Enjoyable meal outdoors and they are taking great precautions - really sanitizing their tables/chairs which was great to see. Awesome cocktails and loved the filet which came with two sides. High quality food and great service.

My steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it. Our party of 5 was seated quickly & even put our cake in the fridge and cut it for us. We were very pleased with the service and the had hanging partitions to separate tables for safety.

I never write reviews but it’s been almost a week and I can’t stop thinking about the Goat Cheese ravioli dish I had here. It was the most perfectly balanced meal I have ever eaten.

Top quality food and drink. Service was friendly and informative. Shrimp and grits was perfectly prepared. The baby octopus was the best I ever had. The fresh baked bread was stellar. I wish I had room for dessert the choices were so tempting.

Very good meal and wine. Lovely staff and management. I left my purse there and couldn’t retrieve it for a week. They were great and nice about it from the first moment I called. It’s important to support good businesses who are also good people.

Great tasty food. Well priced. However, seeing that mostly older people eat here. The fact that it has brick walls and no sound dampeners to stop the echo, for hearing challenged it makes it difficult to hear when busy. For under $1k this could tastefully be fixed as truly high end restaurants do.

First time patrons to celebrate a birthday. We were greeted and seated shortly after arrival despite not having a reservation (on a busy Saturday, no less.) The staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating the entire evening. And the food... Was incredible! Appetizers, drinks, main courses, and desserts were all 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We went home happy, full, and excited to go back and try everything else on the menu. Thank you for making a special day even more special!

Went to Flatiron for the first time ever for a private event and we were treated as if we were regulars! Food was really good and Sara our bartender was top notch! Will DEFINITELY stop in next time we’re in the Red Hook area! Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

The food was fantastic! We had a large party and shared an assortment of food with one another. From the swordfish to the prime rib and crab in between everything was phenomenal! My favorite was the beer selection; its local and diverse, with delicious fruit sour ales. The staff was tentative and knowledgable and the owner is respectable, and runs a genuinely nice restaurant. Highly recommend!

I was seriously impressed with this place. Even though they were busy, our waitress(young blonde girl) was awesome and very attentive. The food was SPECTACULAR. I have zero complaints. Everything was seasoned and balanced perfectly. Hard to find a place with both good service and good food. Will be coming back!

This place is usually amazing. Went for a late dinner and was pretty disappointed. Salmon (not pictured) came to the table RAW, like raw raw… i asked for medium steak (sirloin pictured ) and got rare… The appetizers were 10/10 but something went wrong with our meals this night :( recommend going earlier for dinner

We love Flatiron, we've been patrons since they opened. The chef-owner Craig is a lovely guy and the food is always great. We love eating at the bar and meeting people. But the bartender Sarah is moody...last week she was just plain rude to me and sharply impatient with my husband. It was shocking and unnecessary. I think we'll give it a rest for a while. Needless to say, I'm sorry.

But the bartender Sarah is moody...last week she was just plain rude to me and sharply impatient with my husband. It was shocking and unnecessary. I think we'll give it a rest for a while. Needless to say, I'm sorry.

Service was great, food was above average, only reason I am giving one less star is because the bathrooms are in serious need of cleaning, fixing and do not match the rest of the qualities of this restaurant.

Unfortunately have to write this review as have usually had a lovely experience at Flatiron. Last night arrived at 8:15 and was seated. We were waiting for two others to arrive but ordered drinks and an appetizer while waiting. Our friends arrived at 8:35, seated and settled into look at the menu. As the waiter returned and we were going to give our order, he informed us that the kitchen and bar are now closed. Stunned given there were people at the bar and eating their meals, we asked why. He said maybe because we're not busy. We asked if the manager/owner could explain as they should have told us it was last orders if closing teh kitchen early. The waiter returned saying they were just closed. Finally the owner came over and said he was busy talking with friends and that he decided to close early and we can go. Not sure what is going on for a restaurant owner to ignore customers, close early in their face with no rationale or warning, even the waiter didn't know until we put in an order. The restaurant is open usually to 9pm on a Thursday. Upon leaving the owner was back behind the bar chatting with his friends who i guess are more important than other customers. I gave one last request to why he would treat customers this way and expect them to return. He said he didn't care. Maybe it's a bad night for him for some reason. But it's not a way to keep locals supporting your restaurant. Again, we've had lovely service from Jessica who wasnt there last night. maybe something is wrong and it's an aberration but it's hard to see ever returning. Sadly, Craig lost some good ongoing local business. Beware folks.
