The food was delicious. I ordered the Cali eggs benedict and added bacon instead of ham. Yummy! The hash browns were perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was busy, and I only saw two servers waiting tables. I had to ask for refills on coffee. Other than that, I really like this place. It was my first time there, and I will be back.

This is a place that is wonderful and has the best taste around... Thank you to the owner and thank you for the waitresses who served me and made my experience one of the best

Been going to Chelly's Cafe for years. It never disappoints The food is amazing The service is amazing and the owners themselves are just great overall people who will stop what they're doing and come up and give you a hug. Can we talk about the food. I've never had a bad dish there my favorite dish is their homemade muffins but they make daily and the chilaquiles is outstanding.

Everything about this place is faaannntastic. Aaaalllll The food, the service, and the atmosphere. Everyone's happy eating in here. The muffins are phenomenal and home made, and the OJ is fresh squeezed! its exquisite. And the owner is such a dove. She always remembers me and says hi and is always smiling and working hard. It's very homey vibes and yummy food, you're gunna love it! and you can feel good about supporting a local business:) Oh! P.S. I am pretty certain I can say that I won't be able to find a better tasting green chilaquiles!!!!!

Awesome awesome place. Today was my first time dining in. As this place gets packed on the weekends! I regret not have waited, because it is well worth the wait. Their breakfast is so good! Especially the waffles! Many cafes seem to not be able to get that waffle recipe right. But this place does! I also like their prices. Black bear down the lot definitely breaks the bank and tbh isn't all that. This is definitely a go to. I just wish they had a bigger place. Also I used to order take out for lunch and their chicken sandwiches are great! I believe they have a Cajun crispy one. Must try.

10 stars if they let me. This was our first time visiting and hands down these are the most friendly and attentive staff I have ever seen. Its almost like your part of their family by providing continuous service. This is definitely our new spot for breakfast. The portions are nice and food is cooked to perfection. Don't miss out

Great food, really good service. Fair pricing. Greeted by a cheerful table cleaner, inviting us to seat at his freshest work. Or anywhere. I did breakfast. Hubby did lunch. Breakfast all day, with homemade muffins. The mild green salsa served with my eggs was vibrant, with no extended heat/bite. A nice surprise.

Overall good breakfast spot. I was excited to see grits on the menu, for which I added cheese and they did not disappoint. Ordered corn beef hash and eggs, the hash was not good, tasted like canned hash, no texture, no potatoes or onions, why I rated the food a four. However, there is enough on the menu to try, especially the muffins, I will definitely be back.

Nice place. Good food. Ordered the Mexican Scramble. Staff was attentive and friendly. Seating can be cramped at times as we had to share a table with another party. But they didn’t mind and neither did we. The hollandaise we also tried was tasty but a bit thick and did have a canned nacho-cheese flavor for some reason.

My husband and I stop by to try out this place and first thing I can say the dining room was CROWDED and hot. My husband order the steak and eggs which were good, but my order of French toast was burnt and dry. Our server was attentive and polite. Tables are extremely close to each other but food and service was ok.

I always order the howies Belgian waffle However, this time the waffle did not taste fresh. It was hard on the edges, and the blueberries were rotten and bananas were over ripen way over ripened which changed the whole entire flavor experience that I’ve had in the past they should toss their old bananas and fresh blueberries. I told the waitress and she did not apologize. All she said was that she would let the cook know she didn’t even offer to bring me fresh blueberries and a decent banana yet I was still charged full price when I did not enjoy it, rotten blueberries, and over ripen bananas ruined the entire dish. Will not be ordering this ever again. I will stick with Karen‘s kitchen. they make everything super fresh. They would never serve, rotten fruits and produce to a customer at a consideration.

This wasn't the first time I had eaten here, but it was the first time I had the worst breakfast ever here. I ordered two eggs over medium and asked for them to be over medium twice. Please, I asked. I got two runny bearly over easy eggs and the small and burnt hash browns. I've had better experience here in the past. Let's hope next time is more enjoyable.

I ordered a French dip to go, they gave me mayo and no au jus. Was ok, nothing special.

The breakfast is ok and as far as the veggies omelette I had better from other places and the food is kinda pricey for my opinion .

This was the second time we were served by this waitress, and both have been terrible . First time she forgot to put our food order in. This time it took a very long time for our food to come out. We saw three tables of people that came in after us and were served first. I complained to her and she blamed it on only one cook. I could clearly see 4 men back in the kitchen from my seat. Normally, we have a great meal, we will return but will avoid having her as a server!!

Food was bland, gross and overpriced. The place is super packed with tables so it kinda like its a fire hazard. The service is horrible and when you walk in its like they just leave you standing there till someone gets to you. They dont have a host or someone to tell you a wait time so people are usually standing in the doorway awkwardly and there is no seating outside. The tables are tiny here and you seriously are almost touching people all around you. Litterally theres nothing good about this place and it feels so uncomfortable to walk in this place. You'll see. You'll feel it. Dont even bother sitting down. Get out of this place quick and don't bother coming back!

This place is extremely extremely over priced. They tried to charge me $7:70 for a small sized orange juice. To give you reference it was the size of the small drinks at Starbucks. Their food is like home cooked food, I can make better French toast in my opinion. I don’t think the orange juice needs to be almost 8 dollars for a small cup…

Gave it a try after 2 years. Heard people suggest it lately by invitation. So what was good? The bacon. A side is $7.35 because my order had no meat,to my surprise. My daughter's and I ordered eggs Benedict traditional, sausage, and i went for the so-called California, browned oxidized avocado, on reg English muffin and a poorly executed over cooked poached eggs on all 3 orders. Sauce, nothing to cheer for. My waitress was very nice but seemed overwhelmed. Got my order, correct. Final bill w coffee n 1 oj ($6.25) total 73.32 To finish it off when I was informed by the cashier who came to my table, possibly the owners daughter, she was a smart... I raised my opinion on overpriced bacon, and she stated I could go to ihop. Funny. As if their quality was as good as ihop or better. You looked at the menu right, she stated. BE AWARE 3% surcharge + 2.19 for credit card, visa doesn't charge them that much. I wasn't going to chance my debit card being compromised. Well, I won't be back, to say the least. Maybe their lease is too high? Walmart shopping center. A lot of fellow hard-working Hispanics support this business on a Friday. The place was busy. But you are getting robbed. Remember, to the owner, it's your people who make this up who you pay to service your customers. I could have paid and went home with a "valuable" lesson, and said nothing. 30 years in the restaurant business, including the magic castle, frank and musso, etc. And regular diners. Small business operators. However, you're rude, "smart" young girl could have had a mature response to my opinion and said.... how can we improve? How can we make sure you come back and give us another chance? Etc. But again, it takes a mature person to react appropriately. I hope no time soon is this, the person, running your business with so many other choices. Including a big name next door like Black Bear. We come here to get the small business mom n pop service. And support you as a fellow businessman. I was upset. Because of the reaction. As a adult ive earned my right to be respected by a mocosa, respectively. It's not your prices. For what i get, that leaves a bad taste, that's your right. And mind to have a opinion and make a choice. I also waited 15 minutes between my first coffee and second for $5.00. Understand this is typical today. No worries. The price, not the service. I do apologize for my angry mess I left, for i wish the young person to clean, but unfortunately you're very nice, busboy who was who greeted us and served us our beverages. I wish I'd left him a tip. Personally.

Ordered pastrami sandwich, asked to add a few things to the sandwich. When I received it, nothing was added and there was one thin slice of meat for the whole sandwich. The onion was huge and took over the one slice of meat that was there. I cut a half into a half and used the meat for that quarter piece. That was it, the whole meal became a quarter piece of a sandwich. The he waitress never came back until she seen we were done. My husband got a patty melt, extremely cold and missing added items. Really a bummer, this was our 1st time trying this place and it will also be our last.
