different white employees making racial slurs and comments towards a black coworker of theirs (one of the 2 is the manager). The 2 then continued to laugh about what they just did and it was obvious the black coworker was uncomfortable, upset & singled out considering he was the only black employee I saw. I was surprised about how well the black gentleman held his composure after how inappropriate those comments were. It was extremely hateful, unprofessional, and blatantly disrespectful. The fact that the person who runs this place defends and allows such a ignorant person in a position such as manger shows a lot about how they like to run their business. Disgusting.

Love the food here but won't be coming back been waiting for weeks to come have the buffet with my wife and son and when we walked thru the door the buffet was full of pizza and we were stoked and ready to dive in only to be turned away because it was 2:05 and they shutdown the buffet from 2-5 (for some reason). Hoping they donate all that food on the buffet and not throw it away or save until they reopen at 5. D'Ville Pizza Inn...you have new customers

Management advertises a price, charges another. It wasn't even a special, but the regular menu. I brought it to the managers attention, and the response is he forgot and can't undo the transaction? Seriously? There's not a void or refund on your register? He did suggest I download the app for rewards. Why would I return when you're deliberately not refunding money you overcharged? I will never recommend this place.

Feb 24, 1 star: Don't go here if the parking lot is full on a Friday night. Buffet wasn't a buffet--No lettuce, no pizzas, dirty tables, no nspkins, forgotten drinks, eventually no clean plates and overwhelmed kids as employees. What a disaster! Ill stick to daytime. Sep 23, 4 stars: I love coming here. Food was good...need to pay attention to the time limits (2 hrs?) under the heat lamps. Some crusts were "old"; tasted old and not satisfyingly crunchy.

We've always enjoyed eating here, but the service has really gotten bad. The pizzas were cold. Had to ask for our drinks, and if they could put some fresh pizzas out. Probably won't be coming back any time soon.

My wife and I went in Tuesday 6-8-21 at approximately 7o'clock. The kid running the buffet said it'd be about 20 minutes before more pizza came out. We sat down where we could find a clean table, and there were not many, and started drinking our sodas. There were trash and plates on almost every table that hadn't been bussed up. The place was filthy. After about a half hour a couple of pizzas came out but only a couple of people were able to get any because they ran out of clean plates. After another 10 minutes more plates finally came. When we did finally get to eat, after 40 or 45 minutes after sitting down, the pizza was very lackluster. There were people using their dirty plates at the buffet, others just using napkins as plates, and some were taking the sheet of paper between the pizza pan and the pizza as their plate. Several people in line were saying that they had come to this Pzza Inn because there's had gotten so bad but were now disappointed with this one as well. We definitely won't be going back. The waiter only stopped by to see us once right before we left. Everybody in the restaurant was having to get their own drinks all night. This Restaurant Has Become... GROSS!!!...GROSS!!!...GROSS!!! Do yourself a favor and find another pizza place. This Pizza Inn Is Done.

Unfortunately not all Pizza Hut buffet are equal. You could definitely tell this location was not meeting corporate standards and had to be independently owned. A Buffett for two with water was $19 dollars but the quality of food was not worth even that. I tried to get a salad because I knew the pizza didn’t peak my interest but sadly they didn’t have lettuce but had all the toppings. Half a star or no start for this one, but theres so much great development taking place in this city, can this establish receive some support.

Horrible experience and the pizza is really bad Came in for lunch time and was super disappointed with service and food quality. this was the worst pizza I have had in years. Defiantly not worth the $14 I spent. Even though when you first walk in it says $10.99 for lunch buffet with no drink. I got no drink(had my own water bottle) but I still got charged for them bringing me a water that I never asked for nor drank it. And when I asked them they had a ridiculous excuse to why I’m being charged, I just paid and left because the guys in this establishment are clearly uneducated.

Ordered 5 pizzas. 4 were wrong. 2 had the wrong crust and 2 had the wrong meat. Kids ate half of the one with the wrong crust and half of the one with the wrong meat before we noticed. Called up there and they said bring the pizzas back and they would have them remade the correct way. Got there about 15 minutes later with the 4 incorrect pizzas. They would only replace two since two had been partially consumed. I told them combine the two partials and replace three pizzas. They couldn't do it. I get 10% off my next two pizzas. That's a whole $2. Waited another 15 minutes to get two remade and now we have two fresh pizzas and two partials that are an hour old. I was charged create your own instead of large 1 topping. Came out to $20 and some change more then it should have. They refunded the difference when I pointed it out. Headed home to eat cold incorrect pizza

Absolutely disgusted! The cook's don't use glove's I watched an employee make 3 pizza's during my visit I observed him answering the phone he scratched his head numerous he NEVER washed his hands) wiped his shirt countless times while making pizzas the kitchen area was dirty and very outdated, the soda area was dirty the nozzles looked as tho they haven't been clean since they opened this place is NASTY I can't believe this place passes inspection's this was my 1st and only time I threw my pizza's in the trash I just couldn't eat them based on what I had observed Just 🤮

The order started off 30 minutes early, we ordered two pizzas, one pan style, the other thin crust, and both were incredibly undercooked and very soft crust.
